Dear Mr Paul Kernaghan CBE, QPM

Thank you for your correspondence of the 18 February 2019. My response to said correspondence will be posted to my website: https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site and other Social Media platforms in line with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and other relevant Rule of Law.  You are lucky to have Officers, I have been representing myself over these past years and the radicalisation by the terrorist cells just keep adding up.

I realise this will be a disgrace to the Judiciary Of England And Wales, but would like to assure you that I considered all aspects of the opportunity that have been given to the Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal to deal with the matter. This have been going on from the time I submitted my claims to the London South Employment Tribunal in December 2015. There is an old saying that “you make your bed so you lie in it”. I did not make this bed, therefore I will nit be lying in it any longer and waste away.

For there to be no ambiguity about my intentions, to tell the world about how the ET and EAT have presided over the miscarriages of justice, I will address your response by the relevant points only. I have been left to come to the conclusion that the Judicial Appointments & Conduct Ombudsman is staff by complete idiots, without prejudice. Just to inform you that I collected the parcel that the EAT was beating down my door at 7:00am to deliver on the 12/3/2019 from the Post Office. As you might notice, I am using your style of writing to rebut your arguments. I will be going through same with my defensive practices from www.leyf.org.uk collected over the time 1/9/2009 to date.

Introduction

I would like there to be a review of how the entire EAT go about handling of complaints. Because from my recent experiences, the Judicial Ombudsman is resorting to the same tactics used by LEYF the Respondent that resulted in the Judiciary Of England And Wales getting caught up in this sordid affair that will prove that Modern Slavery is thriving in the UK. For the records I have been sent on all these journeys already. For there to be no shadow of a doubt, I have dealt with the President of the Employment Tribunal (ET) Judge Brian Doyle. I have already posted about him on my website, meaning it has been shared to Social Media platforms.

My remit

In accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and other relevant Rule of Law, I used the www.ico.org.uk Subject Access Request – Data Protection Act – 117119 the Disclosure Team data.access@justice.gsi.gov.uk to get the relevant data pertaining to this case. In the first place, I should not have had to the EAT for reconsideration about https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016. But, since the London South Employment Tribunal carried out the second miscarriage of justice in the case of Mrs Mervelee Myers, I will carry on until I get justice. It was Justice Mrs Ingrid Ann Simler who sent my case back to the EAT. At the same time I asked for documents from the bundles to be returned to me.

Which took a year to be sent to me, after John Booth, Delivery Manager Employment Appeal Tribunal letter in my response to letter dated 15 December 2018 stating he did not see any applications for return of my documents.  In light of the fact that the bone of contention is that the Respondent’s Rep Mr John Fenton of www.personnelconsultancy.com keeps lying about my Medical Reports. And the failure of the Respondent to comply with Judge Baron Case Management Court Order of the 15 March 2016. Later on the 8 June 2016, Mr Fenton lied in the ET Court in the presence of Judge Elliott and Winnifred McLeish-Jacques, saying he did not receive any Medical Reports in the bundle I sent him.  And failed to comply with Judge Elliott’s Case Management Court Order of the 8//6/2016.

Also that the ET was put into disrepute when Judge Freer lied that there were no other Medical Reports excepting www.healthmanltd.com. I handed the Medical Reports to Judge Freer in the court, because they were deliberately left out of the bundles to pervert the course of justice. Let me make it absolutely clear that my complaint is to do with the EAT, as I’d addressed the ET to the relevant sources. Which is Judge Brian Doyle Presidents_Office_Employment_E&W@hmcts.gsi.gov. I am just wondering why the EAT decided to send my bundle back?

 Mr Kernaghan claims I reiterated my original complaints about the EAT case and HHJ Shanks, which are not within his remit to comment on. Without prejudice this is how abuse of power by the people in authority is allowed to happen. Because LEYF used the same tactics with their Confidentiality Policies & Procedures from the time I was gagged by the Senior HR Dilys Epton for raising my concerns about the mistreatment at BIB on the 30/1/2015. Then, when I was advised to put in a Grievance by the Independent Solicitors, because www.voicetheunion.org.uk advised me not to appeal. LEYF claim they could not tell me what they were doing because of Confidentiality. But did not stop to think that they were in breach of the contract I signed on the 7th October 2009. Because it was not updated and reviewed in line with the Equality Act 2010.

Since I did not sign any Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA), I am holding the Judiciary Of England And Wales responsible for the negligence in allowing this exploitation to be continuing against me. This is because the ET & EAT are covering up for each other for perverting the course of justice. Mr Kernaghan claims she also complained,  among other issues, that – I refuse to waste my precious time on any of the matter that is not relevant. Because I have lost 5 years of my life already.

Mervelee Myers decision

 I am taking Mr Paul Kernaghan to task for his decision that my complaint, among  does not warrant a full investigation. Because without prejudice, he seems to have been drawn into whatever pact the ET & EAT have signed with LEYF and cohorts at www.7br.co.uk? The Office of the Judicial Appointments & Conduct Ombudsman www.gov.uk/government/organisations/judicial-appointments-and-conduct-ombudsman & headofoffices@judicialombudsman.gov.uk is not fit for purpose and need to be investigated. For accepting bribes to cover up the perversity I experienced at the ET for the second time refer to www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers.

Factors taken into account

  1. Refer to the Reserve Judgment that the ET took 5 months to copy and paste from the Respondent’s Summary.
  2. Refer to the Disclosure Team Ministry of Justice data.access@justice.gsi.gov.uk Subject Access Request – Data Protection Act – 117-119.
  3. Refer to the EAT refusing to return my bundle – John Booth Delivery Manager EAT letter response to my correspondence of 15 December 2018. (But doing so on the 12/3/2019 after I decided to publish on my website about the irregularities of the EAT)
  4. Refer to my Fight4justice campaign on https://www.facebook.com/public/Mervelee-Myers. LEYF claims they have no data for me.
  5. Refer to the Government rejection of my Petition for an Inquiry into the Early Years Sector https://petition.parliament.uk/help#standards where it stated that the Reserve Judgment is in breach of my Human Rights. On the 31/10/2017 the UK Government states “It included confidential, libellous, false or defamatory information, or a reference to a case that is active in the UK courts.
  6. It’s time the Government find the time to understand what action I would like to be taken after the second miscarriage of justice by the ET when I was directed to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/record-retention-and-disposition-schedules.
  7. Refer to my Medical Reports and the fact that I am a participant in Mental Health Research at http://www.radar-cns-org/ & is featured at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg102uOLUAY from June 2018.
  8. I am also featured in www.heal-d.co.uk as a participant in Diabetes Research after I completed www.desmond-project.org.uk from 2012 when I was first diagnosed with diabetes.
  9. There are the reviews on LEYF website which the ET refused to accept my Additional Witness Statement after the adjournment of the ET case.
  10. But Barrister Jones could get away with making up a contagious disease because she did not prepare the ET case for the Respondent. Everything was left to Mr John Fenton who have to admit on the day of the adjournment, he is not a lawyer.
  11. There are other like www.bwbllp.com that have been acting unprofessionally as a result of the Modern Slavery Practices by LEYF and cohorts. And which the ET & EAT succumb to willing or unwittingly.     

Why is there one rule for the ET & EAT and another for Mervelee Myers?

  1. The ET took 5 months to give me the Reserve Judgment
  2. When I phoned, I was given all sorts of excuses.
  3. The ET & EAT seem to refuse that the Equality Act 2010 apply to me, because of the failure to accept the fact in the Medical Reports that I have disabilities.
  4. When was the near future mentioned in THE HONOURABLOE MRS JUSTICE SIMLER DBE PRESIDENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT APPEAL TRIBUNAL letter of 31 December 2018?
  5. It’s a well known fact that there are triggers to my disabilities that can render me unable to carry out normal day-to-day activities.
  6. The way I have been treated by http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/employment/claims/responding is in breach of the Rules of Law and discriminatory.
  7. I have already named the Government Departments, individuals and the establishments and systems discriminating against me directly and indirectly.   

 Why did Mrs Justice Simler not take the time to consider the impact of my mental and physical disabilities when making her decisions in her letter of 31 December 2018?

  1. Did she stop to consider that I might not have seen the email so to send it by post also?
  2. Is it not a fact that I sent correspondences by email and post making sure there is no argument that I did not comply.
  3. So why did Mr Justice Simler not afford me the same curtsey?
  4. Why are they still trying to use my disabilities against me by confusing me with the Judicial Conduct (Tribunals) Rules 2014?
  5. LEYF didn’t review or update the Contract I signed on the 7th October 2009 in line with the Equality Act 2010.   

  I refuse to waste my time on Mrs Justice Simler explanation of what she identified about Judge Shanks. They are plain to be seen.

I refuse to waste my time going over Mrs Justice Simler set out Rule 34 (a) & 35 of the Judicial Conduct (Tribunals) Rules 2014.

  1. Mrs Justice Simler should know by now about my disabilities.
  2. She sent my case back to the EAT with caveats.
  3. I was ably represented by 1 PUMP COURT TEMPLE LONDON EC4Y 7AA tele: 020-7827-4000 DX LDE 452 www.cloisters.com.  

Or maybe Mrs Justice Simler was so caught up with her recent appointments and moving up the career ladder as well as giving interviews to care about what’s happening to another Mervelee Myers who has been radicalised and exploited by the terrorists’ cells operating Modern Slavery thriving in the UK? Just a note of caution that because I have been denied my entitlements by http://unison.org.uk in 2008. The Union that overturned the Government Law for employees to pay fee to take employers to the ET, I became a victim because of the blacklisting and networking from that time which ruined my career.

I have been doing my research on the internet, and coming up with some interesting fact about the “shouting HHJ Judge Shanks”. And Judge Freer who refused to give back the documents. The threads of discrimination playing out on the internet backs up my arguments that the ET & EAT are institutionally in breach of the “Protected Characteristics and Protected Act” of the Equality Act 2010. Because the ET went through lengths to stitch me up with the Telephone Conciliation. In the end Judge Hildebrand tried getting me to sign an NDA with the illiterate John Fenton www.personnelconsultancy.com. Where is Neil King of LEYF, and why did he resign? Judge Martin strike out my Racism claims repeatedly after Judge Baron recongnised me on the 15th March 2016 and sent it back for reviews. I should have taken LEYF for Ageism and Beliefs as well based on the Witnesses Statements and oral statements at the ET court.

Now I am taking issues with Mr Paul Kernaghan about this. The way he has written this is as if I did not explain when I actually see the email. And the fact I addressed the matter via email so I didn’t miss out. As a matter of fact I don’t know what other information Mrs Justice Simler wanted as she didn’t make that clear. But going on from the way I have been treated by the systems and establishments re the DWP www.gov.uk from I tried submitting my ET claims in December 2015, it’s obvious this is just another ploy to say I didn’t comply. Can you not see how Mr Kernaghan write that I did no respond to Mrs Justice Simler request for further information? But wrote to his office to raise complaint. It’s obvious that Mr Kernaghan did not read any of my correspondence.

I was contacted by Mr Adam Jones, who sent me the form www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk & headofoffice@jaco.gsi.gov.uk. The same pattern of misconduct happened with the Telephone Conciliation. Therefore, the ET & EAT don’t let me have to get out the rest of my defensive practice and naming all those involved with this sordid cover up? When my duty to my husband is finished here in the UK, I am returning to my country. I refuse to stay in the UK and be threatened with criminal record by www.gov.uk/universalcredit for making sure I get my entitlement.

I would like to see a #UNION that act different from the 2 that I paid my dues to. One is still charging even though I haven’t worked since 27th September 2015.

Justice Simler in her interview on the internet made mention of http://unison.org.uk/ overturning the Government Law for employees to pay to take employers to the Employment Tribunal. All I will say is my experiences of discrimination can be verified in www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers. Nothing changed since Dr Maria Hudson recommendations to ACAS.

I was made a statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. I have not worked since the nervous breakdown in another toxic work environment. Judge Freer of the ET lied and concealed my Medical Reports. Judge Shanks of the EAT claims I made up my disabilities. After Justice Simler sent my case bact with caveats. Now the www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk trying to cover up the negligence of not acting on my concerns during the time of the Employment Tribunal case. So www.7br.co.uk is been shileded.

The government recently announced the appointment of seven new Court of Appeal judges, among them Mrs Justice Simler, current president of the Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT). Mervelee Myers Analysis 8/3/2019: This is the EAT judge who sent my ET case back to the EAT. I am still at a loss to understand why she sent it back after the way she dealt with my complaints against Judge Shanks www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk. It is evident that the Judiciary Of England And Wales is staff by judges who are colluding with employers to deny vulnerable employees our entitlements.  

People Management caught up with her to discuss what the future holds for employment law – and the joys of lunching in the EAT judges’ common room. Mervelee Myers Analysis 8/3/2019: Owing to the fact about my ET and EAT case I would like the world to help me understand how the http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/employment/claims/responding can get away with presiding over another miscarriages of justice. In light of the fact that the “Protected Characteristics” of my diabetes disabilities was not upheld by the ET and EAT. Despite the Medical Reports of www.healthmanltd.com and the www.desmond-project.org.uk that treated me? I would like for those responsible to look at the impacts of my disabilities on how I am/was able to carry out normal day-to day activities after I was targeted and my disabilities used against me.   

What have been the highlights from your time as president of the EAT?

There have been many; it is a role I will miss enormously when I step down at the end of my three-year term. First, the quality of the advocacy at the employment bar is high, and means a difficult appeal in the EAT is likely to be well argued. This makes hearing complex appeals all the more enjoyable. Arguments can be properly tested and often a clearer route to resolution emerges than might otherwise be the case. Mervelee Myers Analysis 8/3/2019: I will refer you to the reserve judgment https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 to dispute this argument about how Justice Simler have trivialised an EAT case like mine as enjoyable. I am challenging her that she used my case for her own perversity, the same way Samantha Rochelle Jones of www.7br.co.uk did after I was targeted into having a nervous breakdown using sensitive information from my FILE that was withheld before I transferred from Luton Street LEYF. 

Second, dealing with complex appeals that raise issues of wider importance is challenging and rewarding, particularly where I am able to provide guidance that might assist those in the workplace or tribunals deciding cases at first instance. Cases about payments for sleep-in shifts and about employment statushave been highlights. Mervelee Myers Analysis 2019: I would like to direct the reader to www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers to find out why recommendation was made to ACAS by Dr Maria Hudson. The Judiciary Of England And Wales is guilty of abusing the power of their authority in not listening to the plight of employees who are not getting support and representations. Refer to the reviews at www.leyf.org.uk whilst my case was at the ET. The ET refused to accept the additional Witness Statement when this evidence came to light during the adjournment.  Am I to conclude then that the guidance Justice Simler is taking about is one like what the ET Judge Hildebrand tried using to tie me to a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) of £58,000.00? And how the ET acted unprofessionally to use my disabilities to confuse me to accept.   

Third, the EAT is highly efficient. It has one of the best-run case management and progression systems I have experienced, despite being still largely paper based (rather than digital – though that will change). Staff are experienced and knowledgeable through long service and hard work, so appeal bundles are properly prepared and made available to judges well in advance. Mervelee Myers Analysis 2019: I am challenging this argument of highly efficient to be a big lie. As big a lie as Judge Free saying there were no other Medical Reports. After I handed him copies from my bundle at the ET to be place in the Respondent bundle. I am therefore referring readers to data.access@justice.gsi.gov.uk about why the ET concealed documents. And refused to act on concerns raised about the non-compliance of Judge Baron Court Management Order of 15th March 2016. And even of greater importance that of Judge Elliott of 8th June 2016. For me to provide Medical Reports. The Medical Reports which I handed to Judge Freer at the ET because they were deliberately left out of my ET bundle to confuse me. Once again using my vulnerability of having disability, physical and mental against me. But Judge Freer can lie in the reserve judgment about there were no other Medical Reports. And now the EAT claiming they deal with the fact.   

Finally, there is a strong sense of collegiality among the judges who sit at the EAT. A sandwich lunch in the judges’ common room is a good place to find out what is happening elsewhere in the justice system, share war stories or simply unwind after a difficult morning. Mervelee Myers Analysis 2019: I find this statement very offensive after Judge Shanks claims at the EAT on the 19th November 2018 that I made up my disabilities. In the presence of my husband for whom I am his carer. But most times he is the one caring for me as can be ascertained from www.slam-iapt.nhs.uk/southwark. As offensive as the EAT bringing a black man to sit on the Panel because my Racism claims was strike out repeatedly by Judge Martin. Maybe the judges need to take more times looking at the glaring evidence in my Witness Statement and the ET bundles to see how LEYF breached the Equality Act 2010 “Protected Characteristics”, by not adhering to the Rule of Law. There was no reviewing or updating of the contract I signed. I was expected to have a Hypo on the job and subject children to experiences of developing traumas like I did because of my unfortunate childhood of illnesses, disabilities and death. Maybe I should refer to the www.express.co.uk that I have contributed to the Mental Health CRUSADE at express@letters.co.uk for years.  

What do you think are some of the biggest challenges for employment lawyers going forward?

Digitalisation of the court and tribunal service; and Brexit. But I have great faith in employment lawyers who are versatile and flexible. I predict they will continue to go from strength to strength. Mervelee Myers Analysis 2019: I am challenging this on the grounds that this is the second time the ET presided over the miscarriage of justice that ruined my career and destroyed my life. Employment Lawyers who I have the misfortune to deal with are criminals without any scruples. After the Subject Access Request – Data Protection Act – 117119. I have been directed to https://www.gov/government/publications/record-retention-and-disposition-schedules. Because the Employment Tribunal at London South no longer holds the personal data in respect of my case against Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. What does that say about the Windrush Generation stories and what the Jewish Bank Manager said to my husband all those years ago? The EAT refused to give me back documents I ask for. In my vulnerable state I prepared and submitted 6 sets of documents in 2 bundles. But I have yet to receive the documents I requested. That’s on top of LEYF saying they have no data for me after withholding my FILE. The ET take 5 months to copy and paste the Respondent Summary and post online making me a target for terrorists like www.peachespublications.co.uk who I am taking to the Small Claims Court. She in turn introduce me to https://www.ryanclement.com/. I am waiting on the judgement from the www.sra.org.uk that claim it’s okay for www.bwbllp.com to breach the Equality Act 2010 and use my vulnerability against me. Mr John Fenton of www.personalconsultancy.com can get away with pretending to be a solicitor to exploit me as well. The ET was notified of my concerns from I meet Mr Fenton on the 15/3/2016.

What drew you to employment as an area of law?

Employment law combines human interest with an ever-expanding domestic statutory law base, overlaid by the common law, and by judgments and directives from Europe. This fast-changing area often gives rise to difficult legal questions that matter to many people, and mattered to me. After one’s family and home, a person’s employment is usually the most important thing in her life. The introduction of the Human Rights Act in 1998 gave rise to additional interest and difficulty. It has presented challenging cases requiring a difficult balance to be struck between, for example, the rights to freedom of religious belief/manifestation for one group and those to freedom from unlawful discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation for another group; and particularly difficult issues around the balance between open justice and freedom of expression, and privacy in cases of sexual misconduct.

I am participant in research www.heal-d.co.uk and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pg102uOLUAY. The ET should have added Ageism, Beliefs to the case instead of striking out the Racism claims. Most days to save myself from going out for the 20-30 minutes’ walk down to BIB and doing what my brother did. I have to try overcoming my fears and sit writing https://mervelee.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/? How dare Justice Simler leave me to be a prisoner unable to function and carry out day-today activities. Because the 26+ years that were destroyed keeps going round in my head.         

How have tribunals changed since the Supreme Court ruled in favour of abolishing tribunal fees last year?

The system has not changed but the profile of cases being brought to employment tribunals has changed dramatically. Whereas before the Unison case, small claims for unpaid wages or redundancy pay (or similar) were not being brought because of the chilling effect of fees, these cases are now on the increase again. Claims more generally have increased in number and are running at an annual rate approaching 100,000 claims a year. The number of appeals is also increasing, though there is an inevitable time lag. Tribunals are putting additional resource in place to deal with the increase, but that will take some time. That is likely to mean some delay in getting a hearing date, especially in multiday cases. Mervelee Myers Analysis 2019: Maybe this is why the ET took 5 months to copy and paste the Respondent’s Summary? By the way did any underhand dealings take place with www.leyf.org.uk and the Employment Tribunal? Considering the fact that the ET adjourned the case when Samantha Rochelle Jones of www.7br.co.uk came to court without preparing a case. Then pulled a sickie, manufacturing a contagious disease overnight to buy time, I am left with no other alternatives than to assume there was bribery. What role did the ET judges have in this? Then at the EAT Samantha Jones was allowed to continue perverting the course of justice. And judge Shanks saying I made up my disabilities. My question to Justice Simler, since the ET and EAT claiming they deal with the fact, what grounds did she send back my case to the EAT under?

Appointment of Lady Justice Ingrid Simler

The Queen has approved the appointment of three Lady Justices and four Lord Justices of Appeal, one of whom is the current President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, Dame Ingrid Simler.

Dame Ingrid was born in South Africa and emigrated to London as a child. She was educated at a grammar school in North London, becoming a British citizen in 1981.

She was called to the bar at Inner Temple in 1987 and was appointed Queen’s Counsel in 2006. She was appointed a Recorder in 2002 and has been a judge of the High Court of Justice (Queen’s Bench Division) since 2013.

She is currently President of the Employment Appeal Tribunal and is a High Court Liaison Judge for Diversity. In November 2016 she was appointed by the Master of the Rolls to the Civil Executive Team providing support to the MR for the oversight of civil justice and implementation of the Reform Programme as it affects civil justice.

Dame Ingrid is recognised for her expertise across a range of areas including employment law, tax litigation, public and administrative law, and human rights.

When may an employer suspend an employee?

9 March 2019 Mervelee Myers Summary of Justice Ingrid Ann Simler.  From my own experiences of been in the presence of Justice Simler, to argue my case. I would say she is not living in the real world and knowing what’s happening to real people like Mervelee Myers. Considering that she was born in South Africa I am assuming she was one of the privileged. And not someone like me who experienced traumas resulting from the natural causes, some of which were due to my DNA. Whilst others were due to bigots and evil persons who did not think of the consequences of their actions on the lives of people like me.

Mervelee Myers Analysis 8/3/2019: Find out more about me at https://www.google.com for why I am writing this and sharing with the world after spending the past 5 years leading up to my 60th birthday struggling with the discrimination from 2004 which ruined my career and blighted my life. I thought I would die before my 56th birthday as a result of the discrimination used by  www.leyf.org.uk to trigger my traumas into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). I should be resting, but unable to because coming up to Mothering Sunday, I am fighting depression again.

I will be sending this out to as many news agencies with the hope that at least one will listen to my plight as was done in 2004 by the South London Press. The South London Press was the only newspaper that give me a chance to let my voice be heard then.

I am not doing this for money, but to clear my name after once more the Employment Tribunal presided over another miscarriage of justice that ruined my career and destroyed the 26+ years that I built for myself in the UK. I am now a prisoner in my own home and the victim of https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 hate crime filled reserved judgement.     

I am in a position to make contributions from my lived experiences to help provide a support network to help others like myself. I consider myself to be an expert authority on subjects from cradle to the grave. But I will need the support from the experts in their fields to help me get the stories told on the platforms where others can benefit. There are forces that are trying to make me a voiceless vulnerable in addition by the victim status they assigned to me www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk.

Here is how I have been gagged to stop me exposing the Modern Slavery thriving in the UK

  1. After raising concerns about the impact on my mental health of discrimination on the eve of Mothering Sunday 2015, I was sent to another site with the hope of getting me to act unprofessionally. I tried taking out https://petition.parliament.uk/help#standards but was rejected. With it was marked confidential. Not clear what action you’d like the Government or Parliament to take. Is it any wonder there is an epedemic of social unrest at every echeleons of society?
  2. When this did not materialise, I was sent on Medical Suspension www.healthmanltd.com.
  3. My data was tampered with from the time I was sent Invitation to Disciplinary.
  4. I was passed fit to go back to work. Refer to the reviews on www.leyf.org.uk by one of the former employees involved in making allegations leading to my Medical Suspension.
  5. After receiving the CEO Long Service Awards in October 2014, I was Disciplined and labelled uncooperative, unprofessional, rude, intimidating, confrontational, aggressive, and lacking empathy. Refer to www.slam-iapt.nhs/southwark.
  6. I was advised to get Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). Refer to data.access@justice.gsi.gov.uk about me raising concerns to the ET about LEYF. And https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/record-retention-and-disposition-schedules re the first ET case.
  7. I have exhausted the Employment Appeal Tribunal and been stitched up like a turkey after the ET acted perversely in concealing my Medical Reports. Refer to http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/employment/claims/responding.
  8. The EAT continued with the perversity when the judge allowed the Barrister www.7br.co.uk to continue perverting the course of justice saying the ET sent me home overnight to search for Medical Reports.
  9. This was after she got the ET adjourned by manufacturing a contagious disease overnight. Because she did not prepare the case. It was left to John Fenton of www.personnelconsultancy.com to breach the Employment Law and pretending to be a solicitor.
  10. The above name EAT President reluctantly sent my case to the EAT, with caveats attached to cover up the perversity of the London South ET presiding over another miscarriage of justice to the EAT@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk. I am been penalised for taking a stance when the EAT judge said I made up my disabilities.
  11. Some days my husband is the carer as I am unable to function carrying out normal day-to-day activities. Refer to www.gov.uk/universalcredit that have the audacity to threaten me with criminal record.
  12. But the Solicitors Regulation Authority www.sra.org.uk said the Respondent Representative who acted throughout as a solicitor was right to use my mental health issues against me.
  13. I used the Subject Access Request – Data Protection Act – 117119 www.ico.org.uk to prove I raised concerns to the ET about the Respondent’s non-compliance of Court Management Case Order.

Getting support from the newspapers is my only option left to get the authorities that have drawn ranks to listen to me. I have been scammed because of the reserved judgment by www.peachespublications.co.uk. She is working with https://www.ryanclement.com/ who is hiding under the umbrella of the Judiciary Of England And Wales to exploit vulnerable people. The Police who did not respond to my concerns about verbal threats were sent to my home to section me. It took me 2 weeks to get http://www.actionfraud.police.uk/report-fraud-about-you to act. And even then they set out to cover for the unprofessional conducts of colleagues. have had threats of criminal record from the DWP. They denied me access to http://www.universal-credit.service.gov.uk/journal/add-journal-entry-write-content/SERVICE_ISSUES/ in breach of the GDPR. The list just goes on. Hopefully someone will come to my rescue.

 I won’t waste much time repeating myself and if anyone wants to know more about me, they are more than welcome to do the research at https://www.google.com. I have been making my life an “Open Book” in my quest to help in providing the “Support-Network” for others to feel comfortable about their own “Personal Challenges” that life may throw at us throughout this transitional journey, between birth and death.

Family Is Key To My Existence!

I am very much aware of my existence from a very early age and have a good memory about most things. However, there are information that I just can’t recall and I don’t know if that’s part of my survival instinct which have help me thus far?

My Mother Was Born To Serve

  1. Mother: My mother is/was Perline Louise Chambers-Nembhard. The most important information is the fact that I diagnosed her dementia, from hearing about her erratic behaviours. After gaining graduate status from accc-gen@open.ac.uk in 2009, before my 50th birthday. My biggest regret is/was not knowing much about mum until a few years before she passed way. I am happiest about the fact that after spending four (4) weeks with mum whilst attending my son’s wedding. She had no memory of her only daughter. But on the day I was leaving to return to the UK on the 22/01/2014, she came around long enough to tell my son “She did not come to say goodbye?” I went back and did the honours. I have every single trait for my mother that before I knew about her history I was afraid to be compared to her. But these days I am basking in my knowledge of the fact that she influenced me to be the person who I am. She taught me to be compassionate from the time I was born. I am left wishing I had known more about her before. I am even more steadfast in honouring my pledge of continuing the work of my father and brother in creating legacies. Otherwise my heritage will be lost and the future generation will not know about the pioneers who sacrificed their lives for us. I am leaving my footprints with the aid of www.ancestrydna.co.uk/.    
  2. Mum had one brother, Uncle Terah. His life was cut short by murders. That also impacted on my Grandma as she didn’t recover after his death. She died of a broken heart and other health complications two (2) years later.
  3. Mum had a Sister Clarice by her Father. She lived in Hanover.
  4. Mum’s mother, Granny Elsie always lived with us. But in her own house on the property.    

It Takes A Special Man To Be My Father

  1. Father:  Ivan Sandyman Nembhard walked from his birth parish of St Elizabeth to seek his fortune in Westmoreland. Where he met my mother and the rest is history. He is the person to whom every man has to measure up. A very important fact is because he was overruled about my name. He never ever called me by my “Pet Name of Ratty”. No need to wonder from whom I inherited certain of my traits then? Dad believed in “Family” and did his uttermost to instil those family values in us.
  2. I am not sure whether this was coincidence or not but my father and his younger brother experienced “Parkinson’s disease”. My Uncle Gridley was my favourite.
  3. My favourite Auntie Tilyn aka Icylyn Powell and dad share the same DOB – 27th October with another of my Uncle Sylvester.
  4. My Grandma Irene lived ten (10) years after dad. She buried a few of her children. I did not meet all of my dad’s siblings.
  5. There are three (3) Aunties still alive from my dad’s siblings.   
  6. Grandpa Charles had other children that were not for Grandma Irene.

I Am One Girl Amongst Seven Brothers                    

  1. Balis: Dad instructed him about taking over before dying.
  2. Youvonney (Sister died about age 5-6 years old)
  3. Dostan: A bit of a maverick, but a softie at heart.
  4. Byron: Done much to change the outcome of his life. He was talented in many ways. His life was cut short aged 56 by colon cancer. The year I experienced the first nervous breakdown in a toxic workplace in the UK. (Refer to www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers).
  5. Texchus: Suffice it to say he was our parents and grandma’s favourite. I helped him when he went to take his examination for the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
  6. Ashter: He packed so much into his short life. His legacy will remain forever. He laid foundations and make dreams become visions of realities for my family.

  9. Ervin: Lives in the USA with his family. His has a disabled son Jevon living in Jamaica.  

The Role and Responsibilities of Being an Only Girl

  1. I guess I became an informal carer from an early age from the time my youngest sibling was born in November 1966.
  2. My Grandma made sure I was taught how to be of use around the home as well. Resulting from the way she conducted herself there is no chance of me not doing my fair share. I am more than thankful for everyone who helped with my transitional developments over the years. I went through phases of resentment, whilst growing up. But I am proud of my upbringing.
  3. There are only few changes I would make to my life if I was to live it all over again. 
  4. As well as helping to care for my 2 younger siblings, I had additional responsibilities around the home. I must confess that there were times when I resented being an only girl. Because of what I was expected to be doing. But on reflections this would turn out to be the making of my character. To be able to face up to the challenges, later in life.
  5. I am proud of my upbringing resulting from being brought up in a Christian home environment. Where the foundations were laid for my future. 96

The Impact of Unforeseen Challenges

  1. My life changed dramatically when my dad was stricken with Parkinson’s disease. I am still recovering from the traumas that were the result of years of dealing with one adversity or another. Ranging from illnesses, death and living a life of poverty.
  2. The biggest “Personal Challenges” was the fact that I did not reach my potential and struggled throughout my life because of lack of knowledge.   

The Communities That Are Raising Children Like Mervelee Ratty Nembhard

  1. It was early in life that I knew I was different for a variety of reasons. One of which was the poverty of my family resulting from dad’s illnesses.
  2. Being an only girl did not help much as I felt isolated and excluded.
  3. But I did the next best thing and acted like the boys. I was a proper “Tom Boy”.

The People Who Were The Early Influencers In My Life

In no particular orders excepting how the influencers supported me to never see giving up as an option is as follows:

  1. My Primary School Grade 1 or 2 Teacher, Ms Una Perry. She taught me how to develop my resilience. And how to make do with what I have got. Later you will understand how the guidance I was given served me to this time when I am being challenged and pushed to the edge. Ms Una is living in the UK and I was lucky to meet up with her at the airport whilst traveling back from Jamaica. I have since seen her a few times in the localities in London. We speak on the phone sometimes. But I have been so taken up with what www.leyf.org.uk have done to me since the death of my mother. It’s just one thing or another these past 5 years.
  2. There were three (3) special friends at Primary School. Two (2) of us remain friends for life after one (1) joined her parents in the UK. Just after finishing Primary School.
  3. By the time I reached Grade 5, I was to have another encounter with a Teacher, Ms Bovel Ackbersingh. She help me develop the self-confidence to know that I can top the class if I set my mind to achieving what I set out to do. Sadly she died suddenly a few weeks ago. I done my usual and write a tribute about the contributions she made to my life and that of my sons.
  4. There were others, both male and female who played major roles in my life. To help me find some sense of stability and a secure base to anchor when I was feeling alone.   

 I Was Shaped By My Early Lived Experiences

  1. I will have to make this brief as most of it is already documented in cyberspace. I need to get the story to arriving in the UK and how I managed to make the most of my opportunities. Especially during studies with www.open.ac.uk/ceremonies.

Moving To The UK in June 1992

I have to give thanks to my first husband Mr Malachi Myers for the opportunity I was given.

  1. Although our union ended in divorce, the eight (8) years saw me becoming a part of his extended family. Starting with his mother, Mrs Olive Brown Tingling. To his children and grandchildren and their family.
  2. If there is one legacy I would gifted to anyone from our times together is this. “If a person has done you one (1) good. Take the one good and cover the ninety-nine (99) bad”.
  3. I was carer for my Ex-Husband’s mum. That’s why I was delighted when I attended the funeral with my step-son and walked by her Headstone. I was only aware because I am an observant person.
  4. I used to be there for my husband’s children and their friends.
  5. I make it my business to remember my duties to my family in Jamaica.   

Encouraging My Younger Brother To Attend Teacher’s College

  1. I recognise that my younger brother needed a solid foundation as a career base. Luckily I did, because he was overqualified and struggling to find employment. But that’s nothing new for my family, if you should check our history.
  2. I have help said bother with his Citizenship fee in the USA.
  3. Helped him to get on the “Property Ladder” because I had gotten fed up of the discrimination here in the UK. And intended to move to the USA – refer to https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/record-retention-and-disposition-schedules.
  4. I experienced the first nervous breakdown in a toxic workplace after the death of my brother with colon cancer in 2008.
  5. I have been facing blacklisting and networking since – refer to http://unison.org.uk and www.ofsted.gov.uk and Southwark Council sen@southwark.gov.uk as they colluded to discriminate against me. Ruining my promising career in the Early Years Sector.  

Leaving My Footprints In Communities Of Practice In The UK

Social Media Platforms 2009 – 2019

  1. Facebook February 2010: I started building communities across https://www.facebook.com/public/Mervelee-Myers sharing news across Continents. You would not believe I am the same person being treated like a leper. So I have left all the trolls, naysayers, terrorists and those who are not comfortable with my “Personal Challenges”. I am now focusing on creating the legacies.
  2. LinkedIn 2012: I joined https://www.linkedin.com after the CEO of www.leyf.org.uk invited staff to make contributions to her blog. I joined and add others who were reluctant to do so. I can recall the troubles I had settling in as I was barred from joining in some activities. That’s why I am not taking up their offer. It’s even worse when I was excluded from www.nurseryworld.co.uk FORUM for challenging discrimination. Therefore I know when to tread on tip toes around some people. But my contributions are in cyberspace, hopefully and they can’t erase them?
  3. Twitter 2014: I was just joining Social Media for want of something to do in the beginning. Then at Mrs Gloria Cameron’s Book Signing in 2016 or 2017 I heard someone, Former Councillor of Lambeth Lorna Campbell mentioned that you could get notice about your concerns by sharing on https://twitter.com/rattynem. I am making the most of using Social Media to share my stories.

Meeting My Partner Via An Introduction By Default In 2001

My life was never east from the time my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease and my existence from then turned upside down. My experiences from then led to the changes that were to impact on the outcomes for the rest of my life. I was left a bewildered and lonely girl wondering why the God my dad brought me up to believe in could be so cruel. So I began to rebel about my Christian upbringing by spiting my dad. However, once you are brought up with certain principles it’s very hard to understand the whys. To cut a long story short because I am putting my stories out there to help others. I experienced trauma during puberty and that was to set the tone for my existence. I know I was loved, but always doubted myself. I regressed from this Tom Boy who was no different from my bothers to a girl who was unsure of my identity. I suffered for the rest of my life without knowing why I was different.

The Benefits Of Counselling

I only discovered why I was different after counselling which came about after another nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. This was after experiencing bereavement and loss all in the space of six (6) months. I spent four (4) weeks with my mum, when I had to come to terms with the fact that dementia had taken her away from me. The same way how I’d lost my dad to Parkinson’s disease. Once more I was treated dismally by those I had given some of the best years of my life, building their brand. In trying to deny me my entitlement I was advised by www.healthmanltd.com to seek Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to find out why I react the way I do to certain situations. The rest is history as www.slam-iapt.nhs.uk/southwark is testament that the NHS redeemed themselves.

Family:

  1. Informal Carer: From the age of seven (7) years old after the birth of my youngest siblings. That’s why I am a graduate of the Open University and Member of www.aoug.org.uk/awards since May 2009.
  2. Responsibilities of an Only Girl: Getting on with the job of being an only girl – I am grateful for the experiences. But resented having to be doing the work at the time. In hindsight I am the benefactor. That’s why I will go to my grave challenging discrimination at every levels.   3. Christian Values and Beliefs: I am thankful for the way I was brought up by my parents. This led me to be the person who I have become. Despite my “Personal Challenges” I will always remember to help anyone in need of my kindness and generosity.

Becoming a Mother

I am the type of mother that I am because of my own personal experiences. I chose not to have more children other that the two (2) who I did not plan for. As a result of the impacts of Parkinson’s disease in my family.   

  1. My sons were given the best opportunities that I never had from the time they were born
  2. This became even more of a reality when I got the opportunity to come to the UK
  3. That’s why I will always be thankful to my first husband for affording me the opportunities that were given.
  4. Both my sons have done well for themselves
  5. I refuse to allow people to take away from my contributions to my son’s life from the time they were born to where they are in their lives.
  6. I am primarily responsible for making them who they are.
  7. I have been responsible for nurturing other members of my family in a variety of ways inclusive of the “Capitals of Financial Support”.
  8. No one can repay me for what I have done for them
  9. That’s why these days I am keeping away from toxic family members for whom I have clearly become an embarrassment.
  10. My parents did prepare me for this kind of treatment. Therefore I am not surprised – www.sra.org.uk.    

Making Contributions In Communities of Practices

  1. I help to provide care for my husband’s mum especially throughout the later stages of her life. I was delighted to find her tomb when attending a funeral recently. I was wearing the same dress to the funeral that I’d worn to hers. But what made the occasion so poignant was the fact I was with my stepson – www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers. And this brings back memories of the time my mum visited me in the UK in 1999.
  2. I graduated from Lambeth College in 1999 and started my first job in the Early Years Sector out of college. So far www.leyf.org.uk to claim that they have no data of me when my CVs are in cyberspace is a mystery.

  4. Because of the discrimination experienced in the UK, I live to see some of those I mentored at Lambeth College and William Wilberforce progress in their career. Thinking I’d Find the Ideal Workplace for Retirement

 My experiences of facing direct at indirect discrimination started when others began to view my passion to enhance knowledge to help me in breaking down barriers as threats to their incompetence. I am therefore left with the aftermath of representing myself at two (2) Employment Tribunal when I experienced the miscarriages of justice that left me a prisoner in my own home. I am left dealing with the scars from my Hidden Disabilities. I have tried every available avenues to get justice. I am left with no other options than to try and use the Small Claims Court www.gov.uk and scmreferrals@hmcts.gsi.gov.uk to address the matter of getting compensation. From those involved in the terrorism that ruined my career and destroyed twenty-six (26+) years of my life in the UK.

 I informed the Senior HR of www.leyf.org.uk on the 27th March 2015 at the HOC about my traumatic experiences. I told her work keep me going. I also informed her that if I was an animal at BIB, the RSPCA would rescue me. Instead of being afforded the support I asked for. And the fact I was passed fit to for work, I was targeted until I have to resign with a nervous breakdown. I have been threatened with criminal record by www.gov.uk/universal credit. I have had www.peachespublications.co.uk sending the Police to my home to section me. After she colluded with https://www.ryanclement.com/ to scam me. After using my data in breach of the GDPR 2018 to publish a book in my name, Winsome Duncan is further defaming my name. She claims that I am/was the owner of her business MPLOYME t www.mployme.org. But how can anyone be so stupid after appearing in www.quidsinmagazine.com as the owner?

That leaves me with what was done when LEYF tampered with my data from they sent me invitation to Disciplinary. And how www.voicetheunion.org.uk colluded to discriminate. But not only that my email address was used for online DBS application to www.disclosure.gov.uk. I can’t live in peace in my own home as a result of the direct and indirect discrimination by everyone who think they are entitled to make my life a living hell because of the Judiciary Of England And Wales decision to let terrorist from www.7br.co.uk and cohorts get away with hate crime.

My Tribute to Dudley Dacosta Tomlinson and the Tomlinson Family originating from Beaston Spring, Thornhill, Bluefields and surroundings of Westmoreland, Jamaica West Indies. I am privilege to be a member of Dudley’s family by marriage. After attending the funeral, I have to make sure I do a bit of editing in celebration of Arnold Ebenezer Tomlinson. Because it’s time we do more to document the contributions that each individual make to the life of others. Without capturing the legacies and archiving, the future generations will be shortchanged about their history. And will be at the mercies of those who are ready to brainwash us. Written on the 24th of January 2019. Edited on the 3rd March 2019 to honour Tom’s 96th birthday on the 8th March 2019.  

Updates 3/3/2019: This was written in retrospect. Now the funeral has come and gone, I am using it to share information about how I am developing my skills for my website https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site. Today we are gathered here, on what I consider to be the most solemn of occasion to share our poignant memories of Dudley Tomlinson. He is/was my husband’s nephew and I was more than honoured to be called Auntie from the first time of making his acquaintance. That meant more than anything else in the world to me. Because for me that’s acceptance into the Tomlinson Family unit. I am trying to take this opportunity, using this as a time of celebration of the Tomlinson family, in life and death. This is my way of creating legacies about the contributions made by the Tomlinson family to Great Britain. Because although we are in mourning for our dearly departed Dudley, we have to keep our memories of the fact.

We have to acknowledge in our presence, Dudley’s uncle, Arnold Ebenezer Tomlinson. Without him, there would be no branch of the Tomlinson Family Tree in the United Kingdom. Because of his ambition to make life in the UK, he was once told “Mr Tomlinson, you have a small illusion of one day developing as a property tycoon”? I was introduced to this proud and private man by default. That’s all you need to know about Mervelee Myers at the moment. Except to say that God brings people in our lives at different phases of our transitions for a purpose. We have made it thus far with God’s blessings and guidance. I must point out, however, that the Superman I meet in 2001 is only a man as the Super is no longer attached. And one day like Dudley, we will say our final goodbyes. But at the moment let’s give thanks for what’s been bestowed on us. Updates: That’s why www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk better hurry up with sorting out the mess created by them.

The Employment Tribunal Services has not been negligent once, but twice as http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/employment/claims/responding sat back on their laurels and allow the discrimination that destroyed 26+ years of my life in the UK to take place. During the time we have been together, I have come to know some of Tom’s family. Here in the UK, in Jamaica and in contact with others across the world via different means of communication. There is a character trait that is part of the Tomlinson’s DNA that can’t be missed. I call it “Wicked Sense Of Humour” that I identified in Dudley’s uncles, his clans, cousins and extended family. However, let me keep the focus on Dudley and Tom as the main characters in this story. Tom is a very private person and you won’t get much out of him. But like all human beings, delight in sharing what’s important to them/us. That’s how I come to learn a little of Dudley’s history. Dudley’s dad died and Tom’s dad asked him to take Dudley under his wings.

Updates: The Tomlison family is also responsible for rewriting history as members of the Windrush Generation. I am representing at www.itv.com on the 22nd June 2018 celebrating Windrush 70 at Westminster Abbey. Therefore, it’s only natural that when Tom traveled to the Mother Country, his priority was giving Dudley the opportunity to come to the UK. As soon as he was settled he got Dudley to come and join him. Despite Dudley and Tom sharing some qualities of the Tomlinson family, he was certainly not private. He was just this happy go lucky person who wanted everyone to live life. Dudley and Tom shared this close relationship between uncle and nephew. But he was also the father figure as well. The bond they shared was reciprocal. Dudley was proud as well as protective of his uncle, and always ready to tell me about Tom’s virtues and qualities whenever we meet.

I only knew Tom’s first wife was called Iris because Dudley told me. Updates: I must point out here about the links in the Tomlinson’s family with diabetes. This is important information for us from the Caribbean. I am doing my best to support others by participating in www.heal-d.co.uk. Unfortunately, for the Government, they claim at https://petition.parliament.uk/help#standards that it was not clear what action you’d like the Government or Parliament to take in the case of www.leyf.org.uk outright Modern Slavery practices in breach of the Rule of Law. Whenever Tom had the misfortune of going into a hypo, I was Iris. Later transpires, she was Iris Myers, coincidence or what?  Yes, Dudley and I had this relationship that was one of respect, because his uncle brought me into the Tomlinson family.

Updates: If you check my internet footprints at https://www.google.com, you will find that I have been creating legacies and linking communities across the globe. Until https://www.facebook.com decided to join in with the terrorist cell that’s been radicalising me. Using my vulnerability of having disabilities against me. I loved when Dudley visited and they talked about the old days back in Jamaica and earlier times in the UK. Another thing that I like about Dudley was the carefree way he looked at life. Of courses, life brings challenges and adversities and Dudley did have disabilities. But at no time did he let them define his outlook on life. He enjoyed his life to the maximum, and if that includes engaging in his pleasures, he was entitled to be happy. I am sure he is gone and not have many, regrets about living life as he always encourages me.

I was privileged to be in attendance at Victor’s wedding where I meet extended families. The thing that resonated with me the most was hearing how much Tom was revered by his family. That has got to be from the legacies that Dudley was creating for his family, for his uncle. I have heard the snippet of stories here, there and everywhere. But I began taking stock when Tom’s brother, Percy died in the USA. And Hyacinth, his wife was calling to get information about her husband from Tom. If you know Tom, then you will know what I am going to say next? He was not interested when I said to him, so when you die, who am I going to call? I have to put my foot down to get the information that I needed. Since I am doing my Family Tree, www.ancestrydna.co.uk/faq. I have come across more data about the Tomlinson Family if anyone is interested.

Updates: I am perked up and wanting to know more. Because some of my family come out of Beaston Spring. I have chosen to make my life an Open Book on Social Media platforms to help others. However, this is becoming much of a bugbear for some who are thinking they have exclusive rights to make my life a living hell. This is not good for my Mental Health and I realise after www.slam-iapt.nhs.uk/southwark to keep away from the toxicity that can exacerbate my disabilities. I am writing this from memory of the times I engage with Dudley. There was a gathering of the Tomlinson Clans at my home for Tom’s 90th birthday. Of course, Dudley was the star of the show alongside his uncle.

Another significant event was at Dudley’s birthday party at his home. He was the DJ pumping out the hits and we were all having a good time. Updates: I was diagnosed with diabetes in March 2012. I used www.desmond-project.org.uk in partnership with the NHS Professionals to manage and control my progressive health conditions. Dudley was diabetic along with having other health conditions, but that was not going to stop him enjoying life. So, what if he was sweet or feeling tipsy? It was his birthday and everyone is entitled to some fun. We are going to have some fun before we are old, is a song in my head when I think of Dudley. After that life was never the same for Dudley. The last time Michael took Dudley to visit his uncle, he was a shadow of his former self. Sickness had taken a toll on him.

But Dudley never lost that glint in his eyes. He continued cracking jokes and encouraging me/us to live life to the full. The last time I heard his voice was when Michael was talking to me on Christmas Day. I could hear him in the background, sounding like his jovial self. Later Tom said to me his voice is so strong. He said he is coming out of the hospital on Wednesday. I said to Tom that’s his way of coping with what’s happening to him. We have to believe in something. Trevor was in contact with Dudley’s family with the intention to go see him on Friday. This fall through and we were planning to visit him the following week.

I came in from church on Sunday and I am into my routine of asking Tom if anyone called. When he said Michael called about Dudley, I could hear the anguish in his voice. Like Dudley was fond of using his mantra advising us to live life to the full, I tell Tom to prepare for the worse. I have been there many times throughout my life, so I know what to expect. I am glad that Tom and Dudley get to say their final goodbyes. Because this did not happen with Lansford and Egbert and I felt his pain when he was not able to attend Percy’s funeral.   

I will end by saying to the family that it’s normal to experience all the emotions they are going through when we lose our loved ones. But whilst we are mourning, let’s celebrate. Because I know without a shadow of a doubt that Dudley would expect us to do our weeping and mourning and get back to living life to the full. Each time he visited, he would encourage me to live life. So in mourning, we will celebrate. Dudley will be remembered for many things by those of us whose lives he touched. He has had an impact on our lives and influenced us in many ways.

Sleep on Dudley and take your rest. We will meet in the Sweet By and Bye? Your legacies will remain with us, until the end of time. Updates: I will end this by saying what I learned by attending Dudley’s funeral with those who loved him best. I realise even more about that strong bond between Dudley and his uncle Arnold. Now I can understand why he was stressing up until the time I got his son Trevor to reassure him. I am hoping Tom can find the courage to reveal more, but whatever happens, I will respect his wishes to the end. Thanks, folks for the compliments about the singing.
