Summary of Complaint Background
1. This complaint arises out of a #claim before the London South Employment Tribunal (“The Tribunal”) in Croydon and the subsequent appeal to the Employment Appeal Tribunal. Ms Mervelee Ratty NembhardMyers #commenced the proceedings in the Tribunals against her ex-employers LEYF Nurseries #LEYF.
2. Throughout the #litigation, the Respondent (the London Early Years Foundation) was represented by a Mr. #Fenton, who is #described as a “consultant” on tribunal papers. When the matter reached the final hearing the Respondent instructed #solicitors who instructed Ms Jones, the subject of this complaint. 1. 3. Ms Myers first met Ms Jones on the first day of the hearing on 20 December 2016.
Complaint – Ms Myers complained that Ms Jones:
4. On 20 December 2016, in Croydon, pretended to be unwell to get the hearing adjourned and stated that she had not prepared the case; and
5. On 18 October 2018 lied to the Employment Appeal Tribunal about Ms Myers medical #reports that were omitted from ET and EAT bundles.
