I am a married woman so the romance will have to be on ice, until… But there is an old fashioned values call #courting if anyone is interested in inviting me on the adventure? My friend Chester Pinder and his Missis, going to Southafrica for holidays. Wishing I have her money and freedom.

My Bajan friend Mr Chester Pinder. He can always put a smile on my face. He allows me to be whatever I want to be when I am indisposable. Guess it comes with the way you were brought up. Level of education and your experiences along with everything life throws at you. He was born in Barbados. Served in the Army, work in the Civil Service and was a Magistrates. Meet him 10 years at a 50th birthday party and we will be friends for life. Thanks Chester for the unconditional #LOVE

A happy festive season to each and everyone that I have been privileged to meet, during my sojourn in the UK. As Ms Chickie Wedderburn would say. I have been rubbing shoulders with Rags, Shags and ShagaRagAsses for the past 25+ years. I have not changed from the Young Woman who left Jamaica all those years ago to make use of the opportunities.

1 day away from the date MLBOJ arrived just b4 Christmas in 1979…! God alone knows where the years have gone to so quickly…? Have so many things planned to celebrate, but nutn going to plan…! Hopefully I get hold of those pics I was promised by my Manager & colleagues to share showing that I am aging Gracefully. Well Time is the Master & I just have to do as it Dictates? I am more than grateful to God for how my Life & those of my Sons are on course…? I was a gem slip of a Girl with many Doubts about the Future, but I have come a long way & being Blessed by the Almighty I am praying? The only thing I am missing are some of those Early Photos of my Cute Little Baby Boy that have gone Missing & are Irreplaceable!

As a budding, upcoming, photographer & soon to be WRITER of my Family & JA history. I come up with many plans in my Brain that never got off the ground… Mostly due of course to my own Limitations at not possessing certain skills in some departments. Well I know for a fact that I inherited some of my Papa’s Visions. B4 day this morning I had the strangest of dreams & it involved 1 person from my district. This Family had the shop across the road from this 1. We were at a Big gathering & this Lady whom I know & she was my HD was sat beside a Young Man whom I did not know…? But the strangest thing is this Lady have no memory of who I am. Nothing new here still because I have actually grown out some of the persons I haven’t seen in ages. Especially when I am in 1 of my many disguises that my Papa called the “Devil’s Armour!” So 1 day I hope to finish what I have started & document the story of this particular building & the roles the owners played in starting a Social Enterprise to bring the Communities together. Tek me out of JA & TOWNHEAD in particular, but U can’t rid me of my Culture & Heritage?

Here is the BIB Christmas Staff Party that I didn’t know at the time what LEYF Nurseries planned for me. I thought the Banana Eating Incident in October was a one off. Then I got the exchange of documents and everything was in black and white.
So is the Employment Tribunal Law representatiive of a vulnerable person who have to face 2 miscarriages of justice whilst left alone to represent myself? Voice: the union for education professionals is still taking my fees and trying to stitch me up to resign my Membership. Then they say like UNISON that the matter is closed?

That’s why I am calling for an Inquiry into the Early Years Sector. The #EmploymentTribunals affirm the Discrimination and presided over another miscarriage of justice. Now LEYF Nurseries will have to account for the discrimination that destroyed my life and leave me battling Mental Health Conditions. Thanks to Alfred Taylor who meet me when I reach rock bottom and encourage me, I might not be on the road to recovery. I am now accepting myself for who I am.

Then my #Coach_WinsomeDuncan thinking she could get away with trying to get the Police and Ambulance services to finish off her terrorist attacks to MURDER me. Because I didn’t show up at her 40th Birthday party. Take me 2 weeks to get anyone to pay attention to my concerns. I am not a MAD CRIMINAL. I experienced Mental Health Conditions from the childhood traumas that LEYF Nurseries trigger into #POSTTRAUMATICSTRESSDISORDER after I get back from burying my MOTHER.

So #EmploymentTribunals go read the Medical Reports. They were Court Management Orders from the Judges. The same way my RACISM claims were strike out repeatedly.

Taurus: You long for stimulation but aren’t sure how to go about it. Put yourself in the hands of an adventurous person. Your best friend or partner will be happy to introduce you to new ideas and activities. Be as receptive as possible.
Can you see that everyone from the Astrologers to the Good Samaritan I meet on the road to Damascus know about my dire situation?
I lost my stimulation when LEYF Nurseries strip me of my dignity and become a Terrorist Cells at BIB, HOC and New Cross. This is despite me telling #DilysEpton that work keep me going because of my childhood traumas owing to many factors.
I know how to go about my stimulation, depending on what it is at any given time. I am a #WRITER, but what about other aspects? The Daily Express state socialising can help with disabilities like diabetes. But BIGOTS at the #EmploymentTribunals disregard the Medical Reports and a tell me FUCKERY about fact they deal with. But my Facebook have all the stimulation I get up to, to manage and control my Disabilities. There is one photo of me at Luton Street with my foot trying to reach above my head. I am still capable of doing it and my Physio was surprised. I can do other more adventurous activities, but you won’t see them on Social Media.
Oh, is there any Adventurous Friends out there interested in introducing me to new ideas and activities? Just remember I’m a mature married woman who is not into some of the new fangled activities people get pleasures from. As for telling me to take any part of my autonomy to send to you, don’t bother.
I am ready to be as receptive as possible with Mr AT approval. Ged it yet?
I’m on a roll, learning lessons from non other than Mr Mass George Son Malachi. My Father #IS_NEMBHARD was a Preacher, Storyteller and a 1 Woman Man. 2018 have got to be my year too with Mr AT from YARD, Westmoreland.

Thanks to all of the #supportnetwork who stood by me through thick and thin from the time I get back from burying my MOTHER. I have my Fight4justice campaign and at times I feel like giving up. There were times when because of the Mental and Physical Disabilities, I just wanted to stay with my head buried under the covers.
But because giving up was never an option, I always hang on in there. I know the truth will come out one day. But the stupid #WinsomeDuncan send the Police and Ambulance services to take me away from my vulnerable husband. That makes me more determined to get justice. Not only for myself but for my Tom. He has endure enough over the past years. He hasn’t done anything to deserve any of this.
Can anyone imagine what it done to me to see him cry. But it got to me the other day when he flip.
They won’t hear the last of this. LEYF Nurseries you hurt my #Husband you have to be accountable. The #EmploymentTribunals affirm the Discrimination and presided over another miscarriage of justice. My TOM was told “MR TOMLINSON YOU HAVE A SMALL ILLUSION THAT ONE DAY YOU CAN BECOME A PROPERTY TYCOON”? Now why do the UK have problems with people who are ambitious? Thanks to Mr SASK who I met on the Road to Damascus going the Blue in Bermondsey who talk some sense into my stubborn head. I am eternally grateful.

Everyday I learned something new about myself. So after counselling at the Maudsley Hospital, I realised that Mama experienced Mental Health Conditions. I’m hit like a ton of bricks about those days when Mama refuse to eat. There was nothing she could do. Am I too old for the Career Change? Was going to the JC, pass this Youngish Black Lady sat out by Nandos at E&C. She was chatting away & maybe to herself. Was wondering wat caused her to be in such a dire situation…!
On my way back she was leaning against the wall & a can of supn beside her. But I feel 4 her when I looked & saw the state she was in… She peed on herself! I know because I could see her clothes wet from the seat of her trousers/coat & running on the pavement b4 her.
I thought to myself, what a state to be in? I was wondering if she has Family & most importantly Children & is any1 concerned abt her Welfare! The world can be a mean place without any1 to be thinking & caring…
God I hope I don’t reach that stage in my life. I’d rather be DEAD. I recalled Mama’s final days when I was with her 4 my #2Son‘s wedding. How hard she’s tried to preserve her DIGNITY! We can only but hope & pray 4 the Best…?
My God is Merci-FULL even when I rant & rave about the cruel fate that sometimes tun us into SATAN Advocates!
I remember my elder breda Mass Balis in particular at this time. He was there 24/7 for Mama Lou. I recalled Ms Connie saying what he’d done 4 her. Ms Doreen was there every step of the way.
So will I allow some Ignorant Bitches/Bastards of the LowerEvilYallahFever category… Get away with Labelling me thus: Uncooperative, Unprofessional, Rude, Intimidating, Confrontational & LACKING EMPATHY… & They keeping on adding Agressive, etc, etc…

Haven’t been out & about since the start of the week, except to go get the Newspaper. So today I am going out>>> I will not allow dem fi get mi dung further than where they already push me. Out of a JOB, facing Homelessness & not knowing where my next meal coming from.

Creating Legacies With Memories
As I am thinking about what to include in my tribute, I am stuck by how much Social Media has changed since the time I joined Facebook in 2009. I remember signing up with my AOL account before changing to #BritishTelecom. That’s why I am vigilant that the #cyberbullies do not deny me my rights to be heard. I have been creating legacies for everyone who played and is playing important roles in my life. Whether to help me develop the #resilience to survive the storms or like Ms Turb, not to accept injustices without challenging the perpetrators.
I guess my first memory of Ms Turb, must go back to moving from near the Townhead Cross Road where I was born to GaGa Street in late 1963. And #proving my clumsiness didn’t happen overnight, my #memory is of how I got the #scar in my forehead that will last me to my grave come about. In my excitement discovering the new environment, I ran from where we lived, only to fall flat on my face and hit my head on a rock stone #protruding out of the ground at the entrance to the Street. Hopefully, this will give the younger generation an indication of the lifestyle we had growing up. I did not stay down, I got back up and despite not remembering much else. I have the scar in my forehead as reminder.

The Influencers
As a girl growing up in Jamaica, I guess there are/were people who are/were destined to play important roles in my life. Ms Turb was one of those persons who help to #influence me to be the #woman I am today. My reflections will be tinged with fond memories of a woman I #admire, for the reason we share much in common. We are women, who are #misunderstood for the fact we are #outspoken. And not prepared to conform to whatever norms others expect us to.
As far as my memories go back, Ms Turb’s home was open to me and anyone who needs a place to rest for a while and have a chat. I remember going there when it’s dinner time and everyone, scrambling for the utensils. The joke is/was if you are not quick enough, you must eat with your hands. Because the utensils put away for special occasions would not be used.

There were star apple and guinep trees in the yard at the front. Of course, during season, Ms Turb sold the items. But truth be told, more was given away than sold. Ms Turb’s #jokes should have been #copyright and #patent back then, so she can get #royalties even in death. Back in the days when Mass Diamond travelled to Farm Working, Ms Turb told some risqué jokes about how she maintained #fidelity in her #marriage. Anyone wanting to know more will have to sign up to GDPR training and the Royalties will go towards a Project in Honour of Ms Turb’s Legacies about Teaching Young People to Protect themselves from Discrimination.

Not Just An Ordinary Woman
Ms Turb was no ordinay woman, she was on the side of the underdog. I carried water from their yard as they were #privilege to have some of the comforts that I aspire to at the time. On becoming a woman my son Kevin Murray and Ms Turb’s granddaughter were born the same date. These of some of what we remember, especially if you are a writer like me. Before I forget, everyone is/was Ms Turb’s #cousin. You don’t necessarily have to know how it came about, but she could explain.
I recalled, she told me her mother came from the same District as Ms Connie. Amly D Nembhard and I used to joke Ms Turb cousin stop at Mama Lou and don’t reach us. But you can’t get away from Ms Turb Wicked Sense of Humour and Dry Wit.

Another thing is no one keep vex with Ms Turb for long, she would not allow it. She was that jovial kind of person, who speaks her mind, curse if she must and forget about it.
Wherever you live, it takes the village to raise the child. I recalled hearing that my sons Valdin Legister were hopping the cane carts to go swim at River. I warned them and when they did not take heed, I take matters in my own hands. I waited out by the Johnson’s for them and if you know Ms Turb any at all, you know this was just up her Street. When they arrive, I called them over, take my shoes and clobber VAL and he run off. That boy was always running away from everything from the time I used to take him to Dr Campbell, and he mentioned #Injection. But Kevin stands up, take his licks and walks away.

Getting Endorsed Is Not A Mean Feat
After they went, Ms Turb said “Ratty I think Kevin was going to hit you back?” But you are a good mother and your boys #respect you. I am proud of you and them mi daughter. For some reasons she calls you different name to suit the occasion. To have Ms Turb #endorsing my parenting skills is no mean feat. Sometimes I would go run jokes with her and Mass Diamond that I was going to marry Pam-Pam. I will leave you guessing about the jokes to spare your blushes.

Getting the opportunity via my sister Joy Mertie Bernard to come to travel to the UK, I didn’t have money to spare for a new suitcase. But Mass Diamond came to my rescue, when I told him my situation and sawder the clip back to the case. I was like a Brand-New Second-Hand Gal, and he didn’t #charge me a penny. If we are lucky, we will live to a ripe old age like Ms Turb. I admire the fact she was this #cheerful woman whom I knew from I was a little girl, until I became a mother and grandma.
Whenever I visit, she was playing dominoes with Mass Windsor and others and getting up to all kinds of #mischiefs. As the years went by and some of her friends departed, she never lost that kindred spirit of loving to be in the company of others. I would spend time with her, #comb her hair and letting her be the person I always knew she is/was. I was joining in with her jokes and sharing life in the community that’s home as I know it.
I recalled her daughter Toogoods asking me how her mum let me comb her hair and won’t let her? But the #trick is to ponder to the wishes of any older person who you are dealing with. Remember it’s not about our needs, but theirs. So, whenever I am with her, I #comply with her commands. There is no two ways about it.

One’s Upbringing Is Key To Our Values & Beliefs
The last time we spent any time together was after mum’s funeral. She came to visit when I was with VAL, who offered her some drinks from what was left over. Ms Turb showed us her #knife in her bag which she said was for her own protection. She told us her life story but hearing her version of the “Cornmeal & Rum Saga” was a revelation of who Ms Turb is/was as a person. That’s when it dawned on me not to underestimate a clever, determined woman. Because I have some of her traits in me and on reflections there’s no doubt that we are related.
On a more serious note, after sharing stories about her life, she went into other aspects of her upbringing. This time I had to ask her #permission to repeat the scripture so I could record it, I was that impressed by her. I have no memory whatsoever. The recording is on Social Media if anyone is interested as her LEGACY. As we celebrate, I want her Legacies to help us not to pigeonhole and judge others. Because in the time spent with Ms Turb in the presence of my son. I learned so much about this woman who is/was a legend and a treasure.

I am positive we take the people we know for granted, until there is a reason to view them in a different light and other circumstances that might cause us to examine our conscious and unconscious biases. Realising that Ms Turb was much deeper in her #spirituality than I thought. I could identify her weaknesses, but her strengths were more revealing of who she is/was. Our strengths and even our weaknesses help to make us unique. Listening to her talking about periods in her life, what struck me the most, was her need to go to Church to fellowship with others. For me her scripture passage is my testimony that she had a Christian Upbringing that she reverted to during time when she needs comforting and solace from a Supreme Deity. I want the last time we spent together to be my lasting memory of her.

Learning Lessons From The Stalwarts Who Are Legends
Ms Turb was a woman of #courage who stand firm for her beliefs. She was the loving person who tried giving of herself to make others happy. She didn’t think twice about sharing jokes at her own expense to make us laugh. Not much bothered her, either. She did not pretend to be someone she was not. Ms Turb went on before us, but her LEGACIES remain.

What Will Be Your Legacy?
Realising how much I am like the strong women from the generation who are now dying out, I am conscious of the fact that we are not aware of our history. Therefore, we are not able to create the legacies for the future generation. I was lucky my father was a Storyteller. But part of my history was lacking because my mother wasn’t much of a talker. I am thankful to my brother Balis and Ms Connie for filling the void and sharing mum’s stories, months before she died. Please start capturing the history of your family, otherwise there will be questions left unanswered.

thinking about my future.

The things they say… “Christmas is not only a season of rejoicing but of reflection” Winston Churchill (1874-1965)

Well nearly #37years on the #22ndDecember, I was blessed and had my Pre-Christmas rejoicing… Pretty soon it will be times of #Reflections for a life of #Experiences that have proved to shape me in the person I am becoming. I have been waiting on the directions from God all these years to go wherever I am led. It took the challenges, obstacles, constraints, limitations, etc placed in my ways to make me realise that I am an #Overcomer, and I was place on this earth for a purpose. Not only to do whatever pleases me, but to do the #WillofGOD.
The past #2years have not been the easiest of times. When I #Reflect on the last time I was involved in rejoicing as I #Narrated the BIB LEYF Nurseries Christmas Play in #December2014 I am filled with sadness… That’s why I am spending the next few days organising my Fight4justice campaign to reach those who need to know about the #Coverup in workplaces that are causing #MentalHealthConcerns!

God is pouring out blessing from many corners. I attended Donte’ graduation b4 I got back after #MamasFuneral. Then LEYF Nurseries decided they could destroy my life with #AllegationsNLies. My Fight4justice is in honour of my #Parents, #Children, #Grandchildren & the #Downtrodden!
I am not bothered about anyone withdrawing #Friendships, et al… They were always #Fake like what #LEYF became b4 I realised?

Told C at MH I started Ex. GOMP. I am going to take fotos to help… Took them along KING’S. 1 man asked if I wanted my Spider Plants, etc back. Hit me that I be taking my PLANTS every where! Then they tun mi out like a Criminal. They mistreated my MP same did to me & left to DIE… But I am a SURVIVOR. More Stories to back up the experiences 2003 – 2015 in the UK. My plants are at King’s, LS, BIB, NC & not to mention the amt I gave away. 1 lady mentioned abt our shared love of gardening & me teaching them abt ethos & DNA at SL.

Before Herbalife, I was very tired with very little energy and overweight. Thanks to my Herbalife nutrition program, I lost 26 lbs and dropped 6 dresses sizes. Who wants to join me this month and lose 20 lbs?

I have this old photo & I am sure my brother Balis Nembhard would like me to publish it in honour of Ms Bernice Henry b4 her funeral on Saturday? So on behalf of Balis, Doreen Forrester-Nembhard & all of the Fraternity of the Local Communities of Westmoreland I extend my heartfelt condolences to Ms Bernice’s Family near & far across the Globe. Ms Bernice has gone home to rest from her labours & toils – RIP!
