Sir Donald Burns Sangster was a Jamaican solicitor, politician and the second Prime Minister of Jamaica.
He served only 48 days.

He began his political career at the age of just 21 years old when he campaigned and won a seat in the St. Elizabeth Parochial Board ( Parish Council) on June 22, 1933. The youngest ever to enter politics.

-Sir Donald became a member of the House of Representatives (1949)

-Deputy Leader of the JLP (1950)

-Leader of the House from (1953 – 1955) then in 1962.

-Minister of Social Welfare from (1950 – 1953).

Minister of Finance from (1953 – 1955) when the JLP lost.

In 1962 when the JLP was returned to office he was appointed Minister of Finance, then Deputy Prime Minister.

At that point, a young Edward Seaga came on the scene and was elected Minister of Development and Culture.
That duo laid the foundations that has withstood turbulent periods of gross mismanagement under the PNP.

Sir Donald was appointed to act as Prime Minister, Minister of External Affairs and Minister of Defence in January 1965 after the illness of the Prime Minister Sir Alexander Bustamante.

Earlier, Mr. Sangster travelled extensively to many Conferences around the world to establish Jamaica as a brand in many countries.
New Zealand – 1950,
Ceylon – 1952,
Malaysia – 1963.

He was Jamaica’s representative on the West Indies Regional Economic Committee from (1950 – 1955)

-He was Leader of Jamaica’s delegations to the Commonwealth Economic Consultative Council Conferences in 1951, 1963-1966.

-He led Jamaica’s delegation to the World Bank and International Monetary Fund (IMF) meetings in Washington (1963-1966) which saw the country becoming members.

At that time he signed a one year Standby Agreement which expired without Jamaica borrowing one dollar.
This after massive infrastructural development was taking place with the construction of New Kingston, Sandy Gully and all the gullies around Kingston.

The PNP mocked and called the JLP ” Gully Government)
He had been a Governor of the World Bank and IMF since 1963.

-Sir Donald was a member of Jamaica’s delegation to the Heads of Commonwealth Caribbean conference in
Trinidad (1963)
Kingston (1964)
Guyana (1965)
Barbados (1966)

-He also led Jamaica’s delegation to the Canada-Commonwealth Caribbean Countries in July 1966.

Mr. Sangster accompanied Bustamante to the Commonwealth Prime Ministers’ Conference in London in 1962 and he attended this conference as Sir Alexander’s representative in 1964.

-He attended as Acting Prime Minister, the conferences in London in 1965, Lagos in 1966.

He was a member of the Joint Committee of Parliament, which framed the Constitution for Independent Jamaica.

-He was a member of the delegation that went to England in 1962 to discuss it with the British Government.

-He advocated for the development of the second airport in Montego Bay, which now carries his name.

It was he who presided over the Independence preparations and ceremonies in the National Stadium on August 5, 1962,

He presided over the official opening of the first Independence Parliament.

He presided over the choosing of our flag and National Anthem.

He was Minister of Finance during the wave of economic growth of the 1960s that started with his first Independence Budget in 1962.

After the victory of the JLP in the General Elections on February 21, 1967, and the resignation of Sir Alexander Bustamante, he was appointed Prime Minister on February 22, 1967.
By that time Sangster was worn out.
During the victory tour of the election, he made a brief stop at his home in St. Elizabeth.
Hartley Neita, his assistant and close confidante reported a family member saying..

“… Donald stopped here for a few minutes. He was not looking himself and we tried to persuade him to return to Kingston and take a well-earned rest.” That was not to be.
Unknown except by a few close friends and associates, he was a long-standing hypertension patient, and until then it was largely undertreated. The motorcade continued.
A few days later he retired to the military bungaloo ‘Bush Cottage’ at Newcastle to work on the 1967/68 budget.
A helper found him collapsed on the bathroom floor early Saturday morning. He was rushed down the hill to his official residence at Vale Royal, then taken to a Neurology Hospital in Canada.
. He took his last breath on April 11, 1967…five days as after being Knighted Sir.

The PNP, totally unaware Sir Donald suffered from Hypertension, launched a propaganda campaign that he was poisoned by members of his own party.

Why make a mountain out of a molehill? We are going to end up with some very #confused people in the future. I am proud of my #MultipleIdentities and #tolerance!
I remember once I was put in a bad light by an Ofsted Inspector who claimed I said there was only one girl, but she did not stop to listen to the rest of the sentence.
Are you telling me I must not describe myself as My Parents one girl?
I have my views on everything under the sun, but that don’t mean I will be spilling the beans about everything. I know I have to be sensitive to the needs of others.
That’s why LEYF Nurseries and the Employment tribunal will not hear the last of me. Everything from my Medical Reports to #LynneKelly statements will be going in the Public Domain. You can’t even have a banter without bigots using it to score millages and damage relationships and lives? Idiots.

Studied the Equality Act 2010, from the 27th March – 26th May 2015 when the #Advocate informed me that the Human Rights Act 1998 was breached. Since then the Data Protection Act 1998 has been breached by the #Establishment, #Systems & z #CROSSES. I will put names of the culprits in the public domain in due course as some believe they can get away with #MURDER, with friends in high places.
I have been forced to enhance my #CPPDP_Empower myself as a #WomanwithDISABILITIES that I managed to control from #10years old when my #Father was struck down with Parkinson’s & I experienced #TRUAMA. At no time throughout my time in the United Kingdom, was I on benefits because I used the opportunities I was offered to change my lifestyle to overcome the challenges and adversities preventing me achieving my potentials at schools.
After coming back from Jamaica in July 2014, I experienced no ends of #DISCRIMINATION resulting in me getting counselling at the Maudsley Hospital. So I offered myself for #Research to stop even one child and their parents/family going through my ordeals as unless you have been in my situations, you will not understand what I am talking about?
With recent events I have had to go research the #ModernDaySlaveryAct2015. I thought all this #CRAP would be behind me by now, but instead I have to carry on….
I have been doing my best to make contributions to the upliftments of my #Family, remembering the promise I made to my breda #BYRON on his death bed in #March2008, amongst other matters.
Imagine my shock thinking I have #Family2Turn2 when I am in need, only to get nothing but #REJECTION.
However this takes the biscuit and I believe someone like the #CROSSES has decided to use Reverse Psychology to use my #VULNERABILITY against me like the crosses done.
Now this is what I got from they know themselves after trying to get in touch. “Internet not working so well and I do not have any credit. My response edited: Well how about getting some for…?
For the #9months I carried you growing inside of me, no #Charge! Well I think it’s time I get my #Dunce_Maths_Cap on and start adding up the #CostofReal_LOVE?
I was not brought up this way, I have had my hard knocks in life, I #CUSS, throw a few #Missiles, but I never at any time chose to use my #ChildrenasWeapons. It has come to the end of the road where people will have to take #Responsibilities. I can no longer #Prop any one else up any longer. In a few years, I will be a #Pensioner and if is the way I am getting treated, what will happen then? The #Bible was the #1stBOOK, I got and although, I am not perfect,, I tried to live my life by the principles of the #ChristianTeachings like my parents and my #Papa in particular. So I will take my time, as I don’t want to end up doing anything I regret. Love Works Wonders In My Soul…!

I love this photo of my #husband celebrating his 90th birthday. I said my final goodbye to my mother on the 22nd January 2014. 4 days before her 90th birthday. I went back to bury her, came back and LEYF Nurseries – #LEYF done what they did. Can Facebook not understand my anguish over the past 4+ years, why I am so mad? My Tom is not the man he was 4+ years ago when we got married either. Moments like what I went through today, a #depressive phase makes me realise how much of my life has been wasted because of the #JudgeFreer and #JudgeShanks of this world. They must hate their mothers like some of the Village Lawyers procrastinating here on Facebook for Windows?

I am a married woman so the romance will have to be on ice, until… But there is an old fashioned values call #courting if anyone is interested in inviting me on the adventure? My friend Chester Pinder and his Missis, going to Southafrica for holidays. Wishing I have her money and freedom.

My Bajan friend Mr Chester Pinder. He can always put a smile on my face. He allows me to be whatever I want to be when I am indisposable. Guess it comes with the way you were brought up. Level of education and your experiences along with everything life throws at you. He was born in Barbados. Served in the Army, work in the Civil Service and was a Magistrates. Meet him 10 years at a 50th birthday party and we will be friends for life. Thanks Chester for the unconditional #LOVE

I have been rubbing shoulders with Rags, Shags and ShagaRagAsses for the past 25+ years. I have not changed from the Young Woman who left Jamaica all those years ago to make use of the opportunities.

1 day away from the date MLBOJ arrived just b4 Christmas in 1979…! God alone knows where the years have gone to so quickly…? Have so many things planned to celebrate, but nutn going to plan…! Hopefully I get hold of those pics I was promised by my Manager & colleagues to share showing that I am aging Gracefully. Well Time is the Master & I just have to do as it Dictates? I am more than grateful to God for how my Life & those of my Sons are on course…? I was a gem slip of a Girl with many Doubts about the Future, but I have come a long way & being Blessed by the Almighty I am praying? As a budding, upcoming, photographer & soon to be WRITER of my Family & JA history. I come up with many plans in my Brain that never got off the ground… Mostly due of course to my own Limitations at not possessing certain skills in some departments. Well I know for a fact that I inherited some of my Papa’s Visions. B4 day this morning I had the strangest of dreams & it involved 1 person from my district. This Family had the shop across the road from this 1. We were at a Big gathering & this Lady whom I know & she was my HD was sat beside a Young Man whom I did not know…? But the strangest thing is this Lady have no memory of who I am. Nothing new here still because I have actually grown out some of the persons I haven’t seen in ages. Especially when I am in 1 of my many disguises that my Papa called the “Devil’s Armour!” So 1 day I hope to finish what I have started & document the story of this particular building & the roles the owners played in starting a Social Enterprise to bring the Communities together. Tek me out of JA & TOWNHEAD in particular, but U can’t rid me of my Culture & Heritage?

So is the Employment Tribunal Law representatiive of a vulnerable person who have to face 2 miscarriages of justice whilst left alone to represent myself? Voice: the union for education professionals is still taking my fees and trying to stitch me up to resign my Membership. Then they say like UNISON that the matter is closed?

That’s why I am calling for an Inquiry into the Early Years Sector. The #EmploymentTribunals affirm the Discrimination and presided over another miscarriage of justice. Now LEYF Nurseries will have to account for the discrimination that destroyed my life and leave me battling Mental Health Conditions. Thanks to Alfred Taylor who meet me when I reach rock bottom and encourage me, I might not be on the road to recovery. I am now accepting myself for who I am.

Taurus: You long for stimulation but aren’t sure how to go about it. Put yourself in the hands of an adventurous person. Your best friend or partner will be happy to introduce you to new ideas and activities. Be as receptive as possible.
Can you see that everyone from the Astrologers to the Good Samaritan I meet on the road to Damascus know about my dire situation?
I lost my stimulation when LEYF Nurseries strip me of my dignity and become a Terrorist Cells at BIB, HOC and New Cross. This is despite me telling #DilysEpton that work keep me going because of my childhood traumas owing to many factors.
I know how to go about my stimulation, depending on what it is at any given time. I am a #WRITER, but what about other aspects? The Daily Express state socialising can help with disabilities like diabetes. But BIGOTS at the #EmploymentTribunals disregard the Medical Reports and a tell me FUCKERY about fact they deal with. But my Facebook have all the stimulation I get up to, to manage and control my Disabilities. There is one photo of me at Luton Street with my foot trying to reach above my head. I am still capable of doing it and my Physio was surprised. I can do other more adventurous activities, but you won’t see them on Social Media.
Oh, is there any Adventurous Friends out there interested in introducing me to new ideas and activities? Just remember I’m a mature married woman who is not into some of the new fangled activities people get pleasures from. As for telling me to take any part of my autonomy to send to you, don’t bother.
I am ready to be as receptive as possible with Mr AT approval. Ged it yet?
I’m on a roll, learning lessons from non other than Mr Mass George Son Malachi. My Father #IS_NEMBHARD was a Preacher, Storyteller and a 1 Woman Man. 2018 have got to be my year too with Mr AT from YARD, Westmoreland.

I have to take the #BullbyzHorns when I was left on my own by Voice: the union for education professionals & other #LegalAdvisors. #VOICE is still taking my dues even thou I haven’t work since the #27thSeptember2015. As for the #Establishment & #Systems, I would have to turn to Crisis if I didn’t have my #Husband_Support! Reasons for my Fight4justice & I will be taking up #ADVOCACY next.

Thanks to all of the #supportnetwork who stood by me through thick and thin from the time I get back from burying my MOTHER. I have my Fight4justice campaign and at times I feel like giving up. There were times when because of the Mental and Physical Disabilities, I just wanted to stay with my head buried under the covers.
But because giving up was never an option, I always hang on in there. I know the truth will come out one day. But the stupid #WinsomeDuncan send the Police and Ambulance services to take me away from my vulnerable husband. That makes me more determined to get justice. Not only for myself but for my Tom. He has endure enough over the past years. He hasn’t done anything to deserve any of this.
Can anyone imagine what it done to me to see him cry. But it got to me the other day when he flip.
They won’t hear the last of this. LEYF Nurseries you hurt my #Husband you have to be accountable. The #EmploymentTribunals affirm the Discrimination and presided over another miscarriage of justice. My TOM was told “MR TOMLINSON YOU HAVE A SMALL ILLUSION THAT ONE DAY YOU CAN BECOME A PROPERTY TYCOON”? Now why do the UK have problems with people who are ambitious? Thanks to Mr SASK who I met on the Road to Damascus going the Blue in Bermondsey who talk some sense into my stubborn head. I am eternally grateful.

I have time on my hands, in addition to being #Carer for my husband. I am a #writer. Stories will be told about how employers like @leyfonline are allowed to get away with Modern SLAVERY practices because they have friends in high places to collude and cover up for them. I started writing the stories with CEO-MBE #JuneOsullivan getting preferential treatment. For the snubs at New Cross on the 7th August and 19th September 2015 at Middlesex University.

They terrorise me from the time I get back from burying my MOTHER to the time I have another horrorying experience presided over by the #EmploymentTribunals. Next day I was stalked by 2 Young White Males at the Nursery World Show. Who was responsible #LizRoberts, editor of the Nursery World Magazine. I have many more to expose. Let me start the celebrations. 38th birthday party coming up. My #Coach_WinsomeDuncan maybe you can find out how not to take advantage of a vulnerable person and mock me, calling me Mummy. This is the way I take Hard Liquor. My freezer is full of stuff for when I go through those phases when I am unable to eat. Yes I experience Mental and Physical Disabilities.
