A Passion For Purpose

Hi, my name is Symone McKenzie the Founder of A Passion For Purpose.
What a character-building experience this year has been for me. I have grown and developed so much this year through many different challenges and sudden changes. However, there was also a sense of calm in the midst of the storm. Despite the challenges, I am so thankful and grateful for the doors of opportunities that have opened up for me.
Let me explain, before our first, lockdown. I was experiencing frustration, unfulfillment, and a lack of purpose because I knew deep down that I wasn’t fulfilling my potential. I felt that there was more to life than my current situation, but I was unsure of what that was.
Even though working as a primary school teacher is rewarding, I knew that there was a bigger impact that I could be making in the world. All I could see around me were people who were unfulfilled, stressed, and overwhelmed. I was seeing the reflection of myself. I knew then it was time to make a shift. Even though, I wasn’t sure what that would look like.
Then lockdown happened. It felt like I was in a movie. I couldn’t believe what was actually happening around me. I was glued to the news and in disbelief of what was actually happening. Was this really happening. I had two choices to make. I could allow this to consume me or I could use this time to reflect, refocus and reset my life.
I chose to use this time to really think about where I was in my life and what impact I was making in the lives of those around me.
It was when I started to invest the time to really think about what I truly wanted to do with my life that my perspective started to shift. I started to listen to motivational Youtube videos, read inspirational books, registered for online self-development courses, and I even hired a coach to make me accountable because I knew if I didn’t, I would allow my limiting beliefs to hold me back from pursuing my goals. I was determined that it was now or never.
Over the next months, I became really passionate about encouraging and motivating other women who felt stuck, frustrated, and overwhelmed in their careers so that they could fulfill their potential, pursue their dream goals and become the best version of themselves. Yes, your right, just like me.
I first started on Instagram which then inspired me to set up a Personal Development Online Platform called ‘A Passion For Purpose.’ The name came from having the passion to find my purpose in life.
The vision for A Passion For Purpose is to have a range of coaches (Career, Business, Self-development, Mindset & Clarity, Health & Nutrient coach), online courses, and resources (Blog post, podcast & books). Yes, that’s right, a one-stop personal development online hub.![😁]()
Through this platform, we want to be able to offer group coaching sessions that are accessible for anyone especially those individuals that may not be able to access one2one sessions.
It doesn’t end there, we want to also reach out into the community and make a difference so we are currently running a Crowdfunding Campaign to raise money to pay coaches to deliver free group coaching sessions and an online course for women who have lost their job or have had to close their business due to the pandemic.
The money will also be used to help market and advertise what we are offering and for a website developer to upgrade the current website to be able to host the online course and resources.
It would be incredible if you could support this campaign by making a donation. No pledge is too small as it goes towards our support numbers. We need to get 26 more supports for us to receive the funding and we need to raise £8,263 to meet our £10,000 target.

Here’s another #reason for Mervelee Ratty Nembhard to continue my Fight4justice campaign against DISCRIMINATION by the UK government that is NEGLIGENT about the RIGHTS of Mervelee Myers Supporters not to have our ENTITLEMENTS taken away by the contingent Policies and Procedures of EMPLOYERS like LEYF Nurseries and King’s College Hospital that ruined Merveleeconsultancy career two times after EMINEMBHARDfamily experienced bereavement and losses.
That’s why 6 years after the death of my mother and the time when a young man by the name of George Floyd was brutally murdered by the POLICE in the USA whilst shouting “I Cannot Breathe”, this takes me back to the two miscarriages of justice by the Employment Tribunal Services. I managed to recover from the damages because of the discrimination on all grounds that impacted on my emotional health and well-being.
Getting a job with people I know, worked with and helped I thought I was in good hands to get my career working again. I was in for a disappoint when the Manager started treated me exactly the way we were treated why she had to leave KINGS. It was during a visit to my home by one of my former colleagues who the manager had told I graduated from The Open University and she asked for my help that I heard that LEYF was recruiting. Since my LEYF Careers that was ruined is in the Public Domain, I will leave this story here for now.

So I have just done my #Research on Google. My words if I did not start off by attending JT Foxx Organization Free Trainings all this #BRAND_MERVELEEMYERS would be out in cyberspace doing nothing.
Thanks to LEYF Nurseries that destroyed my Mental Health, ruined my career and then kicked me out of my job. The job I was relying on for my Pension when I retire.
I discovered that I am very much representing my views about the issues that are affecting the Population, both young and old. I am wondering what I would come up with if I have time to revisit the Daily Express website where I contributed to their #MentalHealth_CRUSADE?
Here is just a sample that I find on Google. So my investments in myself are producing the benefits. Messages to those who were telling me to hide myself away with my #TraumaticChildhoodExperiences, I was right and you were wrong. Imagine if my life chances were not blighted by the deficits and limitations of Disabilities from the time I reached Puberty. Anyway thanks to the #Discrimination I encountered in 2 WORKPLACES, I am now an Empowered WOMAN with the tools I am acquiring to build my own #Business.

Just so they are in no doubt about my state of mind at the time, I was on a Medical Suspension. They were trying everything after the CEO/MBE of #LEYF sanction the unfair treatment to get rid of me. The rest of my life is history. Check out my Fight4justice campaign if you are in any doubt about any of my Core Stories and Experiences living in a society where the systems and establishments collude with those in authority to discriminate against the VULNERABLE. My tutors at Lambeth College advised me 1997-1999 that I could become a writer from the passionate way I presented my assignments with my personal experiences.
Thanks to Gerry Robert, I am making that leap of faith. I know for a fact that I can do so with my writing. Thats why I am using all the opportunities I am presented with.
Thanks to my coach Winsome Duncan, I am beginning to see the dreams being turned into the visions of realities I have had since my childhood. I don’t mind how I get there, so even if I have to get a few kicks up the backside, please do. I know I am as stubborn as a mule and sometime drift off course.

Set myself Targets to Finish my Write ups @ 1.00 pm today… Mission Accomplished at 12.58. Can U imagine how much I could have Accomplished, the Contributions I could have Made & the Many Benefits that could be Derived if I was Allowed to Realise my Potentials, Follow my Dreams & make some of my Visions become Realities?
This is only the Beginning & with my 2 Sons #1 Kevin Murray & #2 Valdin Legister, WE have Plans to make this World & Jamaica a Better Place for the Future Generations of Family/Friends/Acquaintances & just anyone who might need that Little Help!

On the Job early, but it’s the little things that really annoying me. My Life taken over by @LEYF October 2014 to now because @LEYF & the collaborators & cohorts decide Mervelee Myers is too KNOWLEDGEABLE for them. But Tom is trying to shut me up when I say someone MUST PAY. If I could get Legal Representative I would have to Pay for the WORK am doing myself.
Well maybe I need to contact Judge Rinder on ITV to sort out VOICE another of the Unscrupulous @LEYF cohorts. Take it from me that’s my experience of 2 Unions & Solicitors.
Bates Wells Braithwaite Solicitors are the exception because they read my Open Letter & understand. Can’t say the same for CON-CLUELESS-JOHN who I will recommend to send to Jamaica for JAMAL or JEEP classes.
Now Ms Ratty get on with the WORK. I need to link up with my son Mirwais Ahmedzai from Olive Regis-Williams TA class. We have Plans!

I know my GOD is more than able to carry me through. With Counselling I’m changing from that ignorant short tempered person who did not have a clue. Now I tend to treat every situation as a Learning Curve. I guess this is for my own benefit in Creating the Person I hope to one day become. I still question GOD, cut dung pon di Cussing, but me even Wrenk than before.
One day at a time Sweet JESUS & I promise to do my bit.
I am not as STRESS, but this cursed matter that is not of my making to be done with comes what may.
My TOM is being Neglected.
Now I go try unwind to start over & finish the WORK that Satan Host of Criminal Psychopaths left me with!

I am 7 years older than Mama’s WB, but I used to take him to the Clinic at the Townhead Baptist Church Yard to get his inoculations. WE were brought up to help with the Raising of our Younger Siblings. My Granny went & took my Nephew & my breda Doston named him Leroy George Montgomery NEMBHARD. My breda Amly & I used to have to go stay with John until Ms Neeta go to collect 4 the others at GP. Then it was decided it’s best if John comes to live with US. I helped to look after John as he became GanGan’s now favourite grandchild. The primary reason being John learnt to cook early 4 his Granny. I was the 1st to warn my breda BYRON that Bob’s Mama & Granny came to tell my Parents abt his existence. I am taking care of Young Children from my eyes dem did dey a mi knees, so I won’t even chat bout wat I had to do 4 my 2 Precious Gifts that God decreed were my Blessings. So why should I sit idly by & allow any1 to Blacken my Good Name & Character again like they did in 2008…? What dem mean when dem say dat U don’t have EMPATHY…, Can any1 tell me dat? When di RI dem dun come tell I “Every time dem see I dem larn sinting more bout I…”? Well dem still hab lots more fi larn! Wonda which part dem guh a School…?
