Mervelee Myers is not a stranger to Institutional Discrimination 2004 – 2019 in the UK

I complained about the treatment of Mr. Tomlinson on the 25/03/2019 which amounted to discrimination. Because this complaint is coming from others that were resolved to my satisfaction. However, without prejudice, the events of the 25/03/2019 are Santander abusing the power of their authority by denying a vulnerable person some duty of care to help him sort out his financial matters. Let me put it out there that I am no stranger to discrimination at the hands of the Financial Institutions from 2004.   

Since Mr. Tomlinson was dealing with loss and bereavement at the time. The treatment of Mr. Tomlinson leading up to our visit to London Bridge on 1 March 2019 the day after his nephew’s funeral might have had some impact on him. In the case of Mr. Tomlinson, who is relying on me as his wife and carer to do my duty by him. I know exactly what my duty of care is for my husband. Because I have been an informal carer from the time my youngest brother was born. And later helping my mother caring for my father and grandma.  My father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease from an early age. That’s why I am fundraising@parkinsons.org.uk in honour of my father and uncle. Both were affected by Parkinson’s disease. Without prejudice, I am of the opinion that Santander is watching Mr. Tomlinson’s age and hence the reasons for the discrimination. First, they tried stopping him from making an appointment before the time they said we should contact them. Eventually, we were booked for an appointment at London Bridge. We turned up to find out that it was been refurbished. We have to go to his Branch in Peckham to get the matter sorted. But this was a long day for Mr. Tomlinson that we did not plan for. Otherwise we would have come prepared.

Considering Mr. Tomlinson’s disabilities and recent bereavement, we should not have been left to go through this experience. The matter was sorted after the long wait and we have an appointment for the 25/04/2019. Appointment Card: Day: Monday. Date: 25/03/19. Time: 12 noon. Branch: Peckham. Adviser: Mark. I asked for the information (Telephone: 0800-171-2171) to put in a complaint about the impacts of the treatment of sending Mr. Tomlinson to London Bridge. And what I witnessed at Peckham Branch of Santander, was not nice. Staff was stretched to the limit.

By this time Mr. Tomlinson was disillusioned with Santander’s treatment. He asked for the BOND to be credited to his account. But Santander reinvested the Bond without Mr. Tomlinson’s consent on the 03/04/2019. Therefore that’s why Santander decided to discriminate against Mr. Tomlinson when we visited the Brixton Branch on the 25/03/2019. And now LYING about the matter to cover up that they have designs on Mr. Tomlinson’s money.

Now they are deciding that I am a liar. This is like a red flag to a raging bull because of my experiences with Financial Institutions. Mr. Tomlinson has some not so good memories of been discriminated against by the BANKS during the time he’s lived in the UK from Easter of 1956.

On balance a happy ending

SLP: Mervelee Myers, 45, of Bermondsey, was devastated when her savings cheque was swiped before it was delivered to her house. SLP: And despite weeks of phone calls, the nursery worker was struggling to find out who was responsible for the money going missing. Updates: Let me share some fact that will show the discrimination I endured in the UK and the hands of some unscrupulous individuals and organisations. It was 2004 that I had a cancer health scare with an unclear pap smear. But I only learned about the links to cancer in my DNA during the time my brother was stricken with and died with colon cancer. He was only 56 years old. But worse was to come, because after his death I suffered the first nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. SLP “I was devastated when I heard,” said Mrs. Myers. “It is years of savings and I wouldn’t be able to cope without it.” Updates: I will leave you with http://unison.org.uk/ overturning the Government law for employees to be charged fees to take their employers to the Employment Tribunal.

SLP The cheque from the Woolwich bank went missing in March after it failed to arrive in the post. Updates: I will refer to www.leyf.org.uk response to my Subject Access Request claiming they have no data of my working from 1/9/2009 to 27/9/2015.

SLP She telephoned the bank and was told the cheque would be canceled and a new one sent.  Updates: I will refer to http://www.justice.gov.uk/tribunals/employment/claims/responding to show you why I refuse to let the Employment Tribunal get away this time with the miscarriage of justice that ruined my career ay Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust 2004-2008.

SLP But when the cheque failed to arrive a second time, Mrs. Myers was told the cheque was cashed. “It had been cashed at a Halifax account in my name,” said Myers.    Updates: Let me refer you to www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers for how I have had institutional discrimination ruining 26 years and 11 months of my life in the UK.

SLP “When I telephoned the Halifax they confirmed it, although the name was slightly different and the date of birth had been changed. I don’t know how someone got it, I never saw it.” Updates: I will refer to the fact that my data was tampered with from the time LEYF invited me to Disciplinary Hearing. SLP Mrs telephoned the South London Press because she was appalled at the situation and after we became involved she quickly received her money. Updates:  Let me share a little about my experiences with some of the cohorts that have colluded with LEYF to discriminate against me.

1. I will start with the www.bwbllp.com. They sent me threats on the 24/9/2015
2. There is www.voicetheunion.org.uk.  They abandoned me after the Union Rep Darren Mahon disappeared after he accompanied me to the Disciplinary Hearing. VOICE is still charging me fee despite I have not worked since resigning with the second nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment.
3. HMRC breached the Data Protection Act. DWP has been treating me like a criminal from I was forced on benefits. Until I was threatened with a criminal record by www.gov.uk/universalcredit during the time I was struggling with the ET and EAT cases.

SLP Although Royal Mail has not been blamed for the theft, a spokeswoman said: “Royal Mail takes allegations of theft of posted item very seriously and would apologise to any customer who has been affected by this. “We would recommend that the customer involved contact our customer services department.” Updates: Here’s why I am challenging www.judicialombudsman.gov.uk about the way the Judiciary Of England & Wales is not fit for purpose.

SLP Walworth police are investigating. Updates: That’s how I come to still have PC Baxter Extension 26148 in his own handwriting. SLP The Woolwich bank has apologised for any problems that Mrs. Myers experienced and has paid the amount in full, plus interest.  Updates: I did not have the various Social Media Platforms back then that I have now. I have since had to be prepared to invest in my own brand with the various pages on Facebook.
