The Peckham Settlement Tim Reith – Director 10/9/2009

Dear Mervelee,

Thank you for your letter of 22 July 2009, which I received last week. I wanted to write to you to thank you personally for all you have done to contribute to All Nations Nursery since you joined the setting in January. As you know the six months between January and June were a particularly difficult time for the nursery in general and I know that you often found yourself in a difficult positon in retation to the former nursery manager.

Despite this it was clear that you had much to offer the setting and I know Siobhan thought hiughly of you as a nursery officer. I’m sure you will be missed by the other staff in the setting, particular those you worked most closely with. And on behalf of everyone at All Nations Nursery I would like to wish you all the best in your new job and in the future career. Please feel free to come by and pay us a visit anytime.

In the issue of annual leave, I have checked through our records and I believe the situation to be as follows: In the current leave years from 1st April until the date of your letter of resignation on 22nd July you were entitled to 8 days of paid leave. In addition you carried over 3 days of annual leave from the previous years, giving you 11 days in total. One of these days was taken on the 22nd June giving you a remainder 0f 10 days. Within your recent period of leave beginning on 2oth July you were entitled to take the following days as paid leave: July 20th – 24th inclusive (5 days) and July 27th -31th also inclusive (5 days). As you have been paid in full for the month of July there is no remaining paid leave to be taken. I will also contact our payroll agency and ask them to produce P45 form for your new employer.

I trust this takes care of all the details. Once again, many thanks for all you did during your time at All Nations Nursery.

Best Wishes.

Tim Reith. Director.
