We have had the pleasure of knowing Mervelee Myers since Decemeber 2007. During the past 10 months of our acquaintance, we have known Mervelee in many capacities. She has been our guide for Alaister during the early days in the nursery. Her responsibilities in that capacity have grown with the activity level she gave to all the kids she has been assigned to especially for Alaister as she pays attention to all his needs and help him to be acquainted with other kids in the nursery.
She has also become an assessor for our son, Alaister, after he had been diagnosed with ASD early this year. She assisted us by reporting to us her observations of Alaister’s behaviour in the nursery especially in relation to his condition. She has planned several activities and pays close attention working with Alaister to put preventive actions in place so that his condition will not aggravate as such.
Mervelee is an intelligent, capable, dedicated, and personable woman. She is always quick on her feet, with sensible reactions in all the different circumstances we have seen her in. She is the first one who brought to our attention and observed Alaister of his condition despite the early stage. We feel cofident in saying that she is capable of handling any situation with thoughtfulness, love and utmost care both professional and personal circumstances.
