To Whom It May Concern
I am writing with reference to Mervelee Myers whom I have known personally for the past 6 years when we worked together as colleagues. Mervelee joined our team as a full time Nursery Practitioner at Fitzrovia Community Nursery in September 2009 – Mrch 2010. (Mervelee Myers Updates 9/3/2019: Graduate of acc-gen@open.ac.uk and www.open.ac.uk/ceremonies and www.aoug.org.uk/awards). During the year that we worked together I knew her to be an organized, responsible, and easy going individual who conducted herself professionally. Her contributions included working in partnership with parents and other professionals and as a team with other LEYF staff members.
Mervelee worked hard at developing our nursery and maximised the development and learning of the children in her care. One of her greatest strength was her passion, knowledge and expertise re: SEND – Special Educational Needs and Disability. (Mervelee Myers updates 9/3/2019: Done trainings with LEA Southwark Council sen@southwark.gov.uk and other http://register.ofqual.gov.uk from 1997). She was able to lead by example and recognized which areas within the setting needed developing resulting from years of studies, trainings and research. (Mervelee Myers Updates 9/3/2019: My qualifications were earned via dedication to empowering myself and are at https://ofqual.gov.uk/qualifications-and-assessment/qualification-frameworks/levels-of-qualifications/).
Mervelee was highly respected amongst her nursery colleagues, the parents and other professionals for her knowledge about all aspects of childcare and education in the early years. (Mervelee Myers Updates 9/3/2019: As can be ascertained from http://skynews.com/ on the 5th September 2011, representing www.leyf.org.uk). She has a passion and natural flair in implementing and promoting best quality inclusive practice to benefit the children and parents. Her hard work and caring nature when working with the children was valued and acknowledged by her colleagues and the parents.
I think Mervelee is an asset to any team and very competent at her work and therefore I have no reservations in recommending her services. (Mervelee Myers Updates 9/3/2019: The Makaton Charity www.makaton.org. Just one of the many training I completed between 1/9/2009 until I was forced out in April 2010 to Luton Street).
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me by email. (Mervelee Myers Updates 9/3/2019: This can be verified by the CEO Long Service Award dated 15/10/2014).
