The Museum of Cambridge is excited to launch our new community co-curated exhibition โLegacies of Windrush in Cambridgeโ, in partnership with Dr Carol Brown-Leonardi and the African Caribbean Research Group, opening on 26th of April 2025. The first exhibition of its kind, it shines a light on the lives and experiences of the Caribbean Windrush community and those who left an indelible mark on Cambridge and the UK.
Featuring for the first time a series of oral histories from local Caribbean Elders in Cambridge, the oral histories capture special moments of family history, experiences and invaluable community stories. Stories collected in partnership with Dr Carol Brown-Leonardi share the fantastic legacy of the Windrush generation through music, food, religion, the arts and community. From pub landlords, local newsagent owners and steelpan bands, the exhibition celebrates the people at the heart of Cambridgeโs community.
This project was only made possible thanks to public funding from the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
โLegacies of Windrush in Cambridgeโ will open on Saturday 26th April 2025, and remain on display until January 2026. Standard entry applies.
Songstreets offers an interactive journey through the streets and culture of Brixton, accessed via Aswarm XRโs mobile app – Led by the knowledge of Black Brixtonites, we journey into the heart and fire of what empowers this unique place, exploring how songs can spark pathways into the hidden stories & cultural memories embedded in our streets.
SONGSTREETS is experienced as a guided interactive walk via an app on your mobile phone. We invite you to immerse yourself in the streets and culture, encountering the characters, stories and songs that make Brixton resonate, in an intimate, moving and ultimately uplifting performance experience.

Border Crossings’ ORIGINS Festival celebrates the world’s First Nations in an explosion of art, performanceย and debate
It began when Border Crossings ORIGINS Festival commissioned us to respond to the work of Indigenous Australian musician Jessie Lloyd, who they had commissioned to undertake a residency in Brixton, working with the local community to discover songs and stories from the 75 years that have passed since the Windrush brought the first post-war migrants to London from the Caribbean.
Jessie Lloyd applied the methodology that she evolved to work with Indigenous Elders in her MISSION SONGS project, and collaborating with Brixton-born artist Tony Cealy, she explored the commonalities of experience between Indigenous Australians and Black Britons, using music to commemorate local heritage, within global histories of racism and emerging processes of reconciliation.
Inspired by the parallels between Jessieโs grandfather Albie Geia, who was a leader in the 1957 Palm Island Strike, which, like the events in Brixton in 1981, were labelled โriotsโ ( leading to Albie’s imprisonment), the project draws on ‘Brixton’s’ role as a site & beacon of resistance. These connections also coincided with 81 Acts movement, commemorating the 40 Anniversary of the Brixton uprisings of 1981.
Our response to Jessie’s residency is Songstreets; a site-specific, immersive experience that weaves the songs through the streets of Brixton and uncovers their extraordinary stories.
We worked closely with Brixton artist Tony Cealyย as the lead narrator and a host ofย incredible local voicesย ย – from activists to musicians, homeless folk to sound-system experts, Caribbean elders groups to pirate radio MC’s – we walked talked and recorded a series of stories that emerged from these streets and these songs.ย –ย The result is this truly site-specific journey, accessed through ourย AswarmXR mobile app.

Border Crossings came to us back in 2020, as part of the 81Acts movement (commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Brixton Uprisings of 1981) and the UK/Australia season 21/22, with the question how could we use our unique skill – for connecting people, place and technology into interactive public art works- to respond and compose to Jessies Lloyds research within Brixton’s community. – We then promptly entered the Covid era.. We’re really delighted to say we’ve since built a really good collaborative working relationship, together making sure the seeds of Jessie Lloyd’s residency in Brixton have grown and blossomed into something we’re really proud of: Songstreets – An art project that is both rooted in the Black and Caribbean community of Brixton and that has tendrils that reach deep down under responding to Jessies perspective too.

Jessie Lloyd is an award-winning Indigenous Australian singer, social historian and cultural practitioner of Indigenous song, who revives the music of Indigenous Elders in Australia. As with Jessie’s MISSION SONGS PROJECT, in Brixton she embarked on a musical journey with the local community, to research and reveal the forgotten stories and unexplored corners of recent history.โ Her process ranged from collaborating with the community to compose new songs, to recording existing songs that the community felt served to trigger and carry stories, to writing her own inspired by these encounters.
Tony Cealy >> Artist & Lead Narrator
Arts Practitioner and Trainer for Drama and Theatre. Producer of Programmes, Workshops and Theatre Projects. Born in Brixton, a child of the Windrush, Tony is one of those people you cant walk 20 yards down the road with, without bumping into someone he knows, whose smile and greeting leads to conversation. – He was a key person opening the doors for Jessie into this community. Walking and talking with Tony, recording the stories that emerge from these streets and the characters we encountered on our various journey’s provided the pot of sauces to cook up this piece and fed the threads to weave these songs around these streets. As Practitioner, Tony uses drama and theatre to encourage self-awareness and to assist individuals in exploring the idea of change and the impact that it may have on their lives. Drawing on over 20 yrs of experience in both the corporate and Arts sector, Gesture offers an end-to-end design & development service.
Experienced in conducting R&D for organisations such as American Express, The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), Honeywell, Hitachi, UBS, EE and Tideway. Gesture has also produced interactive content for London Fashion Week, the Venice Biennale and the Science Museum.

Thank you for your emails and for the voicemails you left me. I’ll add everything you’ve sent me to the complaint, but unfortunately it doesn’t change what I have said in my view.
When we assess a complaint we have to take all the information you gave us, as well as all the information that Barclays have given us and make a decision based on that. In this case, I cannot find any factual evidence that Barclays have your missing ยฃ1,000. So I can’t say they need to give it back or reopen your account. I am sorry about that as I know it’s very disappointing and not very helpful for you. But we are an evidence based organisation.
I know that you are caring for your husband at the moment and I don’t want to add to your stress or worry. If you don’t agree with my findings, I can ask for an ombudsman to review your case again and make sure what I have said is correct. Would you like me to do that?
You asked in one of your emails what qualifications I have. I am part of the additional support area and we do receive extra training around mental health issues and complaints where someone has had an effect on their health. I hope that helps reassure you that I have looked at everything as thoroughly as I can.

I did not become HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistics of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. That the SCAMMERS used to send Police to Section me. So over time my Sensitive Data about my Mental Health Condition was used by a former Mental Health Nurse June O’Sullivan who is advisor to the Mayor of London to push me over the edge to trigger my PTSD from the label of UURICA_LE after my mother’s death with dementia to be feeling Suicidal. The Equality Act Protected Characteristics Religion prevent me committing suicide so I worry about getting a stroke from my Physical Disabilities of diabetes and arthritis. But FOS Inspector says I have to go to court after I exhausted the ET/EAT and now CCMCC and CLCC making sure I am tied to an ECRO. So am to be 600,000 older people in the UK say they leave their home once per week or less with my husband who will be 99 in March. So why was my image portrayed across the Internet as page 1 of Windrush 70?

Let FOS look at the Evidence of the Colonised like MERVELEE MYERS who was called by Richard Harty who Panic and kicked me out of the UEL because he is the Mastermind Of MIC. The Reviews online that ET Panel refused my Additional Witness Statements and Theresa May Government my petition for an inquiry into the Early Years Sector. But Judge Freer gave Samantha Jones a reference to be on the Grenfell Tower Inquiry Panel. Whilst I averted a Grenfell Tower at Alma Grove where I was rescued from Domestic Abuse and now Housing for Women targeted me. I no longer feel safe because Police come to Murder me and come to Discriminate using the narrative to label me because of my Mental Health. The NHS Ambulance Service threatened to remove me under the Mental Health Act when I seek help.
UEL sent Police PC Conway to force entry to my house. He called me when I was meeting Jillian McTaggart for my ERT Entrapment at Southwark Women’s Space. They published my Poems without even understanding the significance. I want to address this matter based on the fact that DJ Beecham did not preside over the case that was conducted by the MALE Member of HMCTS because of what I said to her after she gave the JUDGEMENT. For there to be no doubt in this matter, I told her that if I ended up becoming HCT Group Impact Report 2016 of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment, she is RESPONSIBLE. I will therefore state the facts about why DJ Beecham is responsible and her failure to accept my ARGUMENTS from she decided that she wanted to keep the CASE. I am now stating that DJ Beecham had an ulterior motive for keeping the case that is linked to her appointment as a DISTRICT JUDGE in 2019.
Housing for Women Customer Panel 2019 –
1. MM Minute Taker for Housing for Women Customer Scrutiny Panel In 2019 – 2024 Dr Phil Gregory visited 16 Alma Grove unannounced on the 21st November the day after I was on a ZOOM meeting with the Housing Ombudsman Service. The fact that I was with Lloyd Parker, might have been the only reason that he and the nurse did carry out their PLANS against me. He wanted me to stop recording the interview I was doing with Lloyd Parker. Yesterday I was with a supporter when I was called by Lloyd Parker who has sent me THREATS to visit my home today 24 March 2025.
2. MM sent a report to H4W detailing Debbie Gilchrist catalogue of HATE CRIMES against me April 2019 – H4W wiped the Customer Portal of my DATA in 2022 after my COMPLAINTS reached stage 2 of the Complaints Procedure.
3. Customer Panel disbanded by CEO Zaiba Qureshi in 2020 – I am sent invitation by email for opportunity to be a member of the Customer Panel in 2024. Regards must be given to ITV News DOCUMENTARY with Queen Camilla on my brother Ervin Nembhard birthday as this is linked to the date of my PROTEST at BIB www.leyf.org.uk Nursery. Because DJ Beecham insisted that she will not deal with any other ISSUES except the H4W. On the 20 March 2025 DJ Beecham refuse anyone speaking on my behalf despite the fact that she was AWARE of my STATE of MIND from the time she decided she wanted to keep the case. Based on information that are proven fact of breaches of the Equality Act Protected Characteristics by DJ Beecham and the Equality Act assessor Emua Ali on the 7th and 17th March 2025. MM is stating that DJ Beecham is/was party to the DISCRIMINATION in making me a voiceless, vulnerable victim of Housing for Women, Devonshires Solicitors LLP, the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and the Crown Prosecution Service dating back to my employment at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust 2003-2008. I had the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother aged 56 years old with COLON CANCER.
4. Metropolitan Police visited Alma Grove 30 October 2020 – The Metropolitan visited my home under cover of LEYF Margaret Horn lecture on the 30 October 2020 to MURDER me to say I committed SUICIDE. I was on the telephone with my son Valdin Legister when Debbie Gilchrist came in DRUNK and started VERBALLY ABUSING me. She stood at my door shouting for me to open the door so she can MURDER ME so they say I commit SUICIDE. This is the reason that DJ Beecham was unable to continue with the other case. Because SUICIDE was used by Winsome Duncan, who was groomed by barrister Ryan Clement to send the Metropolitan Police and London Ambulance Service to my home on the 30 October 2017 to SECTION ME. That I wrote on Facebook that I was feeling SUICIDAL. The fact that the MALE judge who was RANTING and RAVING mentioned certain NAMES must be taken into EVIDENCE about the MISCARRIAGES of JUSTICE after bereavement and losses. This can be referenced IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE that DJ Beecham refused a copy. The fact that I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson research paper “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” for the Policy Studies Institute recommended to ACAS must be evidenced. For why DJ Beecham refused to allow anyone to SPEAK in her COURT. But failed to finish the case when I made her RESPONSIBLE if I can no longer stop myself becoming HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all SUICIDES are associated with UNEMPLOYMENT. Because my husband and I became 600,000 older people in the UK say they leave home once per week or less.
5. SENCO job offer for ยฃ46 – 55,000.00 in 2021 – I have been denied my ENTITLEMENTS to work from 2015 when I resigned with the second nervous breakdown https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 for more. I am still getting job offer from colleges as recently as February although I have not been able to secure a job. I was put on BENIFITS and sent to do CAPABILITY FOR WORK ASSESSMENT despite my QUALIFICATIONS.
6. Richard Harty called my mobile 27 September 2021 – I was KICKED out of UEL and this became the patterns of EXCLUSION leaving me ISOLATED from the time I wrote to LEYF Senior HR Dilys Epton am DEPRESSED and DYING SLOWLY of TORTURE. DJ Beecham insisting she will not deal with any other ISSUES breaching the Equality Act Protected Characteristics.
7. 27 September 2021 BARCLAYS BANK – This is the second time BARCLAYS BANK taken my money. The first time I begged the South London Press to publish my story on the 28 May 2004. The second time the money was taken at the counter and when I went to sort the matter I was locked in the BANK for over an hour waiting for the Metropolitan Police whilst my account was closed.During 2004 I had to report concerns to the CRB about practices to do with SAFEGUARDING at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I had an abnormal pap smear and was treated for the next 5 years. In 2025 have HPV virus that can lead to CANCER. Yet a DISABLED NHS PENSIONER does not have a GP.
8. Visit to Decima Road Surgery 27 September 2021 – I did not get the DISABILITY FORM that Dr Joanna Pennack should have corrected and in 2025 I have been removed by 3 GP Practices between 6th December 2024 because I refused to take RESPIREDONE to stop me FUNCTIONING after the death of my HUSBAND.
9. Samantha Gibbs invitation to ASB meeting May 2022 – Samantha Gibbs started working with H4W in April 2022. By this time, I complained to Housing for Women and the Housing Ombudsman Service about the DISREPAIR. Dr Phil Gregory was witness to the disrepair and CMN Hawah Oweh made a report to H4W on my behalf after my visit to Marina House. I was a participant in University of Huddersfield DAMP and MOULD that must be EVIDENCED. Samantha Gibbs is on long-term-sick-leave after she coerced Ms Gilchrist instructed by H4W.
10. Trina Philbert and Candy Smith visit to Alma Grove June 2022 – Candy Smith interviewed my husband on behalf of Southwark Adult Social Care and decided to mediate with H4W on my behalf. She and Trina Philbert visited in June 2022.
11. SONGSTREET APP 2022 – I am the COMPOSER of Brixton Market for Border Crossings SONGSTREET APP. I recorded the song at Raw Material Robsart Street from where I ran to the Brixton Police Station in the summer of 2000 for rescue from DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. This happened between 30 October 2017 to 20 January 2025 at 16 Alma Grove Bermondsey the results of MALICIOUS REPORTS about my MENTAL HEALTH. HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all SUICIDES are associated with UNEMPLOYMENT was used by Barrister Ryan Clement who groomed Winsome Duncan to send the Police to SECTION me despite refusing to act about verbal threats. When I did not commit SUICIDE my husband and I became 600.000 older people in the UK say they get out of the house once a week or less. The past 10 years since the death of my MOTHER I have been excluded and the final straw that breaks the camel’s back is how I was excluded from the DRUMOLOGY at Moonshot after meeting the Artistic Director of IRIE. Based on the following ENGAGEMENTS with the Metropolitan Police and the NHS Ambulance Service the following must be considered as MERVELEE MYERS’ updated EVIDENCE Claim K05EC530 listed for the 7 March 2025 at 10:00, time estimate 1 day, reserved to DJ Beecham. I also want to put on record about the unprofessional conduct of the Solicitors Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell representing me. I received the 2 letters via emails on the 24 January 2025 after complaints were raised, but the complaints have not been addressed. The date he told for the case is 10 March 2025 and I got the COURT ORDER on 26 December 2024 with INACURRACIES.
It is obvious that the Counsel for Mervelee Myers is misleading me about the case and doing everything to make me a VICTIM of Housing for Women and Devonshires Solicitors LLP. This is the pattern of the Systemic Discrimination leading to HMCTS miscarriages of justice from Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust 2003-2008 when I had to resign with a NERVOUS BREAKDOWN after the death of my brother with Colon Cancer. Bereavement and losses playing important factors in the UNLAWFUL INJUNCTION during July – August 2023. Because I was not informed about the Court Order until after the stages from DJ Greenidge to DJ Sterlini labelling me a VIOLENT NUISANCE. The breaches of the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics to be addressed are documented online as social media and YouTube in particular MUST be EVIDENCED.

Date: 20 January 2025 the NHS Ambulance Service was let into 16 Alma Grove Bermondsey London SE1 5PY by Deborah Agnes Gilchrist. I could hear Ms Gilchrist and people outside my door for hours until I fall asleep. When I wake up the next morning a note was pushed under the door. I must put on record the fact that the Met Police and NHS Ambulance Service visited my home on the 30th of October 2017 to SECTION me from a malicious report by Winsome Duncan that I wrote on Facebook I was feeling SUICIDAL is when the fact my photograph was across from a STATISTIC was used to make me a VICTIM. I want the Solicitor and Barrister to take notes of the fact that my book IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE is being used by Westminster HUB to motivate TENANTS to challenge the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution Service. I was given training to use TEAM, and I volunteered to run an ADVOCACY if J I Solicitors were prepared to set one up. The fact that I introduced Ms H Presley to J I Solicitors, and they refused to take her case is clear indication that VULNERABLE TENANTS are not getting representations.
I told J I Solicitors about the claims I had taken out only to be told they can’t help me. But HHJ Richard Roberts can put a Civil Restraint Order on me after DJ Swan strike out 5 of my claims. Let me put on record how J I Solicitors and Barrister Miranda Grell have acted unprofessionally to entrap me with the UNLAWFUL INJUNCTION. During the time when I considered myself VULNERABLE after the death of my husband, I was coerced into accepting Barrister Miranda Grell’s representation. She would only take my case if I agreed to accept, I had breached the injunction that was decided behind my back. My sons Kevin Murray and Valdin Legister were brainwashed into not believing in their mother anymore. Barrister Grell even went as far as telling us about her own “Personal Experiences” and why she trained to be a BARRISTER. I can’t understand why Barrister Grell has decided to entrap me. Since the ZOOM with my sons, I have not had a CONSULTATION with Ms Grell. She comes to Court take the stand and share what she wants with the judge. I recalled once I was trying to tell her how I was made a CRIMINAL needing Emotional Regulation Treatment after the Police came to MURDER ME under cover of www.leyf.org.uk Margaret Horn Lecture on the 30th November 2020. Her response was “If you are a CRIMINAL I don’t want to hear about it. Since my BOOK is being used to INSPIRE TENANTS, I want Barrister Grell to use it in my UPDATED EVIDENCE.
The attitude of the Solicitor leaves much to be desired, and concerns have been raised about his unprofessional conducts with Housing for Women, Devonshires Solicitors LLP and Dr Phil Gregory and the NHS. I confided in Dr Phil Gregory that I was not getting proper representations before realising that Dr Phil Gregory was in the plots to DESTROY me to cover up the SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION. Let me put on record when I find out that Sola Obajuluwa was not working in my favour. After I buried my husband and had the time to go through the BUNDLES from the Court and Devonshires Solicitors. I found the Court Order presided over by DJ Greenidge, DJ Swan, DJ Sterlini and realising I was not informed about them, I decided to take the EVIDENCE with the SENCO job offer from Smart Teachers to be EVIDENCED. I was told that the Court could do as they please and my Witness Statement was already prepared. Representing myself at Employment Tribunals and Small Claims Court, and ECRO, I was confused. That’s when I started looking at the patterns of how I have been treated by the Legal System from Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Although the Psychiatric Assessment I did on the 15th April 2024 stated I can instruct my “Legal Team” I was treated with disrespect. The Solicitor actually asked for the report to be rewritten and no EVIDENCE I provided was taken into consideration. I was in SHOCK when the Solicitor contacted me on behalf of Dr Phil Gregory after his unannoinced visit to my home on the 21st November 2024. His coercive control demanding that I removed YouTube EVIDENCE triggered me and this nearly pushed me over the edge. The Solicitor blames me for not having a GP, when I was made an INACTIVE PATIENT on the 6th December 2024. I don’t understand why the Solicitor gave the Court Dr Phil Gregory’s Medical Report as this is DEFAMATION. But let me make it known that the Solicitor has been colluding with Devonshires Solicitors LLP for me to take RESPIREDONE so they can make MONEY out of me.
That’s another reasons why the ITV News documentary with Queen Camilla will be presented as RESEARCH. I did an interview with the University of Huddersfield about DAMP and MOULD. The fact I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson research paper for the Policy Studies Institute “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” recommended to ACAS. The victims were Samantha Drummonds, her mother Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, her grandmother Dolet Hill, and Denton Burke, Ms Hill’s partner. How did the Police get involved? Police were called by neighbours who heard shouting at home. Police broke into the house and tasered Jacques. What did Jacques admit to? Manslaughter but tried for MURDER claiming MENTAL HEALTH condition. Prosecution: 3 generations of one family murdered. JJ was only 29 years old who FAILED him? BBC News 4/12/2023. BBC 1 March 2024 Jailed for at least 46 years. I have lost four family who won’t come back. I applied for the role of grandmother for grandson with MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. Southwark News Joshua Jacques jailed for life for murder of Bermondsey family. Southwark News did a report at BIB LEYF COVID-19 and I contacted them to help me tell my story.

Focusing on making a meaningful contribution to the world we wanted to see, rather than on scale and unrestrained growth.We started the founding journey confident, having seen through the prototype just how needed the Black Design Guild was, and how impactful it could be. In the end, it was a lot tougher than we expected. ๐ This shouldnโt have been so surprising given the well-documented challenges of finding grant funding (or any funding) for the journey between idea or prototype and delivery or scale. Not to mention the structural challenges of fundraising as a predominantly Black, introverted and woman-led team.ยทยทยทTo support us, we sought advice from the amazing team of Advisors who supported the prototyping phase, reached out to funders, commissioned a grant funding consultant to help shape our funding proposal and bids and even (briefly!) considered wading into the corporate world to fund our core ambitions.We found that in the end, the only thing that worked is the only thing that has ever worked for us as weโve grown other businesses and initiatives.Relationships.Through these relationships, we secured ยฃ400k of funding ๐ธยทยทยทLooking at our initial funding target and plan this would have funded just over one year of the full Black Design Guild programme we had designed.However, in the spirit of boundaries, and a commitment to impact over ego, we agreed with our funders that we would use this to run a streamlined version of the Black Design Guild over the next four years. Troubled histories: UK Caribbeans on King Charles and the royals
British Caribbeans share their views on the kingโs coronation and relevance of the monarchy.
London’s Caribbean community reflects on the monarchy and coming coronation [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
London, England โ Preparations are under way for the coronation of King Charles on May 6, which will mark the inauguration of a new head of state in the United Kingdom after 70 years.
Across towns and cities, bunting decorates the streets, shops are full of memorabilia and fancy dress, and Britons have an extra public holiday on Monday to mark the occasion.
But while a sense of joy feels palpable for many, 64 percent of Britons said they did not care about the upcoming coronation, according to a recent YouGov poll, while 48 percent said they were unlikely to take part in coronation celebrations.
Al Jazeera spoke to some of Londonโs Caribbean community about their views on Charles and the royals, whether troubled histories can ever be forgiven, and the Caribbean push to remove the monarchy.

My father came up here to visit me in 1984, I took him to Buckingham Palace and he was overjoyed. I was so happy to see him happy, however, Iโm 82 now. I donโt feel the same as him about royalty. I donโt believe anyone is better than me, so I treat people with due respect. So, if I saw the king, I would treat him with the respect that he deserves.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
I think the Caribbean should have their own thing. Have something to celebrate their heritage. England has the heritage of the royal family.

No. I have no interest whatsoever. Watching them waste millions of pounds, yet refuse to support or do anything by way of reparations. Itโs amazing how theyโve come up with that money so quickly.
What do you think of King Charles?
He, from what I understand recently, is having a look into the history around the slave trade. So with regards to King Charles, it will be interesting to see more about who he is and what heโs about. However, Iโm 70-30 where heโs concerned, because of some of the racist dialogue that has come out over the years.
What do you think of the monarchy?
Their history is based on colonialism, racism, slavery, corruption. Thereโs not much positive I can really say, unfortunately.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
We have to cut ties. How we became a monarch state in the first place wasnโt because we volunteered ourselves. For us as a people back in the Caribbean, itโs important that we do become independent from the monarchy. I think itโs important that we also tell them to take their military forces out of our countries. You have no business being there.

If Iโm being totally honest with you, no. No, because it doesnโt really interest me.
What do you think of King Charles?
He wants to be in tune with the younger generation. He wants to be more modern, but I donโt know if he really has much power or weight [as his mother]. Because of her silence and her anonymity, that gave her more mystique โ if there were problems, she always kept her mouth shut and dealt with it in a dignified way.
Itโs a different generation now. King Charles is moving into a new era. I donโt know if he has the same kind of gravitas or the same kind of respect that the queen commanded.
What do you think of the monarchy?
My parents are from the Caribbean. They came over in the sixties and I still remember the problems that the British caused for what would be my grandparents or my great grandparents.
[My parents] came over here full of life and they wanted to embrace this country, the motherland. But when they got here, they faced a lot of hardship.
Iโm not really in favour of the monarch, also because of slavery โ a lot of money is still being made from the slavery period โฆ Iโm not really a royalist, if Iโm totally honest.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
I think the generations that are coming up behind us, which would be like our nephews or our younger brothers, even though theyโre scattered in different parts of the Caribbean Islands, they feel the pain that we went through. They want to cut the ties, they no longer want to be dictated to, you know, โOur country: new rules, new school.โ

Let us sort our problems out for ourselves. The problem with the British Empire โฆ they took and they raided and they plundered. The younger generation is little bit more educated on the history that was hidden.

I donโt recognise them. I donโt respect them. I have nothing good. As far as Iโm concerned, they donโt exist.
What do you think of the monarchy?
I donโt think about the monarchy because the monarchy is not there for poor people like us. I think itโs a waste of time. They steal all the properties and just sit there in the tower with all these golds, all the riches, all these diamonds. If they give it back to some of these countries, they wouldnโt be poor and starving. What are you doing with it? You canโt take it with you. The queen is dead. What did she take with her? Nothing.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Well, they should have done that a long time ago. Why are they there? What are they doing for the country every time they turn up what they do? Nothing.

Thereโs a degree of curiosity on my part. Iโm not necessarily going to watch it avidly. But itโs possible I will watch some aspects of it.
What do you think of King Charles?
When I was growing up, he was just like a playboy guy, you know, just gets all the women. I didnโt really have an opinion really about him beyond that if Iโm honest.
But that started to change when he married Diana โ and I watched the wedding. The breakdown of that marriage and how he appeared to treat her, that was something I didnโt like.

He represented perhaps a pernicious aspect of the royal family.
What do you think of the monarchy?
Thereโs a mixture of curiosity, as well as the criticism of the monarchy and what that institution is, and what it represents.
In terms of their involvement in the Caribbean and in Africa, and what they represent as an upper-class institution โ they undoubtedly represent colonialism, slavery. What I would consider some of the most heinous acts have been perpetrated on Africa and the Caribbean.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Whenever I hear the term commonwealth, I often think the wealth was not common. Itโs an organisation that stems from slavery, colonialism, neocolonialism.
โUncle knows whatโs best for you, we know whatโs best for you โnatives, you come under this umbrella and we tell you whatโs best for you. And when we visit you, you dance and you sing for us, and we continue the ravages of colonialism but in a different form.โ

Of course, definitely. You grow up in a certain way, and those are the things you look forward to. So yes, Iโll definitely be watching.
What do you think of King Charles?
Well, me personally, I am respectful of all the elders but my husband would say Charles is ageing and having a younger person might have been more beneficial. We have to prepare the future generation for taking up leadership and managing and doing the work that the older generation once used to do.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Well, it has been done already by Barbados. I come from Jamaica, and they are thinking about it, but my view is, are they ready? Barbados made their preparations and they are out. But in my country, thereโs so much happening in my country at the moment in terms of leadership, crime and all that.

I like them, because I was in Jamaica when the queen of England came here and she drove around and waved to everybody.

When the queen of England used to run Jamaica, it was better.

I am a MENTAL HEALTH & SEND Advocate turned Activist because of my experiences of facing SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION each time there is a BEREAVEMENT or LOSS in my FAMILY. I told Solicitor Sola Obajuluwa if JI SOLICITORS set up an ADVOCACY, I would be able to help tenants like Ms H Presley who found me online because Hermoine Cameron was advocating on my behalf. I suggested that JI SOLICITORS take Ms Presleyโs case to highlight how Housing for Women and Devonshires Solicitors were targeting TENANTS who raised CONCERNS.

ย I have been a participant in RESEARCH about EMPLOYMENT, MENTAL HEALTH and DIABETES. 6 years after I was involved with the above, I am now the VOICELESS, VULNERABLE, VICTIM of Systemic Discrimination covering up 23 years of me being RESCUED from DOMESTIC VIOLENCE by Housing for Women in 2000 to now threatened with IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION in 2025. The only reasons I know of is the fact that like DJ Beecham, I was working in an ENVIRONMENT at www.leyf.org.uk that was an ABUSE RING for Richard Harty MIC and June OโSullivan Drag Queen Storytellers. I stumbled on this fact when I registered at the University of East London and got a call on my mobile on the 27 September 2021 from Richard Harty. When Dr Phil Gregory called my mobile he had the same EFFECT on me, so I recorded the CONVERSATION. ย ย
When I meet with Dr Phil Gregory, I had TRUSTED him enough to CONFIDE in him that I did not believe I was getting the Legal Representation not to be IMPRISONED and EVICTED. I was gobsmacked finding out the Solicitor and Dr Phil Gregory joined forces to ENTRAP me that I do not have CAPACITY. Considering I was advised not to attend Court on the 9 December 2024 and not getting any feedback from the Solicitor except the correspondence from the Court. When I eventually spoke to the Solicitor, I was not given any advice, and I felt the same way that I was being COERCED. The Solicitor claimed to have sent me letters which did not arrive. I did not get any correspondence until a month later. How do I ENGAGE with a Solicitor who refuses to use any DOCUMENTATION I presented to UPDATE EVIDENCE. Defendant is no longer engaging meaningfully with instructing solicitors and has not provided updating instructions. The Defendantโs direct representation to the Court and Claimant puts us in conflict.
MM Arguments: It is Counsel that is in breach and failing to ENGAGE by going to Court behind my back using Dr Phil Gregoryโs Medical Report to ENTRAP me as not having CAPACITY. I have no problems with the EQUALITY ACT ASSESSOR the information to be as part of my RESEARCH into how SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION can impact on persons who CHALLENGE the miscarriages of justice that DENIED MY ENTITLEMENTS to even MEDICAL AID. In the words of Nye Bevan, the founder of the NHS 1948 โNo society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of meansโ. MM Argument of breaches of the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics: I have issues about the dates selected for the trials that are related to the PTSD that the Solicitor Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell should have been aware of if they had acted professionally from taking on my CASE and I gave them copies of IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE. My BOOK is being used by WESTMINSTER HUB to empower WOMEN to challenge the Judiciary of England & Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution Service in having OUR VOICES heard in the COURTS.
I am a MENTAL HEALTH & SEND Advocate turned Activist because of my experiences of facing SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION each time there is a BEREAVEMENT or LOSS in my FAMILY. I told Solicitor Sola Obajuluwa if JI SOLICITORS set up an ADVOCACY, I would be able to help tenants like Ms H Presley who found me online because Hermoine Cameron was advocating on my behalf. I suggested that JI SOLICITORS take Ms Presleyโs case to highlight how Housing for Women and Devonshires Solicitors were targeting TENANTS who raised CONCERNS.

Instructing solicitors have represented the Defendant in the related proceedings under Claim Numbers K05EC530 & K02CL827 since 18 January 2024.
MM Arguments: The Court MUST examine the reasons for the change of REPRESENTATION.
At the hearing on 18 September 2024, the Defendant admitted breaches of the injunction in the Court however the question of whether the Defendant still admits those breaches remains undetermined as the Defendant is no longer engaging with instructing solicitors. MM Arguments: The Defendant wants the COURT to Examine the FACTS of how I was COERCED by Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell to admitting to the breaches by THREATENING not to REPRESENT Me. Since I have settled down after the death of my HUSBAND and looking at the FILES, I realised that I was right in arguing my case of the UNLAWFUL INJUNCTION. The COURT have a DUTY to examine the DECISIONS of DJ Greenidge, DJ Swan and DJ Sterlini and where possible check the COURT RECORDS dating back to https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 where this started. The names of HMCTS, CPS, CJS, SRA, BSB, IOPC, JCIO, CCMCC, HMPPS, CLCC, DBS, MOPAC involved with the Systemic Discrimination must be INVESTIGATED. The INJUNCTION is COVER for HMCTS miscarriages of justice against me dating back to Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust where I had the first nervous breakdown. I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson research paper for the Policy Studies Institute โThe Experience of Multiple Discrimination recommended to ACAS. Before I carried out the โA Voice of a Childโ research project for LEYF CEO June OโSullivan in August 2010. The year the Equality Act Protected Characteristics was made LAW. The relevance of this INFORMATION will be clarified about why I am without a GP with the NHS denying me access to MEDICAL AID.
The Defendant insists on preparing and relying on her own defence the substance of which conflicts with advice given by those instructed and advice of Counsel. In correspondence copied the Claimantโs solicitors, the Defendant indicates that her Legal Team has acted unprofessionally in her matter and sought to entrap her.

I have been a participant in RESEARCH about EMPLOYMENT, MENTAL HEALTH and DIABETES. 6 years after I was involved with the above, I am now the VOICELESS, VULNERABLE, VICTIM of Systemic Discrimination covering up 23 years of me being RESCUED from DOMESTIC VIOLENCE by Housing for Women in 2000 to now threatened with IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION in 2025. The only reasons I know of is the fact that like DJ Beecham, I was working in an ENVIRONMENT at www.leyf.org.uk that was an ABUSE RING for Richard Harty MIC and June OโSullivan Drag Queen Storytellers. I stumbled on this fact when I registered at the University of East London and got a call on my mobile on the 27 September 2021 from Richard Harty. When Dr Phil Gregory called my mobile he had the same EFFECT on me, so I recorded the CONVERSATION. When I meet with Dr Phil Gregory, I had TRUSTED him enough to CONFIDE in him that I did not believe I was getting the Legal Representation not to be IMPRISONED and EVICTED. I was gobsmacked finding out the Solicitor and Dr Phil Gregory joined forces to ENTRAP me that I do not have CAPACITY. Considering I was advised not to attend Court on the 9 December 2024 and not getting any feedback from the Solicitor except the correspondence from the Court. When I eventually spoke to the Solicitor, I was not given any advice, and I felt the same way that I was being COERCED. The Solicitor claimed to have sent me letters which did not arrive. I did not get any correspondence until a month later. How do I ENGAGE with a Solicitor who refuses to use any DOCUMENTATION I presented to UPDATE EVIDENCE. Defendant is no longer engaging meaningfully with instructing solicitors and has not provided updating instructions. The Defendantโs direct representation to the Court and Claimant puts us in conflict.
MM Arguments: It is Counsel that is in breach and failing to ENGAGE by going to Court behind my back using Dr Phil Gregoryโs Medical Report to ENTRAP me as not having CAPACITY. I have no problems with the EQUALITY ACT ASSESSOR the information to be as part of my RESEARCH into how SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION can impact on persons who CHALLENGE the miscarriages of justice that DENIED MY ENTITLEMENTS to even MEDICAL AID. I have just spoken to Vanessa, and I must say I was unable to join the TEAMS. I need your help in publishing my story in the Westminster HUB Newsletter to get people to attend the County Court at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch on the 17th and 10th March 2025 for POSSESSION and COMMITTAL based on the unlawful injunction with CONTEMPT of COURT to silence and gag me. Whilst am the prisoner of my neighbour Debbie Gilchrist who is given permission to continue the GASLIGHTING with the HATE MOB in Alma Grove. I want it known that I was not aware of the Court Order presided over by DJ Greenidge on the 24th July and DJ Swan on the 26th July and DJ Sterlini on the 1st August 2023 when I was labelled a VIOLENT NUISANCE. I am aware of DJ Sterlini because he was on correspondence I received when DJ Zimmell and DJ Rand strike out my claims with Winsome Duncan who stole my manuscript. I have not received my money from the judgement with Barrister Ryan Clement, who groomed Winsome Duncan to find vulnerable black people for them to scam.
In order for the public to understand, I have been abandoned by J I SOLLICITORS of 1-3 Atwell Road, London, SE15 4TW Sola Obajuluwa and Counsel barrister Miranda Grell who went to Court on the 9th December 2024 to make out I do not have CAPACITY. I represented myself at 2 Employment Tribunals and various Small Claims Court hearings. HMCTS miscarriages of justice are documented and the patterns of systemic discrimination are similar in the cases with the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Crown Prosecution Services and Criminal Justice System.
Why should Housing for Women, Devonshires Solicitors LLP, and Debbie Gilchrist who was coerced by Samantha Gibbs, who was employed in April 2022 get away by HMCTS DJ Richard Hayes, DJ Pigram, DJ Bell, DJ Naidoo unprofessional conducts. In the case of DJ Hayes, Barrister Angela Delbourg a WHITE Female telling me I MUST be WHITER than WHITE before DJ Hayes. And after court told me that she was SCARED I would shout at the judge. In the case of DJ Pigram, he threatened to remove Debbie Thomas from the court and stated my HUSBAND was supporting me. Yet DJ Piagram did not see the 100 year old man who was CONFUSED and TRAUMATISED. In the case of DJ Bell I was in SHOCK finding out this is a FEMALE as her name appeared on 7 claims she sent to CLCC for Civil District Judge including Barrister Ryan Clement that JUDGEMENT was passed. Barrister Miranda Grell was in AWE of her but I just viewed her as another CORRUPT judge. She requests that I do Psychiatric Assessment which I attended on the 15th April 2024 after the death of my HUSBAND. As for DJ Naidoo I was not at his/her Court on the 20th December 2023, I had an appointment at the Decima Street Surgery for a Medical Review. I was already STRESSED turning up at court on the 19th to be informed that Stephen Agera from Charles Hills & CO sent email to be removed as my solicitor.
In April 2022 four people were MURDERED by Joshua Jacques in Bermondsey and Mervelee Myers fears for my life since Debbie Gilchrist coerced her RESPECTFUL PARTNER Joe Hooper to target me. I created HUBS on Social Media where I write about stories as “An Expert Authority on Subjects from the Cradle to the Grave”. My intellectual Property, Copyright, Images and CPPDP harvested by social media. The http://www.myvision.org.uk website I created from scratch in 2012 stolen by Guy Lawful and Mark Upton. I can be found online advocating, so why should I be threatened by CONTEMPT of COURT when I was the minute taker of the Customer Scrutiny Panel. Thats how Ms H Presley found me online when Hermoine Cameron was advocating on my behalf.
Maybe DJ Beecham can explain when she became aware of the need for the EQUALITY ASSESSOR and why the GASLIGHTING claiming I don’t have CAPACITY is allowed. Yet a DISABLED NHS PENSIONER do not have a GP.

Thanks so much for reaching out. We really appreciate it.
In our research we’re doing interviews with residents and others who have experience of living with and/or responding to damp and mould problems. We’re asking people about its impacts and about what has and hasn’t worked in addressing these problems as well as what they feel needs to change so such issues are dealt with better.
Its usually myself and my colleague Ayana, cc’d in, who carry out the interviews. Ayana is doing a PhD in architecture, on a related but separate project on damp and mould.
The interviews we do are semi-structured, usually online via Teams and they last 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on how much people want to say. They are semi-structured and quite informal. As its a university led project we do give everyone an information sheet about the project and a consent form.
How does that sound to you? I’m not sure if it helps with the experience you want to build. But if you have any questions about research let me know, and I’ll see if I can answer them.
