Cure Parkinson Association.

I was lying in bed listening to BBC Radio 4 Appeal when my attention was drawn to the mention of Parkinson disease. For me the word Parkinson was like a red flag to a raging bull because of the effects the disease had on my Family when I was younger. Therefore Parkinson is embedded in my DNA and although I am better equipped to deal with it now, before it was a nightmare. I listened to every words uttered by Gavin Hastings as he described the signs and symptoms of Parkinson as they resonated with me. I can empathised with Gavin Hasting and his family when he talked movingly about the impact on his family when his wife was diagnosed with the condition at the age of 39 years old.

I know almost everything there is to know about this dreaded Parkinson disease because of my own personal experiences from an early age. My family that is my dad and younger uncle in particular were affected by Parkinson, and this had very devastating effects on their lives and that of the families. Worse was to come for me when I discovered at the age of 20 years that the only reasons I’d underachieved throughout my school life and until the discovery was that I have Parkinson disease. I guess I should have known earlier about the evidence staring me in the face but I didn’t.

Dad took sick and was signed off from work when I was still at Primary School and died when I was 20 years old. I helped mum with his care especially in the last years of his life because I had become a parent and a stay at home mum whilst mum took on dad’s role of main bread winner. Therefore I had all the time in the world to witness and identify the signs and symptoms of Parkinson that were manifested in my daily life. So from an early age I started experiencing some of the ailments that are associated with Parkinson disease. In later life when I realised that depression was closely linked to Parkinson, I could better understand my changing mood swings when Parkinson decided to take a hold on me. Sadly for me if I had all this knowledge that I have now at my disposal my life might have turned out differently?

I grew up being very angry about having the bad luck of the only surviving girl in the family. Only to be struck down with the same afflictions which rendered my dad useless in every sense of the word for many years of his short life. Unlike dad who had his God along with his Christian beliefs to see him through those difficult years in his life. I had no one to turn to with my dilemma, so I became a rebel and blamed dad’s God for failing us. I just could not understand how the God that dad loved, worshipped and dedicated his every existence to could allow dad to suffer the way he did? Although I had the nerves to question God’s handling of the matter, my dad’s faith in his God never faltered. In retrospect I am more than glad that dad was steadfast in his beliefs and I am happy to say I inherited some of his traits that are priceless and make the person I am today.

By this time I have 2 children so have to stop feeling sorry for myself and get on with this business called life of fulfilling my roles and responsibilities as a single mum. So I set about being accountable by making some life changing decisions to benefit my children and myself. I was already prescribed Valium in my teens and I made my own self-diagnosis that I had inherited my dad and uncle’s condition. There was absolutely nothing I could do about it, so had to live the best way I could manage. I knew without a doubt from I was 20 years old that I have PARKINSON DISEASE and I have tried to live my life around the condition ever since.

With knowledge comes wisdom and power and I’ve benefited enormously from the enhanced knowledge over the years as I have studied and being given opportunities to change my life. But surprise of surprises anyone with my condition are opened to DISCRIMINATIONS because of ignorance. I was penalised for becoming an ADVOCATE applying knowledge to identify children and families with diverse and complex needs so they can benefit from early intervention strategies. I am still facing misunderstandings as my deep concerns are misconstrued to show me in a bad light. These days I am using my knowledge, values and beliefs to good effects hoping my forward thinking visions and aspirations will prevent anyone else going through what I went through in my school life and later.

I am striving to stay away from confrontations because I know that lack of knowledge creates ignorance. As I said when I first embarked on studies at Lambeth College and done a placement at Turney Special School – “You cannot tell by looking…” I know exactly what I am talking about on certain matters because I have the experiences to back up my arguments. These days instead of succumbing to the pitfalls associated with conflicts and confrontations, I spend my time writing about my Life Journeys.

I give my dad’s GOD the honour and praises for seeing me through as I struggle, because I am still a sceptic. However I am a more tolerant person and I am glad to say my condition has not deteriorated any further from when I left Jamaica over 21 years ago. I know I have all the signs and symptoms that will never go away, but I am managing. I may have pass on my condition to 1 of my children but I know advancement in science have brought hopes to persons like me who have inherited a condition like Parkinson. I am detailing my life in writings so one day my family will get the chance to see me in a different light and may began to get a clearer picture of who I am and why I did not become the person I expected to?

Time for even #VoiceNewspaper to give #Black people a #voice to be heard. I have tried but gets the #feeling am not a #celebrity enough. #TheVoiceTalksPolicing should give me a #chance to cover ALL the #topics covered here so far! I have experienced them since the Police failed to act on my concerns then come to #section me from a malicious report. 3 years later they come back their decision must be public. They charge me under CRIMINAL DAMAGE ACT 1971 but telling me my review taking 6 months. what is IOPC for?

Clare Sambrook I intend to do a #research about #ethnicity after those involved in the #discrimination against me. A Sergeant Patel kept commenting on how #fit after I was handcuffed and #beaten up and taken to WPS half #naked. Then asked if I have a British Passport. Good day

This is the first draft of publications as part of my https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site campaign. As I keep saying I would like the Opportunity of getting out of the Hostile Environment the Police joined in with LEYF and others to create. Before publishing am giving those involved to have a say and make amends to 7 years of HELL that impacted on me and my 97+ year old husband. Let me know if my offer is accepted so I can delay publications if they are interested in a consultation.

Listen up Mervelee Ratty Nembhard is not a #teenager yet 4 Police Officers come to my #house on 30/11/2020 after the Mayor of London and MPS Action Plan – Transparency, Accountability and Trust in Policing. Then charge me under the CRIMINAL DAMAGE ACT 1971. But telling me I have to wait 6 months for my #review. What did Sergeant Patel ask me at Walworth Police Station after repeating how FIT I look. Do you have a British Passport. You should read the “Our Decision to Your Complaint”?

That’s when LEYF Nurseries gwaan wid dem fuckery bout disciplinary. My husband said I should pay for Independent Advice, and was told if I didn’t Appeal, I accepted and no come back for me… Now see how the unscrupulous bastards and bitches want to get me to sign away my rights.

Then it was the damn idiot #JohnFenton who lied from the very first day I meet him on the 15th March 2016. By the 8th June 2016, he perjury himself in front of Judge Elliott and my friend Winnie. The @EmploymentTribunal in acting #perverse has been copied into every correspondences where there were breaches. Whether it be with LEYF Nurseries, the Department for Work and Pensions – DWP or whoever. Yet they failed to act. But they can take 5 months to copy and paste the Respondent’s Summary and post online at https://www.gov.uk/…/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years….

Now I am having a warm time with the EAT because of the criminals Winsome Duncan: Author & Public Speaker and her Employment Barrister Ryan Clement. But like the Employment Rep at Advising London, all I am getting again is more crap…. So I am holding my own counsell. This will not be over until the Old Lady sings. Because Dr Maria Hudson of the Policy Studies Institute made recommendations to Acas research@acas.org.uk, www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers.

Each time I am been tricked like in the case of the Employment Appeal Tribunal, trying to manage my disabilities by keeping to the targetted time frame. I noticed I am getting penalised like what was done for having the DNA over which I do not have any choices. Or for taking care of my health so I don’t have to get addicted to prescription medications to cause more problems. So di fucking liad #JohnFenton stating he got no Medical Reports from me. Like how LEYF Nurseries say they don’t have my FILE and have no record of the CEO Long Service Awards I was given in October 2014. How silly can Bates Wells & Braithwraite London get?

I will end with the idiots at the Metropolitan Police Service who must think they are dealing with an idiot? I would advice that person who wrote that letter to go back and look at the evidence the same way I am advising the Employment Appeal Tribunal to look at the facts why #JyotiSharma have to fled LEYF Nurseries and write the review on the website? I will be going after all those who are kotching up on LinkedIn and pretending they are not aware that LEYF operate Modern Slavery practices. Then it will be Facebook.

I have been reading my horoscope from 4 years ago now. As for that stupid Winsome Duncan: Author & Public Speaker, I will leave with her email. Mrs Myers, let’s meet up via a mediation team to discuss your allegations. As it’s so sad to see you tear down another black woamn. It’s obvious you want my attention, now you’ve got it. For your information idiot gal Winsome… All I need is my husband’s money from your #Pimp Ryan Clement. You can pay me up what you owe me… But if you continue to provoke me, you will see who was tearing down whom, when you sent me those emails?

Daily Express Lori Reid – Taurus: Physical tasks and financial affairs come under favourite trends and a real determination to plumb the depths gets the job done brilliantly. Tomorrow is probably a better time to make any fresh moves. Call to hear about that sudden realisation.

I told them I am very astute and I can read people well. This was further reinforced when I attended the Mega Speaker on the 20th February 2017. As a new recruit to JT Foxx Fan Page, I am already benefitting from making that decision to take back control of my life. I am telling you some of them will be in total shock when they realise I am more #Famous than them.

Honestly on reflections lots of what was dished out were down to vagueness the same way some are only #ALLUDING and unable to come up with concrete arguments to support their innuendos.

Now I go put in some time on my #BOOKS! Mek brainwashed people stay there taking their feet tying up their hands and about to pull the self destruct button. So they control them for #21years and getting ready to dump them. As long as they know they have no share in my land that I took out #Loans2Buy, I am more than cool with their decisions!

Daily Express Columnist states “Tech Don’t Lie” and I have all my #Branding to prove it as part of my #DefensivePractice.

I have been through quite a few #Transitions with friends. But there comes those times when one has to get rid of the #Negativity that is like a #SlowPoison taking one’s life?

Bulgaria’s government resigns AP: Bulgaria’s government has resigned after days of violent protests fueled by outrage over rising energy costs, corruption and a general economic decline in what is already the European Union’s poorest nation. Tens of thousands of Bulgarians had turned out in cities across this nation of 7.3 million people since Sunday in protests. They accused their leaders of having ties to crime and demanded that the government resign. James Parkinson’s ‘Essay on the Shaking Palsy’, published in 1817, recognised Parkinson’s as a medical condition for the first time. We mark his birthday every 11 April with World Parkinson’s Day, a day to shine a spotlight on Parkinson’s and our community.

Together, we can create a greater understanding of the challenges people with Parkinson’s and their loved ones face. And it’s a brilliant opportunity to raise funds for research and support services.

Hi Mervelee,

I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying a great start to 2025.

Here at Parkinson’s UK we kicked off the year with the launch of our refreshed brand. Want to take a peak?See our refreshed brand Our last rebrand was 15 years ago. A lot has changed since then, including the priorities of the Parkinson’s community. So we needed to shift our focus to better meet their needs.Refreshing our brand better reflects who we are as a charity and means we can be there for you when you need us.Over 1,000 members of the Parkinson’s community were involved in our brand refresh. We’re so grateful to everyone who took part in the process, from people with Parkinson’s, family, friends and carers, to scientists and health and social care professionals. You spoke, we listened, and together we’ve shaped something really powerful. A TulipSo, why a tulip? Our new logo incorporates a tulip symbol, which represents a pretty special tulip variety. It’s called the Dr James Parkinson tulip, created in 1980 and named after the scientist who first documented the condition in 1817.For every Parkinson’s journeyOur new strapline is ‘For every Parkinson’s journey’. Whether you have Parkinson’s, or know or care for someone who does, we’re here for you when you need us.Explore our refreshed brandThank you for being a part of the Parkinson’s community. We hope you love our new look and focus as much as we do.

Dear participant,

I hope you are well. Thank you very much for taking part in the RAPSODI/PD Frontline  Study. I am reaching out to you today, as we are recruiting participants for an in-person study with us at University College London Hospital.

It’s an MRI study based at University College Hospital investigating small bowel motility in Parkinson’s Disease. During your visit, we will complete a few short questionnaires and a short motor examination. You will then have your first MRI scan which will take a maximum of 15 minutes. You will then drink some liquid slowly over an hour before your second scan. This drink contains mannitol, a sugar that is not absorbed by the small bowel. Although this does not taste particularly pleasant, it is a safe medicine and will help us to visualise the small intestine during your scan. You will be then scanned again for around 15 minutes.

As the scans take place early in the morning (around 8-9am), we can cover for an overnight stay at a nearby hotel if the journey to London would be too long in the morning, as well as travel costs. You would be asked not to take any Parkinson’s meds in the morning, and to come on an empty stomach (i.e. only water in the morning).

This study is suitable for participants with no contraindications for MRI scans (i.e. no metal in their body), with or without Parkinson’s, who are either not on Levodopa or on 4 or less doses per day. Please find the Information Sheet attached here.

Does this sound like something you might be interested in?

I appreciate this is a lot of information, so please do take your time to read through this and let me know if you have any questions or concerns! I would be more than happy to schedule in a phone call to answer any questions you might have.

Best wishes,

The RAPSODI Team

These trials and studies are for those with PD, those that carry GBA mutations, those with both PD and GBA mutations and those without either (controls). Following the recent update about the ASPro-PD study, we will also be providing some more specific information about how the screening referral process will work. The webinar will be followed by a Q&A session where you can ask any questions you may have about trial and study opportunities, these can be populated in the chat throughout the presentation. Please note that any specific queries about your own eligibility are best directed to the pdfrontline mailbox if you are still unclear following the criteria discussed in the webinar (pdfrontline@ucl.ac.uk).The flyer attached provides some key details and a link to register for the webinar – this can also be found below:https://ucl.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_3xh_gTLcQrapzSOArEJHiQWishing you a lovely week,

PD Frontline is a is part of the Rapsodi study. Its primary purpose is to identify those people with Parkinson’s who have genetic risk factor for the disease, in order to offer them participation in clinical trial and other research studies.

The study is an online study based primarily at University College London with recruitment sites at a variety of other centres across the UK. It is in collaboration with Wesnes cognition, AAH software, The Gaucher association, Parkinson’s UK and the Cure Parkinson’s Trust. We thank you for your continued support.

The KHP Rare Disease Network aims to address this balance by drawing on expertise across the partnership to accelerate our understanding of rare diseases and the development of pathways to new treatments. Dr Cristina Dias and Dr Ania Koziell, both King’s College London, explain more.

This is the story of Mervelee Myers in a nutshell that I want to share with the world so people can begin to understand where I am in my life 10 years after my mother died with dementia and I am DEPRESSED and SLOWLY DYING of TORTURE. https://mervelee.com/2024/06/20/without-prejudice-mervelee-myers-abandoned-rejected-by-families-friends-to-face-imprisonment-eviction-23-years-hate-crimes-alma-grove-where-i-was-rescued-from-domestic-violence-target-of-former-employ/
I must take you back to the years 2003-2008 when I was working at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Mapother House Day Nursery. I made the decision when I got the job that I would be working at Kings until I reach pension or return to Jamaica, whichever came first. Nothing prepared me for the discrimination I encountered working in the NHS. I will keep this brief because my stories are documented even though my intellectual properties, copyrights, images and CPPDP have been harvested to build brands. From I joined Facebook in 2009 and others down the years.
After experiencing domestic violence, homelessness, financial abuse, cancer scare and systemic discrimination, I still managed to graduate from The Open University with a Foundation Degree In Early Years between 2004-2009.  During this period I was destined to experience some of the most horrendous hate crimes that anyone can imagine. Because of my “Hidden Disabilities” that I struggled with from my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease. I was always transparent about my needs and worked with the NHS Professionals at the point of my needs so I can function to the best of my abilities. I have a Chronic Anxiety Diagnosis in 2006 for my Health and Social Care examination for The Open University. I could not get a Diagnosis for Parkinson’s because I do not have a Medical Diagnosis. I had the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother and my stories are documented. I published articles about Parkinson’s that were used by other websites. I was interviewed at Walk for Parkinson’s at Greenwich Park https://youtu.be/pmgwr8bTjgE in 2017 and was in the 2018/2019 Parkinson’s Brochure.
I want to focus on my story after the death https://fb.watch/c5NapiTXb-/ of my mother and the impacts on my life 10 years later https://fb.watch/cERJS_gazq/ now am facing IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION and the roles of families and friends in abandoning and rejecting me .  I made my life an “Open Book” from my passion of writing for therapy as a child. I created “Social Media” platforms “Community HUB” creating legacies from the foundations laid by my father and brothers who were storytellers. Little did I know I would be robbed of my intellectual properties and they would be used to discriminate against me. I must lay the blame where it belongs and point out how my brother Ervin Nembhard who was traumatised age 3 years old is responsible for brainwashing my SONS against me in 2009. I was trying to make peace between my 2 younger brothers when this happened at the Family Reunion I started in 2009. On reflections my woes started in 2009 and I will now have to do a documentary to clarify matters in my mind. In 2009 I graduated from The Open University. I had the first nervous breakdown working in a toxic work environment after the death of my brother with colon cancer. As a result I started my first fundraising with Cancer Research Race for Life http://www.cancerresearchuk.org/privacy-statement  and later went on to join more charities.

I created my own website http://www.myvision.org.uk from scratch in 2012 as well as my own YouTube Channel and joined LinkedIn on the memo of the http://www.leyf.org.uk CEO June O’Sullivan to contribute to her blog. Therefore, I need support to share with the world the roles of those with friends in “High Places” that made me a CRIMINAL needing Emotional Regulation Treatment to cover up the “Abuse Reviews” posted online during the Employment Tribunal in 2017.
LEYF Nurseries
Welcome to The London Early Years Foundation, changing the world, one child at a time.
http://www.leyf.org.uk
I have had my share of disappointments representing myself without any legal knowledge. After I decided that I would not be achieving anything from my https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site and https://philosphyofbrains.merveleeadvocacy.business.site I decided to focus on making mine and husband’s life the best we can have. I was then hauled into court and facing systemic discrimination to push me over the edge to be HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. When I did not commit SUICIDE my husband and I became 600,000 older people in the UK say they leave home once per week or less.
In wrapping up I want the world to understand how TRAUMAS caused me to become a victim when my brother encouraged me to go to university. I was sent into Richard Harty MIC Abusers Rings at the https://uel.ac.uk when my brother advised me to study for my “Mental Health”. Little did I know my brother would turn my family against me and declare me MAD.
I have buried my husband and is picking myself up hoping to SURVIVE the hate campaign of my stepson Trevor Anthony Tomlinson to go to Jamaica to launch MONIQUE & MERVELEE ADVOCACY FOUNDATION. Everyday that I wake up I give God the praise. But I wish I did not have to be living like this. My rights taken away whilst am facing IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION for speaking my truths. I will continue distancing myself from those who ABANDONED and REJECTED me to be made a VIOLENT NUISANCE.
Please help me get my story across.
Regards
Mervelee Myers
