Catch up on the recording if you missed it. Thank you to everyone who joined the virtual Meet the Ombudsman and team on 15 May. At the meeting, colleagues from the Ombudsman answered questions which had been asked via the Resident Panel hub. The answers have now been posted and can be viewed on the forum. MM Response: Based on concerns raised across the internet, Richard Blakeway, the Housing Ombudsman, is not fit for purpose. I am speaking on behalf of Ms H Presley, who found me online when Hermione Cameron was advocating on my behalf. We were MEMBERS of the Housing for Women Customer Scrutiny Panel set up by Hony Premial the author of the ASB Policy. As the minute taker, I request that additional charges be levied at the HOS Reference JJ-6939-3232 and 03453454345 that was scheduled for the 14/10/2024 at 14:30. But which never materialised until I was sent email by HOS solicitors. Because I raised complaints about the HOS before putting in my claims I will use my Social Media platforms sharing the STORRIES. As I will not be getting any justice from HMCTS. Ask the Ombudsman on the Panel hub. If you missed the meeting, you can catch up on the recording via the link below. Watch the recording on YouTube. Terms used in the meeting. During the session, we mentioned government activities that will impact the work of the Housing Ombudsman Service. Below, we explain the terms that were used and provide links to where you can find out more information. MHCLG – Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government Government department previously called the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities. MM Response: Based on my work at http://www.leyf.org.uk representing the CEO, June O’Sullivan,n at Consultations and writing publications. Meeting Michael Gove at the LEYF Annual Conference in 2011 when I applied for the Post Of Lead Early Years Practitioner and was the only LEYF staff member shortlisted, and did not get the job, resulting in another breakdown. Then Michael Gove was at Housing throughout the time Housing for Women decided to breach the Equality Act Protected Characteristics, Mervelee Myers will change the NARRATIVES about why I am without a GP and EVICTED and on SUSPENDED SENTANCE when “The Expert Authority on Subjects from the Cradle to the Grave can be found online wearing many HATS. MM Response: The world will be informed as DJ Sara Elizabeth Beecham refused to accept IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE, that could have helped her in not breaching the Equality Act Protected Characteristic in the future. We will host focus group sessions to discuss the roll-out of this scheme towards the end of this year. MM Response: Can the matter of Housing for Women and Devonshires Solicitors LLP discrimination of Ms H Presley and Mervelee Myers be addressed ASAP. Find out more about the government. Awaab’s Law Legislation in the Social Housing Regulation Act (2023) requires landlords to fix health hazards in social housing within specific timeframes. MM Response: What about Ms H Presley and Mervelee Myers’ experiences, leaving us being pushed to the edge to commit SUICIDE? The law was introduced following the death of 2-year-old Awaab Ishak, who died from exposure to damp and mould in his social rented home. MM Response: I did a RESEARCH for the University of Huddersfield about DAMP and MOULD. Dr Phil Gregory was shown the MOULD and DISREPAIR when he visited 16 Alma Grove. The first set of legislation around damp and mould will be rolled out in October 2025. We will be hosting sessions with MHCLG over the next couple of months to discuss how the introduction of Awaab’s Law will impact landlords’ services to residents. MM Response: By then, those involved with the HMCTS, DJ Sara Elizabeth Beecham, breaching the Equality Act Protected Characteristics, grooming Tristan Salter of Five Paper Chambers, should be safely in JAIL where they belong. In light of recent happenings with the Housing Ombudsman Service and Housing for Women, I am updating the HOS about Crime No: 4221169/23100 NOTICE AND DEMAND 202209405. I am still awaiting a response to the letter dated 03/04/2025. The HOS Richard Blakeway is not the only parties I am waiting to hear from. I have not heard anything from the County Court at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch about the ORDER.
Considering it is World Parkinson’s Day and after I challenged DJ Sara Elizabeth Beecham that if Mervelee Myers become HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. Her response mumbling was not as professional as she claimed Tristan Salter and I conducted ourselves.
DJ Beecham failed to turn up for the next Court Session instead a RANTING RAVING LUNATIC with a dead SHEEP on his head showed up trigger my ATYPICAL PARKINSONISM. I was unable to function for days. I called out the London Ambulance Service on the 24 March 2025 because I do not have an NHS GP. Later on the same day I got a call from the LAS saying they were doing a Welfare Check over the telephone. A male and female turned up at my house accusing me they heard I was BURNING the place.
I would be grateful if HOS can respond to the member of the RESIDENT PANEL and the Minute Taker of H4W Customer Scrutiny Panel before Zaiba Qureshi disbanded it in 2020.
All information about the FAKE COURT ORDERS will be EVIDENCE against HMCTS .
awaiting your response.
Hi everyone,
Thanks for the great support for Mervelee today. They allegedly made a “POSSESSION ORDER” as well as a “SUSPENDED SENTENCE” and a ban on social media plus costs totalling some £90,000.
A miraculous feat, as there is no evidence that a possession claim or prosecution was ever Issued by the Court.
Southwark Council even confirmed as much in writing.
Had it not been for the support of the five brave souls, they would have eaten her alive.
There is a lot to take away, and Mervelee has several options. But for now, she just needs to restore her energy.
Despite all the above, I feel she achieved a partial success. One to sustain her sanity, and 2, they refrained from committing her to prison.
We wait to see the Sealed and Signed physical order and its terms, and take it from there.

Thank you for giving your time Mervelee, As we approach the end of the year, we want to say a huge thank you for everything you do to make our progress possible. Our brilliant team of events volunteers support more than 400 events up and down the country each year. From marshalling in local parks for Race for Life, to lighting up city streets on Shine Night Walks, your energy and passion power our events. Every hour you give makes a real impact for people affected by cancer.
Here’s what happened with the time you gave:
More than 200 volunteers were at the heart of our 2024 sports fundraising events. Their support meant that 17,800 participants raised a total of more than £8m.
Events volunteers gave their time to support more than 313,000 participants across all our events this year to raise over £40m.
This fundraising means we can continue our work to bring about a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.
Together we are beating cancer. Laura Parsisson, Head of Volunteering.
A big thank you this festive seasonAt Cancer Research UK, we think it’s the little things that matter most – the significant moments we can easily take for granted. They are so precious, especially in the festive season and especially for people affected by cancer.
Every year, thousands of incredible people give their time to support our life-saving research. And it’s thanks to research that people affected by cancer can have more time for more of the little things, this festive season and beyond.
Michelle Mitchell, our Chief Executive, has recorded a special video message to thank you for your incredible contributions this year. Hear Michelle’s festive message to you
Wendy’s storyDedicated events volunteer, Wendy, has supported at Kings Lynn Race for Life for the past 15 years.“I first took part in Race for Life many years ago when I worked for Mars as the community champion. After becoming a runner, and having been sponsored for another 10k race, I didn’t feel like people would sponsor me again, so I started volunteering. I dragged my two daughters along to help too and some work colleagues. And so, the habit became!”
Wendy acts as an incredible ambassador and brings a group of family and friends along to help at the event each year.
“This year was just the same as usual – about 15 of us came and covered all the marshal points, and even covered some admin too.”
This year, Wendy was awarded an Honorary Fellowship at our annual Flame of Hope Awards in honour of her remarkable contribution to volunteering at Race for Life events.
Volunteering highlights from 2024From volunteer fundraisers joining comedian Rhod Gilbert on tour to fundraise through cash collections, to Campaigns Ambassadors visiting the Houses of Parliament to help keep cancer on top of the political agenda.

Equality, diversity and inclusionEquality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) matters to Cancer Research UK because it plays a vital role in achieving our vision of a world where everybody lives longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer. We believe we can make the greatest progress for people affected by cancer by making sure that the impact of our research is felt equally by everyone, that our expert information is accessible to all, and that everyone who works or volunteers at CRUK feels that they belong.
Our first EDI strategy, published in 2021, was a good starting point, but we know we have more to do. That’s why we’ve published our refreshed EDI strategy, which sets out how we’ll keep making progress over the next five years.

Housing Ombudsman Service Responsible For Mervelee Myers Scared Of Acting On Suicidal Thoughts.
As a member of the Resident Panel, Mervelee Myers is exercising my rights as a vulnerable person who has been let down by the Housing Ombudsman Services and Mr. Richard Blakeway in particular to the point where after attending Court on Wednesday 18th September 2024, I came away feeling SUICIDAL. After leaving Court I attended my appointment with Dennis Kamara and was in time to hear him talking with a female on the phone. The purpose of the talk was Dennis was arranging support for me with Mental Health Older Adults Service 02032286920. After leaving the appointment I had to take my “Marriage Certificate” to the Job Centre to get it scanned to send off to get Bereavement Support Payment. I visited a friend of mine and was too SCARED to come back to my home where I no longer feel SAFE. I sleep on his sofa and leave early next morning. I have not eaten a proper meal in days and having DIABETES does not help my situation. I had to call the Police again when my neighbour started shouting abuse at me and threatening to come down to SORT me out. CAD 7435/16SEP24 and I have an appointment to be interviewed on the 22/09/2024. I have been living like a PRISONER at Alma Grove London SE1 5PY since I was forced to barricade myself in on Christmas eve 2022 for over an hour. The Safer Neighbourhood Team was supposed to contact me from then, am still waiting. Let me share more recent information about my engagement with the Metropolitan Police that will expose “A New Met for London” as a cover for GASLIGHTING and MISOGYNY in breach of the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics in the UK in 2024. No Blacks No Dogs No Irish. CAD 5710/12SEP/24 and CAD 5309/0Aug24 and CAD 3200/19May24 and CAD5569/17May24 and CAD 4631/17May24. Now I would appreciate if the Metropolitan Police do their job of SAFEGUARDING the author of IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE whose Book Sir Mark Rowley signed in Brixton, please.
As a participant in research from the time 2010 when the Equality Act Protected Characteristic became law. I participated in Dr. Maria Hudson’s “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” for the Policy Studies Institute recommended to ACAS. In August 2010 I conducted the “A Voice of a Child” project for www.leyf.org.uk CEO June O’Sullivan working at Luton Street Community Nursery. Let me reference an article of the 8th March 2019 “In Honour of International Women’s Day & Celebrating my Husband’s 96th Birthday”. For why the Housing Ombudsman Services and the Judiciary of England and Wales and the Crown Prosecution Service and Criminal Justice System are responsible for Mervelee Myers threatened with IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION via CONTEMPT of COURT. With each SUICIDAL thoughts that I am getting because of the orchestrated DISCRIMINATION after the death of my MOTHER with DEMENTIA and I wrote to LEYF Senior HR Dilys Epton that am DEPRESSED and DYING SLOWLY of TORTURE. I experienced another miscarriages of justice https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 for more.
https://youtu.be/GfxJh1QOPTI understand why I am aggrieved that whilst YouTube is trying to make me a VOICELESS VULNERABLE VICTIM like HMCTS has done with the injunction based on Housing for Women 23 years of not acting on my concerns. YouTube is making MONEY advertising on my CRY for help that I consider can make the SUICIDAL thoughts become reality.

Make Things Right Campaign: Mervelee Myers wants to share information about the Systemic Discrimination and Miscarriages of Justice starting at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust 2003-2008 when I had the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother wit colon cancer. To 2024 when my husband was neglected on BYRON ward and on the 6th April 2024 after attending the Windrush Vigil in Brixton Nurse Betty called Security I was ABUSING STAFF. I was removed from my husband’s bedside and ended in A&E at St Thomas’ Hospital. I never saw my husband again until he died on the 8th and they waited 6 hours to inform me. Since LEYF CEO sanctions the DISCRIMINATION and labels me Unprofessional, Uncoorporative, Rude, Intimidating, Confrontational, Aggressive – Lacking Empathy (UURICA-LE) after I fronted OFSTED at BIB in September 2014 and was given the CEO Long Service Award. Let me put the Government in the spotlight. In 2011 I meet Michael Gove at LEYF Annual Conference. I represented LEYF at a Consultation with the Communities Secretary Eric Pickles. I wrote an Open Letter to PM David Cameron in October 2015. I write another Open Letter to PM Theresa May in 2017 and take out a PETITION that was rejected. This was the same year when Winsome Duncan sent me 3 REVIEWS on LEYF website about the abuses at LEYF Nurseries. By this time I was able to access LEYF websites. I was removed by LinkedIn that ended stealing 3 accounts, the first with 69 PUBLICATIONS.
Let me put on record that the Housing Ombudsman Service must be accountable for the Ms. Presley and Mervelee Myers who have been made VOICELESS by INJUNCTIONS because of the failures to act when we raised concerns. If I did not promise to stop SWEARING I would. What is meant by the GOVERNMENT is seeking volunteers from the Housing Ombudsman Resident Panel to participate in an EXCITING research project? The campaign aim to EMPOWER housing TENANTS to raise issues and make COMPLAINTS if they have PROBLEMS with their HOME or LANDLORD.
Let me tell the Housing Ombudsman Service that I have signed up, but the world will know more about how HOS is responsible for Mervelee Myers’ predicament where am SCARED of acting on my SUICIDAL thoughts.
As a participant in consultation with CRISIS and Adrian Jackson as a member of Cardboard Citizens let me say I have averted a Grenfel Tower where I have been living the past 23 yeas as a result of “Domestic Violence” because of greedy contractors. I was a member of the Housing for Women Scrutiny Panel as the minute taker. Ms. Presley found me online because Hermoine Cameron was advocating on my behalf on Twitter.
My complaints reached “Stage2” and then my DATA was wiped from the Customer Portal. When I see Women’s Housing Forum @Denise473 and Zaiba Qureshi from H4W co chairs the Women’s Housing Forum, highlighting the demand for affordable homes for women, and our collective vision… I am wondering why H4W is not highlighted in the Housing Ombudsman Service severe maladministrations? I am ANGRY seeing Housing for Women 01 September 2024 “Despicable to see people trying to profit from people directly affected by the housing crisis x.com/independent/St…
I will end by saying it is a dying shame on the Housing Ombudsman Service to be operating like WOLVES in SHEEP clothing whilst Housing for Women tenants like Ms. Presley and Mervelee Myers are GAG with threats of IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION via CONTEMPT of COURT because H4W employ Devonshires Solicitors LLP to send me letter of repossession in July 2023. I want the HOS to go track my online RECORD of seeking help. I even contacted my MP Neil Coyle who has been in touch with H4W. I am sat in doors hoping they will come and fix the toilet seat again, before my visitor arrives from abroad. I told the person I have spoken to I don’t want my vistor to come see me in the state am in.
I have an appointment for an interview next Friday, I got up feeling SUICIDAL. The person at CRISIS 08007312864 Victor has only made matters worse. As an EYFS coordinator SENCO and Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator at LEYF, I will take back control and let the world know how the person who was the face of “Windrush 70” is being treated in the UK after the contributions I made.
Kindest regards
Mervelee Myers FD (Open)

Resident Panel update – 19 September 2024 Dear Resident Panel member
We recently released our severe maladministration report on temporary moves – which is where residents are moved out of their home due to required works. This report comes ahead of the introduction of Awaab’s Law, which has specific requirements for landlords on temporary moves where there are risks to the health and safety of residents.
Severe maladminstration is the most serious failure the Housing Ombudsman can make, where there is evidence of serious detrimental impact to the resident so these reports are vital for learning and highlighting where things can be improved across the sector.
The impact of our recruitment drive Between April and July this year we completed 713 more investigations than in the same period last year – a 41% increase. We would like to thank anyone that has an open case with us for their patience as we continue to grow and evolve to meet demands on the service.
How the Housing Ombudsman investigates complaints Invite to take part in government research about landlords communication with residents The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) would like your views to help support and inform their Make Things Right campaign. The government is seeking volunteers from the Housing Ombudsman Resident Panel to participate in an exciting research project. The campaign aims to empower social housing tenants to raise issues and make complaints if they have problems with their home or landlord.
The Government is looking for volunteers to join 2 focus groups to understand people’s experiences in how their landlord communicates with them about their reporting and complaints process, including any pain points that exist, and what they would like to see in how their landlord communicates with you.
The sessions will be led by our marketing agency, 23red, who will create the final campaign. The focus groups will bring together a small group of tenants to answer questions and discuss experiences around landlords communicating their social housing complaints processes.
When are the focus groups? To participate, you need to be free to join both of the focus groups via Zoom on the dates below.
Wednesday 25 September from 5pm to 6pm
The first focus group is a guided discussion around resident’s experiences.
Thursday 17 October from 5pm to 6pm
The second focus group is to build upon discussions and give feedback on ideas being developed
How to take part If you are interested in taking part, please send an email to residentpanel@housing-ombudsman.org.uk confirming that you would be available for both these dates.
Please note there are a limited number of slots therefore we will confirm if you have been selected as a participant for the focus groups.
After you are confirmed to participate, we will share your email with the marketing agency 23red, who will be in touch to provide more information, share the consent form, and answer any questions you may have.

Join our special interest discussion on complaints about Antisocial Behaviour (ASB) on Wednesday 16 October 5pm to 6pm Join this Resident Panel special interest discussion about the role of the Housing Ombudsman and how we look at complaints about landlord’s handling of antisocial behaviour.
We have a factsheet about antisocial behaviour complaints on our website and would welcome any suggestions to additional information you think would be helpful or is not answered on the page.
We also want to hear how your landlord responds to antisocial behaviour including any changes to its process, policies, good practice, or where you think it could be doing better.
Please note, due to limited time for this session we will not discuss individual cases of antisocial behaviour.
Register for the meeting on 16 October How the Housing Ombudsman handles complaints about ASB fact sheet Claims farmers
During the Resident Panel meeting in June, over 55% of you told us that you had been approached or seen an advert for a disrepair claim company. We have been hard at work informing regulators, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Solicitiors Regulation Authority of their actions and to push for change, and had conversations with the Ministry of Justice. This is a great example of how the input from our Resident Panel really can make a difference across the sector.

14 June 2024 Dear Resident Panel member
You will have heard the news that a General Election is happening on Thursday 4 July. As an arm’s length public body, the Housing Ombudsman’s work will continue, however we will not publish any determinations during this time known as the pre-election period. We are also not able to discuss any matters that might be viewed as political at speaking events, however, we are pleased to let you know that the first Resident Panel 2024-27 meeting will still take place next week via Zoom, as planned.
Resident Panel meeting on Tuesday 18 June We are looking forward to meeting those of you that have signed up to join next weeks’ meeting which will take place via Zoom on:
Tuesday 18 June 2024 at 5pm to 6pm
If you have not signed up yet and would like to attend, then please register below.
Register to join the meeting Ask the Ombudsman At the meeting the Housing Ombudsman will be answering questions you sent us following our last email to you.
Thank you to those of you that submitted a question for the Ombudsman. We received a lot of excellent questions and will try to cover as much ground as possible.
It is unlikely that we will have the time to cover every query at this first meeting, but we hope to use this regular mailing dedicated to our members to share learning and continue to improve the information on our website.
Any questions that do not get answered at the meeting, we will provide a written response after the election.
Do you need help using Zoom? Our Resident Panel is made up of residents that live in social housing across all areas of England. As a national panel, all our meetings take place on Zoom.
We have put together this helpful guide to let you know what to expect from virtual meetings – from how to register to the meeting itself.
How panel meetings work What it means to be a panel member Since the panel’s appointment, we have received several queries about incentives for panel members. As a member of the Housing Ombudsman panel, you will receive invitations to join meetings with the Ombudsman and its team, asked for your say on consultations, and to provide evidence to our reports and asked for feedback via surveys.
The Panel will meet around 4 times per year, and we will also sometimes invite you to join smaller, topic focused groups based on the information that you provided when you applied to join.
We understand you have busy lives, and we would like to stress that there is no requirement to respond to every request for information or attend every meeting.
As a member of the Housing Ombudsman Resident Panel, you will get to:
Share your experiences Tell us about your experiences to help us identify areas where services can be improved and help us make sure residents are at the centre of our work.
Shape our service Attend regular meetings with the Ombudsman and have your say via short surveys, consultations, and virtual discussions. Your feedback will give residents a voice in everything we do.
Learn more about the Housing Ombudsman Be the first to hear about the work we are doing to improve landlord services and how it will positively impact residents living in social housing.
Talk to others We want to make sure our service is accessible to all residents that live in social housing. As a Panel member, you can help us reach residents in your local community and raise awareness the service.
Please note that you will not be paid for being a member of the panel, and we cannot provide IT equipment. We are also unable to discuss individual complaints at meetings or via the resident panel inbox.
If you need help with a complaint about your landlord please contact the Dispute Support team via info@housing-ombudsman.org.uk
Resident Panel Charter Housing issues the Housing Ombudsman can consider Some of the questions we received were about housing issues that fall outside of our remit to consider. The Housing Ombudsman considers complaints about the housing management activities of a social housing landlord – for example, complaints about repairs, property condition and its response to reports of antisocial behaviour.
We cannot look at complaints about how a local authority allocates properties through its housing register or their duty to provide homelessness assistance. These complaints should be referred to the Local Governement and Social Care Ombudsman.
More information on the housing issues we can consider is available on our website. It would be helpful to get your views on this page – you can provide website feedback via our website or send it to us directly at residentpanel@housing-ombudsman.org.uk

King’s Complaint Reference 3446 LG LEWIS, Gayle (KING’S COLLEGE HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST)gaylelewis@nhs.net
To: You Thu 18/04/2024 15:14 You replied on Wed 05/06/2024 07:48 You replied on Wed 05/06/2024 07:48 Dear Ms Myers,
My name is Gayle Lewis, and I am a Patient Complaint Officer at King’s College Hospital. My reason for contacting you is to introduce myself and to confirm we are taking the concerns you raised about your recent experience at King’s forward through the formal complaints process. The Trust aims to have investigated your concerns within 40 working days. Once our investigations are complete we will send you a formal response in a letter from one of our Executive team. If at any stage we find we need more time to complete our investigations we will contact you to inform you of this.
I have read your account of what happened and apologise that this led to you raising a complaint.
To aid our investigation into your concerns, I have listed key points that you have asked us to respond to.
· Complainant arrived to witness Mr Tomlinson falling out of bed, the nurse accompanying the complainant did not notice this
· Complainant decided to video events as wanted a record of the incidents that took place
· Complainant states that nursing staff were abusive towards her and not caring for her husband appropriately
· Security staff were called and ejected (roughly handling her, causing her fingernail to break) her from the building – she asked for her coat which was returned with money missing from the pocket.
· Was safeguarding in place for complainant’s husband
To ensure we understand the key points within your complaint that you would like answered and to ensure a thorough investigation takes place, I want to ensure that I have accurately presented your key concerns. It would also be helpful to understand the outcome you are seeking. Typical outcomes from raising a complaint would be:
• An official explanation in the form of a written response.
• An apology for a poor experience.
• Process improvements to help ensure a similar occurrence does not happen in the future.
• Potential retraining for staff, if identified through the course of the investigation.
I would be grateful if you could confirm this is a fair reflection of your concerns for our investigation. If this is not correct, or you have additional issues you would like us to investigate, then please contact me to confirm these points.
If you need communication support such as an interpreter or information in another language, audio, Braille, Easy Read or large print, please let me know. If there is anything you wish to discuss about your case, please either email or contact Olivia on 0203 299 4515.
