I am still unhappy because as a result of raising concerns about the SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION against my husband and I, I am now being PENALISED by the NHS going back to when I worked at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Mapother House Workplace Nursery 2003-2008. During one of the most difficult period in my life, I was removed from Nexus Health Group after Dr Joanna Pennack acted unprofessionally in preparing a Medical Report to help with my case when the Housing Association served me with POSSESSION LETTER in July 2023. As well as the way my husband and I were treated at Kings College Hospital on the 6th April 2024, I had to be dealing with the GASLIGHTING from individuals and organisations and the Legal Systems SOLICITORS representing me, colluding with the Courts and Housing Association trying to make out I do not have CAPACITY by falsifying my Medical Records. I registered at Silverlock Medical Centre and because I refused to take RESPIREDONE that Dr Phil Gregory prescribed, I was made an INACTIVE PATIENT on the 5th December 2024 when I showed up for my Blood Test Review. Dr Phil Gregory and Nurse Hawa Oweh showed up at my home on the 21st November 2024 unannounced. I assumed this was to INJECT me to carry out the NHS plots that I have identified to support the Housing Association POSSESSION and COMMITAL Proceedings that are in the Courts. I have since had correspondence of THREATS from INDIVIDUAL and NHS Organisations. Dr Phil Gregory got YouTube to remove videos proving his UNPROFESSIONAL CONDUCT when he called my mobile. Dr Peter Ocansey and Georgina replaced Dr Phil Gregory and Nurse Hawa Oweh turning up at my home unannounced twice. I realised that Dr Peter Ocansey is in contact with the Solicitor the same as Dr Phil Gregory. The aim is to say I don’t have CAPACITY to let the Housing Association IMPRISON and EVICT me. I registered at Acorn and Gamount Surgery and the same happened when I was sent message to book appointment about my Blood Test Results. I was made an INACTIVE PATIENT again. I asked for the results of my Blood Test to give to the Dentist who is trying to save the teeth I have left. Twice I have done Blood Test and refused the results. I asked for the results to be sent to me, if I am not allowed on the premises. I was told I would get a letter from the NHS. On the 17th February I was in a CRISIS and called the AMBULANCE. CAD 0902 – The Ambulance Professionals contacted the SURGERY and was told that LOOK OUT FOR EMAIL/CALL FROM PATIENT CARE SERVICES REFERRING ME TO THE SPECIAL ALLOCATION SYSTEM. ONCE YOU ARE REGISTERED WITH THEM TELL THEM ABOUT ONGOING SHAKING AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ISSUES. The fact that Dr Peter Ocansey and Georgina turned up later, is proof there is a PLOT to SECTION Me under the Mental Health Act. Attempts have been made on my life to SECTION, MURDER and KIDNAP me between 30th October 2017 – 17 February 2025 when Dr Peter Ocansey showed up unannounced again. I have my evidence to prove my arguments about why I have been referred to PATIENT CARE SERVICES/SPECIAL ALLOCATION SERVICES from December and no efforts made for me to REGISTER. The world will be informed of how a DISABLED NHS PENSIONER who cared for my HUSBAND for 10 years is now a VICTIM of the NHS as soon as he died, NEGLECTED on BYRON ward where I was MANHANDLED. If I was not a STRONG JAMAICAN WOMAN, I would be HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistics of 1 in 5 of all SUICIDES are associated with UNEMPLOYMENT. When I did not commit SUICIDE, my husband and I became 600,000 older people in the UK say they get out of the house once a week or less. The fact I am PUBLIC will put the NHS to shame because of what is happening to me at 16 Alma Grove where I am a VICTIM. I am a PRISONER in the home I got because of DOMESTIC VIOLENCE where Met Police and London Ambulance Service is sent on MALICIOUS CALL OUTS about my MENTAL HEALTH. Based on the recent ITV News documentary with Queen Camilla am sure the NHS will want to ac

None of the ISSUES I raised in my COMPLAINT were addressed. Instead, the main COMPLAINT of Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust was WHITEWASHED like when I represented myself at the Employment Tribunals. Because of the nature of my COMPLAINT and subsequent OUTCOME, I want to put on record that as a result of my taking KINGS to the Employment Tribunal, I was a participant in Dr. Maria Hudson’s research paper for the  Policy Studies Institute The Experience of Multiple Discrimination recommended to ACAS. My involvement in RESEARCH and FUNDRAISING will make it IMPORTANT to ACT before the WORLD gets hold of this. Because I posted videos online that were viewed by 700K persons. I have platforms where I can publish the stories that make the founder of the NHS Nye Bevan “No society can legitimately call itself civilised if a sick person is denied medical aid because of lack of means. As the face of Windrush 70 let me mention that MARCUS GARVEY was pardoned stated “If we as people realised the greatness from which we came we would be less likely to disrespect ourselves”. I will be starting my series of PODCASTS, it’s up to the NHS if they want to be portrayed in the NEGITIVE light of Gayle Lewis of PALS or the 23 years old Jake who visited my home on 17th February 2025 to help care for me. Because the NHS think it’s OK to try make out I do not have CAPACITY to cover up their roles in the MISCARRIAGES OF JUSTICE AGAINST ME AND MY HUSBAND. I am COPYING from here. In the words of MAYA ANGELOU “Mervelee Myers face many defeats in life, but giving up was never an option, and I will not be defeated”. Please get a copy of IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE” for reference.

The impacts started at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust 2003-2008 when I had the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother with “Colon Cancer”. Information can be found in Dr Maria Hudson’s research paper. I had to start my career from the bottom of the ladder because of blacklisting and networking back then. Move forward and Dr Joanna Pennack failed to fill my DISABILITY FORM correctly for the UEL. This reinforces the STEREOTYPE why Richard Harty kicked me out of the UEL to cover up MIC at LEYF. The fact I had raised concerns at Kings about children at risks from UNQUALIFIED STAFF, I am sure with NEGLIGENCE identified in the cases where the NHS acting UNPROFESSIONALLY resulted in DEATH of INNOCENT persons. I am living in a situation where I am not SAFE. Members of the NHS named are party to attempts to SECTION, MURDER and KIDNAP me.   To use my MENTAL HEALTH against me in denying me MEDICAL AID will get the world talking… The impacts lasted from I had the first nervous breakdown to getting MANHANDLED. The NEGLECT of my HUSBAND will never go away. The fact that I had the first High Blood Pressure after I was sent POSSESSION letter is another factor. But my son who came here to support me is affected with High Blood Pressure because he is SCARED about what can happen to his mother. My husband was HEALTHY until 3 months before he died. The DISCRIMINATION by the NHS is responsible for his early demise. The fact that there is information online about this COMPLAINT will cause the world to take stock of what is happening to the Windrush Generation. My contributions to the NHS as an EMPLOYEE will be identified.   I have had counselling at the Maudsley that is now party to the DISCRIMINATION. I am a participant in research: Employment, Mental Health, Diabetes and was asked to do a video to encourage the BAME Community to take the COVID-19 Vaccine. I am a fundraiser and volunteer.

It is time the NHS stop acting UNPROFESSIONALLY when concerns are raised to help them improve practices. Instead of covering up their UNPROFESSIONALISM in the REPORTS that was sent to me. Dr Maria Hudson’s research paper was not acted on. The fact that the impact on my health left me VULNERABLE is another factor. But worse of all to deny a DISABLED NHS PENSIONER, Medical Aid and COLLUDING to use my MENTAL HEALTH against me will be made PUBLIC. I will celebrate my husband’s birthday with the card I got from the King and Queen for International Women’s Day. Maybe Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and all parties might want to contribute. I am expecting an APOLOGY and COMPENSATION.

Because my husband left a small amount in his WILL for the NHS and I am grateful to have been employed in an environment that helped me to be EMPOWERED I am expecting to get the highest amount

I would like to offer you and your family my deepest condolences at what I imagine is still an extraordinarily difficult time with the sad loss of your husband. While we appreciate feedback from our patients and their relatives, I must address the language used in your correspondence. It is important for us to maintain a respectful and constructive dialogue that fosters understanding and resolution, and I believe that the tone of your complaint did not align with this principle. I hope I can reassure you that your complaint has been investigated fully. Your complaint was shared with Dr Dan Wilson, Clinical Director, and Ms Felicia Kwaku, Head of Nursing, who are responsible for monitoring the quality of care within the Acute Specialty Medicine Care Group. Matron Yamu Njie, Patricia Ikhena, Ward Leader Byron Ward, Dr Ambika Irving, Byron Ward Consultant, and the Security Team at Kingโ€™s College Hospital have investigated your concerns, and it is with this information that I am responding to you. I have addressed your concerns in line with how you have raised them. Your husband was admitted on 9th March 2024, with generalised weakness, hypothermia, and confusion. On reviewing Mr Tomlinson in the Emergency Department (ED), it was noted he was confused and therefore not able to provide a good clinical history. He was transferred to Annie Zunz Ward and later moved to Byron Ward on 10th March 2024. During a visit whilst on Byron Ward you found Mr Tomlinson sliding out of bed and were alarmed that the nurse did not seem to notice. I am very sorry for the distress caused; this is not the practice we expect from our staff. Staff are expected to regularly check on patients especially those unable to independently manage their activities of daily living. This would include repositioning the patient, checking their toileting needs, and offering drinks. My sincere apologies that this did not happen on 2 3446 this occasion. This has been discussed at daily handovers on the ward since your complaint, to reiterate to staff the need for regular checks on patients who need additional support. I am sorry that you felt the situation required you to video events on Byron Ward. Family and carers should have confidence that our staffs are providing appropriate, patient-centred care at all times which should include adequate supervision. I apologise if you felt that this was not the case in this instance. You mentioned that the nurse looking after Mr Tomlinson became abusive to you when you started filming him. I am sorry that you felt the nurse responded inappropriately. As part of the investigation, the nurse was interviewed, and CCTV was reviewed. During the interview with the nurse, he explained that he felt uncomfortable being filmed hence requested for you to stop filming and delete the video. No combative behaviour was evident on the part of the nurse. The nurse went on to explain that he was concerned that your recording might breach the privacy and dignity of other patients on the ward. It is appropriate for our staff to advocate for other patients. Since he felt uneasy, he reported the issue to Betty, the Nurse in Charge. Recording our staff without their consent constitutes a breach of our policies regarding privacy and recording in our facility. We take the privacy and rights of our employees very seriously, and such actions are not permissible. We kindly ask that you refrain from recording any staff members in the future and respect their privacy. Betty arrived at Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s bedside to ensure he was more comfortable and made an attempt to diffuse the situation. Unfortunately, this led to an altercation between you and Betty. Other nursing staff reported that you were raising your voice, and they were concerned about the other patients in the room. Speaking with Nurse Betty, she explained that she was unable to de-escalate the situation. NNurse Betty does not recall shouting at you, but does remember asking you to calm down. You asked her to leave the room. In order to respect your request, she did so but, for the safety of her staff and patients, she had to contact Security to ask for their support. The care group is undertaking a review of incidents where staff escalate to Security in order to diffuse situations. They have identified that the escalation process for these situations needs to be clearer and shared with our staff. The staff directly involved on this occasion have been reminded that this could have been handled differently. A call to more senior nursing staff on duty would have been more appropriate before involving security staff. I apologise that this was not considered at the time as it may have resolved things sooner. Encounter with Security You raised concerns about the security staffโ€™s response when they assisted you to leave the hospital premises. I am sorry that you felt you were manhandled. However, after carefully reviewing the footage captured by the body-worn video cameras (BWVCs) worn by our security staff, it is evident that they maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the incident. Despite facing personal and derogatory remarks from you, including racist comments directed towards them and accusations 3 3446 of being a paedophile, the security staff remained composed and focused on their responsibilities. The footage clearly depicts the security staff calmly explaining to you the reasons for their intervention and subsequent request for you to leave, which was initiated at the request of the nursing staff due to their concerns regarding your behaviour. After initially walking off the ward, you stopped, so two security staff briefly assisted you to move forward by holding your arms. When you refused to cooperate, they promptly released their hold upon reaching the lift lobby, allowing you to proceed unaided into the lift. Additionally, the security staff can be heard confirming with nursing staff, prior to you leaving, that your departure would not impact the patient’s care, ensuring that the situation was handled with consideration for all involved parties. Furthermore, when you were in the lift lobby, you mentioned leaving your coat in the patient’s room, the security staff promptly retrieved it from the nursing staff and returned it to you without any indication of interference or theft. We are sorry that you felt discriminated against or harassed, the security staff aimed to ensure your safety, the safety of your husband, and the ward staff. It has been reported that you used inappropriate language, including racist slurs, which is completely unacceptable. We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for our employees, patients, and their relatives. Such language not only violates our policies but also undermines the values we stand for as an organisation. We ask that you refrain from using any form of discriminatory language in the future. Discharge arrangements Mr Tomlinson was first seen by the consultant Dr Irving on Byron Ward on 14th March and you were contacted by her later that day. You confirmed that you wanted Mr Tomlinson to come home for end-of-life care and so this remained the plan from the ward team. The occupational therapy team spoke to you again on 18th March to confirm your understanding of the plan for discharge. On 20th March, the team were told the existing package of care had been cancelled on Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s admission to Kingโ€™s and so the team sent a new request for care to Southwark Social Services. This was for two carers to come four times per day, which is the maximum support social services can offer. On 22nd March the ward staff received a call from your husbandโ€™s social worker to say she had spoken with you. The social worker asked the ward team to contact you as she was worried that you seemed overwhelmed by the situation and the discharge plans. Dr Irving called you later that day to go through your concerns and you expressed that the equipment that had been ordered had not yet arrived, but that also you were not happy for your husband to remain at home on his own in case 4 3446 you needed to go out to attend appointments. Dr Irving suggested a care home as an alternate place of care in this case and you agreed this may be more suitable for you. A decision was therefore made for Mr Tomlinson to be fast-tracked (an urgent request for a place to be found) to a nursing home the following week; both you and Trevor (Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s son) were in agreement. The paperwork for the Fast Track was sent on 26th March. The ward were asked to provide some more information before the funding was approved. This was sorted out by Dr Irving. The fast-track paperwork was approved on 28th March. The team awaited feedback about which nursing homes had availability. On 3rd April, Mr Tomlinson deteriorated, and it was felt he was in the last days of his   On 3rd April, Mr Tomlinson deteriorated, and it was felt he was in the last days of his life. Tower Bridge care home was due to assess him that day. Trevor was updated that Mr Tomlinson may not be well enough to transfer, and the chaplain was contacted. On 4th April the clinical team contacted you and explained that Mr Tomlinson was likely approaching the last days of his life. It was explained that Tower Bridge care home had felt Mr Tomlinson was too unwell for transfer and that he was at high risk of deteriorating, perhaps dying, in transport if he was moved at that point. You understood this and acknowledged that Mr Tomlinson was likely โ€œno longer aware of his surroundingsโ€ and would not have wanted to die in transport. It was agreed that if your husband remained stable, then the team could always restart discussions with the care home with a view to discharging him there if he stabilised. You were happy with this plan and said you were due to visit later that day. Mr Tomlinson did not become more stable and sadly passed away at 06:30hrs on 8th April. The nurses tried to reach you several times by telephone finally contacting you at 10:29hrs to inform you of Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s passing; you said you would come to the ward as soon as possible. Later that morning at 11:58hrs the ward manager tried contacting you but there was no answer on any of your known contact numbers. Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s son was at his fatherโ€™s bedside, and he advised the team of other contact details. Three alternative numbers were provided and tried but they either reached voicemail or failed to connect. In most circumstances, deceased patients are moved off the ward after a short interval. You did not want Mr Tomlinson to move from the ward to the chapel of rest until you could say goodbye. Once you arrived you were able to spend some time with your husband. Palliative Care input The palliative care team are not routinely involved in all fast-track discharges and do not always see all patients approaching the end of their lives. The palliative care team are not routinely involved in all fast-track discharges and do not always see all patients approaching the end of their lives. Your husbandโ€™s Advance Care Plan had been updated by the consultant on the ward and there was 5 3446 a plan for a referral to community palliative care on discharge. However, when he deteriorated on the 3rd/4th April, a referral was sent to the inpatient palliative care team. They undertook a remote review when they triaged the referral. They noted that his end-of-life symptoms were being well managed by the team on Byron Ward and they did not have any other input at that stage. They were happy with the ongoing plans to support Mr Tomlinson for end-of-life care in the hospital at that point. They would likely have reviewed your husband on Monday 8th April; however, he died in the early hours of that day. We are sorry that we were not able to support your late husbandโ€™s return home for end-of-life care. All efforts were made to allow this to happen with the correct equipment, care package, and support. We also appreciate that caring for someone at home even with lots of support can be very stressful and we fully understand the need for you to ask for a change of plan. The Byron Ward team worked with you and Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s son, Trevor (who both hold LPA for health and finances) and you both agreed that the plan should change to transferring him to a nursing home for end-of-life care. The team were not aware at any stage that you wished for this plan to revert back to a discharge home. We would like to thank you for taking the time to highlight your concerns. We aim to give our patients the best possible treatment and we are sorry your experience has not been entirely positive. Please be assured that we take your concerns seriously and will continue to monitor the quality of the care that we provide at Kingโ€™s College Hospital. If you are not happy with how we have dealt with your complaint and would like to take the matter further, you can contact the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman. The Ombudsman makes final decisions on complaints that have not been resolved by the NHS, government departments, and some other public organisations. Their service is free for everyone. There is a time limit for making your complaint to the Ombudsman so you should do this as soon as possible. To take a complaint to the Ombudsman, or to find out more about the service, please go to http://www.ombudsman.org.uk or call 0345 015 4033. Today is World Cancer Day. An international day that takes place each year to raise awareness about cancer and encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. At Cancer Research UK, weโ€™re marking today across our social media channels, and shining a spotlight on our work as the worldโ€™s leading cancer charity, dedicated to saving and improving lives through our research, influence and information.

This week, we have two new opportunities to get involved. Weโ€™re asking about your experience of volunteering and being part of the Involvement Network at Cancer Research UK to help us improve the way we work with our volunteers in the future. The next survey asks what information youโ€™d need to help you make an informed decision when considering a clinical trial.

Cancer Research UK has launched a ยฃ10m Cancer Data Driven Detection initiative, transforming how we assess cancer risk to advance early detection and precision prevention. Weโ€™d like to thank the network members who are involved in this important piece of work to help to revolutionise research and deliver real-world impact.

I hope you have a lovely week and thanks for your continued support and involvement in our work.

Media Volunteer newsletter –
February 2025Dear Media Volunteer,As many of you will know, today is World Cancer Day. This annual event gives us the opportunity to remember those lost to cancer but also the progress we have made in cancer research over the years. It also acts, of course, as a reminder of why we must keep raising awareness and funds for research.

Weโ€™ve been marking the day with activity including Tommy (pictured above with his grandson) featuring in emails from Ticketmaster, one of our Corporate Partners.

Tommy, who appears in our โ€œWe Areโ€ Brand campaign, took part in our TUXEDO clinical trial after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer.

It has also been a busy start to the year in other respects, with more information below about the relaunch of Race for Life, new films for our Legacy campaign and new posters in our shops supporting our work on cancers affecting children and young people – all supported by media volunteers like you.

Finally, we’d ask that you consider completing our latest volunteer survey to help shape how we work with our volunteers across the charity. More details below!Thank you for being a media volunteer.

Best wishes,

My name is Mervelee Myers who was made an INACTIVE PATIENT on the 6th December 2024. I was asked by the Dentist treating me to get my Blood Test results as part of the treatment. I would appreciate if I could get same  ASAP for my next appointment. The BT result is needed to know what treatment is best to save me losing all my teeth as a result of having diabetes and other underlying conditions.

Awaiting your response.

Thanks

Mervelee Myers.

I was not asking to do a Blood Test, I am asking for the last Blood Test results when I was booked to have a Review on the 5th December 2024 and got to the appointment and told I am INACTIVE PATIENT. I have some recordings.

Please let me reiterate that I need the last test for the Dentist ASAP. I was told over the phone I need to come in and do Subject Access Request.

I don’t want to come in and be accused of anything, so before I come in I would appreciate if some guidelines are sent to me.

I was told someone would contact me about the reasons I was made an INACTIVE PATIENT. A month later I who is a DISABLED NHS PENSIONER is without a GP.

I would appreciate if you can let me know when to come in to get my DATA for the Dentist.

Kind regards

Dear Mervelee,

Happy New Year! 2025 marks 10 years of the Patient Involvement Team and weโ€™ll be celebrating this, and the Involvement Networks milestone birthday over the coming months! In the meantime, we wanted to share some highlights from last with you.

This week, weโ€™ve also included a video about the current public consultation the government are running to help shape the NHS 10-year plan. We want to ensure the voices of people affected by cancer are heard through this consultation to help improve cancer care and outcomes for everyone.

Our team, and the work we do, isnโ€™t possible without your help and support. Your input, however small you think it may be, helps to shape our work which will enhance the lives other people affected by cancer in the future. Thanks to the invaluable contributions made last year.

We wish you a prosperous New Year and look forward to working with you throughout 2025.

Best wishes,Jozie on behalf of the Patient Involvement TeamVisit our opportunities page to see the latest ways to get involved

Hello, Mervelee!Happy New Year! Is it too late to still say that? I hope not, because it’s too soon for the energy and goals and ambitions of those resolutions to start slipping. One of my resolutions this year is to eat fewer sweets and empty carbs…I need you all to hold me to that! (Please don’t send me any cookies, even though I want them!)And of course, I renewed for another year my ongoing resolution to write at least one poem per month. What were your resolutions for this year, both as a person and as a writer? For your writerly resolutions, we might even share some (anonymously if you’d like) to serve as inspiration for others. And there’s nothing like telling others to help you stick to a goal.  As for Atmosphere resolutions, one of our new year’s goals you’ll be seeing as soon as this month. That’s to provide you with more free tools to help you as a writer. So get ready to see things like an Author Brand Action Planner and a Book Publishing Timeline Calculator. We’ve been working hard on these free tools, and they’ll be coming your way before you know it.In the meantime, stay warm and keep writing!Best,Nick

To Whom It May Concern

I have to tag the Solicitor representing me in this email because there is information that is relevant to K02CL827 and for nothing to do with the Claim that Nexus Health Group rejected. I will deal with this matters as I have just responded to the rejection via my Portal before the deadline on the 21st October 2024.

For Nexus Health Group information, I did not ask for any Consultation dated 18/01/2024 but 18/9/2024 when I was in Court for the above mentioned. I know it can be hard to get my speech out when am under pressure and getting targeted VERBALLY and PHYSICALLY and in WRITING and over the TELEPHONE. Please accept my apologies.

I will use the following to briefly address the matter of why I have to seek the COURT to address the Medical Gaslighting and Misogyny and breaches of the Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristics by the failure of Dr. Joanna Pennnack in filling the DISABILITY form correctly when I was accepted by the University of East London. Nexus Health Group has been given every chance to correct the MISCONDUCT but instead chosen to deny me access to treatment. As the face of ITV News page 1 coverage Windrush 70 Mervelee Myers must use “No Society Can Legitimately Call Itself Civilized If A Sick Person Is Denied Medical Aid Because Of Lack Of Means” Nye Bevan Founder of the NHS 1948. Am positive the NHS have more to lose if the stories from 2003-2008 at Kings when I had the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother was to surface? But to neglect 101 year old ARNOLD EBENEZER TOMLINSON on BYRON Ward and assaulted me after removing me from his bedside is another matter. I have another appointment on the 26th September at the Hospital. Let me add that Dr. Joanna Pennack “Report Writing” left much to be desired.

In response to your request for a letter with more information, please see below. I am a GP working at the surgery Mervelee is registered at. Please note that my previous clinical interaction with Mervelee consists of 3x 10minute consultations since 2017. MM Response: I have no memory of those consultations. However, 2017 was one of the most difficult year for me and the GP Practice should have been aware. Maybe see https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 for more information

Please note that time allocated by the surgery for completion of this letter was 20minutes, MM Response: Working as an EYFS Coordinator, SENCO and Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator am appalled at Dr. Pennack having the nerves to admit that the SURGER allocated her only 20 minutes to write a report that can determine if am IMPRISONED and EVICTED after the death of my 101 year old husband.

I am note able to be as thorough as I would have liked, and I am also not sure that I am going to be able to add much to the thorough psychiatric report that was completed in April. MM Response: You have no reason to make any decisions about been as thorough as you like. All you had to do is put information together from DATA in the system. You ask for specific mental health conditions โ€“ she was diagnosed with anxiety and depression several years ago (first coded in 2018). MM Response: Where do you get this information from about 2018? My Chronic Anxiety diagnosis was July 2006 for my Health and Social Examination with the Open University. The only exam I had to do because I chose courses to be able to achieve because of my IMPAIRMENTS

There was a query of bipolar disorder made by my colleague Dr Evans due to paranoid behaviour, pressure of speech, labile mood MM Response: I will have to find out more about this as I have no memory of this. Hence, I contacted you after you put the Aids Test in without being honest what your thoughts were when I visited you about Weight Loss noticed by the Professionals at appointment at the Hospital.  (please note formal bipolar disorder diagnoses are not generally made by GPs, this is something our psychiatry colleagues do). A CMHT referral was done but rejected, they asked she see the mental health nurse first, but it appeared this never happened, although she does now have an appointment at the end of August with the mental health nurse at the surgery โ€“ if the nurse feels CMHT input is needed she may then do a re-referral. Of note, CMHT did assess her in 2022 and found no evidence of bipolar disorder or psychosis. MM Response: When I organise my online Live Broadcasting under Mervelee Myers Consultancy Fight4justice as a Mental Health & SEND Advocate for the Early Intervention Strategies KEY to SURVIVAL. For my grandson with Speech and Language Delay, I will expose those covering for my former employers at www.leyf.org.uk and Nexus Health Group for breaches of the Equality Act

Mervelee also reports that she has an eating disorder (Describes some days she cannot eat or drink anything at all), although I cannot find evidence of a formal psychiatric diagnosis of eating disorder. MM Response: Here we go again. Did I not say that my father and uncle had Parkinson’s? I developed “TRAUMAS” as a result of Disabilities and Poverty, but because I do not have a “Medical Diagnosis for Parkinson’s I cannot claim Parkinson’s as a DISABILITY. What you claim colleague Dr Evans due to paranoid behaviour, pressure of speech, labile mood is none other than the signs and symptoms of my “Atypical PARKINSONISM”. That is hard to diagnose and treat. I don’t need a diagnosis to say if I eat or not. My mother had the same condition.

You mentioned โ€˜disability issuesโ€™ โ€“ I am not quite sure what you are asking? MM Response: Shame on you Dr. Pennack.

She has a past medical history of type 2 diabetes and knee osteoarthritis, although I cannot see any recent documentation on how the arthritis has affected her. MM Response: I did have Physio, and I do lots of walking. With aging come the exacerbation of any conditions. Sometimes my feet are swollen and painful and my toes dropped, and reason am visiting the hospital and was asked to make appointment for review. There are times when my hands crumble and I cannot use them

There are no documented complications of her diabetes, it is well controlled. MM Response: Controlled as all my other CONDITIONS until I am pushed over the edge and triggered. Reasons Nexus Health Group will be exposed with NHS England and Maudsley NHS and Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Southwark Council Adult Social Care and Southwark Health Ambassador and Housing for Women and Housing Ombudsman Service and Devonshires Solicitors LLP. Others will be listed.

It is such a SHAME that it has come to this after the support I was given over the years to live a normal and fulfilling life until Dr. Joanna Pennack and Nexus Health Group decided to use Medical Gaslighting and Misogyny against me.

Yours sincerely,

Yours sincerely,

I met with Ms Myers in clinic at Marina House today alongside her allocated care coordinator, Hawa Oweh (CPN).

Background

Ms Myers is a 65-year-old female, not previously known to the Southwark Older Adult CMHT, however previously under working age mental health services. Ms Myers was referred to our team by Dennis Kamara, a mental health nurse in primary care. He requested for an assessment of diagnosis and treatment options, with information that Ms Myers has a long history of low mood and anxiety with some previous underlying trauma and recent stressors including her housing association taking her to court and ongoing disputes with her neighbours.

The following information about Ms Myersโ€™s mental health background is taken from available electronic mental health records.

Ms Myersโ€™ mental health records date back to 2017 where there is a Merlin report from police with concern about Ms Myers struggling with her mental health following a tribunal, with also a mention of her receiving previous support from the Maudsley. This however doesnโ€™t appear to have been followed by input from secondary mental health care. In 2021 there are a number of contacts with the crisis line and referrals to CMHT (working age), outlining concerns about low mood, anxiety and suicidal thoughts for the past 7 years since her mother passed away. Other contributory factors noted included the death of a neighbour the previous year and being charged with criminal damage and attending court in April 2021. Ms Myers had also spoken about the death of her brother and developing depression and an eating disorder as a result of discrimination at work. Another referral to CMHT in 2021 reportedly from Southwark council outlined concerns of Ms Myers feeling police were being sent to kill her. There was also a phone call from a mental health practitioner from the University of East London (student wellbeing service) expressing concerns about Ms Myersโ€™ mental health and possible bizarre and paranoid behaviour.

In 2022 Ms Myers was assessed following a GP referral by the Southwark Assessment & Liaison Team. This assessment noted mental health difficulties appearing to commence in 2014 when Ms Myers was reportedly persecuted in her place of work, having worked as an early yearโ€™s practitioner. It was reported that Ms Myers was being accused by her nursery in Southwark of being โ€˜uncooperative, rude and confrontationalโ€™, and was under investigation, and then left due to ill health. Following this, she received 12 sessions of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the Maudsley. Following this, Ms Myers had reported not being able to gain paid employment, but had worked voluntarily in mental health research, been involved in various organisations and online podcasts, and was also featured in a book about Windrush. Ms Myers had reported an incident of the police in 2021 attending her home and beating her, and that she now has a criminal record and has been turned down for jobs due to her criminal record check (CRB). She had reported feeling she has been targeted by certain people she used to work with and there was a pattern. The impression of this review was that there was not any clear evidence of depression or psychosis, that past events have been very stressful and that Ms Myers could benefit from further talking therapy. She was then referred to IAPT.

In 2023 and going into 2024 there were a number of referrals to CMHT, due to concerns about Ms Myersโ€™ mental health. There was reference of Ms Myersโ€™ housing association seeking legal action due to antisocial behaviour. In December 2023 Ms Myers was reported to have called 111 herself reporting feeling hopeless about the threat of eviction from her home and having ongoing issues with her neighbours. In March 2023 Ms Myers was brought to A&E by the London Ambulance Service reporting worsening mental health. No evidence of thought disorder or psychosis observed and GP was advised to review Ms Myers and consider a referral to mental health services.

In September 2024 Ms Myers was referred to the Southwark Older Adult CMHT by Dennis Kamara, mental health nurse in primary care. There were concerns related to her behaviour and posting references to suicide in her social media. Ms Myers was seen by Dennis in primary care alongside her son Kevin who had travelled from Jamaica where he lives. There were reported issues with housing, neighbours and family. She has lived in her current address for 23 years and has been having issues with neighbours banging her door and making malicious complaints about her to the police. The housing association has reportedly taken an injunction against her and she is at risk of eviction and the case is currently in court. Her son had reported the reason for this being Ms Myers putting up inappropriate material online about the council and refusing to take it down. Her son had mentioned Ms Myers storing urine for months to throw it at her employerโ€™s property and

putting up comments on social media about feeling suicidal, which Ms Myers admitted to, however, stated she would never do this due to her Christian faith. There was also concern from Ms Myers about a camera being placed in the shared communal doorway by her neighbours, that it initially faced towards the street however now has been turned directly at her. She had reportedly denied feeling the neighbours watch her when she is in her flat however, the only issue is when she is coming through the communal front door.

Recent progress

Ms Myers was initially assessed by our team on 08/10/24 at home by Joseph Mukuba, Community Psychiatric Nurse. Following this, I decided to assess Ms Myers myself to help come to a psychiatric diagnosis and consider treatment options.

I have subsequently reviewed Ms Myers in clinic on 16/10/24. During this assessment Ms Myers described to me in detail her background history to date, including the trauma in her upbringing (physical abuse from mother, father dying when she was a young age), and her first marriage to a controlling husband resulting in domestic violence. Ms Myers talked about losing her mother 10 years ago, and around the same time being forced out of working as a nursery nurse and following this receiving therapy. Ms Myers talked about the issues with her neighbours persecuting her, which have worsened over the years, and her recent bereavement of her husband a few months ago.

On 23/10/24 Ms Myers contacted 111 and LAS due to feeling in โ€˜crisisโ€™ after her grandniece left having stayed with her without saying goodbye. I visited Ms Myers at home on the 25/10/24. During this visit, Ms Myers described in more detail the persecution she reports experiencing from her neighbours, whom she believes are trying to kill her, leading to her feeling unsafe at home. She reported since her husband passed away, she has been more careful in locking her front door and that if she didnโ€™t do that โ€˜I would be deadโ€™. Ms Myers showed me the doorbell camera her neighbour set up on the outside of the shared front door, and how she believes the neighbour is using this to monitor her coming in and out of her home. Ms Myers talked about her neighbour kicking on her front door every day to provoke her and her belief that her neighbours want to try to provoke her into confronting them, which would then give them an excuse to harm and kill her. Ms Myers has explained to me how she believes other neighbours are also siding against her and that she also feels under threat from the police and housing association, all working together against her.

On review

I summarised the purpose of review to complete the assessment following the referral to our team from Dennis Kamara, primary care mental health nurse.

I asked Ms Myers how she has been since we last met. She talked about the housing association not coming yet to fix her toilet seat, as well as the mould on her kitchen door and the damp in her windowsill. She reported attending her drumming group and doing a performance and spoke positively about this. She brought up about her neighbours continuing to try to provoke her since we last met. Ms Myers spoke about the neighbours โ€˜stompingโ€™ on the floor loudly to provoke her. Ms Myers agreed that she believed the neighbours were trying to kill her. I recalled her previous statement to me that she believed the neighbours were trying to provoke her so that she would in turn confront them, and this would give them the excuse to try to kill her. Ms Myers accepted this is what she believed. She stated she would not attack them herself and is trying to keep to herself. Ms Myers

said recently she stayed at a friendโ€™s house overnight as she didnโ€™t feel safe to return home. I asked about the camera. Ms Myers continued to report that she believed the camera on the doorbell was there to monitor her movements. She said she is trying not to think about this. She stated being more frustrated about her doorbell always being rung.

Ms Myers made a statement about never wanting to โ€˜give upโ€™. I enquired about whether she experiences suicidal thoughts. Ms Myers stated this has been misconstrued and referenced a poster or piece of literature she was pictured in, that had the quote about people being unemployed, being at risk of suicide, and said this quote was then attached to her. Ms Myers did admit to having last had a suicidal thought in August this year, when her son was visiting her and she talked about her door being kicked. She didnโ€™t report having experienced any plans or intent to act on this. Ms Myers stated there was no chance that she would come to harm via her own means. She has previously stated her Christian faith as a protective factor.

I summarised to Ms Myers what she had explained to me over the last 3 meetings leading to my opinion about her mental health diagnosis. This included Ms Myersโ€™ description of her earlier life and trauma she experienced, the domestic violence in her first marriage which led to her separating and being saved by the housing situation, the loss of her mother 10 years ago around the same time as stopping working as a nursery nurse. Then over recent years with the increasingly difficult situation with her neighbours, beliefs that they are provoking her by monitoring her movements, trying to kill her and banging on her door, leading to her receiving a possession order which may potentially result in her being evicted and a possible custodial sentence due to being in contempt of court. Then more recently the stress of losing her husband. I explained to Ms Myers my impression that as a result of the build up of stress over these years that her beliefs and experiences about the neighbours could be explained by her being unwell with paranoia and psychosis. I explained that this is a condition that we could provide treatment for, including both antipsychotic medication, and psychosocial support, including psychology for psychosis. Ms Myers said in response to this that she had experienced some paranoia in the past. She said she accepted this was my explanation of opinion about her mental health. Ms Myers said she was willing to try medication if it would help. Ms Myers explained she had recently been to her new GP for vaccinations and blood tests, I advised I would check the results of these and then give her a call next week to see whether she would like to go ahead with starting antipsychotic medication. She agreed to this and accepted a patient information leaflet about risperidone. She confirmed having our contact numbers in case needing to get in touch in between appointments. Hawa confirmed she would make an appointment with Ms Myers when she had started on her medication to monitor how she is doing. We also discussed social activities and community groups, Ms Myers knew of Time & Talents and didnโ€™t want to attend there, however appeared keener in Blackfriars.

Mental state examination

Ms Myers presented on time, she was well kempt, wearing a diabetes charity t-shirt, engaged well, reasonable rapport established, maintained eye contact, speech slightly pressured however, interruptible and voice not raised, mood reported as well and objectively appeared euthymic with reactive affect. Mild thought disorder evident with circumstantial responses. Describing persecutory delusional thoughts about neighbours trying to kill her and monitoring her movements. No reported auditory hallucinations and didnโ€™t appear to be responding to unseen stimuli. Appeared well orientated to time and place. Insight partial however took on board opinion about diagnosis and agreed to consider treatment options explained.

Care Plan

1. I have provided written information for Ms Myers for an antipsychotic medication – risperidone. I advised I will check Ms Myerโ€™s most recent blood tests with her GP and call her following this to see whether she would like to start risperidone or not.

2. I will send this assessment letter to Mrs Myers, and she is then able to share this with her solicitor for her current court case.

3. Ms Myers is assigned a care coordinator in our team โ€“ Hawa Oweh, CPN โ€“ who will monitor Ms Myersโ€™ mental state and risks and support with psychosocial interventions.

4. Hawa Oweh has agreed to make contact with the housing association to support Ms Myers with fixing her toilet seat and other house matters needing repair.

5. Ms Myers confirmed having contact numbers for people to call, including the Samaritans, our team number during working hours (0203 228 2240) and the SLAM crisis line out of hours (0800 731 2864)

Yours sincerely,

Dear Mrs Nembhard-Myers-Tomlinson,

Thank you for your email of 9th April 2024, regarding the treatment your husband, Mr

Arnold Tomlinson, received under the care of the Byron Ward team at Kingโ€™s College Hospital. I would like to offer you and your family my deepest condolences at what I imagine is still an extraordinarily difficult time with the sad loss of your husband.ย  While we appreciate feedback from our patients and their relatives, I must address the language used in your correspondence. It is important for us to maintain a respectful and constructive dialogue that fosters understanding and resolution, and I believe that the tone of your complaint did not align with this principle. I hope I can reassure you that your complaint has been investigated fully.ย  MM Response: I will address this matter with the detailed information needed and post online. So PALS is aware of the PTSD that have been caused from 2003-2008 when I have the first nervous breakdown at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust Mapother House Day Nursery. For their information I was the key worker for Charlotte Moberley the daughter of Nick Moberley.

Your complaint was shared with Dr Dan Wilson, Clinical Director, and Ms Felicia Kwaku, Head of Nursing, who are responsible for monitoring the quality of care within the Acute Specialty Medicine Care Group. Matron Yamu Njie, Patricia Ikhena, Ward Leader Byron Ward, Dr Ambika Irving, Byron Ward Consultant, and the Security Team at Kingโ€™s College Hospital have investigated your concerns, and it is with this information that I am responding to you.ย  I have addressed your concerns in line with how you have raised them.

Your husband was admitted on 9th March 2024, with generalised weakness, hypothermia, and confusion. On reviewing Mr Tomlinson in the Emergency Department (ED), it was noted he was confused and therefore not able to provide a good clinical history. MM Response: My husband was assessed at home on the 9th March 2024 before he was taken to hospital from the home he was sent to DIE. I don’t know what nonsense those IDIOTS are talking about CONFUSION. After he was admitted to KINGS, there is evidence where KINGS tried to TRICK me to take him home. He was transferred to Annie Zunz Ward and later moved to Byron Ward on 10th March 2024.ย MM Response: This is utter nonsense as reference must be made about my husband’s stay in Guys and St Thomas’s Hospital and his subsequent discharge home on the 27th February 2024 to DIE in peace. If in doubt check YouTube for the results of his stay. https://youtu.be/GP_TQeJ2GHY?si=lAepamv-H-1EEMpl and https://youtu.be/3og_5Mgkhrw?si=Ntivnt5mH8myfswi for more.

During a visit whilst on Byron Ward you found Mr Tomlinson sliding out of bed and were alarmed that the nurse did not seem to notice.ย  I am very sorry for the distress caused; this is not the practice we expect from our staff. Staff are expected to regularly check on patients especially those unable to independently manage their activities of daily living. This would include repositioning the patient, checking their toileting needs, and offering drinks. My sincere apologies that this did not happen on this occasion. MM Response: KINGS will be exposed for the NEGLECT of 101 year old ARNOLD EBENEZER TOMLINSON with the use of Social Media 1. Kings https://youtube.com/shorts/RjT7gN-7chk?si=5PUcV_vOKO9S1COP and https://youtube.com/shorts/-RpptDqSHAY?si=vJwdWUfLAGSiFSx8 and https://youtube.com/shorts/wbDofKOZzGQ?si=sI1yBIowtmrgF0ov and https://youtu.be/vQD9Z6SBsC4?si=m_xfs1nsbGI2vvfc and https://youtube.com/shorts/2vDo2wMTGAk?si=LBiBWojFnBuRKsaJ and https://youtube.com/shorts/AORPmtt66RI?si=GWLXLZxoRj1O44Nf as GAYLE LEWIS will be exposed as the HOUSE SLAVES with the COCONUT COMPLEX. This has been discussed at daily handovers on the ward since your complaint, to reiterate to staff the need for regular checks on patients who need additional support. I am sorry that you felt the situation required you to video events on Byron Ward. Family and carers should have confidence that our staffs are providing appropriate, patient-centred care at all times which should include adequate supervision.ย  I apologise if you felt that this was not the case in this instance. MM Response: How about GAYLE LEWIS and the ABUSERS listen to the YouTube Videos and go SUBSCRIBE.

You mentioned that the nurse looking after Mr Tomlinson became abusive to you when you started filming him. MM Response: No, he was not a NURSE and he was not abusive until Nurse Betty sent him back to THREATEN me. I am sorry that you felt the nurse responded inappropriately. As part of the investigation, the nurse was interviewed, and CCTV was reviewed.ย  During the interview with the nurse, he explained that he felt uncomfortable being filmed hence requested for you to stop filming and delete the video.ย  MM Response: The whole lots of you are FUCKING LIARS who will be exposed in a DOCUMENTARY am getting made. No combative behaviour was evident on the part of the nurse. The nurse went on to explain that he was concerned that your recording might breach the privacy and dignity of other patients on the ward.ย ย  MM Response: You will get what’s coming. It is appropriate for our staff to advocate for other patients. MM Response: What are you talking about? Since he felt uneasy, he reported the issue to Betty, the Nurse in Charge. Recording our staff without their consent constitutes a breach of our policies regarding privacy and recording in our facility. MM Response: I asked the TROLLEY DOLLY who I called from outside the corridor to get help. He left and came back handling my husband without any gloves. He was just handling FOOD he was serving the patients. Am I to assume he did not wash his hands when he returned? We take the privacy and rights of our employees very seriously, and such actions are not permissible. We kindly ask that you refrain from recording any staff members in the future and respect their privacy. MM Response: What FRIGGING PRIVACY are you talking about?

Betty arrived at Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s bedside to ensure he was more comfortable and made an attempt to diffuse the situation. MM Response: Once again you are FUCKING lying HOUSE SLAVE COCONUT. Unfortunately, this led to an altercation between you and Betty. MM Response: I was standing outside the corridor whilst the 2 Nurses 1 BLACK and 1 WHITE were attending to my husband. Betty accused me of SWEARING, who would I be swearing to? I was TIRED I just came from the WINDRUSH VIGIL in Brixton. Other nursing staff reported that you were raising your voice, and they were concerned about the other patients in the room. MM Response: Which room are you talking about? Was my husband not in a single room in BYRON ward? Speaking with Nurse Betty, she explained that she was unable to de-escalate the situation. Nurse Betty does not recall shouting at you, but does remember asking you to calm down. You asked her to leave the room. MM Response: I asked her to leave because she came in trying to accomplish what the MALE was unable to do. In order to respect your request, she did so but, for the safety of her staff and patients, she had to contact Security to ask for their support. The care group is undertaking a review of incidents where staff escalate to Security in order to diffuse situations. They have identified that the escalation process for these situations needs to be clearer and shared with our staff.ย  The staff directly involved on this occasion have been reminded that this could have been handled differently.ย  A call to more senior nursing staff on duty would have been more appropriate before involving security staff.ย  I apologise that this was not considered at the time as it may have resolved things sooner. MM Response: When am done KINGS will pay me for the DISCRIMINATION from 2003-2008.

Encounter with Security

You raised concerns about the security staffโ€™s response when they assisted you to leave the hospital premises. MM Response: I was not assisted I was MANHANDLED by the 2 WHITE RACIST SCUMBAGS. I have a MEDICAL REPORT from the St Thomas’s A&E as proof. I am sorry that you felt you were manhandled. However, after carefully reviewing the footage captured by the body-worn video cameras (BWVCs) worn by our security staff, it is evident that they maintained a high level of professionalism throughout the incident.ย  MM Response: Considering the fact that Met Police who visited my home on 9th August 2024, I am positive their is no footage from Body Cams https://youtu.be/wytjDPhKjuI?si=KKcO6dSWGPFg4No8 and https://youtu.be/wytjDPhKjuI?si=KKcO6dSWGPFg4No8. Despite facing personal and derogatory remarks from you, including racist comments directed towards them and accusations of being a paedophile, the security staff remained composed and focused on their responsibilities. MM Response: HOUSE SLAVE COCONUT GAYLE LEWIS I WILL MAKE SURE THE NETFLEX DEPICT YOU AS YOU ARE.

The footage clearly depicts the security staff calmly explaining to you the reasons for their intervention and subsequent request for you to leave, which was initiated at the request of the nursing staff due to their concerns regarding your behaviour.ย  MM Response: Which FUCKING Nursing Staff are you talking about? I came to hospital to find my husband falling out of bed and Nurse Betty came in the room after me and didn’t notice, she left. I secured my husband and went to get help. The only person I saw is the MALE who was pushing round a trolley. Let me explain I worked in the Early Years Sector where I was doing the jobs of 3-4 staff. I thrive on this. After initially walking off the ward, you stopped, so two security staff briefly assisted you to move forward by holding your arms. When you refused to cooperate, they promptly released their hold upon reaching the lift lobby, allowing you to proceed unaided into the lift. MM Response: Go SUBSCRIBE to YouTube because they will be charged under ALL LAWS to do with breaches of the Equality Act.

Additionally, the security staff can be heard confirming with nursing staff, prior to you leaving, that your departure would not impact the patient’s care, ensuring that the situation was handled with consideration for all involved parties. MM Response: Considering if I did not come in my husband probably would have fallen out of bed and died. Maybe YOU want to explain why KINGS took 6 hours to contact me after he died? Furthermore, when you were in the lift lobby, you mentioned leaving your coat in the patient’s room, the security staff promptly retrieved it from the nursing staff and returned it to you without any indication of interference or theft. MM Response: You are so FUCKING stupid it’s unreal.

We are sorry that you felt discriminated against or harassed, the security staff aimed to ensure your safety, the safety of your husband, and the ward staff. MM Response: Those Mother Fuckers will be exposed.

It has been reported that you used inappropriate language, including racist slurs, which is completely unacceptable. MM Response: Go listen to the recordings, PLEASE to see how your ASS going to be in TROUBLE.

We are committed to maintaining a respectful and inclusive environment for our employees, patients, and their relatives. Such language not only violates our policies but also undermines the values we stand for as an organisation. We ask that you refrain from using any form of discriminatory language in the future. MM Response: My HUSBAND was NEGLECTED and I was ABUSED. I only told the RACIST security TERRORISTS what I think of them.

Discharge arrangements

Mr Tomlinson was first seen by the consultant Dr Irving on Byron Ward on 14th March and you were contacted by her later that day. You confirmed that you wanted Mr Tomlinson to come home for end-of-life care and so this remained the plan from the ward team. MM Response: No stupid you are wrong, I recorded all CONVERSATIONS when I realised what KINGS was up to. My husband was sent home from Guys & St Thomas’ for that purpose. KINGS tried to TRICK me to send him home. The occupational therapy team spoke to you again on 18th March to confirm your understanding of the plan for discharge.ย  On 20th March, the team were told the existing package of care had been cancelled on Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s admission to Kingโ€™s and so the team sent a new request for care to Southwark Social Services. This was for two carers to come four times per day, which is the maximum support social services can offer.ย

On 22nd March the ward staff received a call from your husbandโ€™s social worker to say she had spoken with you. The social worker asked the ward team to contact you as she was worried that you seemed overwhelmed by the situation and the discharge plans. Dr Irving called you later that day to go through your concerns and you expressed that the equipment that had been ordered had not yet arrived, but that also you were not happy for your husband to remain at home on his own in case you needed to go out to attend appointments. Dr Irving suggested a care home as an alternate place of care in this case and you agreed this may be more suitable for you. A decision was therefore made for Mr Tomlinson to be fast-tracked (an urgent request for a place to be found) to a nursing home the following week; both you and Trevor (Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s son) were in agreement.ย ย MM Response: Trevor Tomlinson was put on SAFEGUARDING when he changed the locks on his Father’s house. My husband came back to hospital because Trevor Tomlinson assaulted me which TRAUMATISED his father.

The paperwork for the Fast Track was sent on 26th March. The ward were asked to provide some more information before the funding was approved. This was sorted out by Dr Irving. The fast-track paperwork was approved on 28th March. The team awaited feedback about which nursing homes had availability.

On 3rd April, Mr Tomlinson deteriorated, and it was felt he was in the last days of his life. Tower Bridge care home was due to assess him that day. Trevor was updated that Mr Tomlinson may not be well enough to transfer, and the chaplain was contacted. On 4th April the clinical team contacted you and explained that Mr Tomlinson was likely approaching the last days of his life. MM Response: Is the hospital aware I was in COURT on the 4th April 2024? It was explained that Tower Bridge care home had felt Mr Tomlinson was too unwell for transfer and that he was at high risk of deteriorating, perhaps dying, in transport if he was moved at that point. You understood this and acknowledged that Mr Tomlinson was likely โ€œno longer aware of his surroundingsโ€ and would not have wanted to die in transport. It was agreed that if your husband remained stable, then the team could always restart discussions with the care home with a view to discharging him there if he stabilised. You were happy with this plan and said you were due to visit later that day.ย MM Response: Is the hospital aware of the situation with me being threatened with IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION?

Mr Tomlinson did not become more stable and sadly passed away at 06:30hrs on 8th

April. The nurses tried to reach you several times by telephone finally contacting you at 10:29hrs to inform you of Mr Tomlinsonโ€™s passing; you said you would come to the ward as soon as possible.ย MM Response: This is another FIGMENT of your imagination. I was contacted after 12 PM by Nurse John when he started his shift. He was the only person who cared for my husband on BYRON ward.

MM Response: Considering I spent 7th April 2024 in A&E it’s convenient to be saying this. Strangers were contacting me offering CONDOLENCES before I was informed about my husband’s death.

In most circumstances, deceased patients are moved off the ward after a short interval.ย  You did not want Mr Tomlinson to move from the ward to the chapel of rest until you could say goodbye. Once you arrived you were able to spend some time with your husband.ย MM Response: You will PAY for this.

Palliative Care input

The palliative care team are not routinely involved in all fast-track discharges and do not always see all patients approaching the end of their lives. Your husbandโ€™s Advance Care Plan had been updated by the consultant on the ward and there was a plan for a referral to community palliative care on discharge.

Mervelee Myers is writing this review as I am on the phone with Nationwide, am STRESSED from some of the aggravations that Nationwide has caused me since they sent me letter threatening to close my account. I have been working with Nationwide to resolve the matter as amicably as possible. But Nationwide is intent on doing the opposite. Therefore, I have no alternatives than to let the world know about Nationwide the CYBERBULLYING SCAMMER ENABLERS targeting me.

Nationwide Decide to Target the WRONG Person! MM will write a comprehensive review soโ€ฆ

MM will write a comprehensive review so Nationwide and the world know that I will not tolerate any more systematic discrimination from any individual or institution in the UK or abroad. Therefore, I will do colonization in reverse based on the Right Honourable Louise Bennett-Coverley’s poem. I will go down in history as the person who takes my “Fight4justice” campaign to the attention of the global audience, so there is an understanding of how there is a “Brer Anancy” system operating across the banking and building society around the world. We look no further than the disappearance of Usain Bolt’s assets. I must advise people to find MERVELEE MYERS online to get a better picture of why Nationwide will be used as my template for safeguarding the vulnerable from those who target the elderly, taking advantage of whatever situation they trump up to deny us of our entitlements.

On Monday 15th May 2023, I take my 100-year-old husband and my 77-year-old brother who is here on holiday with me to the Brixton branch of Nationwide. I was called over by an Asian teller, who was a recent trainee. I told her I needed to speak to a Senior person and she asked what it was about. I replied I will discuss the matter with the Senior Person. She said they were all on break. I asked how long is the break, she replied 1 hour. I called my husband to come and sit down. That’s when the Senior Person appeared. To know more about the behaviour of this “Senior Person” visit my website for detailed information.

The summer holidays are over and the new school year has started, so there’s loads going on for us to tell you about!New beginnings!ย ๐ŸŒžAs the summer holidays have come to a close, we hope all of ourย #LittleLondonersย have enjoyed every moment of fun, adventure, and someย #mentormagicย with us!

The team at TKN have loved seeing mentors and mentees having a great time with some really exciting activities and meaningful mentoring sessions during their time off.ย

But as children begin the new school year, we know this is a critical time especially for children in their final year of primary school and those starting secondary school. Transitioning to secondary school can be a big step, filled with both excitement and challenges. That’s where our mentoring comes in.ย

Last year,ย 93%ย of the children on our programme reported feeling more confident after completing mentoring with TKN, andย 85%ย felt better prepared for the transition to secondary school.ย ๐Ÿ“ˆ

One of ourย #LittleLondonersย struggled with Speech and Language issues and lacked confidence during Year 5. Initially silent in class, he blossomed over the year with his mentor’s support, focusing on creative expression through playful dancing and nature activities.

By yearโ€™s end, he was so confident and engaged that his teacher had to manage his enthusiastic contributions! His newfound self-esteem also made his transition to secondary school much smoother.

This is one of many feedback stories we get that showsย how tailored mentoring can unlock a child’s potentialย and change lives.

We’re thrilled to see such positive impacts and grateful for our mentors who make it all possible.ย ๐ŸŒŸย Click here to chip in and support little Londoners todayโœจย Mentor Magicย โœจ

We were so thrilled to be training 22 more amazing mentors in September to match withย #LittleLondonersย this year, with another group set to join training this weekend!

The energy in the room was fantastic with everyone ready to get stuck in and make an impact for their local communities.

Welcome to the TKN community!ย Keep an eye out for their progress as their adventure begins to support mentees, develop their skills, and complete their freeย safeguardingย andย trauma-informed mentoring training.

We can’t wait to see their journey – this is just the beginning!ย ๐ŸŒ Click here to become a mentor!Donate to support The Kids NetworkThank you for supporting little Londoners.

Without you, we could not achieveย this incredible impact for children in London every day.

Dear Ms Myers,

My name is Gayle Lewis, and I am a Patient Complaint Officer at Kingโ€™s College Hospital. My reason for contacting you is to introduce myself and to confirm we are taking the concerns you raised about your recent experience at Kingโ€™s forward through the formal complaints process.  The Trust aims to have investigated your concerns within 40 working days. Once our investigations are complete we will send you a formal response in a letter from one of our Executive team.  If at any stage we find we need more time to complete our investigations we will contact you to inform you of this.

I have read your account of what happened and apologise that this led to you raising a complaint.

To aid our investigation into your concerns, I have listed key points that you have asked us to respond to.

ยท        Complainant arrived to witness Mr Tomlinson falling out of bed, the nurse accompanying the complainant did not notice this

ยท        Complainant decided to video events as wanted a record of the incidents that took place

ยท        Complainant states that nursing staff were abusive towards her and not caring for her husband appropriately

ยท        Security staff were called and ejected (roughly handling her, causing her fingernail to break) her from the building โ€“ she asked for her coat which was returned with money missing from the pocket.

ยท        Was safeguarding in place for complainantโ€™s husband

To ensure we understand the key points within your complaint that you would like answered and to ensure a thorough investigation takes place, I want to ensure that I have accurately presented your key concerns.  It would also be helpful to understand the outcome you are seeking.  Typical outcomes from raising a complaint would be:

โ€ข             An official explanation in the form of a written response.

โ€ข             An apology for a poor experience.

โ€ข             Process improvements to help ensure a similar occurrence does not happen in the future.

โ€ข             Potential retraining for staff, if identified through the course of the investigation.

I would be grateful if you could confirm this is a fair reflection of your concerns for our investigation.  If this is not correct, or you have additional issues you would like us to investigate, then please contact me to confirm these points.

If you need communication support such as an interpreter or information in another language, audio, Braille, Easy Read or large print, please let me know. If there is anything you wish to discuss about your case, please either email or contact Olivia on 0203 299 4515.

With kind regards

Gayle Lewis
