Spring Budget
On the 6th of March, Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt announced the Spring Budget 2024, which included changes to the tax rates, and some other changes that may impact benefits claimants.

Our Benefits Calculator tells you about your benefits entitlement, the calculator now also tells how to access other financial assistance relevant to you, such as help with bills, health costs, help with raising a child, and more. Use the Benefits Calculator
Universal Credit Migration Notice
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) is sending out notice letters to people on legacy benefits including Tax Credits. People claiming these benefits are being moved to Universal Credit, which the DWP wants to replace the older benefits such as ESA, Tax Credits, and more.
It is important to note that you don’t need to claim Universal Credit if you’ve only received a leaflet from DWP telling you to get ready for Universal Credit. Wait until you receive a letter with a deadline. If you’ve received a Universal Credit migration notice letter
If you have received a notice letter, make sure you read what is in the letter as it will have a deadline. Report a missing Cost of Living Payment 2023/2024
The third instalment of the 2023/24 Cost of Living Payment was paid to households entitled to certain benefits during qualifying periods.
Most qualified people were paid between 6 February and 22 February 2024. Payments were made automatically.
If you think you should have had this payment but you cannot see it in your account, you can report the missing payment online.

People who get severe disability premium with their legacy benefits immediately before they move to Universal Credit, receive a transitional element in their Universal Credit to compensate for the loss of this premium.
From 14 February 2024 the amount of this element will increase if they also get other disability premiums prior to moving over to Universal Credit.
Claimants already getting the transitional severe disability premium element within their Universal Credit, could be eligible for backdated payments if they were also entitled other disability premiums prior to claiming Universal Credit.

Winter Fuel Payment deadline
Winter Fuel Payment is a one-off payment made during November and December to help with heating costs for people over State Pension age. Winter Fuel Payments are usually paid automatically if you are getting certain benefits.
Some people need to make a claim for this payment and applications should be sent and arrived by 31 March 2024.

The Department for Work and Pensions is reminding couples who may be eligible to Marriage Allowance. Some couples can save up to £252 a year on their tax bill by claiming Marriage Allowance.
To benefit from Marriage Allowance, the following circumstances must apply: the couple are married or in a civil partnership one person does not pay Income Tax because any income they have is below their tax-free Personal Allowance (usually £12,570) their partner pays Income Tax at the basic rate. A new benefit, Carer Support Payment, is replacing Carer’s Allowance in Scotland. Carer Support Payment is money for people in Scotland who provide regular care to someone who has a disability.
The initial applications are available only for people in Dundee City, Perth and Kinross, and Na h-Eileanan Siar (Western Isles) for now.
The transfer of existing Carer’s Allowance claims to Carer Support Payment for claimants who live in Scotland began on 26 February 2024. Claimants living in Scotland who currently get Carer’s Allowance do not need to take any action. Their claims will be transferred to Carer Support Payment between February 2024 and Spring 2025.

After her final cycle of chemotherapy in October 2022, she had 3 weeks of radiotherapy and will undergo hormone treatment for the next 5 years.

Dementia affects every person differently, but it also affects members of the same family differently too.
As part of our biggest ever awareness campaign, ‘We live with dementia’, we’re shining a spotlight on children whose lives have been impacted by dementia through an exhibition of their artwork across the country.
Some of our artistic young supporters have shared their drawings to express their feelings about dementia, and how it has changed their relationships with family members living with the condition.
You can visit the outdoor live exhibition this week for free at Paternoster Square, City of London, London, EC4M 7DX. Or if you’re not in the area, see if you can spot the artwork across digital displays in Birmingham, Manchester and other parts of London.

One of the pictures on display is by Jack, aged nine, whose nanny was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia when she was 70. Jack used to enjoy baking and playing with his nanny. Nowadays he looks after her by helping her to tie her shoes as well as singing and drawing together.
In his own words, ”You looked after me, now I will look after you.”

What do you expect to get from this interview?
Social Media: Mervelee Myers wants my voice to be heard to share the stories of the Systematic Discrimination I experienced after bereavement and losses twice.
Facebook: My stories are documented from I joined Social Media after coming back from Holidays in Jamaica in 2009. Since the stories are documented and the Legal Systems from the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and the Crown Prosecution Services have colluded to deny me my ENTITLEMENTS. I invested in my Fight4justice campaign on Facebook, before taking it to Google My Business. I started Mervelee Consultancy on Facebook before taking it to Google My Business. I was made a target by the Employment Tribunal Service after 5 months with https://www.gov.uk/…/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years… that left me exposed to Winsome Duncan and Barrister Ryan Clement. As a result of my ADVOCACY, I became the target of Social Media Facebook that gave LEYF access to my account on 18/9/2015. I have 18 Facebook Pages that is liked and followed by Hillary Clinton and Heads of States. Yet I am the person who is BLOCKED out.
Google My Business: Google My Business colluding with the Systematic Discrimination removing my posts that are legitimate. They have since suspended Mervelee Consultancy with claims it was flagged for inappropriate activities. There is a permanent REVIEWER placed on my account to TARGET me. Whenever I raise concerns, they try coercive control.
LinkedIn: I have 3 accounts stolen by LinkedIn, where I published 69 Publications before my first account was suspended. I was an INFLUENCER on LinkedIn before I was targeted by Liz Roberts the Editor of the Nursery World Magazine, who controlled the Nursery World FORUM.
Twitter: Twitter suspended my account after the judgement was put online and Bates Wells Braithwaite get Facebook and Twitter Legal Team to contact me.
Websites: I have invested in platforms from I created my first website http://myvision.org.uk in 2012. I published on G+ using Google AdWords and other social media platforms. My Domain Name was stolen in 2022.
YouTube: I created my first YouTube in 2012 but did not do much until when I created the second channel because of my commitment to working for LEYF. I have since become the victim of YouTube to cover LEYF and cohorts.
Word Press: I created Mervelee Consultancy and Fight4justice on Word Press to keep me focus engaging in my passion.
Who do you want to hear your story and why?
Participant in Research: MM wants persons working in any sectors in the UK and across the world to listen to my story. This is the second miscarriages of justice I experienced after bereavement and losses by the Judiciary of England and Wales to cover for LEYF. Please refer to CASE DISMISSED by Mrs. Gloria Cameron to realise that my experiences are repetition. I was a participant of Dr. Maria Hudson’s Research Paper for the Policy Studies Institute “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” recommended to ACAS www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers.
Conducted Research: I conducted “A Voice of a Child” Research Project for CEO June O’Sullivan of www.leyf.org.uk in August 2010. Latest developments after I enrolled at the UEL www.uel.ac.uk and the actions of Richard Harty led to the conclusion that Men in Childcare without prejudice is responsible for the Abuse Reviews online during the ET/EAT. Richard Harty is the mastermind of “A Voice of a Child and Men in Childcare”. Since he panicked and called my mobile on the 27/9/2021, and removed me from studying, he made sure I cannot access his profile on Google and elsewhere. But I copied my data from the UEL before it was deleted. I also copied information about him from LinkedIn that will prove he is responsible for PAEDOPHILES or ABUSERS jumping ship in the Early Years Sector.
Open Letters: I write Open Letters to 2 UK Prime Ministers David Cameron in 2015 and Theresa May in 2017.
Petition: I applied for an Inquiry in the Early Years Sector, and this was rejected by the UK Government.

The Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin: I meet the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin at Housing For Women AGM in March 2014 after saying my final goodbyes to my mother on the 22 January 2014. My stories are documented online. I learned listening to Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin’s story that her grandmother and my mother are related.

Good morning Martin
The GP did not provide all of my diagnosis. The Chronic Anxiety diagnosis was for my OU Health & Social Care examination in July 2006.
I was sent on Medical Suspension and have another report from the Provider. The doctor advised me to seek counselling. Hence I have the Report from the Maudsley NHS 12 sessions in 2016.
The ET Court Management Order results in the detailed Medical Report of 3 Pages from the GP in 2016. In light of the outcome of the ET/EAT perverting the course of justice and presided over the second miscarriages of justice, I refused to be pigeonholed into providing an updated Medical Report from my GP that will not be Reflections of my disabilities.
When I was diagnosed with Chronic Anxiety I could not say I have Parkinson’s disease because I don’t have a Medical Diagnosis. But the EAT was argued re Parkinson’s and I was accused of making up disabilities.
I was not diagnosed with Diabetes until 2012 and I am not sure if I was diagnosed with arthritis. However, after I was assaulted by the Police 3 years after coming to section me from a malicious Report because I was in HTC Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. The GP report stated about my arthritis.
But the GP said the Practice cannot provide me with a Medical Report. I have spent the past 7 years trying to get justice. During this time I have been pushed over the edge having suicidal thoughts. I developed more traumas affecting my mental and Physical impairment. I have to restart my life like am a baby.
Despite sharing my stories, I have been pursued by HMCTS, BSB, SRA, IOPC, JCIO, CCMCC, DBS, CPS, CJS to become a Criminal needing Emotional Regulation Treatment. But this is the Protection racket of LEYF that can afford to pay to cover up the Abuse Rings operating out of HOC Nursery. Where practitioners of questionable behaviour are jumping ship into other Early Years Sectors and Ofsted and DBS turn a blind eye whilst targeting me.
Each time I get anyone questioning my integrity, I will provide the evidence that I have been made a victim to cover up the miscarriages of justice by the systems involved in perverting the course of justice. In the end I might use this as my Research. Because I am/was a participant in www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers for Dr Maria Hudson. The Mental Health Research for http://www.radar-cns.org. Diabetes www.heal-d.co.uk yet am the one who needs Emotional Regulation Treatment to trap me as 600,000 elderly people say they leave their homes once per week or less.
Going back to Study is another of my holistic Approach to Preventing myself becoming a suicide Statistic. But they will label me #uurica_le in death as in life.

I must start by congratulating Martin for the way he supported me during the interview and for his understanding of my needs from paying attention to what I was saying and the strategies needed to support me. I think you are providing an excellent service and I must congratulate you. Because without the reassurance for Reasonable Adjustment I would not be so confident in starting my studies.
My suggestions are based on my personal experiences of childhood traumas, having a child who was misdiagnosed as being deaf and dumb, dealing with the impact of being judged because of my hidden disabilities, allegations responsible for two nervous breakdowns, accused of making up disabilities, pushed to the edge where I was having suicidal thoughts which clashed with my Christian Upbringing.
The fact I discussed my intention of studying to gain my SEND Teacher Qualification with two professors in 2015 and was endorsed on LinkedIn that has taken away my account is an aspect of how I am made a voiceless vulnerable victim. I discussed my options at the Nursery World Show or Childcare Expo representatives, have information and referred to it once I was advised to go back to studies.
As an older student with disabilities and additional needs it is daunting especially after the seven years that have impacted on my life. There are times when am struggling to even sign in and carry out certain functions. The fact the SYSTEMS spent 7 years making me a victim and now trap me as someone needing Emotional Regulation Treatment makes me determined to venture into RESEARCH as for too long my DISABILITY is used to make me feel like a MONSTER.
I would appreciate if the University can help me to find ways to help others like myself not to lose 7 years of my life fighting with the SYSTEMS to get those who label me to trigger my PTSD to stop paying lip service and treat US with DIGNITY and not DISCRIMINATION to fit their agenda.

I was inspired to start my Fight4justice campaign resulting from the discrimination I experienced after coming back after the death of my MOTHER. I am thinking of extending into Advocacy to give other vulnerable employees and the downtrodden a voice. Without having Social Media and Facebook in particular to document my concerns when no one else spare the time to listen to me, I know I was empowering myself to be my own Therapist.
It has been a long journey of self discoveries, therefore I am not going to become complacent in believing this won’t happen again. This is the second time I am experiencing such discrimination and I am of the views that by sharing my Transitional Journeys I will be able to provide a Support Network for others. I have had to overcome adversities, but I am more than proud of myself that despite the many challenges, giving up was never an option.
I reached rock bottom on many ocassions, but each time I picked myself up, dusted myself off and just got on with living my life to the best of my abilities. The unfair treatments sanctioned by those I trusted meant I eventually had to seek counselling for my Childhood Traumas which led to me experiencing disabilities linked to Mental Health Issues.
I know the only way I can help others is to continue to be honest and open about the issues that affect me and are detrimental to my emotional health and wellbeing. I am viewing all my experiences as yet more transitional developments in this journey call life from birth to death.
One day I hope someone will remember me for doing what’s right by the old fashioned values by which my parents raised me from the time I was born, until their deaths 35 years apart. Hence the reason I would not allow anyone to influence me to do the things that are not right and against the Christian beliefs of my parents. I am a firm believer that God helps those who help themselves. I refuse to sit back idly and expect God alone to do all the work. That’s why I was equipped with a brain.

Daily Express Taurus Turn a deaf ear to people who criticise your work. Your boss or a senior colleague may not have realised your talents. Now they see what you are capable of, they fel threatened by your knowledge which in some areas is greater than theirs.

I came to the UK, leaving on the 6th and arrive on the 7th June 1992. I have been hearing now about matters attributed to me of which I have absolutely no knowledge. In order to move on from this sorrowful debacle that’s threatening to derail my recovery from Mental Health Conditions and Diseases, I have to address the issues and move on. Hopefully this will be just another of my transitional journey and God’s way of showing me my purpose in life.
Before going any further let me make it clear that I believe it takes more than a #spermdonor to be a father. And after my own experiences last year when there was a plot afoot to disgrace me, this had an impact on my life. Therefore there is no way I would join in spreading malicious gossips about matters that affect another human being. I have not had any conversationswith anyone about another person’s paternity on the telephone or in person since I live in London from 1992. I don’t have time for any of that kind of foolishness. Believe it or not, some people have to be convinced that Kevin Murray and Valdin Legister are brothers. Oh yes they are the sons of Mervelee Nembhard. And then their fathers in the mix.
Most of the young people in JA, I don’t even know them. I identify some because of resemblance to family members. Case in point and my Facebook memories will show the #EmploymentTribunals that I am a #CREDIBLE_WITNESS. I was greeted at the Airport on my way back from holiday by a young lady who called me by name Ms Nembhard, but I didn’t have a clue who she is until we have the conversation. Lorraine Anglin…. I was her Basic School Teacher. Therefore when LEYF Nurseries talking claptrap about #UURICA_LE, I will show them with the Reviews of #IngridCurvijaTownsend #JuliaElizabethGould and #JyotiSharma on their website
Because of the discrimination I face in the UK from the time I decided to take a stance against employers who were breaching the Powers of their Authorities, my Mental Health Conditions were affected and my career destroy. So I found solace and comfort in writing about my experiences. I never breach any protocols. I tried to be sensitive to the needs of others at all times. Because I know about the impact of Discrimination on others, especially if they are vulnerable. Some subjects are taboo as far as I am concerned. I believe in letting sleeping dogs Lie, unless it is necessary to wake them.
I talked about my DNA, deficits and Limitations relating to my families over which I have no control. We don’t have a choice about who our #Parents are. So yes my Father was struck down with Parkinson’s from an early age. It’s years later I learned more relevant information that help me understand about my multiple identities and what makes me tic. Believe me I am trying to make amends for some of my transgressions. But if each time I take a step forward, those I’m expecting to support and guide me put me at the back of the line…? I won’t be able to finish the #Legacy started by my Papa #IS_NEMBHARD?
I don’t know much about my Mother’s family because she wasn’t much of a talker and storyteller like Papa. It was left to Ms Connie Legister and my big Breda Mass Balis to fill in the gaps. By then there was not much I could do but write the story of Perline Louise Nembhard life so people could get a bigger picture of the #StrongWoman who was our MOTHER. But for each time I am trying to pick myself up, I get knocked back down by those I’m relying on then….
I put myself to finding ways of using my love for writing to tell stories creating #Legacy. But it seems nothing I do please some. So they set up their network to bring me down to their levels. I have been hearing the stories and I tried to rise above them. But I think it’s time for me to let those responsible know I am aware of the dangerous games that they have been playing over the years. Like any human being, teeth and tongue will meet but my Papa say it’s what happened after the they meet that’s important in the resolution of the meeting. I learned from experience not to always let the left know what the right is doing. For those of you taking me for an idiot. I would suggest it’s time to stop
And for those of you trawling through my social media to find the dirt and know that my breda Ervin Nembhard have our disagreements. We will always be having our disagreements and taking time out to heal the wounds. We are the way we are because of who our #Parents are ok. We have our don’t talk to our each other moments. He has to prove that he is more intelligent than his big sister curtsey of a High School education. But don’t let what you see playing out in public fool you. I will kick his Arse when I have to. That’s why I am giving him the time to cool off. He is too hot headed and act before thinking. That’s why I am leaving him to stew. Because he didn’t get the firm upbringing from Papa that the rest of us got. By the time he was 3 years old Papa was sick and died when he was 13 years old. I his big sister Mervelee Ratty Nembhard and Amly Decosie Nembhard were playing the role of Mother and Father to him. Why you think they call him WASHY? Whilst I Ratty Nembhard put Ervin Nembhard on time out, if any of you think you are Mama Lou and Mass Ivan, fass in my business and you will hear? Blood is thicker than water. But Ervin Nembhard need to be taken down a rung or two off that ladder before he fall off and bruck him F.U.C.King neck?
I will end now by saying that no one can’t plan for me. So when I write my Facebook messages, the recipient know themselves. So don’t go read out my business and start spreading rumours all over the place. Then trying to put me in people’s bad book, mek dem have me up in dem stomach and the belly dem have wid the baby can’t born. Time fi di baby born come look like #ugly Ratty. I know I am beautiful inside and out.
Mr Taylor will reveal himself when the time is right. From I was born out of my MOTHER belly when she gone to market. Now I have an Album with Funeral photos on my Facebook, they were missed. But me asking about Mr T, was spotted immediately. Lord please send me some more revelations about where my life is heading from here? I am going to tidy my kitchen and get some rest. I need to get some work done. But until I can get started, it’s hard. But all parts of my Disabilities and one I have to live with.

Now I need to get to my kitchen to cook for my husband. He is so blessed, he will be 95 in March. I count myself privilege to have my family and friends as part of my #supportnetwork. Evaluation: December 2006 in New York, my son Valdin Legister gave me the best advice a child could give to a MOTHER. I had gone to the USA to get away from the pressures of working with toxic colleagues in the toxic workplaces that #KINGSCOLLEGEHOSPITALNHSFOUNDATIONTRUST had become.

I am here running my #1woman_show. I was born on the 19th May 1956 on Ackbersingh property going from Townhead Cross Road towards Ground Road. I moved to #GaGaStreet age 4+ years. That’s where I still call home and will be retiring to God’s willing? I intend to take back control of my life and stopping people using me as scapegoat because of my #VULNERABILITY. During October 2022, Indigenous Australian musician Jessie Lloyd undertook a residency in Brixton, working with the community to discover songs and stories from the 75 years that have passed since the Windrush brought the first post-war migrants to London from the Caribbean. Applying the methodology she evolved to work with Indigenous Elders in her MISSION SONGS project, and collaborating with Brixton-born artist Tony Cealy, Jessie explored the commonalities of experience between Indigenous Australians and Black Britons, using music to commemorate local heritage, within global histories of racism and emerging processes of reconciliation. Jessie’s grandfather Albie Geia was a leader in the 1957 Palm Island Strike, which, like the events in Brixton in 1981, were labelled ‘riots’, leading to Albie’s imprisonment.
ORIGINS commissioned Brixton-based sound artist, Thor McIntyre-Burnie, and his public arts company Aswarm, to respond to Jessie’s residency; creating a site-specific, immersive experience that weaves the songs through the streets of Brixton and uncovers their extraordinary stories. The result is this immersive, interactive audio-walk, accessed through AswarmXR’s mobile app.
Starting near Brixton tube, you can take an hour’s walk through the streets, which become enlivened and theatrical through the music, voices and stories of local people. When you come out of the tube, turn right and start the app by the two large trees about 30 yards away!
