Case No: K02CL827 IN THE COUNTY COURT AT CLERKENWELL & SHOREDITCH The Gee Street Courthouse 29-41 Gee Street London EC1V 3RE Date: 20/03/2025 Before : HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Between : HOUSING FOR WOMEN Claimant – and – MERVELEE MYERS Defendant – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Mr Tristan Salter of Counsel (instructed by Devonshires Solicitors LLP) for the Claimant The Defendant appearing in person, assisted by a McKenzie Friend, Miss Theresa White Hearing date: 20 March 2025 – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – – Approved Judgment I direct that pursuant to CPR PD 39A para 6.1 no official shorthand note shall be taken of this Judgment and that copies of this version as handed down may be treated as authentic. โฆโฆโฆโฆโฆโฆโฆโฆโฆ.. HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment HIS HONOUR JUDGE RICHARD ROBERTS : Introduction 1. 2. 3. 4. This is the hearing of the Claimantโs committal application, dated 28 November 2023 (p. 50 – 59). The Claimant, Housing for Women, is represented by Mr Tristan Salter of Counsel. MM Response: Was Tristan Salter groomed by DJ Sara Elizabeth Beecham who wanted to keep the case, but chicken out when I raised the HCT Group Impact Report 2016 of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment (pages 8-9). The Defendant, Ms Myers, appears in person, assisted by her McKenzie Friend, Theresa White. MM Response: Why Did DJ Beecham not allow the McKenzie Friend to talk in her Court? I knew nothing about McKenzie Friend and my this time the RANTING RAVING LUNATIC triggered my ATYPICAL PARKINSONYSM I was unable to function. There is before the Court a committal bundle of 616 pages. References to page numbers in this judgment are to the committal bundle. Instagram post threatening District Judge 5. 6. I mention at the very outset that the Court has been alerted to the fact that on Monday 17 March 2025, the Defendant posted a video on Instagram in which she said, โDistrict Judge Beecham, Iโm going to take you out. Bitch, District Judge Beecham, Iโm going to take you out. And this is how Iโm going to take you out, Motherfucker. [She shows her computer screen, which is displaying the notice of DJ Beechamโs appointment as a Judge] โฆ Is Tristan Salter your man, bitch? Bitch Sara Elizabeth Beecham. โฆ Bitch, Iโm coming after you.โ This hearing is to sentence the Defendant for six admitted breaches of an injunction order. The Court is not sentencing the Defendant for the video posted on Instagram on 17 March 2025. MM Response: The fact the DJ Beecham did not complete the case and sent a RANTING RAGING LUNATIC mentioning Winsome Duncan And DJ Sterlini are causes for concerns. At the time I was not aware of the name, but HHJ Richard Roberts imposed a Civil Restraint Order on me after DJ Swan strike out 5 Claims they were without merit, and I objected. If I die, my stories will serve future generations to avoid the pitfalls I have been down. Barrister Samantha Jones tried to take out ECRO, but did not succeed. However, this video is relevant to the issue of whether the injunction order should be extended in time and whether the groups of persons protected by the injunction should be widened to include all members of the Judiciary, all members of the legal profession and all HMCTS court staff. MM Response: We should therefore go back to Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust when I had the first nevous breakdown after the death of my brother WALFORD BYRON ALBURNEY NEMBHARD. I represented myself then even though I had no legal knowledge. I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson http://www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers the Experience of Multiple Discrimination for the Policy Studies Institute recommended to ACAS. Background 7. 8. 9. As already stated, this hearing is for the purpose of considering the sentence for the Defendantโs admitted six breaches of the injunction. MM Response: I will bring my old folks saying to let the Reader understand how I was stitched up by JI Solicitors Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell. After Charles Hills & CO Stephen Agera abandoned me via email when I got to Court on the 19th December 2023. Barrister Angela Delbourg had told me that I must be WHITER than WHITE and she thought I would SHOUT at DJ Richard Hayes when she represented me. The Claimant is the owner of Flat 16, Alma Grove, London SE1 5PY (the Property). The Property was let to the Defendant pursuant to an assured tenancy agreement, which began on 1 December 2000 (p. 111 – 130). In the witness statement of Trina Philbert, Neighbourhood Officer at Housing for Women, dated 21 July 2023, she says (p. 132), โ5. There have been multiple incidents of anti-social behaviour reported to the claimant and/or the police relating to the defendant in or around the property since May 2022. MM Response: When did Trina Philbert started working with H4W? Why did H4W wiped the Customer Portal of all my DATA after refusing me ACCESS? What roles if any did MERVELEE MYERS played during my time at H4W before Samantha Gibbs and Trina Philbert started working for H4W in 2022? The antisocial behaviour appears in the form of racist and threatening language against residents in or around the property and the claimantโs staff and posting slanderous and inflammatory material against other residents and the claimantโs employees.โ MM Response: Why did MM started doing this? There were no slanderous and inflammatory materials against residents. REFERENCE Social Media for my roles in Alma Grove. The A New Met for London launch in September 2023 will be EVIDENCE that I am a victim of the HMCTS and CPS and CJS in covering up miscarriages of justice and http://www.leyf.org.uk PAEDOPHILE RINGS of Richard Harty. Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment 10. The Claimant obtained a final injunction order against the Defendant, dated 1 August 2023 (p. 12 – 14). MM Response: Mervelee Myers was not made aware of this until after the injunction by DJ Sterlini. And that’s why I called HHJ Richard Roberts a RANTING RAVING LUNATIC because he mentioned Winsome Duncan and DJ Sterlini. Now who is Winsome Duncan and what role did DJ Sterlini played in the Case of Winsome Duncan. She stole my MANUSCRIPT and sent the Met Police and London Ambulance Service to section me from a malicious report I wrote on Facebook, I was feeling SUICIDAL. The Court ordered that: โMERVELEE MYERS Is forbidden (whether by herself or by instructing or encouraging or permitting any other person) from: 1. Causing nuisance, annoyance or distress to any person, or allowing any other visitor/s or occupant of Flat 16, Alma Grove, London, SC1 5PY (the Property) to cause a nuisance, annoyance or distress to any person of the following people: MM Response: MM was not GUILTY of this and this can be referenced online, but HMCTS with their agenda to SILENCE me was only interested in doing exactly this. a. Any person with a right (of whatever description) to reside at Alma Grove, London, SE1 5PY (Alma Grove) or any lawful visitor to Alma Grove; and MM Response: Since I am the person who was a victim after H4W coerced Ms Gilchrist to target me. The Court should investigate how the tenant before me was treated. I have rights as a tenant at Alma Grove by my ENTITLEMENTS of affording H4W privileges to handing over my key for them to get copy. This key was then used to allow persons to gain entry to DISCRIMINATE against me. Ms Gilchrist a convicted Drink Driver has used to property do do business, some of which are/were ILLEGAL. All types of people visited Alma Grove at all hours of the day and night. b. Any member of the claimant, staff, agents or contractors; MM Response: Check Social Media to verify how I facilitated the Claimant staff, agents or contractors to understand that my RECORD will be viewed online even after am dEAD. c. Any member, employee, consultant or agent of Devonshires Solicitors LLP, 30 Finsbury circus, London, EC2M 7DT; MM Response: Some have come to harass me when Ms Gilchrist leave the door on the latch for them. d. Any person engaging in lawful activity in or around the locality of the property. MM Response: How about Ms Gilchrist and her unlawful DRUGS BUSINESS is addressed? Check the times Ms Gilchrist don’t pay Electric and Gas Bills and bridge the SYSTEMS putting us in danger. Greedy contractors put up gas pipes and I averted a Grenfell Tower at Alma Grove. b2. Using or threatening to use violence or allowing any visitor or occupant of the property to use or threaten to use violence, towards any person in categories 1 (a) to (d); MM Response: Refer to Mimi Owusu 12 pages Witness Statement for H4W. 3. Intimidating or acting in an intimidating manner, or allowing any visitor or occupant of the property to intimidate or act in an intimidating manner towards any person in any of the categories set out in paragraph 1 (a) to (d); MM Response: Reference YouTube for those that are GUILTY. 4. Harassing or attempting to harass, or allowing any visitor or occupant of the property to harass or attempting to harass, be it physically or verbally towards any person in any of the categories set out in paragraph 1 (a) to (d); MM Response: Joe Hooper does this, Tony, Barbara McCoy also does this, so Debbie Thomas and Colin at 14. 5. Naming and making any reference whatsoever to any of the people referred to at paragraph 1 (a) to (d) on any social media or electronic network or platform or other including but not limited to WordPress, TikTok and YouTube. MM Response: Reference my roles from 1992 when I arrived in the UK. IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE must be reference. Along with RESEARCH, Working, Volunteering, my investments in Fight4justice and othe Media in sharing my stories. And further ordered that the said Mervelee Myers must forthwith upon service of this order 6. Remove all videos uploaded content from all social media or electronic networks or platforms or other including those referred to at paragraph 5 above whereby the individuals referred Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment to at paragraph 1 (a) to (d), the landlord and the firm have been named, and MM Response: To order me to remove videos is the same as my ENTITLEMENT taken by LEYF http://www.leyf.org.uk the PAEDOPHILE RINGS. 7. Remove all posters from the communal areas of Alma Grove and from the windows of the Property. Paragraphs 1 to 7 of this order will remain in force until 12.00 noon on the 1st August 2024, unless before then this order is varied or revoked by a further order of the courtโ 11. 12. 13. By her order dated 9 July 2024, District Judge Beecham ordered: โ2. The injunction order dated 01.08.2023 is extended on the same terms to the final determination of the penalty on the committal application or further order. MM Response: DJ Beecham is party to the DISCRIMINATION. 3. Personal service of this order is dispensed with, the defendant having been in court and having been informed that the injunction would be extended.โ The Claimant has summarised the Defendantโs breaches of the injunction order in a schedule dated 28 November 2023 (p. 60 – 64). I have taken into account the following written evidence: i) ii) iii) Trina Philbert, a Neighbourhood Officer employed by the Claimant: a) b) c) d) First witness statement, dated 13 December 2023 (p. 100 – 108) and exhibit TP1 (p. 110 – 195); Second witness statement, dated 16 November 2023 (196 – 200) and exhibit TP2 (202 – 203); Sworn affidavit of Trina Philbert, dated 12 January 2024 (396 – 397); Second affidavit of Trina Philbert, undated and unsigned (408 – 415) and exhibit TF2 (416 – 463). MM Response: When did Trina Philbert started working with H4W. Narin Masera, Trainee Chartered Legal Executive at Devonshires Solicitors: a) b) c) Witness statement, dated 10 November 2023 (313 – 315) and exhibit NM1 (316 – 319); Sworn affidavit, dated 28 November 2023 (264 – 267) and exhibit NM1 (268 – 272). Second sworn affidavit, dated 30 May 2024 (399 – 401) and exhibit NM2 (402 – 407) Sworn affidavit of Samantha Gibbs, Housing Team Leader employed by the Claimant, dated 31 August 2023 (285 – 291). Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment iv) 14. Witness statement of Stephen Agera, solicitor for the Defendant, dated 17 August 2023 (42 – 43). The Defendant has not herself filed any witness statement in the committal proceedings. 15. 16. The Defendant was born on 19 May 1959 and is now aged 65. In the committal bundle is a report from Dr Babtunde Oyedeji Oyebode, Responsible Officer and Consultant Forensic Psychiatrist, dated 29 April 2024 (562 โ 592). Dr Oyebode says in her report (578), โ3.5 She has been reported to have suffered with anxiety and depression, for which she received counselling sessions with good effect. She is currently on no treatment.โ 3.6 She has been assessed on several occasions by various services, including secondary mental health services, and has not been accepted for treatment, as her condition has not been deemed serious enough to require care by secondary mental health services. I note that she is awaiting referral to IAPT from the entry in the GP record of 11 January 2024. 3.7 I consider that this is appropriate, as she appears to have benefitted from counselling for her anxiety and depression in the past. The Defendant was bereaved of her late husband, Mr Tomlinson, who passed away aged 101 on 8 April 2024. The Defendant was married to Mr Tomlinson for 10 years and had been his sole carer. Dr Oyebode was asked, โ3.25 whether in your professional opinion the burden for caring for her late husband played any role or contributed to the behaviours she is alleged to have displayed during the relevant?โ Dr Oyebode replied: โ3.26 I consider that the burden of caring for her late husband would have played a role, indeed compounded the behaviour she is alleged to have displayed during the relevant, in view of her history of experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression in the past.โ Allegation 1 17. Allegation 1 (p. 62) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 5 and 6 of the injunction order on 3 August 2023 by posting a video on Youtube whereby the Defendant named both the Claimant and Devonshires Solicitors LLP and referred to both as โ#criminalsโ. At Exhibit SG1 to the witness statement of Samantha Gibbs, dated 31 August 2023 there is a screenshot of the Defendantโs posts on social media (p. 303 โ 304), showing the post: โ#fight4justice #expose @housingforwomen8227 & @devonshires @metpolice-uk #criminals.โ Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment Allegation 2 18. Allegation 2 (62) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 5 and 6 of the injunction order on 6 August 2023 by posting on WordPress, โTrolls Scammers Target Mervelee Myers TikTok Join List of Systemic Discrimination District Judge Sterlini Presided Over Housing For Women Terror Cells Of Devonshires Solicitorsโ. Screenshots of this post are at page 305. Allegation 3 19. Allegation 3 (62) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 5 and 6 of the injunction order on 7 August 2023 by posting WordPress, โDistrict Judge Sterlini To Be Party To Systemic Discrimination At Clerkenwell Shoreditch Involve In CCMCC Winsome Duncan Scam Housing For Women Devonshires Solicitors LLP Terrorism Deborah Agnes Gilchrist An Alcoholic Turn Drugs Abuser For Whom Beg The Police To Get Help For Each Time She Makes Malicious Allegations Against Me The World Must Know UK Is Racist Society Target BAME People Label US Violent Criminals Need ERT Whilst Husband And I Traumatised By Hate Crimes 7/8/23.โ There is a screenshot of the Defendantโs blog post at page 308. Allegation 4 20. Allegation 4 (62-63) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 1, 5 and 6 of the injunction order on 31 August 2023 by failing to remove the video on TikTok whereby the Defendant names Michael Lewis, a solicitor of Devonshires LLP. In the video, the Defendant refers to Mr Lewis as โa Cuntโ. A screenshot of the video is at page 311. Allegation 5 21. Allegation 5 (63) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 1, 5 and 6 of the injunction order on 31 August 2023 by failing to remove the video on Youtube and/or TikTok whereby the Defendant posts the contact details of Narin Masera (a Trainee Chartered Legal Executive of Devonshires Solicitors LLP) which include Ms Maseraโs name, direct dial and email address. There is a screenshot of the video at page 312, which gives Ms Maseraโs contact details and then says, โso Housing for Women the TERRORISM CELL is getting Devonshires involved their Hate Crime Against MM.โ Allegation 6 22. 23. Allegation 6 (63) states that the Defendant breached paragraphs 1, 4 and 5 of the injunction order on 7 November 2023 by posting a video on YouTube in which she named Ms Masera and referred to her as โa terrorist”, โa bullyโ, โa racistโ, โa cowardโ, โa gutless excuse for a femaleโ, a โbitchโ and a โcuntโ.โ Ms Masera is a Trainee Chartered Legal Executive at Devonshires. She has provided a witness statement, dated 28 November 2023 (264 – 267), in which she says at paragraphs 5 and 6 that on 7 November 2023 the Defendant called her on her direct dial. Ms Masera did not answer. The Defendant left her a voicemail, which stated, โHi Devonshires Solicitors Narin Masera Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment This is Mervelee Myers The reference is NZM/HOU16/258 I am calling about your terrorist activities against me from the time I received a letter and just in case this is going over I am doing a live yeah I am doing a live Narin Masera Terrorist Narin Masera I’m doing a live before I am due to go for my whatever it is fluโ 24. 25. 26. In her witness statement, Ms Masera says, โ7. Following this, I received an e-mail from the Defendant timed 12.29pm on the same date, the subject of which was โNarin Masera the Terroristโ. Within the body of the e-mail is a link to a YouTube video. โฆ 8. The video that the defendant has uploaded to YouTube is entitled โMy #views #defamation 100โ and within the video the defendant can be seen calling me, repeating my name and referring to me as a terrorist, a bully, a racist, a coward, โa gutless excuse for a femaleโ, a โbitchโ and a โcuntโ. โฆ 9. This is not the first time the defendant has behaved in this manner towards me, details of the previous incident can be seen at paragraph 7 (xix) of the witness statement of Trina Philbert dated 21 July 2023 and exhibit โTP1โ. 10. After listening to the Defendant’s voicemail and receiving the Defendant’s e-mail on 7 November 2023, I felt upset and concerned that the Defendant continued to publicly broadcast untrue and malicious lies about me by posting these on social media platforms. The Defendant’s behaviour is causing me significant stress as to be labelled as a โterroristโ is deeply concerning and is not something I take lightly. As such, I reported this to the Police on 7 November 2023 and the reference is CAD 319 9/07Nov23.โ Trina Philbert says in her first witness statement, dated 13 December 2023 (108), โ13. The Defendantโs behaviour is having a widespread and detrimental effect on those individuals targeted and the Claimantโs staff members.โ The order of DJ Beecham, dated 9 July 2024, (which has not been included in bundle), includes the following recitals: โUPON the Defendant attending and admitting all the allegations in the contempt application and service of the injunction dated 01.08.2023 on 03.08.2023 Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment AND UPON the court adjourning to give the Defendant opportunity to show compliance with the injunction order and adduce further medical evidence on penalty AND UPON the parties submitting and the court accepting that the initial view on penalty is that the breaches fall within category B3 of the CJC Anti-Social behaviour and the Civil courts Report, with the range of penalty being adjourn consideration to 1 month custody AND UPON the court taking into account that good behaviour will be a mitigating factor and any relevant medical evidence may be mitigation and further breaches will be aggravating factors and the court noting the challenging circumstances with which the Defendant has had to contend in the recent past such as the bereavements suffered, will be relevant mitigation AND UPON the Claimant making an unopposed oral application to extend the injunction order dated 01.08.2023 AND UPON the Defendant confirming orally that she understands the injunction shall continueโ Decision 27. 28. 29. 30. 31. Mr Salter referred the Court to the leading case of Lovett v Wigan Borough Council [2022] EWCA Civ 1631. Regarding the issues of harm and culpability, I have had regard to paragraphs 46 to 57 of the judgment of Birss LJ. I find that the Defendantโs culpability falls within band B of the Sentencing Councilโs guideline grid. I find that the harm caused by the Defendant falls within Category 3 of the grid. I accept the evidence of Ms Masera in her witness statement (266), dated 28 November 2023, at paragraph 10 that the Defendantโs behaviour is deeply concerning and is causing her significant stress. She felt upset. She reported the matter to the police. I also take into account that Ms Philbert says in her first witness statement, dated 13 December 2023, at paragraph 13 (108) that the Defendantโs behaviour is having a widespread and detrimental effect on those individuals targeted and the Claimantโs staff members. The starting point for B3 is adjourned consideration and the category range is adjourned consideration to 1 month. I find that the Defendantโs culpability is aggravated by the fact that there are six breaches of the injunction order. I find that a further aggravating factor is that the Defendant was advised on two occasions by District Judge Beecham of the importance of compliance with the injunction: i) By an order dated 9 July 2024, District Judge Beecham included the recital, Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment โAND UPON the court adjourning to give the Defendant opportunity to show compliance with the injunction order and adduce further medical evidence on penaltyโ ii) 32. District Judge Beecham reiterated to the Defendant the importance of the Defendant showing compliance with the injunction order in her order of 18 September 2024, where she said in the recital: โAND UPON the court explaining to the Defendant the importance of compliance with the injunction dated 01.08.23 as extended by the order dated 12.06.2024 and explaining that the injunction remains in force on the same terms until 20.01.2025 or such other date as penalty is determined or further order.โ Despite this, I am told by Mr Salter, and accept, that there have been further breaches of the injunction order. 33. 34. 35. On the other hand, I find that there are the following factors which mitigate the Defendantโs culpability: i) ii) iii) iv) At the hearing on 9 July 2024, the Defendant pleaded guilty to the 6 allegations in the contempt application. Whilst the plea of guilty was not at the first hearing and the evidence for the allegations was very strong, bearing in mind the existence of the video footage on social media, I nevertheless give the Defendant credit for her plea of guilty, which has saved witnesses from being required to attend Court. The Defendant repeatedly said in her oral submissions to the Court today that she needed help. I bear in mind that the Defendant is vulnerable because of her anxiety and depression. I also bear in mind that Dr Oyebode said in his report: โ3.26 I consider that the burden of caring for her late husband would have played a role, indeed compounded the behaviour she is alleged to have displayed during the relevant, in view of her history of experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression in the past.โ The Defendant has not previously received a custodial sentence. Having regard to all the circumstances, including the seriousness of the six breaches of the injunction order and the fact that the Defendant has continued to breach the injunction order despite District Judge Beecham explaining to the Defendant on two occasions that the Court was adjourning sentencing to give the Defendant an opportunity to show compliance with the injunction order, I find that the custody threshold is passed and a sentence of imprisonment is appropriate. I bear in mind that the Court must impose the shortest period of imprisonment which properly reflects the seriousness of the contempt. I have also stood back and considered the totality of the evidence. Double-click to enter the short title HHJ RICHARD ROBERTS Approved Judgment 36. 37. 38. I conclude that the appropriate period of custody, having regard to all the circumstances, including the aggravating and mitigating factors is one month, concurrent on each of the 6 charges. I must next consider whether the sentence should be suspended. I find that whether the custodial sentence should be immediate or suspended is finely balanced. However, having regard to the Defendantโs vulnerability and the fact that she has not received a term of imprisonment, immediate or suspended in the past, I find that the just and proportionate sentence is to suspend the sentence on condition that the Defendant complies with the injunction order dated 1 August 2023 and any variations, including that set out below, for a period of two years from todayโs date, ending at 4pm on 19 March 2027 or on further order of the Court. Allegations 2 and 3 involve the Defendant naming and making offensive comments about a District Judge. As recently as 17 March 2025, the Defendant posted on social media a video in which she made threatening and abusive comments about another District Judge. Having regard to the this, I order that paragraph 1 of the injunction order is amended to include a new paragraph 1(e): โ(1)(e) All members of the judiciary, all members of the legal profession, and all HMCTS court staff. โ Right of appeal 39. Costs 40. 41. 42. 43. I advise the Defendant that she has an automatic right of appeal to the Court of Appeal. She does not need to request permission to appeal. An appeal must be made within 21 days of today. I find that costs should follow the event, pursuant to CPR 44.2(2). The Defendant has served an N260 statement of costs, dated 6 March 2025, totalling ยฃ21,814.80. I find that the hourly rates are far below the guideline rates, and that the time sought for the work carried out is reasonable. I conclude that the sum sought is both proportionate and reasonable. I order that the Defendant pay the sum of ยฃ21,814.80, not to be enforced without an assessment of the Defendantโs ability to pay under s.26 LASPO 2012, the assessment to include the determination of the period in which the Defendant had costs protection. Finally, I warn the Defendant that the consequences of breaching the injunction order are likely to be very serious and include the activation of the suspended sentence. The injunction order will remain in force for two years from todayโs date until 4pm on 19 March 2027. I emphasize to the Defendant that she must not cause nuisance, annoyance or distress to any of the persons mentioned at paragraph 1(a) to (e) of the injunction order.
A positive complaint handling culture is based on ensuring resident awareness of and access to the complaints process, being fair, putting things right, and learning from outcomes. Our Complaint Handling Code (Code) empowers all landlords to resolve complaints themselves so fewer escalate to our service.
In 2025-30 we want to build on our Code compliance monitoring work.โฏIn 2024-25 this focused on complaint handling policies. During the strategy period we will focus on governing body scrutiny and oversight, with a particular focus on the Member Responsible for Complaints and testing compliance in practice where we have concerns. We will continue to take our approach of learning first โ highlighting to landlords where they need to improve before we take further action, sharing best practice and guidance from our cross-sector oversight, and producing a variety of learning tools hosted on our Centre for Learning.
Strategic objective aims
Aim 2.1:โฏ We evolve our duty to monitor compliance with the Complaint Handling Code.
Aim 2.2: We expand our Centre for Learning content to support better local complaint handling.
Aim 2.3: We focus on leadership and governance, in particular, the role of the Member Responsible for Complaints, in supporting positive complaint handling cultures.

Corporate Strategy 2025-30 | Strategic objective 3: Support better services through our insights, data, and intelligenceโฏ
Complaints are more than individual transactions, they are strategic tools for learning.
Over this strategy period, landlordsโ operating environment will remain uncertain and pressurised.โฏ We want to use our insights, data, and intelligence to extend learning into the system – providing horizon-scanning that identifies emerging risks, identifying programmes or policies that need to be reviewed, and informing future budget allocation and service development at both landlord- and sector-level.โฏ
Strategic objective aims
Aim 3.1: We hold individual landlords to account where there are repeated service failures by engaging with them to address root causes.
Aim 3.2: We promote fairer outcomes in services where systemic failings are identified.
Aim 3.3: We share information with regulators, enforcement bodies and other delivery partners to promote accountability.
Aim 3.4: We are proactive in sharing our work with elected representatives, think tanks, and public policy makers to inform debate and policy proposal.
Aim 3.5: We help to stimulate debate and support better understanding of the social housing sector by allowing open access to our casework data.10.

Corporate Strategy 2025-30 | Strategic objective 4: Extend our powers and engage with partners to close gaps in redressโฏ
Housing is arguably one of the most complicated sectors in England.โฏ The boundaries between public and private have become blurred and gaps in redress remain. In addition, residents within the social sector currently have uneven rights when it comes to obtaining information from their provider, depending on whether their landlord is a local authority or housing association.โฏโฏโฏ
During this strategy period, we will discuss widening access to fair, independent, and impartial Ombudsman-level redress for residents with partners from across the sector, supported by straight-forward customer journeys and consistent outcomes.โฏ
We will also take on a new area of complaints relating to the Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements scheme (STAIRs) โ enabling tenants to come to us where they are dissatisfied with the outcome or handling of their request for information related to the management of their housing.โฏโฏโฏโฏ

Our people are our greatest asset. To deliver our strategy successfully, we need to ensure we have access to colleagues who support our values, are keen to learn and are willing adapt as we grow and change.
We also need to update our systems as these have not kept pace with our expansion to date, nor the customer service expectations of our residents and landlords. And we need to revisit our structures and our processes to ensure these are optimised to meet the expectations of a larger and growing organisation.โฏโฏโฏ
All of this combines into an overarching enabler looking at our organisation design to ensure that this supports delivery of our strategy and embeds our culture.โฏ The scale of our ambitions as set out in our strategic objectives and the change required to deliver means we are treating these enablers as a transformation programme.โฏโฏโฏ

Richard Blakeway, Housing Ombudsman, said: โWe want to see the housing sector thrive during these challenging and changing times, to grasp new opportunities, and to champion healthier homes and fairer services.
โThe strategy looks to reimagine our relationship with residents, creating simpler and easier access to housing redress. Doing so in a way that is person-centred, with faster decisions โ offering a genuine alternative to legal action. This builds on our work to meet to the unprecedented volumes of casework we have seen.
โAnd we look to do the same for landlords, where we will continue to provide accountability, redress and transparency. We want to do more to strengthen local resolution, build trust, and move from transactional engagement, based on individual complaints, to strategic support through our Centre for Learning.
โI want residents know their rights and be treated fairly and respectfully, whether their complaint comes to us or not, helping to make relationships between residents and landlords stronger and more trusting.
โFinally, it deepens our relationship with the wider regulatory system, given the unique and independent perspective we offer, by providing insight, open data and alerting it to emerging concerns for enforcement and regulatory bodies, as well as policymakers.โ

Capitalised terms in this letter are references to terms defined in the witness statement of Samuel Christopher Andrews dated 1 October 2024 in support of Nationwideโs application for summary judgment and/or to strike out the Claim (the โApplicationโ), unless otherwise stated. We write in advance of the hearing of the Application on 9 April 2025 at 2:00PM (the โHearingโ), following the Court Order dated 22 February 2025. A copy of this Order along with the sealed Application is enclosed by way of service. The Claim As set out in the Application, you issued the Claim on 29 August 2024 in relation to the Discrimination Complaint and the Fraud Complaint. You also allege in the Claim that Nationwide: (i) failed to pay an (unspecified) standing order on your behalf; (ii) exhibited โsystematic discriminationโ towards you; and (iii) assisted a third party in an alleged scam against you. Nationwide denies the Claim in its entirety. In relation to the Discrimination Complaint, in very short terms, this arose because Nationwide wrote to you on 10 May 2023 about your unacceptable behaviour towards Nationwideโs staff on 28 April 2023. Nationwide was obliged to write to you in these terms and notify you that such abusive behaviour may result in the Account being closed. We understand that there was a further incident on 13 October 2024 in which you were abusive to Nationwideโs staff. As for the Fraud Complaint, Nationwide investigated the Payments and concluded that they appeared to be genuine. You have failed to set out any legal basis or valid cause of action in order to bring the Claim. You have also failed to provide any evidence to support the Claim. In particular:
you have not provided any evidence to suggest that Nationwide has mistreated you or acted in any way that could be construed as defamatory or discriminatory in nature, as alleged or at all; and you have not identified or particularised any basis of loss recoverable from Nationwide (which for the avoidance of doubt, is denied). cloud_uk\237481275\3\hainswc Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP is a limited liability partnership, registered in England and Wales (number OC304065), registered office One Wood Street, London EC2V 7WS. Date: 21 March 2025 Our Ref: HUNTAY\337671-000158 Page: 2 As a result, Nationwide has made the Application with a view to disposing of the Claim at the earliest opportunity. The Application is made on the basis that you have disclosed no reasonable grounds for bringing the Claim and/or that the Claim is an abuse of the Courtโs process and/or the Claim has no real (or any) prospect of succeeding. In addition, Nationwide seeks an order that you pay Nationwideโs costs of the Application in light of your unreasonable conduct in pursuing a completely meritless claim. Discontinuance In light of the above and to avoid incurring the Courtโs valuable time and resources, and to avoid the partiesโ incurring unnecessary costs, Nationwide invites you to discontinue the Claim at this stage as it has no real prospect of success. If you agree to do so by no later than 4pm on 28 March 2025 then Nationwide agrees not to seek to recover from you the costs that it has incurred in respect of the Claim notwithstanding that it has already been forced to file a holding Defence and has the Application. Please confirm your acceptance of this offer by signing and returning a signed Notice of Discontinuance by no later than 4pm on 28 March 2025. A pre-populated form is enclosed for ease. As such, to reject this offer and continue the Claim would in those circumstances amount to unreasonable conduct. When a party behaves unreasonably the Court can order it to pay the other partyโs costs, even on the Small Claims Track. If you proceed with the Claim that is the step Nationwide will take. We do not intend to threaten you in making this statement, but want to ensure that you understand how Nationwide will proceed so that you can make an informed decision, and with a view to you avoiding a costs order against you. The Court would expect us to explain that to you. We look forward to hearing from you by and no later than 4pm on 28 March 2025. Without Prejudice Mervelee Myers put on record the roles of J I Solicitors Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell in the GASLIGHTING and MISOGYNY on the date my father IVAN SANDYMAN NEMBHARD was laid to RIP in our yard at Townhead Westmoreland Jamaica West Indies. Because I have given both parties copies of my book, IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE. That was signed by Sir Mark Rowley at the launch of “A New Met for London” in Brixton on the 2nd September 2023, a month after I was labelled a violent nuisance by DJ Sterlini on the 1st August 2023. I want the Solicitor and Barrister to take notes of the fact that my book IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE is being used by Westminster HUB to motivate TENANTS to challenge the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution Service. I was given training to use TEAM, and I volunteered to run an ADVOCACY if J I Solicitors were prepared to set one up. The fact that I introduced Ms H Presley to J I Solicitors, and they refused to take her case is clear indication that VULNERABLE TENANTS are not getting representations.
I told J I Solicitors about the claims I had taken out only to be told they can’t help me. But HHJ Richard Roberts can put a Civil Restraint Order on me after DJ Swan strike out 5 of my claims. Let me put on record how J I Solicitors and Barrister Miranda Grell have acted unprofessionally to entrap me with the UNLAWFUL INJUNCTION. During the time when I considered myself VULNERABLE after the death of my husband, I was coerced into accepting Barrister Miranda Grell’s representation. She would only take my case if I agreed to accept, I had breached the injunction that was decided behind my back. My sons Kevin Murray and Valdin Legister were brainwashed into not believing in their mother anymore. Barrister Grell even went as far as telling us about her own “Personal Experiences” and why she trained to be a BARRISTER. I can’t understand why Barrister Grell has decided to entrap me. Since the ZOOM with my sons, I have not had a CONSULTATION with Ms Grell. She comes to Court take the stand and share what she wants with the judge. I recalled once I was trying to tell her how I was made a CRIMINAL needing Emotional Regulation Treatment after the Police came to MURDER ME under cover of www.leyf.org.uk Margaret Horn Lecture on the 30th November 2020. Her response was “If you are a CRIMINAL I don’t want to hear about it. Since my BOOK is being used to INSPIRE TENANTS, I want Barrister Grell to use it in my UPDATED EVIDENCE.
The attitude of the Solicitor leaves much to be desired, and concerns have been raised about his unprofessional conducts with Housing for Women, Devonshires Solicitors LLP and Dr Phil Gregory and the NHS. I confided in Dr Phil Gregory that I was not getting proper representations before realising that Dr Phil Gregory was in the plots to DESTROY me to cover up the SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION. Let me put on record when I find out that Sola Obajuluwa was not working in my favour. After I buried my husband and had the time to go through the BUNDLES from the Court and Devonshires Solicitors. I found the Court Order presided over by DJ Greenidge, DJ Swan, DJ Sterlini and realising I was not informed about them, I decided to take the EVIDENCE with the SENCO job offer from Smart Teachers to be EVIDENCED. I was told that the Court could do as they please and my Witness Statement was already prepared. Representing myself at Employment Tribunals and Small Claims Court, and ECRO, I was confused. That’s when I started looking at the patterns of how I have been treated by the Legal System from Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
Although the Psychiatric Assessment I did on the 15th April 2024 stated I can instruct my “Legal Team” I was treated with disrespect. The Solicitor actually asked for the report to be rewritten and no EVIDENCE I provided was taken into consideration. I was in SHOCK when the Solicitor contacted me on behalf of Dr Phil Gregory after his unannoinced visit to my home on the 21st November 2024. His coercive control demanding that I removed YouTube EVIDENCE triggered me and this nearly pushed me over the edge. The Solicitor blames me for not having a GP, when I was made an INACTIVE PATIENT on the 6th December 2024. I don’t understand why the Solicitor gave the Court Dr Phil Gregory’s Medical Report as this is DEFAMATION. But let me make it known that the Solicitor has been colluding with Devonshires Solicitors LLP for me to take RESPIREDONE so they can make MONEY out of me.
That’s another reasons why the ITV News documentary with Queen Camilla will be presented as RESEARCH. I did an interview with the University of Huddersfield about DAMP and MOULD. The fact I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson research paper for the Policy Studies Institute “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” recommended to ACAS. Before I did “A Voice of a Child” for LEYF CEO June O’Sullivan will be reasons why the Rev Rose Hudson-Wilkin will be called to give evidence that I asked her to MEDIATE because I meet her at Housing for Women AGM 2014. I was a participant in Kings College London Dr Faith Matcham RADAR-CNS.
My investment in my Fight4justice campaign and my social media platforms along with my http://www.myvision.org.uk that I built from scratch and stolen in 2022 must be EVIDENCED. My VOLUNTEERING and FUNDRAISING must be evidenced as well as my work from Jamaica to the UK.
I will wrap up saying that Samantha Gibbs started working with H4W in April 2022. In April 2022, Joshua Jacques murdered four people in a brutal attack at a home in Bermondsey, South-East-London. The victims were Samantha Drummonds, her mother Tanysha Ofori-Akuffo, her grandmother Dolet Hill, and Denton Burke, Ms Hill’s partner. How did the Police get involved? Police were called by neighbours who heard shouting at home. Police broke into the house and tasered Jacques. What did Jacques admit to? Manslaughter but tried for MURDER claiming MENTAL HEALTH condition. Prosecution: 3 generations of one family murdered. JJ was only 29 years old who FAILED him? BBC News 4/12/2023. BBC 1 March 2024 Jailed for at least 46 years. I have lost four family who won’t come back. I applied for the role of grandmother for grandson with MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. Southwark News Joshua Jacques jailed for life for murder of Bermondsey family. Southwark News did a report at BIB LEYF COVID-19 and I contacted them to help me tell my story.
The NHS is a DISGRACE, and the world will know because IN HONOUR OF STRONG WOMEN EVERYWHERE tell my stories and I will update about the NEGLECT of ARNOLD EBENEZER TOMLINSON and Gayle Lewis PALS report.
Sir David Anthony Amess was a British politician who served as MP for Southend West 1997 until his murder in 2021. 15/10/2021 fatally stabbed at his constituency surgery at Belfairs Methods Church Hall Leigh-On-Sea. Amess murder was later declared a “Terrorist Incident” by the Metropolitan Police.
Dennis Amiss I saw hypnotist to heal mental scars after Lillee and Thompson bombardment BRUTAL 1974-1975 Ashes Series left its mark on the shaken batsman, but one good thing came out of it – The Cricket HELMET.
Let me end saying I will be using my Fight4justice to share the stories and the A-Z of CRIMINALS needing Emotional Regulation Treatment and VIOLENT NUISANCES and UURICA-LE will be mentioned during my DOCUMENTARIES. As Queen Camilla’s 100 birthday card for my husband will be the key. I wish DJ Beecham all the best in getting out of the DEFAMATION of MERVELEE MYERS.

Black Design Guild: The (Re)LaunchHi! Weโre Tayo, Amelia and Michael. This is our blog about the Black Design Guildโa fully funded, five-month leadership programme for junior-to-mid level Black researchers and designers working in UK civil society. If youโre new to this blog series you can catch up on the prototyping journey that got us to launch here.ยทยทยทBLOG TWENTY-FOUR: And weโre backโฆWith a mix of excitement, nerves and a touch of pride, weโre pleased to announce that the Black Design Guild is finally back. ๐After a successful pilot in 2023, a challenging search for funding, and adventures across the country to find a new home for our retreats, the Black Design Guild is now officially launched.๐ป Recruitment for our 2025 cohort is officially underway! You can read more about it or register your interest at www.blackdesignguild.org๐ Or, if youโd like to help us spread the word, check out our comms pack here.A little more about how we got hereโฆยทยทยทThe search for funding. In August 2023, after a successful prototyping journey, we announced we were seeking 1.5 million pounds of funding to run a fully fledged version of the Black Design Guild over five years. You can see the funding proposal here.A slide from our funder proposal deckOur ambition was to run a five-year business, as an experiment in boundaried, regenerative vehicles for impact. Focusing on making a meaningful contribution to the world we wanted to see, rather than on scale and unrestrained growth. We started the founding journey confident, having seen through the prototype just how needed the Black Design Guild was, and how impactful it could be. In the end, it was a lot tougher than we expected. ๐ This shouldnโt have been so surprising given the well-documented challenges of finding grant funding (or any funding) for the journey between idea or prototype and delivery or scale. Not to mention the structural challenges of fundraising as a predominantly Black, introverted and woman-led team.ยทยทยทTo support us, we sought advice from the amazing team of Advisors who supported the prototyping phase, reached out to funders, commissioned a grant funding consultant to help shape our funding proposal and bids and even (briefly!) considered wading into the corporate world to fund our core ambitions. We found that in the end, the only thing that worked is the only thing that has ever worked for us as weโve grown other businesses and initiatives.Relationships.Through these relationships, we secured ยฃ400k of funding ๐ธยทยทยทLooking at our initial funding target and plan this would have funded just over one year of the full Black Design Guild programme we had designed. However, in the spirit of boundaries, and a commitment to impact over ego, we agreed with our funders that we would use this to run a streamlined version of the Black Design Guild over the next four years. Ensuring at least 40 people would benefit from the programme.A huge thank you to our funders, Impact on Urban Health and Joseph Rowntree Foundation and specifically Michelle Ong, Radhika Bynon and Sophia Parker who offered unwavering trust and support. And while wildly grateful for the support of these funders, we reflect that without these existing trusted relationships, BDG would currently have no funding.Something that feels both personal and structural for us as a team.ยทยทยทRefreshing the Guild. Now, after a period of refreshing as a team, reflecting on how to balance impact with budget, and searching for a beautiful new home for our retreats, weโre finally ready with a refreshed version of the Black Design Guild.A fully funded, five-month leadership programme for Black researchers and designers working in UK civil society. Itโs designed to support those who are currently junior-to-mid level and are looking to move towards leadership roles.Itโs designed as a unique opportunity to learn, heal, and grow within a cohort of fellow Black researchers and designers.ยทยทยทHere are our refreshed vision, role and principles:Pictures from the refreshed version of the Black Design GuildThe refreshed version includes:๐๐พ a three-day foundational retreat๐๐พ a learning and healing budget for each participant๐๐พ three cohort workshops๐๐พ a celebration event and alumni network for continued supportYou can find out more on the website. For those of you who followed us during the prototyping phase, youโll notice that to accommodate the new budget weโve decided to take out:the coaching elementplaying a role in supporting employerswrap-around supportwider cohort and alumni supportThis means that we will have less impact than weโd hoped but weโre comfortable with that. Through this journey, itโs been important for us as a team that we do not try to deliver the same programme on a smaller budget. To achieve this weโve prioritised using the budget we do have to invest in Black researchers and designers as best we can. And weโre confident that the Black Design Guild will still provide Black people with well-deserved time, space, support and care over the next four years.ยทยทยทRecruiting the 2025 CohortSo now, weโre on the hunt for the 2025 cohort of the Black Design Guild. Troubled histories: UK Caribbeans on King Charles and the royals
British Caribbeans share their views on the kingโs coronation and relevance of the monarchy.
London’s Caribbean community reflects on the monarchy and coming coronation [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
London, England โ Preparations are under way for the coronation of King Charles on May 6, which will mark the inauguration of a new head of state in the United Kingdom after 70 years.
Across towns and cities, bunting decorates the streets, shops are full of memorabilia and fancy dress, and Britons have an extra public holiday on Monday to mark the occasion.
But while a sense of joy feels palpable for many, 64 percent of Britons said they did not care about the upcoming coronation, according to a recent YouGov poll, while 48 percent said they were unlikely to take part in coronation celebrations.
Al Jazeera spoke to some of Londonโs Caribbean community about their views on Charles and the royals, whether troubled histories can ever be forgiven, and the Caribbean push to remove the monarchy.
Hereโs what they said:
โThe way that he treats Meghan and Harry is disgracefulโ
Ivor John, 82, retired:
Ivor John [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
Perhaps I will watch, but Iโm not one for watching celebrity news. I donโt think anyone is better than me. I celebrate myself, I donโt celebrate other people.

Well, I think heโs alright. But, I think the way that he treats Meghan and Harry is disgraceful. I donโt know, but I think there is some sort of bias or racial discrimination there.
What do you think of the monarchy?
My father came up here to visit me in 1984, I took him to Buckingham Palace and he was overjoyed. I was so happy to see him happy, however, Iโm 82 now. I donโt feel the same as him about royalty. I donโt believe anyone is better than me, so I treat people with due respect. So, if I saw the king, I would treat him with the respect that he deserves.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
I think the Caribbean should have their own thing. Have something to celebrate their heritage. England has the heritage of the royal family.
โTheir history is based on colonialism, racism, slavery, corruptionโ
Cheryl Phoenix, independent legal advocate for education law:
Cheryl Phoenix [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
No. I have no interest whatsoever. Watching them waste millions of pounds, yet refuse to support or do anything by way of reparations. Itโs amazing how theyโve come up with that money so quickly.
What do you think of King Charles?
He, from what I understand recently, is having a look into the history around the slave trade. So with regards to King Charles, it will be interesting to see more about who he is and what heโs about. However, Iโm 70-30 where heโs concerned, because of some of the racist dialogue that has come out over the years.
What do you think of the monarchy?
Their history is based on colonialism, racism, slavery, corruption. Thereโs not much positive I can really say, unfortunately.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
We have to cut ties. How we became a monarch state in the first place wasnโt because we volunteered ourselves. For us as a people back in the Caribbean, itโs important that we do become independent from the monarchy. I think itโs important that we also tell them to take their military forces out of our countries. You have no business being there.

โI donโt know if he has the same kind of gravitas as the queenโ
Donald Waugh, 61, actor, creative artist, tutor:
Donald Waugh [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
If Iโm being totally honest with you, no. No, because it doesnโt really interest me.
What do you think of King Charles?
He wants to be in tune with the younger generation. He wants to be more modern, but I donโt know if he really has much power or weight [as his mother]. Because of her silence and her anonymity, that gave her more mystique โ if there were problems, she always kept her mouth shut and dealt with it in a dignified way.
Itโs a different generation now. King Charles is moving into a new era. I donโt know if he has the same kind of gravitas or the same kind of respect that the queen commanded.
What do you think of the monarchy?
My parents are from the Caribbean. They came over in the sixties and I still remember the problems that the British caused for what would be my grandparents or my great grandparents.
[My parents] came over here full of life and they wanted to embrace this country, the motherland. But when they got here, they faced a lot of hardship.
Iโm not really in favour of the monarch, also because of slavery โ a lot of money is still being made from the slavery period โฆ Iโm not really a royalist, if Iโm totally honest.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
I think the generations that are coming up behind us, which would be like our nephews or our younger brothers, even though theyโre scattered in different parts of the Caribbean Islands, they feel the pain that we went through. They want to cut the ties, they no longer want to be dictated to, you know, โOur country: new rules, new school.โ
Advertisement
Let us sort our problems out for ourselves. The problem with the British Empire โฆ they took and they raided and they plundered. The younger generation is little bit more educated on the history that was hidden.
โI donโt respect themโ
Merl Reid, 67, retired:
Merl Reid [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
No.
What do you think of King Charles?
I donโt recognise them. I donโt respect them. I have nothing good. As far as Iโm concerned, they donโt exist.
What do you think of the monarchy?
I donโt think about the monarchy because the monarchy is not there for poor people like us. I think itโs a waste of time. They steal all the properties and just sit there in the tower with all these golds, all the riches, all these diamonds. If they give it back to some of these countries, they wouldnโt be poor and starving. What are you doing with it? You canโt take it with you. The queen is dead. What did she take with her? Nothing.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Well, they should have done that a long time ago. Why are they there? What are they doing for the country every time they turn up what they do? Nothing.
โWhenever I hear the term commonwealth, I often think the wealth was not commonโ
Chukuma Wagadugu, 54, business owner:
Chukuma Wagadugu [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
Thereโs a degree of curiosity on my part. Iโm not necessarily going to watch it avidly. But itโs possible I will watch some aspects of it.
What do you think of King Charles?
When I was growing up, he was just like a playboy guy, you know, just gets all the women. I didnโt really have an opinion really about him beyond that if Iโm honest.
But that started to change when he married Diana โ and I watched the wedding. The breakdown of that marriage and how he appeared to treat her, that was something I didnโt like.
He represented perhaps a pernicious aspect of the royal family.
What do you think of the monarchy?
Thereโs a mixture of curiosity, as well as the criticism of the monarchy and what that institution is, and what it represents.
In terms of their involvement in the Caribbean and in Africa, and what they represent as an upper-class institution โ they undoubtedly represent colonialism, slavery. What I would consider some of the most heinous acts have been perpetrated on Africa and the Caribbean.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Whenever I hear the term commonwealth, I often think the wealth was not common. Itโs an organisation that stems from slavery, colonialism, neocolonialism.
โUncle knows whatโs best for you, we know whatโs best for you โnatives, you come under this umbrella and we tell you whatโs best for you. And when we visit you, you dance and you sing for us, and we continue the ravages of colonialism but in a different form.โ
โYes, Iโll definitely be watchingโ
Mervelee Myers, 63, activist:
Mervelee Myers [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
Of course, definitely. You grow up in a certain way, and those are the things you look forward to. So yes, Iโll definitely be watching.
What do you think of King Charles?
Well, me personally, I am respectful of all the elders but my husband would say Charles is ageing and having a younger person might have been more beneficial. We have to prepare the future generation for taking up leadership and managing and doing the work that the older generation once used to do.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
Well, it has been done already by Barbados. I come from Jamaica, and they are thinking about it, but my view is, are they ready? Barbados made their preparations and they are out. But in my country, thereโs so much happening in my country at the moment in terms of leadership, crime and all that.

โI like Prince Charles. He does a lot of goodโ
Howard Facey, 71, retired:
Howard Facey [Giorgia Tobiolo/Al Jazeera]
Will you be watching the coronation?
Yes.
What do you think of King Charles?
I like Prince Charles. He does a lot of good. I canโt bite the hand that feeds me. I phoned my sister and she said those things [like state security] that are in England are not in Jamaica.
What do you think of the monarchy?
I like them, because I was in Jamaica when the queen of England came here and she drove around and waved to everybody.
What do you think about Caribbean nations removing the monarch as the head of state?
When the queen of England used to run Jamaica, it was better.

I will highlight awareness of the DISCRIMINATION covered up by Legal Entities and Establishments and Systems at the helms of the UK Government and Judiciary Of England & Wales & Criminal Justice System & Crown Prosecution Service. Note the roles of Social Media in making the VULNERABLE VICTIMS https://youtu.be/umCkr178Nhw?si=RBj8J_MVh3qu9hcF. I was an INFLUENCER whose Intellectual Property & Image Rights http://www.myvision.org.uk used to build brands before the world turned on me expecting me to be the statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides are associated with unemployment. My online presence is enough of my defensive practice for the world to take notice in the words of Nelson Mandela “The purpose of freedom is to create for others”. The DE Columnist states “Tech Don’t Lie”.

U are just as #corrupt. What you going to do #theaten me like #these2 idiot #gal Kemoy Vaz Jlp? Did you not know the #24thweddinganniversary was the post of #obeah? Yes the JLP #conspiracytheory is not nonesense #dunce…
Taurus: Try to avoid doing too much in the way of strenuous activity. Your interest may be drawn towards alternative therapies and homeopathic remedies. A new diet, fitness routine or exercise class could have impressive results.
Evaluations: The past 2 days at the Childcare Expo London 2018, has given me opportunies to see how I can move forward and take back control of my life. I am at that place in my life where I know I am more than ready for brand #MerveleeMyers and I have the tools that are my CPPDP and Intellectual Properties to make this more than dreams, but visions of realities.
I did not see LEYF Nurseries and some others in the Early Years Sector?
Mr AET husband. #Stepson_Trevor. #2Sons and they are welcome to put themselves in the frame if they want? I am not even bothered about anyone else. I am focus on Ermine Mervelee Ionie RATTY NEMBHARD from now until my 95th birthday. Please don’t disturb unless #Emergency?
My husband 59th birthday is the 8th March. Hopefully I can get some of his family to pop in to great him? Then the horrible Metropolitan Police Service will understand why I am a protective #wife where my Tom is concerned. Don’t try it on. It was discrimination when the Bank Manager said “MR TOMLINSON YOU HAVE A SMALL ILLUSION THAT ONE DAY YOU CAN BECOME A PROPERTY TYCOON”? Well that’s why I am part of Dr Maria Hudson Research Paper The Experience of Discrimination on Multiple Grounds for recommend to Acaswww.acas.org.uk/researchpapers. Let LEYF Nurseries explain why they refused me access to my FILE?
Appointment at Kings College Hospital on the 5th for my Research into Mental Health Conditions…. I am coming up to my trimester of 2 Years. At least my weight is nearer 12 stone
I am part of Hct Learning Centre Impact Report of 1 in 5 suicides are associated with unemployment. But I don’t subscribe to that. So LEYF Nurseries, #EmploymentTribunals, #WinsomeDuncan #Police and all those who thinks I’m going to give them the opportunity to get out of giving explanations for the discrimination better think again
I have to say a big thank you to #EmilyDankworth and www.jinglejamkids.co.uk for putting back the spark in my life. Some of the things I miss not working. Does LEYF Nurseries think they have the right to deprive me of my entitlement to work and be happy?
When you have to put everything aside for your husband. So you walk out the length and breath of another section of London to find a William Hill, but have to make do with #Carol. Job done and am back at the Childcare Expo.
Just walked the streets to find a William Hill to put my husband’s #bet on. Change of script. Only a Carol in this side of London. I am back at the @childcareexpo now, before its time to shoot off back home.
Daily Express Lori Reid Taurus: With Venus your ruler slowing down and preparing to backtrack, you realise that matters are reaching a turning point. Give yourself chance to catch your breath then prepare for a new direction. Call to hear when to side-step a business obstacle.
Was up until #3am this morning b4 bed and up again by #6am. Well GOD help those who help themselves.
I am not officially back yet, but have to browse. My word I couldn’t help laughing at some of the things on Facebook.
Think I am going to find someone Jtfoxx or someone on JT Foxx Fan Page to invest in my #MentalMadness. I laughed all the way to #Iceland_WalworthRoad and back. I am going to try and #CopyrightmyBADWUDS. Maybe I should think about teaching it to #PoshPeople?
Now I leave with a saying from mi Granny GanGan: “Chicken a guh Big, U seeit from the Foot”. Don’t ask me, I have y own interpretations as nobody bothered to explain anything to me. Mama would say: “If U don’t know U will soon find out”. Then when I go find out, she never like it.
I a proud to be Big Sister to my 2 Little Bredas Amly Decosie Nembhard & Ervin Nembhard. I wouldn’t even bother talking about y blessings at this time. Kevin Murray & Valdin Legister?

In honour of my MAMA, I want to continue in the BAPTIST faith, but?
So from this morning the song that is going round in my head is: Only 16, only 16 & I LOVE her so… She was too Young to Fall in Love & I was too Young to Know…
Very interesting indeed. Don’t hold Ur breathes, if it was not in the PD then it will stay where it Blinking well belonged?
Oh I was having more Memory Flash Backs & these are some of the names which came to mind. Dave Sweeny, Sainty aka Mutt Johnson, Bunny Lawrence, Lloyd Mercy. Guess I need to get on with the writing asap?
Any1 from Gaga Street can count themselves lucky because I have vivid memories of growing up there from the Age of 4+ years old. Have to sort my fotos to see who else I can come up in later.
So many things to be thankful for. On Tuesday I was inches away from a Serious Motor Bike Crash in Battersea Park Road. I took pictures relating to the Emergency Services because it is relevant to my Studies.
Got to class this morning & learnt the Young Man Died from his injuries. I was present when they were cutting the clothes off him & saw his mangled arm. I heard his Groans & saw him in his underwear & when they put him on the Stretcher.
My heart goes out to his Family & I hear it was reported in the Evening Standard. I told U I have the tools to be who/what I want to be as I develop my CPPDP. So I have the Death Machine, Emergency Vehicles & a Long Distance shot of the Accident Scene.
But sadly I still have no time to download my Camera from October 2015. The psychopaths are responsible for this state of affairs from they decided to terrorise me starting January 2014. Only I did not know at the time…?
Remember I’d reach a stage in my life where I was becoming Paranoid. COUNSELLING helped me deal with the Childhood Transitions that affected my life from the Age of 10 years old. What they done turned into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.
I am back to the days when I was Carefree & jump on the bicycle from Gaga Street Hill Top all the way to Street Gate.
These psychopaths will pay for what they’ve done to me. The crumbling has started. That Bitch who come stand up in my Face Taunting me, well if I meet her now I’d do exactly what I done then. Ignore her instead of wanting to Knock her to the Ground, but I’d Cuss her RC dat not even Fly woulda did Blow her.
My granny Elsie Adina SAUNDERS-CHAMBERS aka Gan-Gan. Still don’t find out yet if there are any Chinese connections? Don’t have to search hard to find out where U folks inherited the dimples from eh! Those eyes & nose will need Prince Philip to tell me about them of course?
No sister Indie Hyacinth Legister Gordon. Ms Mazie got the Pipe & Ms Icy got the Wig aka the Devil’s Armour. Ask Ms Connie & she will give U the joke bout Papa, GanGan & the wig… Ms Connie knows all the Stories.
Oh no I can’t recall where the beads went now at all Indie Hyacinth Legister Gordon? GanGan had her Tapanarist Family in Town & Forign Climes, so she was always getting the best from them. Do U happen to remember Patsy & Jenny who lived with us for a while? That was the time I saw all those Crinolyn dresses. Those girls have Clothes couldn’t done.
U can say that again. She used to go to Kingston to visit her Sister & Niece & then pop over to March Pen Road to visit her 1 & only son Terah. She’d come back with things she bought in Bulks along with all the Clothes & trinkets from her family. Papa on the other hand loved everything natural & simple. He forbade me to wear pants until I could afford to buy it because his money wasn’t paying for it. Oh those were the days Indie girl.
My sister Ms D Forrester-Nembhard aka Ann Chambers, Urs Truly Ratty Nembhard & my little #1SonKevinDMurray & the Clans at the Townhead Baptist Church in 1980. 35 years is indeed a Lifetime 4 sum?
Lol afro indeed. Good old days girl. I lost all my earlier years, my children, and my family photographs to a mad man. I have nothing to show especially of my dead brother Ruel aka Bud. How can one forgive anyone of that dastardly act.
Me & Bud go way back & I remember the good times. He was MM 4 1 of our Townhead friend, when my mum told me it not going to hapn over her dead body cause we are family…? If my mum say any1 is my family I always believed her. & now I just switch on & โฆ
Thank you for your attention to the circumstances of this matter. I have made it plain to Des the personal issues that I am dealing with. For your information they are matter of life and death situations not only to to with my health but the 101 birthday of my husband and his DYING. Yesterday for example I had to go for blood test and to the dentist on the date I lost my granny 1980 from a broken heart. I would advise you to take a look at the topic for my SPEAKING engagement and adjust yourself to my needs before claiming that I am not fulfilling my “Promotional Duties”. I have tried to get back on LinkedIn since I signed up, after 3 accounts were stolen, and I have not been successful. If you were as concerned about my “Personal Issues” you would have realised I accepted your Facebook request. I have not been using Facebook for a while except collecting my Intellectual Property, Copyrights, Images and CPPDP to secure elsewhere. Despite creating 18 pages and was an INFLUENCER, I was trolled. As soon as I updated my account after accepting your Friend Request. Facebook lock me out and I am waiting to get back in. I have, however been promoting on my platforms and social media. Therefore, I take exceptions to been accused of not fulfilling myย ย promotional duties under the contract. I have been a VICTIM of CONTRACTS and I don’t intend to become another again, with the money I spend. If you don’t know my stories, please ask and not jump to conclusions.ย
I will not be accepting the terms of this emails before some dialogue about my “Personal Challenges. I will refer you to https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site to clarify this. The way this email is structured sounds like the threats I encountered since the death of my mother with dementia and my husband traumatised and lost his dignity as he is dying 10 years later.
This lack of communication cannot only be blamed on me, what about your role? Early intervention emerges as a critical determinant for success and survival across various domains, underscoring the significance of timely and proactive measures. In healthcare, the maxim holds true as early detection of medical conditions frequently translates to more effective and less invasive treatment options. For example, identifying symptoms of diseases like cancer in their initial stages often leads to higher recovery rates and improved patient outcomes.
In the realm of education, recognizing and addressing learning challenges at an early stage is paramount. Early intervention in the form of specialized educational support or interventions can pave the way for a smoother academic journey for students. It not only aids in overcoming learning hurdles but also fosters a positive educational experience, setting the foundation for future success.
Furthermore, the concept extends beyond individual well-being to encompass crisis management. Whether in the context of natural disasters, public health emergencies, or societal challenges, early intervention proves instrumental in mitigating the impact of these crises. Timely deployment of resources, communication strategies, and preventive measures can significantly reduce the severity of consequences and enhance overall resilience.
In essence, the phrase “early intervention is key to survival” encapsulates a universal truth that spans health, education, and crisis response. Emphasizing the importance of foresight and timely action, it advocates for a proactive approach to challenges, ultimately contributing to better outcomes and increased chances of success and survival in diverse scenarios.
I will not be held accountable for lack of success of this event and I will explain why briefly. I created https://www.facebook.com/mervelee.myers in 2009 and have Community HUB on 18 pages. Created first website http://www.myvision.org.uk in 2012 and joined LinkedIn where I was an INFLUENCER and created first YouTube in 2012. Currently I am operating 5 channels despite YouTube working with www.leyf.org.uk the Richard Harty MIC abusers to make me voiceless. Therefore, I will not accept that I am not adhering to guidelines when my RIGHTS have been denied me by the platforms I will describe as CYBERBULLYING CRIMINALS that are taking your money for promotions. Can I invite you to get your members to subscribe to my YouTube where all the “Big Names” promoting on my contents and I am not benefitting.
LEYF NurseriesWelcome to The London Early Years Foundation, changing the world, one child at a time.www.leyf.org.uk
๎
Until you are prepared to take a different approach in addressing this matter, I will consider that you will be taking “Legal Actions” about my failures to adhere to the guidelines? Maybe I should let you in an a SECRET about Housing for Women!
Until you contact me about why I missed out on the promotions, and what you intend to do about it, I will assume I will be withdrawn.
Well I am responding and hoping you afford me the same curtesy. It might be helpful to realise that I mostly communicate via the WhatsApp because it’s easier and when am struggling with my mental and physical disabilities because of DISCRIMINATION and coming to terms with my husband’s declining health, a day before his 101 birthday. You can appreciate that RESPECT goes both ways.
I can do without this kind of attitudes from a FEMALE who did not take the time to find out what my “Personal Challenges” are. Let me refer to www.blac.org.uk that scammed me ยฃ10,000.00 between April-July 2023 and write a 12 page “Witness Statement” for Housing for Women. How about you find out why am threatened with IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION from UNLAWFUL INJUNCTION for CONTEMPT of COURT. Then you know why I will not take these THREATS lightly.
I will wait for your response before going PUBLIC.

MM Response: So why have Nationwide waited so long from the time they set out to trigger me in April 2023 to send me letter of threats about closing my account? That is why we take your concerns seriously. MM Response: Who is Nationwide fooling? Since when is my concerns taken seriously? And if we have let you down, we want to put it right and make sure we learn from our mistakes. MM Response: You know blinking well Nationwide deliberately let me down. How many chances did Nationwide get to put it right? Is Nationwide telling me that after DEFAMING my name, this is when you are going to learn from your mistakes! Breaching Equality Act 2010 Protected Characteristic 2010. For clarity let me point Nationwide to information that will be relied on. Please Reference: Claim Number 567MC716. When I read Samuel Christopher Andrews CRAP, it makes me realise how utterly WICKED Nationwide Buildiing Society is. Because I gave Nationwide every opportunity to deal with the matter in a manner that is mutually amicable for both of us because of the STRAINS I was under at the time. And Nationwide continued treating me with disrespects of my person and my money. I will take my https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site to the public. So, the world understand that Banks and Building Societies are targeting the vulnerable. What happens next?We will write to you by 28 October 2024 when we will provide you with an outcome or update about your concerns. MM Response: The Witness Statement of SAMUEL CHRISTOPHER ANDREWS is proof of Nationwide Building Society Gaslighting and Misogyny rolled into one. I could understand if after Nationwide got Mr. Andrews to prepare a Witness Statement knowing its A Contempt of Court Matter for supplying false information making him believe they are fact. Nationwide set out on a campaign of HATE to cause additional STRESS on top of what happened when Nationwide sent the first letter to me dated the 10th May 2023. Maybe Nationwide need to scrutinise the trail of events from that letter was sent and what occurred after. Please be aware that the person who came into Nationwide in Brixton for the first ยฃ5,000.00 to be transferred to her account is responsible for writing a 12 page “Witness Statement” for Housing for Women implicating Nationwide in all the PERSECUTION of Mervelee Myers from the 28th April 2023. Mimi Owusu’s Witness Statement will be used as evidence in the above Claim. As if that was not enough, after I came into the Brixton Branch to get the matter sorted. Nationwide did even worse and my online payment for under ยฃ10.00 resulted in my card blocked again. I am still getting notifications that bills have not been paid. But the fact that my Currys Cloud Backup that I have since 2004 when I studied with the “Open University” was stopped showing me Nationwide does not care. View this email onlineYour full/partial postcode is 5PY Our Reference: NBS8128554MyersWe have got your complaint / MM Response: It seems as if Nationwide takes pleasure in getting complaints from me? Dear Mrs MyersAt Nationwide, we believe you should be able to expect the best from us. Please allow an extra few days for this to get to you by post. MM Response: How about sending it by posts and email, please. To find out how we handle complaints and the timescales we are working to, please visit… MM Response: I already know how Nationwide handles COMPLANTS. Dear Mrs MyersAt Nationwide, we believe you should be able to expect the best from us. From: LEWIS, Gayle (KING’S COLLEGE HOSPITAL NHS FOUNDATION TRUST) <gaylelewis@nhs.net> Sent: 18 April 2024 15:14 To: Mervelee Myers <rattynem56@live.co.uk> Subject: King’s Complaint Reference 3446
Dear Ms Myers, MM Response: Gayle Lewis is discriminating against me and I will explain how, why, where and when.
My name is Gayle Lewis, and I am a Patient Complaint Officer at Kingโs College Hospital. MM Response: Let Mervelee Myers share with the world how Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is continuing the discrimination against me so the world can understand how my husband was NEGLECTED on BYRON ward and died on the 8th April 2024. My reason for contacting you is to introduce myself and to confirm we are taking the concerns you raised about your recent experience at Kingโs forward through the formal complaints process. MM Response: Since I was contacted before and I adhered to the procedures and amended any misconstructions. I consider this to be an extension of the discrimination at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The Trust aims to have investigated your concerns within 40 working days. MM Response: This is another of the ways that my vulnerability is being used against me. My complaint was submitted and I amended what needs amending and I am told that it will take 40 working days. What happened to the time from the complaint was submitted. I would advise Gayle Lewis to access the evidence online. Once our investigations are complete we will send you a formal response in a letter from one of our Executive team. MM Response: Based on personal experiences the outcome is already decided. However, unlike the miscarriages of justice after the first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother BYRON NEMBHARD with colon CANCER in 2008, I have recordings of the NEGLECT of my husband on BYRON ward. If at any stage we find we need more time to complete our investigations we will contact you to inform you of this. MM Response: Since I was contacted and I submitted an updated concerns this is DISCRIMINATION in breach of the Equality Act Protected Characteristics. I have buried my husband and Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust did not have the decency to send an apology about the circumstances of his death and the NEGLECT. Not to mention me having to visit A&E. I did not see my husband after he was taken from his bedside by the RACIST TERRORIST WHITE SECURITY. My husband was still alert despite him dying and must have died in agony wondering what happened to me. I did not see my husband after I was taken away from his bedside by the RACIST WHITE TERRORIST Nurse Betty called. My husband was dead 6 hours before I was contacted.
I have read your account of what happened and apologise that this led to you raising a complaint. MM Response: This is blatant DISCRIMINATION.
To aid our investigation into your concerns, I have listed key points that you have asked us to respond to.
ยท Complainant arrived to witness Mr Tomlinson falling out of bed, the nurse accompanying the complainant did not notice this. MM Response: The videos are on YouTube and Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is across the world as a TERROR CELL where a 101 year old was ABUSED and NEGLECTED.
ยท Complainant decided to video events as wanted a record of the incidents that took place. MM Response: The videos from Guys Hospital will prove that KINGS is a TERROR CELL where 101 who was readmitted after he was sent home to die was abused and neglected. The STAFF and KINGS are recorded trying to get me to take my husband home without the support needed.
ยท Complainant states that nursing staff were abusive towards her and not caring for her husband appropriately
ยท Security staff were called and ejected (roughly handling her, causing her fingernail to break) her from the building โ she asked for her coat which was returned with money missing from the pocket. MM Response: Gayle Lewis is making it look like my only concerns were my BROKEN FINGER NAIL.
ยท Was safeguarding in place for complainantโs husband. MM Response: One was in place at GUYS. But at KINGS there was none. Reasons the STAFF did what they done. I have the recordings. Then I will go back to 2003-2008 at Mapother House Day Nursery when I had to contact CRB/DBS about safeguarding.
To ensure we understand the key points within your complaint that you would like answered and to ensure a thorough investigation takes place, I want to ensure that I have accurately presented your key concerns. MM Response: Gayle Lewis it is obvious you are aware of my VULNERABILITY and using it against me.
I would be grateful if you could confirm this is a fair reflection of your concerns for our investigation. MM Response: Can I advise Gayle Lewis to find my letter addressing this matter as I will do a LIVE about Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation the TERROR CELL where my husband was NEGLECTED. If this is not correct, or you have additional issues you would like us to investigate, then please contact me to confirm these points. MM Response: Gayle Lewis please access YouTube for this. You are now party to the DISCRIMINATION and am posting this online.
If you need communication support such as an interpreter or information in another language, audio, Braille, Easy Read or large print, please let me know. If there is anything you wish to discuss about your case, please either email or contact Olivia on 0203 299 4515. MM Response: The DISCRIMINATION continuing.
