Mervelee,Join us in calling on Wes Streeting to deliver the turning point for cancer we need.
Right now, the government are in the process of defining their approach to cancer for the next decade.
We’re calling for an ambitious, well-funded National Cancer Plan that can deliver the long-term changes needed for people affected by cancer. Will you join us?
Anyone with cancer should be able to receive a timely diagnosis and be able to access the best treatment possible, quickly.
But this isn’t the reality for many.
Key targets for starting cancer treatment have been routinely missed for the past decade, meaning too many cancer patients face unacceptable delays to access vital cancer care in England.
The challenge affecting cancer requires bold action.
The National Cancer Plan is a once in a decade opportunity to transform cancer survival in England.
The government committing to the development of a plan is a huge win.
During the general election one of our key calls was a long-term plan for cancer. We wouldn’t have gotten here without your campaigning.
We can’t stop now, cancer needs to stay at the top of the political agenda, to ensure the government follows through on creating a plan that makes England a “world leader in saving lives”. Add your name

Media volunteer newsletter – April 2025 Dear Media Volunteer,April is bowel cancer awareness month and as such, a particularly busy time of year for MVL.
Between the Bowelbabe Fund, Bobby Moore Fund and more recent focus on bowel cancer created by the likes of the inspirational Dame Deborah James, it’s an area where we increasingly rely on media volunteers with experiences of bowel cancer to share their stories. Media volunteers like Ellie (pictured with her fiancé Rory and dog Alfie), who was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer but, happily, is now living cancer free.
The 28-year-old from Peterborough has spoken to the media for us, recently been filmed as part of our work with our Partnerships team and, just last week, appeared in front of hundreds of Cancer Research UK staff as part of a panel at an internal meeting discussing progress around bowel cancer treatment.
Away from bowel cancer, we’ve also asked media volunteers to share their stories for a blog about radiotherapy treatment and also had young people with a cancer experience included in an article for our Digital News webpages. For more information on both those stories and more, keep reading.Thank you for being a media volunteer. Best wishes, Keyan Milanian Media Volunteer Liaison Team

Alleged Court Case Number – 012200933233 + Any Others
I, the Strong Jamaican Woman, Mervelee Myers, am competent and do solemnly and sincerely declare as follows:-
Dear Solicitors
This must be read with my UPDATED EVIDENCE and all other documentations I shared during the time; J I SOLICITORS represented me in this matter.
Re: POSSESSION PROCEEDINGS
Unprofessional Conduct of Sola Obajuluwa and Barrister Miranda Grell
Please see enclose my response to your correspondence about the HEARING that took place on the 9 December 2024 at Clerkenwell & Shoreditch which was to determine whether I received the assistance of an “Equality Act Assessor” as you consider it was essential for me. I am sorry to inform you I did not get any such letter and relied on the letter I received from the Court. I was not even sure whether it was you or the Counsel Ms Miranda Grell had attended Court because I was told that I did not have to attend. What I continue to find strange and unprofessional is the way the Solicitors Sola Obajuluwa and the Barrister Ms Miranda Grell is treating me like I do not have CAPACITY and is making decisions about a SERIOUS LIFE and DEATH MATTER without consulting me. The patterns of systemic discrimination can be identified in why J I SOLICITORS are representing me and not Stephen Agera from Charles Hills & CO. Barrister Angela Delbourg represented me when I was in Court for the first time before DJ Richard Hayes and from, I meet her at the Court, she told me I MUST be WHITER than WHITE. I was told by Stephen Agera that I should not speak in Court, yet after Court Barrister Angela Delbourg stated throughout the HEARING, she was scared I was going to SHOUT at the Judge. This is the pattern of MALICIOUS REPORTS that are used to call the London Ambulance Service and Metropolitan Police to my home that I am SHOUTING, and people are concerned about my MENTAL HEALTH. Since when is my MENTAL HEALTH an issue? But at the same time, I do not have a GP. The Solicitor is aware I do not have a GP from 5 December 2024 and blamed me for not having a GP but is joining with the Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust GASLIGHTING of me.
Taking Legal Aid for Injunction & Possession
The trial of the POSSESSION CLAIM will take place on 7 March 2025 at 10:00am with a time estimate of 1 day. For the record let me state that I have represented myself from Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust at the Employment Tribunals. Hence the reason I was a participant in Dr Maria Hudson’s research paper for the Policy Studies Institute “The Experience of Multiple Discrimination” recommended to ACAS www.acas.org.uk/researchpapers. Then https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 when I was made a victim of HMCTS after Judge Freer took -5 months to copy the Summary of CONMAN JOHN FENTON who Barrister Samantha Jones got to represent LEYF pretending to be a LAWYER. I was SCAMMED by Barrister Ryan Clement that JUDGEMENT was passed for him to pay back my husband £9445.00 and I have still not collected my money to date. Because I have given members of J I SOLICITORS and Barrister Miranda Grell copies of my BOOK, this will be used in EVIDENCE along with my online INVESTMENTS from I started my https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/RattyNembhard/ and https://www.facebook.com/mervelee.myers before transferring it to Google My Business. Some of which you have BULLIED, HARASSED and INTIMIDATED me to remove, from YouTube when Dr Phil Gregory breached the “Equality Act Protected Characteristics” and called my mobile after preparing a FAKE MEDICAL REPORT and trying to ENTRAP me to take RESPIREDONE to make me unable to FUNCTION. I must make mention of the fact that this is not the first time I have this kind of experience when someone, a MALE called my mobile and set EVENTS in place that impacted on my life. Only Richard Harty disappeared after kicking me out of University of East London and did not try to get YouTube to take down my video https://youtu.be/6-Znc7I7izc but it might be removed without me knowing because YouTube has been paid to do so.
Mental Health Fraud – CAPACITY
Since Dr Peter Ocansey and Georgina from South London and Maudsley showed up at my door again unannounced on 17 February 2025, I am going to make sure their roles in the GASLIGHTING are documented. Why is Dr Peter Ocansey trying to schedule an appointment with me, I have no knowledge of having an engagement with him except when a letter came stating an appointment was made for me to see him on the 19 December 2024 and I did not turn up. This is a LIE and backs my ARGUMENTS that the INJUNCTION is UNLAWFUL. I was not informed about the Court Order presided over by DJ Greenidge, DJ Swan and DJ Sterlini until after the fact of the VIOLENT NUISANCE on 1 August 2024. This date is EMANCIPATION DAY, and my CONTRIBUTIONS to British Values as an “Expert Authority on Subjects from the Cradle to the Grave” that I write about will have to be party of my UPDATED EVIDENCE. I know the name DJ Sterlini because his/her name appears on documents in my possession when my claims with Winsome Duncan was strike out by DJ Rand, DJ Zimmell and DJ Sterlini. Since I have had time to look at the FILES, now the burdens of caring for my HUSBAND are no more, I came to speak to you about the matter and bring additional PROOF that the INJUNCTION is UNLAWFUL. You claim the Court can do whatever they please in the matter and my WITNESS STATEMENT was already prepared. But I was never consulted about the WITNESS STATEMENT submitted. You told me you are unable to help me in the matter of the CLAIMS I took out. But DJ Swan who I have never met can strike out 5 OF my CLAIMS that they are without MERIT. When I challenged this HHJ Richard Roberts imposed a CIVIL RESTRAINT ORDER on me on behalf of Devonshires Solicitors LLP. Devonshires Solicitors LLP COERCED Stephen Agera to drop my case, and it is obvious they are doing the same to you. Based on your recent “Witness Statements of Debbie Gilchrist and Barbara McCoy” sent to me via email. However, I have not been contacted about updating my EVIDENCE for the trails on the 7 March 2025.
DJ Bell Psychiatric Assessment – Understanding Statutory Assessment Procedures October 2009
For the record I want to point out my roles as the EYFS coordinator, the SENCO and the Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator for my former employers 1 September 2009 to 27 September 2015 when I resigned with the second nervous breakdown in a toxic work environment. The fact that I was called on the 27 September 2021 by Richard Harty and the catalogue of events that happened at Barclays Bank and Nexus Health Group Decima Road Surgery leaving me without a BANK ACCOUNT that led to me ending up in RENT ARREAS. I was threatened with EVICTION over the telephone before my DATA was wiped from the CUSTOMER PORTAL. Rawnak Khan the Duty Solicitor represented me on the 19 December 2023 for the POSSESSION HEARING because Stephen Agera sent email to the Court to take him off. The Duty Solicitor sent me a letter dated 03/01/204 advising me to use THE EQUALITY ACT PROTECTED CHARACTERISTICS FOR MY DEFENCE. I was never informed about any HEARING on the 20/12/2023 as I was booked for a MEDICAL REVIEW with the GP at Decima Road Surgery. Yet DJ Naidoo presided over a HEARING claiming I was informed and did not turn up. This is the same PATTERNS used after Dr Phil Gregory’s Medical Report that I am MAKING UP THINGS. Let me put on record that DJ Bell sent 7 of my CLAIMS from County Court at Clerkenwell and Shoreditch to CLCC for CIVIL District Judge including that of Barrister Ryan Clement for which JUDGEMENT was PASSED.
CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
In the matter of CAPACITY ASSESSMENT DJ Bell ordered a “Psychiatric Assessment” which I attended on the 15 April 2024. The psychiatrist states I can INSTRUCT MY LEGAL TEAM. You got the Psychiatrist to rewrite the ASSESSMENT because it did not seem to FIT YOUR AGENDA to make MONEY from my VULNERABILITY. However, whilst setting me up to fail it seems you did not do your HOMEWORK about who is MERVELEE MYERS, whose BOOK is being used to INSPIRE WOMEN to challenge the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution Service. The fact that my RIGHTS were denied me when I was put on BENEFITS and have to do CAPABILITY for WORK ASSESSMENT to get BENEFITS will be wrapped up with the SENCO job offer for £46-55,009.00 I got from Smart Teachers in 2021.

Dr Ocansey and His TEAM
I have not received any AUTHORISATION about Dr Ocansey and his team from any VALID SOURCE. I only became aware of Dr Peter Ocansey when I received a letter stating I missed an appointment with him on the 19 December 2024. I did not receive that letter of appointment. However, Dr Peter Ocansey and Georgina visited my home unannounced on the 22 January 2025 and I entertained them, but they asked that I should not record so I adhered to their request 02032282240 is the telephone they left with me. They told me they would send me a letter inviting me to a MEETING. I called Georgina later to ask for EVIDENCE about how they found me when they visited, she said she would send it in the APPOINTMENT LETTER. I did not get any letter from them, and I am not sure the purpose of their visits to my home. They are trying to put it in my HEAD that my Neighbour is taking my LETTERS, because Dr Phil Gregory ask my son Kevin Murray if he thinks I will ATTACK my neighbour.

Hearing From Mervelee Myers
I called the London Ambulance Service out because I was unable to manage my SYMPTOMS and being on my own and without a GP, I did not want any of my DISABILITIES to become unmanageable. The Ambulance Personnel decided to call the GP and came back with the advice of what they were told. ADDITIONAL ADVICE: LOOK OUT FOR EMAIL/CALL FROM PATIENT CARE SERVICES REFERRING YOU TO THE SPECIAL ALLOCATION SYSTEM. ONCE YOU ARE REGISTERED WITH THEM TELL THEM ABOUT ONGOING SHAKING AND HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE ISSUES. The fact that my son Kevin Donovan Murray spent 2 weeks and 1 day in hospital because he is WORRIED about what is happening to his MOTTHER must be EVIDENCED. He WITNESSED firsthand what the neighbour and MET POLICE are doing to me.

Today is World Cancer Day. An international day that takes place each year to raise awareness about cancer and encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. At Cancer Research UK, we’re marking today across our social media channels, and shining a spotlight on our work as the world’s leading cancer charity, dedicated to saving and improving lives through our research, influence and information.
This week, we have two new opportunities to get involved. We’re asking about your experience of volunteering and being part of the Involvement Network at Cancer Research UK to help us improve the way we work with our volunteers in the future. The next survey asks what information you’d need to help you make an informed decision when considering a clinical trial.
Cancer Research UK has launched a £10m Cancer Data Driven Detection initiative, transforming how we assess cancer risk to advance early detection and precision prevention. We’d like to thank the network members who are involved in this important piece of work to help to revolutionise research and deliver real-world impact.
I hope you have a lovely week and thanks for your continued support and involvement in our work.

Media Volunteer newsletter – February 2025Dear Media Volunteer,As many of you will know, today is World Cancer Day. This annual event gives us the opportunity to remember those lost to cancer but also the progress we have made in cancer research over the years. It also acts, of course, as a reminder of why we must keep raising awareness and funds for research.
We’ve been marking the day with activity including Tommy (pictured above with his grandson) featuring in emails from Ticketmaster, one of our Corporate Partners.
Tommy, who appears in our “We Are” Brand campaign, took part in our TUXEDO clinical trial after he was diagnosed with bladder cancer.
It has also been a busy start to the year in other respects, with more information below about the relaunch of Race for Life, new films for our Legacy campaign and new posters in our shops supporting our work on cancers affecting children and young people – all supported by media volunteers like you.
Finally, we’d ask that you consider completing our latest volunteer survey to help shape how we work with our volunteers across the charity. More details below!Thank you for being a media volunteer.
Best wishes, Keyan Milanian Media Volunteer Liaison team

I hope you and your loved ones are enjoying a great start to 2025.
Here at Parkinson’s UK we kicked off the year with the launch of our refreshed brand. Want to take a peak?See our refreshed brand Our last rebrand was 15 years ago. A lot has changed since then, including the priorities of the Parkinson’s community. So we needed to shift our focus to better meet their needs.Refreshing our brand better reflects who we are as a charity and means we can be there for you when you need us.Over 1,000 members of the Parkinson’s community were involved in our brand refresh. We’re so grateful to everyone who took part in the process, from people with Parkinson’s, family, friends and carers, to scientists and health and social care professionals. You spoke, we listened, and together we’ve shaped something really powerful. A TulipSo, why a tulip? Our new logo incorporates a tulip symbol, which represents a pretty special tulip variety. It’s called the Dr James Parkinson tulip, created in 1980 and named after the scientist who first documented the condition in 1817.For every Parkinson’s journeyOur new strapline is ‘For every Parkinson’s journey’. Whether you have Parkinson’s, or know or care for someone who does, we’re here for you when you need us.Explore our refreshed brandThank you for being a part of the Parkinson’s community. We hope you love our new look and focus as much as we do.

Jane, Alison and I have been friends for over 60 years. We do everything together, including supporting one another through cancer treatment. My treatment is ongoing, but thanks to the work of Cancer Research UK, I’m able to lead a full, active life, and Jane and Alison are still right beside me.

Our team, and the work we do, isn’t possible without your help and support. Your input, however small you think it may be, helps to shape our work which will enhance the lives other people affected by cancer in the future. Thanks to the invaluable contributions made last year.
We wish you a prosperous New Year and look forward to working with you throughout 2025.
NHS 10-year plan consultation: Have your say to help overcome the challenges in cancer care The government are currently running a public consultation to help develop a 10-year plan to fix the NHS in England. This is an opportunity to have your say on the future of the NHS and ensure the views of people affected by cancer are heard to help address the challenges we’re facing in cancer care and improve care and outcomes going forward.

Here’s just a few highlights.Life Beyond Cancer Hub You shared your views to help shape the look and feel of a new online space that will include key information for patients and loved one’s post-cancer treatment. Hello, Mervelee!Happy New Year! Is it too late to still say that? I hope not, because it’s too soon for the energy and goals and ambitions of those resolutions to start slipping. One of my resolutions this year is to eat fewer sweets and empty carbs…I need you all to hold me to that! (Please don’t send me any cookies, even though I want them!)And of course, I renewed for another year my ongoing resolution to write at least one poem per month. What were your resolutions for this year, both as a person and as a writer? For your writerly resolutions, we might even share some (anonymously if you’d like) to serve as inspiration for others. And there’s nothing like telling others to help you stick to a goal. As for Atmosphere resolutions, one of our new year’s goals you’ll be seeing as soon as this month. That’s to provide you with more free tools to help you as a writer. So get ready to see things like an Author Brand Action Planner and a Book Publishing Timeline Calculator. We’ve been working hard on these free tools, and they’ll be coming your way before you know it.In the meantime, stay warm and keep writing!Best,Nick

Why Lucy’s volunteering again this year For 14 years, Lucy has volunteered at Cancer Research UK events such as Pretty Muddy across South Wales. “Aside from the cause, I have gained what can only be described as another family with staff and volunteers. The wonderful people I volunteer alongside make the early mornings and challenges of events easy to get through. There is a huge sense of fulfilment seeing the impact events have. There is nothing I love more than seeing participants’ faces as they cross the finish line knowing that they have achieved something great.”

Good news story
Tell us a little bit about who you are outside the business My name is Azize and I’m the CEO and founder at Goggleminds. For a number of years, I worked in the NHS spending a significant amount of time on improving education and training at an operational and strategic level. It’s a role I really enjoyed and led me to where I am today. I am somewhat of a risk taker in my personal life. I love being outdoors, exploring new places and going on adventures. I guess this comes from the very curious side in me. I also love giving back to my community and have done lots of charity work including a charity climb to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro a few years ago. I’ve been really lucky to see some amazing places and meet some incredible people. One of my favourite places I have visited has to be Machu Picchu. You walk for days and then on the final day, this magical place reveals itself. It’ll come as no surprise that one of my favourite movies is Indiana Jones. Describe your company and what it does We exist to help the people that help us all. Doctors, nurses and the many more that make up health and social care systems across the world, deserve the very best in the training and education they receive. We create and deliver exceptional learning experiences using immersive technologies like virtual reality, make training more accessible, effective and engaging. Currently, we are deployed throughout the UK and are expanding the use of our technology in developing countries globally. We aim to build the first VR training centre in Uganda in Q2 this year and have a target of building 100 of these centres by 2030. And there’s more. We believe that the future generation can solve some of the challenges we all face today and that inspiring children to think about careers in healthcare can provide long-term positive impact. This is why we are also delivering free educational VR workshops in primary and secondary schools, providing opportunities for those who may not otherwise get the chance. What motivated you to apply for the NatWest Accelerator? What did you value most out of it? At the start of the journey, I felt it was really important to get the best advice and support available, particularly given resources were very limited. I came across the NatWest accelerator programme and I thought it would be a fantastic opportunity to get the advice and support I needed, but also as a way to link with other founders on similar journeys and I was right. It turned out to be a fantastic catalyst and made me ask myself some fundamental questions about where Goggleminds could go and what we could be. Did you get any business support from any other organisations? What did you get out of that? What I realised quite quickly was that I needed very specific knowledge and expertise in the space in which I was planning to operate and we managed to get onto an accelerator programme at Oxford University Hospitals. It turned out to be a fantastic decision because the advice and support has led to a number of opportunities in the healthcare space both at the Trust and in the wider NHS community. We have a great relationship which is ongoing and we hope to go further over the coming months and years. Watch this space for some exciting news coming this year. If you could wave a magic wand and improve two things about the business support you’ve received, what would they be? I think sector intelligence is a critical aspect of operating within any sector. Getting access to very specific sector intelligence would be one thing. Another would be access to support around navigating the funding landscape which can be complex. What was a pivotal moment in your entrepreneurial journey? There have been lots of moments which changed the course of some of what we do today. A recent standout moment is our partnership with the UK sepsis trust, the first of its kind and one which has significant positive potential to help improve patient outcomes and ultimately save lives. As a result of this partnership, we have attracted extensive media attention across multiple news channels and radio stations which has helped us to reach audiences we would never have imagined. In fact, the view count in less than 2 weeks was over 5 million people. A lot of exciting things are happening in AI/AR/VR and the wider Tech industry at the moment. Based on your experiences, what advice would you give to other Tech entrepreneurs? Compete with yourself and have your own north star. This will require you to embrace failures as learning points, listen to your customers because they will tell you how to build a great product if you listen carefully and focus on incremental improvements that make you and your company better each day. Oh, and you’d better love what you’re doing because when things get tough, you can lean into your why. To Whom It May Concern
MERVELEE RATTY NEMBHARD-MYERS-TOMLINSON is preparing Santander for the Book about the Banks and Building Society involvement in the scamming of MERVELEE MYERS and Arnold Ebenezer Tomlinson from May 2004 when I asked the South East Press to publish my story to my visit to Nationwide Building Society in Brixton branch the day after I was assaulted by my stepson Trevor Anthony Tomlinson and I have to call the Police.
I suffered a Mini Stroke on the Sunday after the assault. If I were Santander I would get in touch so we can try resolving this matter.
I have posted evidence online from the time Santander targeted my husband with help from my stepson.
I have documentation from 2019 when I raised concerns about Santander and will be using in in my RESEARCH.
Santander is using their privilege to target me and my husband.

Hi Mervelee, We want to protect you from fraud. We do this in lots of ways. Sometimes it’s through awareness messages like this one. Other times its through system controls, such as the limits we’ve put in place for payments to cryptocurrency. Criminals try to get around prevention measures like these. One way is by getting you to move your money to another account in your name, before sending it on to them. They’ll give you reasons for why it can’t go straight from Santander to the intended destination. Such as ‘the bank doesn’t like customers investing elsewhere’. Or ‘it goes through quicker if you do it this way’. Really, it’s just to help avoid detection. How can you protect yourself? The final destination of your money is more important than how it gets there. You should always check things out thoroughly before moving any money. It’s a red flag if you’re told to move your money through another bank account. Even if it’s your own. If you’re contacted by anyone and told to move your money to keep it safe, stop. This is always a scam. If you’re investing in crypto assets, take extra care. This is high risk and crypto related scams are common. Never allow anyone to manage investments on your behalf. This includes setting up a crypto wallet, uploading ID or managing accounts remotely. If you’re considering investing, thoroughly research the company first. Consider getting independent advice. If you’re worried, stop. An important update for our members on our plan to buy Virgin Money Dear Mrs Myers, I wrote to you earlier this month to say that the Board of Nationwide was considering making an offer to buy Virgin Money. I said I would provide you with more information once a decision had been made. I am now pleased to confirm that Nationwide’s Board has carefully, and fully, considered this proposal. We have taken the comments received from members into account and examined thoroughly the information provided by Virgin Money. The Board believes the acquisition offers compelling benefits for Nationwide’s current and future members. Accordingly, it has made a binding offer that Virgin Money’s directors intend to recommend be accepted by their shareholders. You can see the full details of the offer and answers to questions you may have. This acquisition will strengthen Nationwide financially and presents an opportunity to accelerate our strategy. It delivers greater value for our members and broadens the range of services we offer to include those that many members have requested. Acquiring the Virgin Money business will create a financially stronger building society with a larger customer and deposit base. We expect to use this financial strength to support the continued provision of savings and lending rates for members in the future that are, on average, better than across the market in general.Nationwide will acquire a strong personal lending business and credit card range. For a while, we have considered how to extend the benefit of our mutual model to include business banking. This acquisition will bring the established business banking services of Virgin Money within the Nationwide Group. In the long term, we would make these, and accounts for clubs and charities, available to our members. As a result of the acquisition, we will increase the size of the Group’s branch network. We will also extend our Branch Promise by two years, meaning that everywhere we have a Nationwide branch, we promise to still be there until at least the start of 2028. The Board remains wholly committed to remaining a building society and a modern mutual that meets more of its customers’ and members’ banking needs. All customers will become part of a combined group with a clear focus on providing simply brilliant service to its customers. Last year Nationwide was able to make its first Fairer Share Payment to eligible members. We expect that a financially stronger combined Group would make future payments more likely, but these would only be to eligible Nationwide members and not to Virgin Money customers. The integration of the two businesses would be undertaken carefully over several years, and it will be designed to avoid disrupting services or customers. The Board believes that the benefits that this acquisition will bring to our current and future members are substantial and could not be delivered by Nationwide on its own. We will keep you updated on progress through our website and in our regular newsletter. If you have not signed up to receive the newsletter, you can do so here. As ever, we will continue to focus on delivering our Purpose: Banking – but fairer, more rewarding and for the good of society. Thank you for being a member. Yours sincerely, Kevin Parry Chairman

I am writing this tribute to the deceased for many reasons, but most poignantly from the personal perspective of a Mother, a Teacher, a Carer and a Person who knows about the transitional journey of CRAIG BABHAN who I help to nurture and with whom he develop secondary attachments in his childhood. In order for anyone to get the fuller picture of my association with the family, I will have to go back a few centuries to my childhood. Therefore despite my memory is not as sharp as a few years ago, when I started writing and documenting…? I am hoping I can write this tribute to depict the close knit community from which I was born and lived for almost as much years as GRAIG was given on this earth.
I left Jamaica for the UK on the 6th June 1992, for those of you who are better than me at mathematics, please do the calculations. My Hidden Disabilities are inclusive of dyscalculia, as my age is liable to change, depending on my situation. I sometimes have this need to take on the persona of others. I worked as a Basic School Teacher before coming to the UK where I set up home since 1992. Craig was one of many of my students, but like a few of my pupils I have a close relationship with him and love and treated him like one of my own. I order for you to understand, therefore I need to go back to my reflections of growing up in the local communities of Townhead and the surroundings.
The Cocker
Therefore let me start with the COCKER as this is where I can recall that CRAIG family history lie. I was only young but the family of Cockers live together in this big house, entering the raising to Townhead. The head of the household was the only male and he was surrounded by his sisters. They were described as Mullatoes. They were not white and neither were they black. One of the sisters was the Registrar for the area, and I honestly don’t recall what the others do for a living. But I recall my granny saying, Mr. Cocker was a well-known jeweler, but never taught this skills to anyone else. He eventually died with this talent instead of passing it on to anyone else either. I recalled Mr. Cocker as the Bursar at Frome Secondary School, where I attended from 1972-1976.
One of his sisters, Ms. Hilda was the Registrar for the locality and her name is on my Birth Certificate. The others were named Ms. (Sibby – Sybil), Ms. (Al – Alice), and Joy Cocker aka Joy Banhan’s grandmother worked at the Cocker household. Joy and her grandmother come to live at Townhead when Mr Cocker moved to the area and was the Bursar at my school. I never know any other name except Joy Cocker for CRAIG Mother, Joy and to this day that name remains. I recalled my grandmother used to be helping out at the Cocker and we carried water for the family from the stand pipe at Pringle Corner. I am not sure if my granny got paid for her services, but must have gotten some forms of payments for her services to help her get along in life?
The Cocker’s home was one of the modern homes built and they moved from another area, might be Somerton, or at least Mr. Cocker, to live at Townhead. Mr. Cocker drove one of the biggest car and must have been one of only, a minority of persons to own their own transport. Honestly I can’t recall the make of the car either, because I do not have a good memory for that kind of information. If I had known these things would turn out to be important, I probably would have documented and stored for future reference. Joy, CRAIG Grandmother moving to live and work for Mr. Cocker meant that Joy became a part of the Townhead community. I recall Ms Joy, she was a Basic School Teacher.
Townhead Baptist Church
The Townhead Baptist Church is a monument for the community and has been in existence from time memorial. My Mother was christened, married and baptized there and the family have a long history dating back with the church. My siblings and I were christened there and so is one of my sons. Even I don’t think I could cover the history of the Townhead Baptist Church. However I would like to touch on how I understand the Townhead Basic School, which is the foundation for my developing my passion for working with young children started. I was reliably informed after I attended a funeral and meet Ms. IVY Haseley nee McKitty, that she started the School at her Moth Ms. Molvina Trout’s home. It was subsequently given a permanent home at the church.
Ms. Molvina – Molly Trout was one of the witness at my parents wedding and my Mother claimed they are family. I no longer question the authenticity of those who my Mother claim are her family. Most of Westmoreland people are related, and the only way my family is not doubly related to others, is because my Papa is from St Elizabeth. There have been many Teachers coming out of the system, who I understand cut their teeth, as gaining experiences at the Basic School located at the church. Ms. Candy Gooden and possible Ms. Jenny Turner were colleagues of Joy Cocker when they worked at the Basic School located at the Townhead Baptist Church where the school was located.
I remember the church was more than just doing the work of saving souls for God, but was a Social Enterprise, delivering all kinds of services to the local communities. I take my younger breda Ervin to the clinic and I attended the school. I also attended the Sunday School until I become a rebel, when I was getting teased for being different. That’s why I know without a shadow of a doubt that I have disabilities, which I am researching to find out how they impacted on my life. But let’s get back to more about CRAIG. Joy form a relationship with Linval Banhan from Georges Plain. I recall there was a Teacher named Banhan from Georges Plain, teaching at Townhead Primary School. My reasons for this is the stories she told. The one in particular was the story about the wife who calls out to his wife for the poon. When the wife asks him to put on the “S”, he replied, mi wife, wey di Poon-S deh?
Joy and Linval courtship ended in marriage and CRAIG was the youngest of 3 children from this union. Working as a Basic School Teacher at the school located at the Townhead School premises, where my breda ASHTER, in his tenor as Councillor for the Friendship Division got it relocated. CRAIG started attending the school and as a favour to his Mother, I used to keep him at my home until she comes from her job to pick him up. His older breda Bryan who attended Mannings High School at the time would come and wait with him most times until Joy arrived. He was such a tiny little boy, but he was well brought up with impeccable manners. I am more than proud saying I helped in the nurturing of CRAIG as his teacher and during the time he spent at my home.
He was kind and loving to his elder breda Bryan, sharing whatever he was given with him. However the one thing that I recalled which stand out to this day for me, was how worried he would become when the dusk start coming and his Mother didn’t arrive to pick him up. Without doubt you would hear him saying in a pitiful voice “Night a Come Dung and MAMA don’t Come Fi Me Yet”? As I am writing this, I am filled with so much sadness. Because at the tender age of 33 years old, CRAIG Maker came to take him home without any prior notice. I am sure if it was left to his family to make a choice, they would have bargained with his Maker to give him a few more years.
I do not know what it is like to lose a child, but I have been traumatised by having family who were sick for years and died. I have experiences of having family murdered, cut down in cold blood. I have family whose funeral I could not attend because of circumstances beyond my control. I witness the decline in my Grandma’s health and she eventually died of a broken heart 2 years after her son was brutally murdered. Therefore I am writing from my heart about this Young Man who I helped to nurture during his most impressionable years of transitional development during his childhood.
Laying the Foundations
I was brought up the old fashioned ways by my parents and grandma as well as the support network from the communities who were my keepers and who I consider part of my extended family. With the advent of Social Media, which I know can be used for whatever reasons we intend to. I am sad, but at the same time I am happy knowing that CRAIG did not change from the loving Child he was, the child I helped to nurture. The little boy who was worried that his Mother did not come to get him to take him home and night was coming down. There is a song I sung when Charmaine Mahabier was brutally taken from his family “Death Have a Time to Steal Us Away…” I got trolled by some on Facebook, because they did not understand the story I was trying to tell.
This time I want it known that although I doubt whether I have seen or have a conversation with CRAIG, in the past 25 years, I am happy about what I am reading about his life on Social Media. I am writing this tribute in the hope that CRAIG children will have it as a memory of their FATHER, when they grow up. It’s all good and well thinking of the moment that is now and not capturing and documenting for the future. I had a troubled childhood when my Father was struck down with Parkinson’s and I am only trying to capture 45+ years of a blighted life because I got counselling. I would like to tell everyone that knowledge is power and ignorance is bliss.
We need to unite for the benefit of the future generations and I am using my skills to help keep CRAIG memory alive for his children and family. RIP GRAIG DAMION BANHAN. Your legacy will live forever. You were only given 33 years to come, make your marks and leave your legacy. I am sure no one will allow all the good you have done to be ever forgotten. Already it is been documented in cyberspace.
Sleep on and take your rest. Precious Memories how they linger…?
I join in with all the families from Townhead and the surrounding communities of Westmoreland and the entire Jamaica in honouring your life that was cut short as a result of this terrible tragic accident.
I am a writer and keen photographer. For me writing is therapy.

January 2014, this was me in Portmore Jamaica St Catherine. Don’t ask me I don’t know, where or even how to get there? I still don’t have a beautiful face, but I have the #Assets in other departments. Aint staying up late, I am going to cook cow foot for Mr Tomlinson tomorrow.
This is the day I attended Mr Erving Green’s funeral service at Mount Grace Westmoreland Parish. Then it was off to stop off to see my #Auntie_Telyn in Goshen St. Elizabeth, Jamaica. Then on our way to Clarendon Parish, Jamaica to meet my #Auntie_Hortense for the first time. Before heading off to see my #Auntie_Mellie_Salmon and Myrna Nembhard in Saint Catherine Parish. When I go home I am all over the place, like them terpintine me. That’s why I buy my ticket for the Alzheimer’s Society Corals at Christmas at Southwark Cathedral. This is in honour of my Mother who suffered with Dementia and that’s why I am a Dementia Friends. That’s why LEYF Nurseries not going to get away with what they have done to ruin my life by using my vulnerability against me.
Now the BIGOTS who place this online at https://www.gov.uk/…/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years…, giving Winsome Duncan: Author & Public Speaker a cover for Peaches Publications to carry out terrorists activities, can take the time to reflect. I have been dealing with the establishments and systems and some corrupt individuals and organisations that have sold out and lost their moral compass. I leave them to time and my GOD. Good night Facebook and I have the rest of my life to look forward to. Today is the date of destiny. I have paperwork to start tomorrow as soon as I read and digest and know exactly what I am supposed to be doing.

Taurus: Beware of falling prey to a charmer. This manipulator will ask you to pay for a purchase and say that they’ll reimburse you. Don’t believe them. After making some discrete enquires, you’ll discover this person has a long track record of deception.
Ok, was talking to someone today and told them what #JuliePowell done to me. Her response was “you don’t have luck with people”? well I learn from every singlew mistake I have ever made in life. As for the co-CONspyHaters, I have them covered…
This morning I was listening to the messages on my house phone, and there is one from Ryan Clement. Listening to it, just make me mad that someone can be so mean. But there is a GOD, when I told the lady at the CAB the price I paid for the foolishness, she couldn’t believe.
But I wasn’t even aware that there is one there from Winsome Duncan: Author & Public Speaker, saying all that she has done for me. That thieving sadistic bitch is going to get her comeuppance.
Wait until the people find out that Peaches Publications is a front for her #scams, then she will know what GOD she is serving.
She was planning to harm me at her 40th birthday party on the 27th October. But my #Papa_IS_Nembhard, #Auntie_IcylynPowell_Telyn & #Uncle_Sylvester_Nembhard made sure the Mad Head take me like #Auntie_Anita aka Moses that I couldn’t turn up. My GOD is good oh!
I was scrolling through my niece Sara-Kay Nembhard’s tingy and see one of thses photos and it brings back memories of my breda BYRON. It was around this time in 2007 when I started corresponding with him. It lasted until I made him a pledge on his death bed. At the time his organs were shutting down and I have to relay the messages through his #wife. Despite the trails and tribulations I have faced at the hands of King’s College Hospital, LEYF Nurseries and the Employment Tribunal, I am down but not out. So I continue my Fight4justice. In honour of my other breda ASHTER….
I put my Cuz Joyce SAUNDERS-Brown photo here because she is going through her trials and tribulations with Cancer. I set up the Janet Beeput Page to celebrate my young cuz’s life. She departed at the age of 43, now I am on the verge of losing another member of my family. Now what they have done at https://www.gov.uk/…/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years… is to penalise me for the DNA I was born with. The DNA that left me predisposed to all manner of disabilities and health conditions. So that’s why I will be fighting for the rest of my life to right the wrongs that cause many to be on the verge of an epedemic where people are becoming part of the statistic of 1 in 5 suicides are associated with unemployment. Well it was Ryan Clement who brought this to my attention when I showed him my photo in the HCT Group, Impact Report 2016. Little did I know it would be used against me as self-fulfilling Phophecy by Winsome Duncan: Author & Public Speaker?

We need all the laws to promote INCLUSION. In the meantime I want an Inquiry into the Early Years Sector so no other employees have to go through my ordeals at LEYF Nurseries. And the #EmploymentTribunals affirm the Discrimination and presided over another miscarriage of justice. I have come across too many employees whose lives have been destroyed. They merely existing
That’s why I have my Fight4justice campaign. I told #DilysEpton at the HOC on 27th March 2015, “If I was an animal at BIB the RSPCA (England & Wales) would rescue me. She turned up her snotty nose and said “that’s not what they say about you…”? Well I will stop mention the BIGOTS, because they waiting for time to run out.
#yearinreview2016 I refuse to tag any one signle person. I will leave it for everyone to claim their share of the #Support they have given me throughout 2016. So looking forward to #2017tomakeDreams become #VisionsofRealities. Looking forward to the continued #SupportNetwork that you have been since we linked on Facebook!

Good morning Facebook, I said I was going to do the #Ironing today, but changed my mind. The reasons are below.
Taurus – Lori Reid: Jot down that dream, tune, recipe, formula or watever inspired idea came to you on waking. Financially, it could prove a winner. But keep matters under your hat until after lunch when it’s all systems go. Call to hear when you must shop with care.
Ok, so I will go for the #Dream! In this way I can continue my Fight4justice against LEYF Nurseries and let the #Systems & the #Establisment see that no amount of conspiring & colluding will be #Tolerated to allow #Companies & #Organisations getting away with #Discrimination as in the Equality Act 2010.
Nobody said life was going to be easy. Too many of us believe we must deny others their #Entitlement that is basic for us humans to enjoy our rights and freedoms without discrimination on any grounds as stated at #Article14 of the #UnitedNationsConventionontheRightsoftheChild. Can they see the #PosterChild in this advert…? Well I was his #KeyPerson as regards the EYFS Welfare Requirements. When I identified him and others at a former workplace as needing #EarlyInterventionStrategies… The #Manager stood for about #5minutes, said she done her #Observations and there were no causes for concerns. Then she asked “why do you say children have #SEND?” The children who attend parents are #Professionals so they can’t have Disabilities. I was left to go do #Research about Eugenics. The RIH. That’s why when I see headline grabbing news like that in the Daily Express of Sunday #23rdOctober2016: “I triumphed despite my Asperger’s… and other people can too”, I know I am write and they were wrong. When I was this child’s key person, he was reading at the #4yearsold. I came across a few #Giftedchildren during my time at King’s College Hospital: Mapother House Day Nursery from #April2003toNovember2008 when I was forced to resign like at LEYF Nurseries. Now is the #Establishment going to keep burying their heads in the sand before realising that there are fundamental concerns that need addressing in the #EarlyYearsSector? Don’t tell me the times I spent accepting the challenges as I work with my #Disabilities to become a #Graduate from the The Open University is going to lead to LEYF Nurseries getting away with #Breaching the Data Protection Act 1998, the Human Rights Act 1998. My Fight4justice will lead me unto taking up Advocacy for All as there are employees struggling to cope with the #ModernDaySlavery present in today’s workplaces. Employers like LEYF Nurseries have become experts at pushing them beneat the carpets and getting other #Organisations to cover for them. Asks me how I know & I will give you the evidence from my #DefensivePractice ?
