Have 2 more Sessions & I’ll be back to being my Own Therapist. I can be y own Confessor, Obeah/Gunzo Woman or anything else that I chose to be. Only 1 thing I know, no1 is going to catch me out as I have 1 interest & 1interest only – To Protect my Loved Ones. Life is not just about Me, but all the others whom y actions and behaviours can affect even when they go back to my Hedonistic Days b4 I knew any better & no1 was none the wiser. Now I go write 1 Tribute that got wired in my head. After that I tackle my Assignments. It’s official I don’t have to be KNRA fi di time being. The Law says I must stay a mi Yard & Care 4 TOM! Dr. Ankle and My Son Valdin Legister Working in Education in Jamaica I have my sons aged 20 years old and decided not to have any more children because of my DNA.
Mervelee Myers is included in this statistic having my sons Kevin Murray and Valdin Legister by the age of 20 years old. I get pregnant in school age sixteen (16) years old, and my son’s father wanted me to have an abortion. However, I am now blamed by my son Kevin Murray for making sacrifices. My form teacher at Frome Secondary School Mr Felix Rose advised me to go back to school and I enrolled at Manning’s High School “Evening Classes”. I was fortunate to pass GCE O’Level English which I will thank Mr Rose and the Teacher, Mr Thompson for my empowerment. I was to get pregnant the second time when I applied to go to Teacher’s College, but it was not to be. The result of that pregnancy is Valdin Allan Legister. My friend Lorette Cranston advised me to have an abortion. My son’s father Alverie Michael Legister said he did not believe in abortion. Since I was not the only one who created the baby, I respected him as a father and made the decision to have my child and give up college. My mother did not have her first child until she was 22 years old, and all of us are the same mother and father. Valdin Allan Legister can validate that Mervelee Myers has been creating the legacies. But more importantly, my son and I have broken the chain of Teenage Pregnancy before finishing Secondary/High School. My granddaughter is seventeen (17) years old. Jamaican has seen almost 60,000 births to mothers under age 20 over the last decade.
A whopping total of 59,591 births to adolescents were recorded between 2009 and 2019, according to data provided by the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (Statin). This number accounts for 16 per cent of total births within the period. MM Updates: The year 2009 is a pivotal year for Mervelee Myers as can be verified by my online profile. The fact relevant is that I started working with Westminster Children Society (WCS) now London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) after returning from my Family Union the Summer of 2009. The years: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 saw the highest percentage of such occurrences with 17; 17.9; 18; 18; and 17 per cent, respectively. In addition, the Jamaica Observer has learnt that some of the young mothers account for multiple births. Dr O’Neil Ankle, principal at Jonathan Grant High School, told the Sunday Observer that prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic he counted more than 18 young women at his school who had already had a child. “One of them already had two children. That’s the same reason I was going on like that. I met with 18 of them and we talked and shared things. And these children are not dunce. They are bright,” he said. MM Updates: I can relate to this as my Form Teacher Mr Felix Rose said the same to me, you are not dunce, having a baby should not stop me getting an education. He advised me to go back to Evening Classes after having my baby. Ankle was making reference to a virtual orientation session, that went viral last September, in which he was heard telling his young male students: “Two-minute man unnu… put a block pon yuh penis and calm yuhself and concentrate pon the nine or five subjects that you’re going to do and stop focus pon front.”

Student mothers, he said, would ask: “Sir, can I go home?” When he asks, “Why do you want to go home?” the students, he said, would respond: “Sir, the lady who is taking care of my child is leaving an mi don’t have anybody to take care of my child.” “What do I do? Tell the student she can’t go? She has to go,” he said. Ankle, however, told the Sunday Observer that from observation, schoolboys aren’t solely responsible for impregnating their peers. “While many of the students would’ve got pregnant courtesy of these young boys, many are done by adults, not schoolboys — adults 21 and upwards. Adults that are in jobs and not young boys. MM Updates: I must confess I was lucky to escape unscratched from some of the heartrending experiences of some of these young girls because of my upbringing. “And to take care of that child and manage education where you want to have your subjects and move on to university, those two things don’t really walk in the same lane because you now have the responsibility to try and get an education and to take care of a mouth that you never really prepared for,” he added, noting that in most cases the fathers leave the young mothers to fend for themselves or drop out of school. MM Updates: I was privilege to be at home with my family. I have taken on responsibilities from the time my youngest sibling was born when I was seven (7) years old. I had to take my brother to the clinic located at the Townhead Baptist Church for his checks. By the age of ten (10) years old my grandmother takes my nephew to live at our home and I helped with his care. Former national director of Jamaica Youth for Christ (JYC), Reverend Herro Blair Jr told the Sunday Observer that the number of births to adolescents was alarming. He further reasoned that these births contribute to the “decline of Jamaica”. MM Updates: My sons came from unplanned pregnancies; however, I made the decision to make the changes necessary to give my boys the best chances in life. “A vast majority of these children will be the boys that are standing on the roadside. A vast majority will be the children who have children. The worst thing happening in Jamaica right now is, one, our uncontrollable desire to allow the sexual culture to go the way it is going; and two, the fact that this large number of teenage pregnancies is contributing to the negative climate and the negative economy of our country,” said Blair Jr. MM Updates: It is not always helpful to generalise as I prefer to analyse my story and research from personal experiences. My mother did not have her first child until she was twenty-two (22) years old. I on the other hand have my two sons aged 20 years old. I am one of the unfortunate teenagers who got pregnant in school. My sons have their lives planned and my younger son became a father before his older brother. “When I was growing up, children went to church even if their parents didn’t go to church. Now, a lot of those children are not even going to church. So, when I meet a boy in Olympic Gardens and he tells me that he’s 15 years old and he’s a gunman, I can understand because he has no sense of value.” MM Updates: I am from the generation whose parents were practicing Christians and I went to Sunday School and Church. I would like to share my experience of how I was taught to develop resilience because of the influence of the Church on my upbringing and how it takes a village to raise a child. I was practicing for the Christmas Concert at the Townhead Baptist Church that my family attended. Mum said she did not have money to buy shoes, I stopped practicing. My teacher noticed I stopped practicing and asked why. She advised me to wash the crepe I was wearing, come to school barefoot, so I have the crepe to wear to Church for the Christmas Concert. The lack of value for life, he reasoned, must be addressed. MM Updates: I am proud of my upbringing in rural Jamaica, and I must share how my strict upbringing in a male dominated household help to make me the person who I am today. My history is to be found at the Townhead Baptist Church where my grandparents worshipped. My mother was christened, married, and baptised at the Church. As a child, I attended Sunday School, but I was teased by older girls, because I was different. I recalled my father stopped worshipping at the Church he was Baptised and Married and joined another church. I have a vivid memory of dad taking me on his bicycle to the Riverside on the morning of the Baptism, even when he no longer worships at mum’s Church. I often talk about dad greeting everyone he meets on his way to the riverside. I even joked that dad will even greet the dog if he sees one. I stopped going to Sunday School because I did not feel comfortable with the teasing. The fact that dad was worshipping at another Church led to the opening of doors to my empowerment. Dad started his own Sunday School and home, and we would go to his Church in Savanna-La-Mar on special occasion to perform. I recall walking home from Sav because we missed the bus. I passed Bible Knowledge with credit because of my father’s teaching. Despite the changes after my dad was stricken with Parkinson’s disease that changed my life, I bring my sons up to the same standard of Christian values and beliefs I was raised with.
“You look at our gunmen today, just walking up in crowds and shooting up people, or just doing whatever they want. They’ve lost all sense of value for life. Spend time and money on making sure that the children — those being born today and those in primary school today — learn the life skill of conflict resolution, respect and value so that as they grow, the country itself can be a better place,” Blair Jr said. MM Updates: I want to put a different twist on this from my personal perspectives and experiences that can cause children not to have a positive image of the Police and what they represent. When I was growing, I know the Police was there to protect me. One of my brothers served with the Jamaica Constabulary Force from 1976 the year when my first son was born. Here is incident that happened at my home, and I am glad my sons were too young to remember. The Police turned up at my house to carry out a search based on a malicious report my brother had guns. Because he was actively involved in Politics, the fact I was traumatised after my dad developed Parkinson’s disease left me feeling I was glad dad was not alive to witness such an indignity. For me the actions of the Police were not there to protect, but to intimidate with their long guns. My brother was not at home, and I wonder what would have happened. There was the murder of Linden aka Lloydie Legister, who was taken from his bed in his home from a mistaken identity. On 8 January 2018 I debated the murder of Charmaine Mahabeir on Facebook and was trolled. Last time I see the posts there were 3,706 views. I must say without reservations that I am holding Prime Minister Andrew Holness and the Jamaica Labour Party responsible for mismanaging the crime situation and not delivering the mandate especially they received in Westmoreland. But early pregnancy does not mean that all is lost, argued 31-year-old Petagay Pinnock, who became a mother at age 15. Today, she has five Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) subjects and is a scholarship recipient at University College of the Caribbean (UCC). MM Updates: I did not graduate from Secondary School, the first time I graduated was from Lambeth College where I studied 1997-199. I graduated with a Student of the Year Certificate and was advised to use my assignments for my first BOOK and attend university. “My advice to teen mothers is to go right back to school… don’t wait,” she said. MM Updates: I agree as I became a graduate for the first time in 1999 after enrolling at Lambeth College. Some of my tutors advised me to use my assignments for my first BOOK. I was in an abusive marriage and unable to go to university as advised. But I was headhunted out of Lambeth College for a job as a Room Leader at William Wilberforce, Lambeth Walk Day Nursery where I worked with a teenager Joelle Lax. “There are places that are free or come with a small cost. I know it’s hard and you might think there’s no way to get back on track, but I can tell you there’s always a way. You just have to be determined to succeed and you will. If I was as determined as I am now, I would have already achieved all I’m achieving now. So, take the step while you are young and be as driven, dedicated, and determined and all things will be possible,” she added. MM Updates: Age is no barriers to getting an education and I use my brother Byron as an example. He studied after leaving Frome School, but he made use of attending Kenilworth Youth Training Centre and other facilities. I paid to attend Lambeth College but was lucky at The Open University. I paid for my first course at the OU and was lucky to be sponsored by UNISON http://unison.org.uk for my Health & Social Care Level 2 Course. Otisa Wilmoth, past head girl of Green Pond High School, also got pregnant during high school. With six grade ones in grade 11, Wilmoth was the top CSEC performer at Green Pond in 2020. MM Updates: With 2 miscarriages of justice after bereavement and losses I had to start at the bottom of the career ladder after the death of my brother. She hopes her success, despite her pregnancy, shows other young girls in a similar situation that it is not the end of the road. MM Updates: The treatment of my family leaves me devastated that they could treat me like this after the sacrifices I made to break the cycle of poverty that impacted on my family from the time my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease. “My words of advice are to never give up and they should believe in themselves and know that if they weren’t strong, they would not have been able to survive child-birth. It’s not the end of the road for them as there will always be trials and struggles, but we are mothers now and our children need us to pave the way for a better future for them,” she said. MM Updates: I survived more than childbirth, but after the death of my mother, whose story I heard from Valdin Legister’s grandmother Mrs Connie Jordine-Legister, I was privilege to be the surviving daughter of my parents. My experiences mirrors that of my mother and grandmothers. “Being a teenaged mom means that it’s not just you anymore; you have a young one looking up to you. They need to see that you are strong and that you are doing what’s right,” Wilmoth stated. MM Updates: The sacrifices I made for my sons cannot be measured but to have my family and friends joining in to make my life hell, will not stop me been the person whose mother did the same for her children and family. She added that many teen moms get pregnant a second time because their families turn their backs on them. “Don’t let that stop you. People will always leave when things aren’t in their interest or going their way anymore. Just know that a higher education is what’s going to prove to the world that we are survivors, and one wrong judgement in life can’t spoil our futures forever. We are going to continue to work hard and excel because we are not just living for ourselves, we are living for our child as well. I will never let anyone, or anything, stop me because my son is counting on me,” Wilmoth told the Sunday Observer. MM Updates: I was a graduate after studying with the OU 2004 – 2010. I graduated on the 2/5/2009 and my fiftieth (50) birthday was the 19/5/2009. My sons and family were beneficiaries of my hard work and the sacrifices to break the cycle of poverty. Mother’s Day Today May 12th, 2013, is being celebrated as Mother’s Day around the world but not in the UK. So even thou I have been living in the UK for over 20 years I do what everyone else does and celebrate Mothering Sunday with the children I work with. However, I always celebrate officially around this time because my mother and the other women who played important roles in my life are living abroad. Even thou I told my children that there is a different time for Mother’s Day in the UK, they still salute as part of the custom at this time too. My mum is the most important person in my life and for me every day is Mother’s Day as far as I am concerned. This week is also being celebrated as Dementia Awareness Week, so I have decided to write about the debilitating condition that has mum in its grasp and from which there is no escape. I know for certain that she will only be released from her misery when the good Lord decided to answer our prayers and take her home to be with her loved ones. Coping along the way My mum has always known, cared for and be around family friends and acquaintances who needed special support because of illnesses all her life from she was very young. She lost children in infancy; helped to care for her dad, husband, mother; buried her brother, sons and numerous families but she was always able to bounce back. Now that the Lord has seen fit to strike her down with Dementia, this has become a trying time for her and the rest of the family. We know there is no way back and we must do our utmost best to support her the best we can until she is called home to rest from her toils. Now that I am older and wiser, I will no longer question the works of God as I did when my dad was stricken for over a decade with his illnesses. I have also come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to get rid of the DNA hence the genes I was born with and is trying to make my life as beneficial as is decently possible until the good Lord decided my time has come to be struck down with any one of my many ailments which I inherited from my parents. In the meantime, I am saving my energies to make mum’s life as comfortable as possible until the rest of her remaining days here on this earth. Sometimes I get burden down along the way and as I am only human lose my cool, but like my mum I refused to keep down and will fight for a better outcome. I have decided to find an outlet for my pent-up emotions and use my knowledge creatively by writing about life’s experiences. So, I hope this medium will put me on the road to redeeming myself and enable me to become more focused about the things that are most important to me. MM Updates: I could have been a statistic because of lack of education with my first consensual sexual experience. To Foundation: I was a Basic School Teacher in Jamaica and discover the workplace nursery when I was working as a Contract Cleaner at the BBC White City. Childhood Traumas: I started caring from my youngest sibling was born. I attended Lambeth College to get the qualification needed to gain employment in a situation where I could get the consistency, continuity and familiarity of a person who experienced “Childhood Traumas”. Because of the disability of my father, stricken with Parkinson’s disease, developed the same symptoms. Making Most of My Opportunities in the UK: The fact that I experienced two miscarriages of justice after bereavement and losses indicate why I have taken up advocacy on behalf of those who have been made voiceless, vulnerable victims of the systems using the laws to discriminate against us. Discrimination Ruin My Career: My data is in the public domain and my defensive practice will prove that those colluding with my former employer must be brought to justice. Miscarriages Of Justice Impacted On My Life: The fact that the Judiciary Of England And Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution colluding to make me a criminal needing “Emotional Regulation Treatment” which is an entrapment to cover up the abuses in reviews online. Must be a force for change so there is no other Mrs Gloria Cameron of “CASE DISMISSED”. Discovering The Mastermind Of Men In Childcare: I will end by saying that I have spent 8 years of my life challenging the HMCTS, CPS, CJS, MOPAC, IOPC, JCIO, BSB, SRA, DBS, HMPPS CCMCC and cohorts that changed my life from the social butterfly to the person having suicidal thoughts. I was pushed over the edge by those who joined in to cover for LEYF. In 2010 I was a participant in Dr. Maria Hudson’s Employment Tribunal research paper the “Experience of Multiple Discrimination”. By August 2010 I conducted “A Voice of a Child” project for LEYF CEO June O’Sullivan. Lightening Strikes Twice: I was at home on 27/9/201 when I was called on my mobile and the evidence is online. I went into Barclays and and the repetition of 2004 was carried out at the counter. But when I checked Richard Harty’s LinkedIn profile I was flabbergasted by what I found out. My Mission To Change The World For Future Generation: My Fight4justice Advocacy that was started on Facebook before taken to Google My Business. For 8 years I was made a victim having suicidal thoughts. My husband is TRAUMATISE but I refuse to be the HCT Group Impact Report 2016 statistic of 1 in 5 of all suicides is associated with unemployment. The reason I was given a criminal record to be 600,000 older people in the UK say they leave their home once per week or less. Back At CLCC On 22/7/2022: The world will know about the hate crimes against me and my husband after the death of my mother. How did LEYF and cohorts think they can get away with their depravity.

I diagnosed my mother with dementia from my OU studies hearing of her behaviours. My journey with mum is similar to that I had with my father with Parkinson’s disease. My story is online so am not writing too much. Except saying after the death of my mother I became a target of haters. I experienced the second miscarriage of justice at the hands of HMCTS. I was pushed over the edge to be made a criminal needing ERT. After I was pushed over the edge to be having suicidal thoughts. I am lucky that my husband who will be 99 years old next month does not have dementia. Otherwise, we would be dead, has to be my carer. The world will know about the elder abuse that caused my husband to be TRAUMATISE.

I a in control! Did not turn on ICT for the past 4 days, only the old mobile # without internet. Need to shut myself from this Big Bad Mad World or I might have to put up a sign like y former Neighbour TESS that evey1 should blinking leave me alone unless they are from the MAUDSLEY…? Have 2 more Sessions & I’ll be back to being my Own Therapist. I can be y own Confessor, Obeah/Gunzo Woman or anything else that I chose to be. Only 1 thing I know, no1 is going to catch me out as I have 1 interest & 1interest only – To Protect my Loved Ones. Life is not just about Me, but all the others whom y actions and behaviours can affect even when they go back to my Hedonistic Days b4 I knew any better & no1 was none the wiser. Now I go write 1 Tribute that got wired in my head. After that I tackle my Assignments. It’s official I don’t have to be KNRA fi di time being. The Law says I must stay a mi Yard & Care 4 TOM! Then I look forward to whatever the Future Brings…? When that time comes I have sum decisions to make about the path I should go down…? Lord please give me strength to continue as I am meant to go on. As always I can depend on my sister Mertie Bernard to pick up the phone & chat to me when she feels the vibes. I a in control! Did not turn on ICT for the past 4 days, only the old mobile # without internet. Need to shut myself from this Big Bad Mad World or I might have to put up a sign like y former Neighbour TESS that evey1 should blinking leave me alone unless they are from the MAUDSLEY…? Have 2 more Sessions & I’ll be back to being my Own Therapist. I can be y own Confessor, Obeah/Gunzo Woman or anything else that I chose to be. Only 1 thing I know, no1 is going to catch me out as I have 1 interest & 1interest only – To Protect my Loved Ones. Life is not just about Me, but all the others whom y actions and behaviours can affect even when they go back to my Hedonistic Days b4 I knew any better & no1 was none the wiser. Now I go write 1 Tribute that got wired in my head. After that I tackle my Assignments. It’s official I don’t have to be KNRA fi di time being. The Law says I must stay a mi Yard & Care 4 TOM! Dr. Ankle and My Son Valdin Legister Working in Education in Jamaica I have my sons aged 20 years old and decided not to have any more children because of my DNA.
Mervelee Myers is included in this statistic having my sons Kevin Murray and Valdin Legister by the age of 20 years old. I get pregnant in school age sixteen (16) years old, and my son’s father wanted me to have an abortion. However, I am now blamed by my son Kevin Murray for making sacrifices. My form teacher at Frome Secondary School Mr Felix Rose advised me to go back to school and I enrolled at Manning’s High School “Evening Classes”. I was fortunate to pass GCE O’Level English which I will thank Mr Rose and the Teacher, Mr Thompson for my empowerment. I was to get pregnant the second time when I applied to go to Teacher’s College, but it was not to be. The result of that pregnancy is Valdin Allan Legister. My friend Lorette Cranston advised me to have an abortion. My son’s father Alverie Michael Legister said he did not believe in abortion. Since I was not the only one who created the baby, I respected him as a father and made the decision to have my child and give up college. My mother did not have her first child until she was 22 years old, and all of us are the same mother and father. Valdin Allan Legister can validate that Mervelee Myers has been creating the legacies. But more importantly, my son and I have broken the chain of Teenage Pregnancy before finishing Secondary/High School. My granddaughter is seventeen (17) years old. Jamaican has seen almost 60,000 births to mothers under age 20 over the last decade.
A whopping total of 59,591 births to adolescents were recorded between 2009 and 2019, according to data provided by the Statistical Institute of Jamaica (Statin). This number accounts for 16 per cent of total births within the period. MM Updates: The year 2009 is a pivotal year for Mervelee Myers as can be verified by my online profile. The fact relevant is that I started working with Westminster Children Society (WCS) now London Early Years Foundation (LEYF) after returning from my Family Union the Summer of 2009. The years: 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014 saw the highest percentage of such occurrences with 17; 17.9; 18; 18; and 17 per cent, respectively. In addition, the Jamaica Observer has learnt that some of the young mothers account for multiple births. Dr O’Neil Ankle, principal at Jonathan Grant High School, told the Sunday Observer that prior to the novel coronavirus pandemic he counted more than 18 young women at his school who had already had a child. “One of them already had two children. That’s the same reason I was going on like that. I met with 18 of them and we talked and shared things. And these children are not dunce. They are bright,” he said. MM Updates: I can relate to this as my Form Teacher Mr Felix Rose said the same to me, you are not dunce, having a baby should not stop me getting an education. He advised me to go back to Evening Classes after having my baby. Ankle was making reference to a virtual orientation session, that went viral last September, in which he was heard telling his young male students: “Two-minute man unnu… put a block pon yuh penis and calm yuhself and concentrate pon the nine or five subjects that you’re going to do and stop focus pon front.”

Student mothers, he said, would ask: “Sir, can I go home?” When he asks, “Why do you want to go home?” the students, he said, would respond: “Sir, the lady who is taking care of my child is leaving an mi don’t have anybody to take care of my child.” “What do I do? Tell the student she can’t go? She has to go,” he said. MM Updates: I must confess I was lucky to escape unscratched from some of the heartrending experiences of some of these young girls because of my upbringing. “And to take care of that child and manage education where you want to have your subjects and move on to university, those two things don’t really walk in the same lane because you now have the responsibility to try and get an education and to take care of a mouth that you never really prepared for,” he added, noting that in most cases the fathers leave the young mothers to fend for themselves or drop out of school. MM Updates: I was privilege to be at home with my family. I have taken on responsibilities from the time my youngest sibling was born when I was seven (7) years old. I had to take my brother to the clinic located at the Townhead Baptist Church for his checks. By the age of ten (10) years old my grandmother takes my nephew to live at our home and I helped with his care. Former national director of Jamaica Youth for Christ (JYC), Reverend Herro Blair Jr told the Sunday Observer that the number of births to adolescents was alarming. He further reasoned that these births contribute to the “decline of Jamaica”. MM Updates: My sons came from unplanned pregnancies; however, I made the decision to make the changes necessary to give my boys the best chances in life. “A vast majority of these children will be the boys that are standing on the roadside. A vast majority will be the children who have children. The worst thing happening in Jamaica right now is, one, our uncontrollable desire to allow the sexual culture to go the way it is going; and two, the fact that this large number of teenage pregnancies is contributing to the negative climate and the negative economy of our country,” said Blair Jr. MM Updates: It is not always helpful to generalise as I prefer to analyse my story and research from personal experiences. My mother did not have her first child until she was twenty-two (22) years old. I on the other hand have my two sons aged 20 years old. I am one of the unfortunate teenagers who got pregnant in school. My sons have their lives planned and my younger son became a father before his older brother. “When I was growing up, children went to church even if their parents didn’t go to church. Now, a lot of those children are not even going to church. So, when I meet a boy in Olympic Gardens and he tells me that he’s 15 years old and he’s a gunman, I can understand because he has no sense of value.” MM Updates: I am from the generation whose parents were practicing Christians and I went to Sunday School and Church. I would like to share my experience of how I was taught to develop resilience because of the influence of the Church on my upbringing and how it takes a village to raise a child. I was practicing for the Christmas Concert at the Townhead Baptist Church that my family attended. Mum said she did not have money to buy shoes, I stopped practicing. My teacher noticed I stopped practicing and asked why. She advised me to wash the crepe I was wearing, come to school barefoot, so I have the crepe to wear to Church for the Christmas Concert. The lack of value for life, he reasoned, must be addressed. MM Updates: I am proud of my upbringing in rural Jamaica, and I must share how my strict upbringing in a male dominated household help to make me the person who I am today. My history is to be found at the Townhead Baptist Church where my grandparents worshipped. My mother was christened, married, and baptised at the Church. As a child, I attended Sunday School, but I was teased by older girls, because I was different. I recalled my father stopped worshipping at the Church he was Baptised and Married and joined another church. I have a vivid memory of dad taking me on his bicycle to the Riverside on the morning of the Baptism, even when he no longer worships at mum’s Church. I often talk about dad greeting everyone he meets on his way to the riverside. I even joked that dad will even greet the dog if he sees one. I stopped going to Sunday School because I did not feel comfortable with the teasing. The fact that dad was worshipping at another Church led to the opening of doors to my empowerment. Dad started his own Sunday School and home, and we would go to his Church in Savanna-La-Mar on special occasion to perform. I recall walking home from Sav because we missed the bus. I passed Bible Knowledge with credit because of my father’s teaching. Despite the changes after my dad was stricken with Parkinson’s disease that changed my life, I bring my sons up to the same standard of Christian values and beliefs I was raised with.
“You look at our gunmen today, just walking up in crowds and shooting up people, or just doing whatever they want. They’ve lost all sense of value for life. Spend time and money on making sure that the children — those being born today and those in primary school today — learn the life skill of conflict resolution, respect and value so that as they grow, the country itself can be a better place,” Blair Jr said. MM Updates: I want to put a different twist on this from my personal perspectives and experiences that can cause children not to have a positive image of the Police and what they represent. When I was growing, I know the Police was there to protect me. One of my brothers served with the Jamaica Constabulary Force from 1976 the year when my first son was born. Here is incident that happened at my home, and I am glad my sons were too young to remember. The Police turned up at my house to carry out a search based on a malicious report my brother had guns. Because he was actively involved in Politics, the fact I was traumatised after my dad developed Parkinson’s disease left me feeling I was glad dad was not alive to witness such an indignity. For me the actions of the Police were not there to protect, but to intimidate with their long guns. My brother was not at home, and I wonder what would have happened. There was the murder of Linden aka Lloydie Legister, who was taken from his bed in his home from a mistaken identity. On 8 January 2018 I debated the murder of Charmaine Mahabeir on Facebook and was trolled. Last time I see the posts there were 3,706 views. I must say without reservations that I am holding Prime Minister Andrew Holness and the Jamaica Labour Party responsible for mismanaging the crime situation and not delivering the mandate especially they received in Westmoreland. But early pregnancy does not mean that all is lost, argued 31-year-old Petagay Pinnock, who became a mother at age 15. Today, she has five Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate (CSEC) subjects and is a scholarship recipient at University College of the Caribbean (UCC). MM Updates: I did not graduate from Secondary School, the first time I graduated was from Lambeth College where I studied 1997-199. I graduated with a Student of the Year Certificate and was advised to use my assignments for my first BOOK and attend university. “My advice to teen mothers is to go right back to school… don’t wait,” she said. MM Updates: I agree as I became a graduate for the first time in 1999 after enrolling at Lambeth College. Some of my tutors advised me to use my assignments for my first BOOK. I was in an abusive marriage and unable to go to university as advised. But I was headhunted out of Lambeth College for a job as a Room Leader at William Wilberforce, Lambeth Walk Day Nursery where I worked with a teenager Joelle Lax. “There are places that are free or come with a small cost. I know it’s hard and you might think there’s no way to get back on track, but I can tell you there’s always a way. You just have to be determined to succeed and you will. If I was as determined as I am now, I would have already achieved all I’m achieving now. So, take the step while you are young and be as driven, dedicated, and determined and all things will be possible,” she added. MM Updates: Age is no barriers to getting an education and I use my brother Byron as an example. He studied after leaving Frome School, but he made use of attending Kenilworth Youth Training Centre and other facilities. I paid to attend Lambeth College but was lucky at The Open University. I paid for my first course at the OU and was lucky to be sponsored by UNISON http://unison.org.uk for my Health & Social Care Level 2 Course. Otisa Wilmoth, past head girl of Green Pond High School, also got pregnant during high school. With six grade ones in grade 11, Wilmoth was the top CSEC performer at Green Pond in 2020. MM Updates: With 2 miscarriages of justice after bereavement and losses I had to start at the bottom of the career ladder after the death of my brother. It was difficult for me with my Chronic Anxiety the result of Childhood Traumas. I continued my empowerment despite the discrimination that impacted on my life. She hopes her success, despite her pregnancy, shows other young girls in a similar situation that it is not the end of the road. MM Updates: The treatment of my family leaves me devastated that they could treat me like this after the sacrifices I made to break the cycle of poverty that impacted on my family from the time my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease. “My words of advice are to never give up and they should believe in themselves and know that if they weren’t strong, they would not have been able to survive child-birth. It’s not the end of the road for them as there will always be trials and struggles, but we are mothers now and our children need us to pave the way for a better future for them,” she said. MM Updates: I survived more than childbirth, but after the death of my mother, whose story I heard from Valdin Legister’s grandmother Mrs Connie Jordine-Legister, I was privilege to be the surviving daughter of my parents. My experiences mirrors that of my mother and grandmothers. “Being a teenaged mom means that it’s not just you anymore; you have a young one looking up to you. They need to see that you are strong and that you are doing what’s right,” Wilmoth stated. MM Updates: The sacrifices I made for my sons cannot be measured but to have my family and friends joining in to make my life hell, will not stop me been the person whose mother did the same for her children and family. She added that many teen moms get pregnant a second time because their families turn their backs on them. “Don’t let that stop you. People will always leave when things aren’t in their interest or going their way anymore. Just know that a higher education is what’s going to prove to the world that we are survivors, and one wrong judgement in life can’t spoil our futures forever. We are going to continue to work hard and excel because we are not just living for ourselves, we are living for our child as well. I will never let anyone, or anything, stop me because my son is counting on me,” Wilmoth told the Sunday Observer. MM Updates: I was a graduate after studying with the OU 2004 – 2010. I graduated on the 2/5/2009 and my fiftieth (50) birthday was the 19/5/2009. My sons and family were beneficiaries of my hard work and the sacrifices to break the cycle of poverty. However, Principal Ankle believes that there is need for guidance for youngsters, especially young men. MM Updates: I grew up with one of my dad’s mantras “A man must find a place to lay his head before looking a place to put his… (penis, cock, prick, tone) or whatever other names the male reproductive sex organ is called in Jamaica. I mentioned this in my mum’s eulogy/remembrance, read by my son Valdin Legister and his wife. MM Updates: Now Dame Cressida Dick Commissioner of Metropolitan Police resigned her position, and it is in the news. Yet Google can remove my posts from Google My Business in continuation of the discrimination started by LEYF and condoned by HMCTS and CPS and CJS with Criminal Record needing Emotional Regulation Treatment. “I don’t know where the fathers are who can help these young men to understand that listen, what is between your legs is not something that you throw all over the place. It’s something that you manage under control. And I can’t say it any plainer. It makes no sense I pretty up this. Boys getting these girls pregnant… adults getting these girls pregnant… soldiers are getting these girls pregnant… all pastors get involved in it too. I have seen some cases… trust me, I can write a book,” Ankle said. MM Updates: I asked my son to put me in touch with Dr Ankle, but so far, no luck. I can shed some light on this.
Mother’s Day Today May 12th, 2013, is being celebrated as Mother’s Day around the world but not in the UK. So even thou I have been living in the UK for over 20 years I do what everyone else does and celebrate Mothering Sunday with the children I work with. However, I always celebrate officially around this time because my mother and the other women who played important roles in my life are living abroad. Even thou I told my children that there is a different time for Mother’s Day in the UK, they still salute as part of the custom at this time too. My mum is the most important person in my life and for me every day is Mother’s Day as far as I am concerned. This week is also being celebrated as Dementia Awareness Week, so I have decided to write about the debilitating condition that has mum in its grasp and from which there is no escape. I know for certain that she will only be released from her misery when the good Lord decided to answer our prayers and take her home to be with her loved ones. Coping along the way My mum has always known, cared for and be around family friends and acquaintances who needed special support because of illnesses all her life from she was very young. She lost children in infancy; helped to care for her dad, husband, mother; buried her brother, sons and numerous families but she was always able to bounce back. Now that the Lord has seen fit to strike her down with Dementia, this has become a trying time for her and the rest of the family. We know there is no way back and we must do our utmost best to support her the best we can until she is called home to rest from her toils. Now that I am older and wiser, I will no longer question the works of God as I did when my dad was stricken for over a decade with his illnesses. I have also come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to get rid of the DNA hence the genes I was born with and is trying to make my life as beneficial as is decently possible until the good Lord decided my time has come to be struck down with any one of my many ailments which I inherited from my parents. In the meantime, I am saving my energies to make mum’s life as comfortable as possible until the rest of her remaining days here on this earth. Sometimes I get burden down along the way and as I am only human lose my cool, but like my mum I refused to keep down and will fight for a better outcome. I have decided to find an outlet for my pent-up emotions and use my knowledge creatively by writing about life’s experiences. So, I hope this medium will put me on the road to redeeming myself and enable me to become more focused about the things that are most important to me. “They believe that they can go around and become sperm donors because it’s an image in our society. It’s an image that we need to get rid of. They just believe they can go around and have children and move to the next girl — and it’s something that I’ve been trying to get into the boys at Johnathan Grant. When you see me go on the way I went on, it’s because I live it. I experience it yearly,” he said. MM Updates: My upbringing helped me to provide a secure base for my sons. Startled by the data on pregnancy among adolescents, Reverend Stephen Smith, Baptist minister, and guidance counsellor at Calabar High School, called for swift justice, especially for underaged girls who are impregnated.
“These figures are quite staggering. In fact, they are alarming. It speaks to what is happening in our society and what needs to be done as it relates to those who are responsible for impregnating those who are underage, according to the law. We need, as a nation, to allow the law where these things are concerned to have teeth,” he said. MM Updates: I could have been a statistic because of lack of education with my first consensual sexual experience. Outside of that, he said: “The Church must continue to play its part through its teachings to help young people to understand that they should wait until they reach adulthood and have their careers clear before them, before they think of becoming parents.” MM Updates: My pregnancies were not planned, but I made the decisions to change my life.
MM Summary: I had given up hope my son Valdin Legister would settle down but was privilege to attend his wedding. It was during this time in Jamaica that I made some discoveries that was to break the cycle of mystery about my MOTHER. Therefore, LEYF and cohorts must be charged for the discrimination sanctioned by CEO June O’Sullivan on my return from Jamaica. My stories are in cyberspace. Miscarriages Of Justice Impacted On My Life: The fact that the Judiciary Of England And Wales, the Criminal Justice System and Crown Prosecution colluding to make me a criminal needing “Emotional Regulation Treatment” which is an entrapment to cover up the abuses in reviews online. I diagnosed my mother with dementia from my OU studies hearing of her behaviours. My journey with mum is similar to that I had with my father with Parkinson’s disease. My story is online so am not writing too much. Except saying after the death of my mother I became a target of haters. I experienced the second miscarriage of justice at the hands of HMCTS. I was pushed over the edge to be made a criminal needing ERT. After I was pushed over the edge to be having suicidal thoughts. I am lucky that my husband who will be 99 years old next month does not have dementia. Otherwise, we would be dead, has to be my carer. Because you didn’t agree, an ombudsman will review the complaint and make a decision. MM Arguments: Based on the 2 miscarriages I faced after bereavement and losses I should not have had to endure any more discrimination. The fact that Barclays set out to scam me a second time despite I begged the South London Press www.icsouthlondon.co.uk to publish my story in 2004. And the role played by the Financial Ombudsman Service at the time makes it important that I continue to use my https://fight4justiceadvocacy.business.site to share my story about the 29+ years of SYSTEMIC DISCRIMINATION I am facing because of my DISABILITIES covered under the Equality Act Protected Characteristics. That Emma Martin-Hamilton claim I have to go to the court with Barclays to get my money. Therefore, the decision by the FOS Inspector further breaches my rights under International Laws, Legislations, Codes of Conducts and Practices. The FOS must take into consideration the discrimination by the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Criminal Justice System and the Crown Prosecution Service in allowing Barclays to SCAM me and colluding with the FOS to cover up the crime by DEFAMATION of my NAME and CHARACTER in 2022.

Under new management, Barclays Plc reports on Wednesday as the banking sector appears as a cash machine for shareholders.
Nat West and HSBC have kept investors with their updates in recent days, both showing healthy financials and returns, across dividends and buybacks.
Significantly, it will be the first set of results on the watch of new chief executive CS “call me Venkat” Venkatakrishnan, who replaced Jes Staley in November.
“No doubt Barclays will be looking to put its (bad) habit of firing (or losing) chief executives behind it when it reports its 2021 results,” quipped the pundits at AJ Bell.
“Analysts are looking for a 2021 full-year pre-tax profit of £8.1 billion. That compares to 2020’s £3.1 billion and would outstrip the pre-financial crisis peak of £7.1 billion achieved in 2006.
“It also implies a profit for the fourth quarter alone of just under £1.2 billion, the lowest quarter of the year, although that is relatively normal for banks as they tend to clean up and clear out their books in the final three-month period. (Even then it represents a big step up on 2020’s fourth-quarter result of £646 million),” the investment firm added.
The performance of the investment bank – a division dear to the departed Staley’s heart – could come under scrutiny, as growth appears to be slowing.

Because of my Chronic Anxiety and the experience of Barclays defrauding me in 2004 and the impact on my Mental & Physical Health I always went into the bank to do transactions where I trust staff to help me. I got Online Banking when I was contacted by Barclays, and they assigned AMA 07471145083 to help me set up Online Banking and Home Contents Insurance over the phone.
Sending me Marketing information
Even after closing my account and causing me DISTRESS Barclays was sending me marketing materials and asking me to do surveys via email.
Threats by Barclays & Their Partners
I started getting threats via emails about outstanding balance for the Home Contents Insurance. I phoned up to explain my circumstances. It did not stop there, as the threats were directed to me via the telephone.

Not work since I resigned with 2nd Nervous Breakdown
Through no fault of my own I have not worked since the 27/9/2017 call me MAD if the FOS think so. But look at the date I was called by Richard Harty from the UEL and going into Barclays and my money was taken. Because a white teller and a brown teller identified my vulnerability and used a TRAINEE BLACK GIRL as SCAPEGOAT. I said as much in the bank when she lifted the shutter looking at me and asking questions when I was waiting for the Police. She has been COERSCED by those behind the shutter, keeping out of sight. The Black Teller was the only person to talk to me except when they tried bully, harass, and intimidate me to leave. Let Barclays produce the CCTV.
Husband TRAUMATISE
My husband has been TRAUMATISED by the whole affair. On the 26/1/2022 he lost £1,500.00 and before that they cut his bag and steal £1,000.00.

The Metropolitan Police failed me in 2017 when I was threatened and verbally abused by Winsome Duncan & Ryan Clement who groomed her. The Police said it was none of their business. On 30/10/2017 the Police turned up at my home to SECTION me from a malicious report. My stories can be verified online. On the 30/11/2020 the Police led by Holly Sweeney came to MURDER me under cover of the LEYF Margaret Horn Lecture. February 2021, I reported an assault by a BLACK man in Brixton. I was asked if I want the Police to come and talk to me. 2 Officers turn up using discriminatory narratives, I told them I was recording to safeguard myself. On 21/10/2021 I was called on my mobile when I was at Southwark Women’s Space. I went there to meet with Jillian McTaggart re Emotional Regulation Treatment linked to the Unlawful Criminal Record by HMCTS and CJS and CPS. PC Conway said he was told by the UEL I told them I was feeling SUICIDAL when they were forcing me off the campus on the 5/10/2021. When I got home my neighbour said she was concerned when she saw a male and female trying to force entry to my home. On 1/10/2021 I was locked in Barclays and the Police called to MURDER me. On 13/11/2021 I hear load noise and banging on my door. I called the Emergency Service that send the Police. Police came, walked past someone who smashed the glass and come to my flat to tell me it was not malicious I locked my NEIGHBOUR out. When I tried to talk to my neighbour she threatened me. The Police then accused me of shouting, threaten to leave and did. Don’t care what concerns I raised I am treated like a CRIMINAL by the Police and NHS Ambulance Services.

Yes Ms Reid, we can. Am busy taking back control of my life. My mother visited me on her birthday to remind me how she kept the family together. My husband is TRAUMATISED and if am not careful I will lose him and have to live with more regret I was so wrapped up in the Discrimination I failed him
Am flexible with my time. Am refocusing so I can do more for my husband and myself. He is TRAUMATISED. He went out on my mum’s birthday and lost the £1500.00 he withdrew from the bank. So now I will have to go with him when he goes to withdraw money. He is taking it well and I am more determined to pull myself together for him.
My Book is online. Am working on publishing one for my husband’s 99th birthday in March. Others will follow.

Don’t worry, I am not down for long. I cooked, my husband eat and I did later.
I am concerned hearing my husband talking about when he is gone, I can take money and go buy house in Jamaica. Reminds me of waiting for my father to die. I hate he has to be thinking that way.
I am looking at the way I structure the Books, I update. I phone up other Publishers and have 2 positive responses.
It’s this pain in my heart I can’t bear. I look at some of my writing about my angst with God from my Father was stricken with Parkinson’s. I can’t take much more and my husband don’t understand how the crying helps me.
Can’t wait for tomorrow. So much happened since Friday, am positive I can compile a BOOK from your home work. Done a 5 minute with a 40+ year old lady and just discover she is a Public Figure. Am downloading the videos.

Today May 12th 2013 is being celebrated as Mother’s Day around the world but not in the UK. So even thou I have been living in the UK for over 20 years I do what everyone else does and celebrate Mothering Sunday with the children I work with. However I always celebrate officially around this time because my mother and the other women who played important roles in my life are living abroad. Even thou I told my children that there is a different time for Mother’s Day in the UK, they still salute as part of the custom at this time too. My mum is the most important person in my life and for me every day is Mother’s Day as far as I am concerned. This week is also being celebrated as Dementia Awareness Week so I have decided to write about the debilitating condition that has mum in its grasp and from which there is no escape. I know for certain that she will only be released from her misery when the good Lord decided to answer our prayers and take her home to be with her loved ones.
My mum has always known, cared for and be around family friends and acquaintances who needed special support because of illnesses all of her life from she was very young. She lost children in infancy; helped to care for her dad, husband, mother; buried her brother, sons and numerous family but she was always able to bounce back. Now that the Lord has seen fit to strike her down with Dementia, this has become a trying time for her and the rest of the family. We know there is no way back and we have to do our utmost best to support her the best we can until she is called home to rest from her toils. Now that I am older and wiser I will no longer question the works of God as I did when my dad was stricken for over a decade with his illnesses. I have also come to terms with the fact that I will not be able to get rid of the DNA hence the genes I was born with and is trying to make my life as beneficial as is decently possible until the good Lord decided my time has come to be struck down with any one of my many ailments which I inherited from my parents. In the meantime I am saving my energies to make mum’s life as comfortable as possible until the rest of her remaining days here on this earth? Sometimes I get burden down along the way and as I am only human lose my cool, but like my mum I refused to keep down and will fight for a better outcome. I have decided to find an outlet for my pent up emotions and use my knowledge creatively by writing about life’s experiences. So I hope this medium will put me on the road to redeeming myself and enable me to become more focused about the things that are most important to me. As of today I hope I can become a better person towards everyone who crosses my paths and my children will be proud of me as a MOTHER the same way I am proud of the Mother who made me into the person I am today?
When I was born over ½ of a century ago my mum and gran were the 2 most dominant females in my life as I was blessed with only brothers, so I was always surrounded by males. This continued to be the norm as I was blessed with 2 younger siblings who turned out to be boys, and not the longed for sister I had wanted all my life. However I was later compensated for my lack of female siblings by the kind of long lasting relationships I forged along life’s journeys. These relationships have led to my having so many role models, some older, my age and even younger in a support network that span the different communities in which I am privileged to have lived. Because of growing up in a household of mostly males it is no surprise that I grew up to be a typical Tom Boy until I hit puberty when mum tried to put a stop to my Tom foolery ways without an explanation. However after much reflections I can understand mum’s rationale for trying to rope in the stubborn child whom I had become? I must confess that over the years I have morphed so much into my mum and granny that it is very much uncanny. I keep reminding myself at times…, but that’s exactly what mum and gran would do in the same circumstances. Reminds me of some of the sayings like chip doan fly fur from block, kettle a cuss pot black, pig did ask sow wat mek your mouth long suh and sow sey bambye you will see…

“No doubt Barclays will be looking to put its (bad) habit of firing (or losing) chief executives behind it when it reports its 2021 results,” quipped the pundits at AJ Bell.
“Analysts are looking for a 2021 full-year pre-tax profit of £8.1 billion. That compares to 2020’s £3.1 billion and would outstrip the pre-financial crisis peak of £7.1 billion achieved in 2006.
“It also implies a profit for the fourth quarter alone of just under £1.2 billion, the lowest quarter of the year, although that is relatively normal for banks as they tend to clean up and clear out their books in the final three-month period. (Even then it represents a big step up on 2020’s fourth-quarter result of £646 million),” the investment firm added.
The performance of the investment bank – a division dear to the departed Staley’s heart – could come under scrutiny, as growth appears to be slowing.
