Our customer experience survey is coming soon

Weโ€™re carrying out an online survey to help shape our customer experience strategy. Find out how you can take part.

From 3 March 2025 weโ€™ll be sending out emails with a link to our customer experience survey. If you receive one, we would be grateful if you take part and complete the survey.

The survey is an opportunity for you, as a local resident, to tell us in complete confidence what it has been like for you to access council services.

This will inform our new strategy and make sure that:

  • our residentsโ€™ concerns around customer experience are addressed
  • no resident feels excluded from accessing council servicesย

We are working with Thinks Strategy and Insight, an independent research agency to carry out the survey. It will be hosted by Teamsearch.

None of your identifying details will be passed on to Southwark Council officers or any other organisation unless you say that you want to be contacted in the future.

Other ways to have your say

Your feedback is key to making improvements in the borough. We have a number of consultations and surveys running now. You can take part in them through our consultation hub.

How do I access an online course via Zoom or Teams?

Most training courses are now delivered online and you must sign up to a session in order to receive a link to the training. The link is created and emailed to learners in advance via the training provider (for external courses). For internal training, the link may come from the trainer or the Learning and Development Team. We recommend not using the Citrix environment for online courses. You can test your Teams access here. The โ€œWaiting for others to joinโ€ฆโ€ screen indicates that a real call would work normally.

Can I cancel a course?

Yes. You can do this by:

1.     Logging on to My Learning Source

2.     Clicking on โ€œMy Learningโ€ and on โ€œRecord of Learningโ€ (or searching for the course title)

3.     Clicking on the course you want to cancel

4.     Selecting โ€œCancel bookingโ€ next to the date you signed up to

Course cancellations must be done by the learner. Please note that if you cancel less than 7 days before the learning takes place or fail to attend, you will be charged a penalty fee, even if the course is free.

Can I book a training room in Tooley Street on the Ground Floor?

The Learning and Development team manage bookings for the training rooms on the Ground Floor of Tooley Street (GO1A, GO1B, GO1C, GO6 and G11).

In certain circumstances, you can book one of our rooms:

ยท       For after 17.00 โ€“ this may require a risk assessment

ยท       Within the next two weeks and providing no other training is planned by the L&D Team at that time

ยท       For internal training and providing no other training is planned by the L&D Team at that time

Before you contact us, you will need to check the room availability on Resource Scheduler and then email learning@southwark.gov.uk with the following information:

ยท       Name that the booking is to be made under (someone who will be the contact point)

ยท       Date and times

ยท       Reservation Title and type of meeting

ยท       Number of attendees and whether any of them are external

ยท       Set up style

Why canโ€™t I fill an evaluation form?

Courses are set up so that you must complete the training to access the evaluation form. If you have attended a session, your completion status will be updated once the trainer has updated the attendance list. If you have completed an e-learning module, make sure that all sections have been done and there is a tick alongside its name on the course page.

Mervelee Myers will publish a series of Ebooks of my writing from when I joined social media in the summer of 2009 after returning from visiting Jamaica. 2009 is the year when I turned 50 years old and became a graduate, I want the world to be aware of my journey with challenging systemic discrimination after experiencing bereavement and losses. I had my first nervous breakdown after the death of my brother aged 56 years old with colon cancer, working at Kings College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. The fact that my 101-year-old husband was taken to Kings College Hospital after my stepson assaulted me on the 9th of March 2024 a day when the family gathered to celebrate his birthday at my home must be highlighted. I made “Reasonable Adjustments” to my house so my husband could come home for his “Palliative Care” because his son changed the locks on the doors to stop him from returning home to die.

The “Quality Care Commission” is not “Fit For Purpose” and therefore, Mervelee Myers must share “The Experience Of Multiple Discrimination” of Dr. Maria Hudson’s research paper for the Policy Studies Institute recommended to ACAS. It is time the world wakes up to why there is an uprising by white people in the UK in 2024. Because on the eve of “Mothering Sunday 2015, I wrote to http://www.leyf.org.uk senior HR Dilys Epton I was DEPRESSED and slowly dying of torture. When the CEO June O’Sullivan MBE sanctions the discrimination that labels me UURICA-LE. On 30th November 2020, I was beaten inside my house when Holly Sweeny led her colleagues to murder me under cover of LEYF Margaret Horn Lecture to say I committed SUICIDE. I was made a CRIMINAL needing Emotional Regulation Treatment when the solicitors took “Legal Aid” to convict me.

On 27th September 2021 Richard Harty called my mobile and the conversation was recorded on YouTube. This was one of the 3 incidents that happened on that date to trigger me. I was robbed of the money I took in to pay my daughter-in-law’s “University Fees”. I did not receive the “Medical Report” from the GP Surgery. I was harassed, bullied, and intimidated by Barclays when I returned to resolve the matter. I was locked in the bank for over an hour waiting for the Police to show up. In the meantime, Barclays was closing my account. I was kicked out of the University of East London by Richard Harty despite being assigned a “Mental Health Practitioner.

My stories are documented despite social media harvesting my intellectual property, copyrights, images, and CPPDP. My website http://www.myvision.org.uk was stolen by Guy Lawful and Mark Upton in 2022. But the biggest shock is those involved in the hate crimes after Deborah Agnes Gilchrist broke the glass to the “Communal Door” on the 13th of December 2021. By “Christmas Eve” 2022 I had to barricade myself inside, my brother who was on the mobile with me from the USA for over an hour before the Police arrived was refusing to give me a reference. He has since declared me MAD and turned families and friends against me.

I will end by saying those responsible must not get away with threats of IMPRISONMENT and EVICTION because my stories are online. I will use the available resources to share why “EARLY INTERVENTION IS KEY TO SURVIVAL”. So no other 17-year-old schoolboy does not target little girls with a weapon. I was the EYFS coordinator, SENCO and Multigenerational Working Approach Facilitator at LEYF when I did the “A Voice of a Child” project for June O’Sullivan in 2010. Only to realize Richard Harty panicked and kicked me out of the UEL because of his Men In Childcare bloggers who are June O’Sullivan’s Drag Queen Storytellers.

I am a storyteller who will be sharing the HMCTS miscarriages of justice and the roles of the “Legal System” in criminalizing women who dare to challenge discrimination put children, young people and vulnerable adults at risk of safeguarding.

In some instances, this is because the behavior violates the X Rules. Other times, it may be in response to a valid legal request from an authorized entity in a given country. Below are some of the enforcement actions that we may take.

Post-level enforcement

We take action at the post level when a specific post violates the X Rules, including posts that share or reproduce other posts by posting screenshots, quote-posting, or sharing post URLs that violate our Rules.

A few of the ways in which we might take action at the post level include:

Limiting post visibility: Where appropriate, we will restrict the reach of posts that violate our policies and create a negative experience for other users by making the post less  discoverable on X. This can include:

  • Excluding the post from search results, trends, and recommended notifications
  • Removing the post from the For you and Following timelines
  • Restricting the postโ€™s discoverability to the authorโ€™s profile
  • Downranking the post in replies
  • Restricting Likes, replies, Reposts, Quote posts, bookmarks, share, pin to profile, or Edit post

Excluding the post from having ads adjacent to it: Starting in April 2023, posts identified as violating our Rules will begin to receive labels informing both post authors and viewers that we limited the postโ€™s visibility.

Authors will be able to submit an appeal on the label if they think we incorrectly limited their postโ€™s visibility.

Requiring post removal:  When we determine that a post violated the X Rules and the violation is severe enough to warrant post removal, we will require the violator to remove it before they can post again. They will need to go through the process of removing the violating post or appealing our removal request if they believe we made an error. The post will be hidden from public view with a notice during this process.

Labeling a post: If we determine a post contains misleading or disputed information per our policies that could potentially lead to harm, we may add a label to the content to provide context and additional information to users. In these cases, Community Notes may also be visible on posts to provide additional context.

Notice of public interest exception: We may determine that it is in the public interest for a post that would otherwise be in violation of our rules to remain accessible on our service. When this occurs, we will place the post behind a notice and limit its visibility. Learn more about the public interest exception.

Direct Message-level enforcement

Stopping conversations between a reported violator and the reporterโ€™s account: In a private Direct Message conversation, when a participant reports the other account, we will stop the violator from sending messages to the account who reported them. The conversation will also be removed from the reporter’s inbox. However, if the reporter decides to continue to send Direct Messages to the violator, the conversation will resume.

Placing a Direct Message behind a notice: In a group Direct Message conversation, the violating Direct Message may be placed behind a notice to ensure no one else in the group can see it again.

Account-level enforcement

We take action to suspend an account if we determine that a user has engaged in repeated violations of our policies and/or violated specific policies that cause significant risk to X (i.e. posting illegal content, attempts to manipulate our platform or spam users, using our platform to incite violence, etc.) or pose a threat to our users (fraud, user privacy violations, violent threats, targeted harassment, etc.).

Placing an account in read-only mode: We may temporarily limit an accountโ€™s ability to post, Repost, or Like. The user can read their timelines and will only be able to send Direct Messages to their followers.

Verifying account ownership: We may require an account owner to verify ownership with a phone number or email address. Note that when an account has been locked pending completion of a challenge (such as being required to provide a phone number), it is removed from follower counts, Reposts, and Likes.

Users can appeal account suspensions if they believe we made an error. They can do this through the platform interface or by filing a report.

Actions we may take against non-violating content

Placing a post behind a notice: We may place some forms of sensitive media like adult content or graphic violence behind an interstitial advising viewers to be aware that they will see sensitive media if they click through. Learn more about how to control whether you see sensitive media.

Withholding a post based on age: We restrict views of specific forms of sensitive media such as adult content for viewers who are under 18 or viewers who do not include a birth date on their profile with interstitials

Withholding a post or account in a country: We may withhold access to certain content in a particular country if we receive a valid and properly scoped request from an authorized entity in that country. Read more about country withheld content.

How do I change my manager on my profile?

Refer to the table below to find the right solution for your type of account:
