| The Parkinson Hi Mervelee, With World Parkinson’s Day just around the corner on 11 April, I’m delighted to be bringing you a round-up of the best stories from The Parkinson magazine. This time we meet Mags, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s 10 years ago. She was adamant that the condition wouldn’t stop her doing the sports she loves – and a decade later, that quiet determination remains. We also share the letter Annie has written to her newly-diagnosed self, and shine a spotlight on CBD. Going the distance Mags was at the start of a new chapter of her life when she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. Passionate about physical activity, she was determined her diagnosis wouldn’t slow her down. A decade on, she’s still crossing finishing lines and proving herself right. Last year, our incredible team made every step count and together raised over £1.1 million pounds to create a better future for everybody living with diabetes. They helped to fund more life-changing research into new treatments and one day, a cure. And, this year we’re confident our amazing team of steppers will go even further. Steps are for every body, and everybody so from 1 July join us again to take steps for your body, and for everybody affected by diabetes. One million of them, over three months, which is around 10,000 steps a day. Earn rewards We have lots of fantastic fundraising rewards to say thank you for your support too. From medals to t-shirts we have rewards you can earn at every fundraising level. Thanks for going beyond the call of your professional duties to get me on the right pathways to accomplishing my purposes.
I am of the old saying strike the iron whilst it’s hot. I have browsed through past “Black Business Guide” and am positive this is the route I need to take to get myself doing the things am PASSIONATE about. The RESILIENCE I was taught from I was a little girl confused about why I was different, served me well. My brother is here visiting and I will try contact my “Primary School Teacher” to see if she will agree for me to do a story with her contributions. As for being STRONG my book “In Honour of STRONG Women Everywhere” says it all.
Without further ado, I am giving you permission to prepare the advertisement and send me whatever documentations needed to make them binding by GDPR standards.
In addition I am getting 100,000 + 90,000 views on my Google Maps. I intend to track down Mervelee Myers online in whatever capacity I contributed to British Values as a “Cultural Ambassador, Social Butterfly and Mental Health & SEND Advocate turn Activist”.
