Have to come to FB to share my thoughts since I have being given a very Cold Reception on another SM site. Don’t get me wrong I know everyone have a business to run & U have to abide by rules & regulations, but when an Idiot like Me makes a genuine mistake, I think that should be taken into consideration. Then again I might have to think a different way and believe I was too slow in taking up their offer to up-grade? But U know what I am not 4 running myself into DEBTS to keep up with the JONSES! So when I cleared my debts I may just decide not to upgrade and find another outlet for my views?

The questioned posed was “How Tolerant is Society About Children and Family With Diverse and Complex Needs?” The response from the High & Mighty was it is inappropriate and the moderator will remove it…! Well suffice it to say that this is just an indication of how Intolerant we are as a society. Some of us are only capable of paying lip service via the rhetoric of the moment whilst hiding behind bureaucratic red tape. Because of personal experiences I have taken on the mantle of ADVOCATE for the downtrodden in society who have to put up with Social Injustices & Inequalities that are harmful to our wellbeing.

We do share thoughts about every day occurrences and my colleague shared an incident that occurred on her travels which made her very livid. The language being used by 2 guys were disgusting & RACIST… She wanted to intervene because as a Mother of teenagers she had similar experiences, but was concerned for her safety. This time the perpetrators were well dressed white males who one would expect to behave differently. When we see others out in public we can’t tell by looking about there heritage, so therefore we should not make judgements about their identity!

With that thought in mind I got the bus home instead of walking as I got me a bargain in Tesco on Soap Powder. Got to the bus stop at Tottenham Court Rd & the #25 bus came & a Mother is trying to get on board with her buggy. Imagine my disbelief when the driver refused to let her on after much pleading & shut the door in her face. I’d looked in the bus & there was only 1 other buggy, so I did not understand why the Mother was refused entry? Went over to asks the reasons for her to be left behind & she said the driver said there was no space. The Mother said he was probably drugged up or drunk & she should have got his #! I felt really bad for the tiny wee Baby when it started Screaming out in the Cold. What really made my blood even boiled more is the fact that it was a young black man who is the driver

Then I started thinking about why the other Mother had to buy such a big buggy when she is relying on public transport? Those size of buggy should only be used by persons who have their own private vehicles. So that they don’t inconvenience the other users of public transport!

It don’t take lots to get my back up! And if I have being INTOLERANT of any of my FAMILY, Friends & Acquaintances lately please accept my sincerest APOLOGY! Sometimes the cares of the world do get to ME & as the saying goes “ME a tek di beam out a mi eyes fus b4 me try tek di moat outa fi sumady else…?” Maybe its time 4 US all to start doing the TOLERANCE Test to try make this a better Society for All?
