Mervelee Myers Is The Victim Of Discrimination In The UK https://mervelee.wordpress.com/2020/06/18/mervelee-was-ordained-by-god-for-a-purpose-in-breaking-the-barriers-of-discrimination/
My name is Mervelee Myers and am a victim of discrimination on all grounds from arriving in the UK in 1992. As a writer, who has been writing to deal with the uncertainties of life from the time my father was stricken with Parkinson’s disease, I have to be factual about my experiences (www.parkinsons.org.uk). The fact that I was raised in a family that have dealt with adversities, I learned from an early age to be self-reliant. Writing became my Comfort Blanket away from the cares of the world. My life is an Open Book as I want others to benefit from my stories.
Domestic Violence 1992-2000 For want of a better life experience and brighter future for myself and family. I experience Verbal and Physical Abuse and I vow to change the outcome of a life of poverty. Brought on because of my DNA and Ethnicity Make Up. As I always describe myself as having Multiple Identities. I escaped with my life from Domestic Violence and was in the Refuge for a short time. I made a vow that anywhere else I live, I have to be the owner of the keys to the front door.
Racism Am a victim of Racism for wanting to bring about the changes. The change to make a difference to my circumstances and others who were affected. To achieving my potentials that were put on hold because of my Hidden Disabilities. And not accepting DISCRIMINATION on any GROUNDS.
Disability I am a victim of Disability Discrimination. When allegations used by employers to trigger my Hidden Disabilities, into Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), after bereavement and loss. This happened after the death of my brother and I self-referred to Occupational Health. Because I could not understand why I was been accused of acting in ways that were alien to me. I was passed fit for work, but once you challenge INSTITUTIONAL DISCRIMINATION. You set a cycle in motion that would affect the outcome of your life until your death. Although I was passed fit for work, this to be the downward spiral into Mental Health Conditions that was to affect me for the rest of my life.
