Yesterday I chaired the first meeting of the Serious Violence Ministerial Taskforce.
I am determined to reverse the tragic increase we are seeing in violent crime. By working together at every level of government, we will tackle this issue.

For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Alzheimer’s Research UK. I’ve chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal. I am opting to raise money for charities to help with research that can educate us to how best we can provide that support network. I have been sharing stories of my experiences, in the hope that I can reach out to others who might be going through what I went through as a child. With knowledge come empowerment. It was a privilege to spend the week working at Queens Park (LEYF) nursery. Had the time to unwind, meet up with an old Acquaintance, established new bonds with Colleagues in the business: Andrea McKenzie, Jenny Toorie, Marielena & the other Team Members. Time to go back to Luton Street to take care of the business of writing Exit Transition Reports for schools & LR & Cards for those going to other countries. I have taken note of some Excellent & Outstanding Quality Practices that I hope to Promote & Implement at LS!
