To Whom It May Concern

Contents for this letter was taken from GDPR – How to be ready and 20 GDPR myths debunked Toni Vitale, Head of Regulation, Data & Information, Winckworth Sherwood. TONI VITALI tvitale@wslaw.co.uk. SOLICITORS AND PARLIAMENTARY AGENTS Minerva House, 5 Montague Close, London SE1 9BB WWW.WSLAW.CO.UK.

I am writing to #log my concerns about a call I got on my mobile phone from someone claiming to be #SuzetteAlexis from Housing for Women. I was called on 07483017227 in the afternoon by this person saying she is looking for Mervelee Myers. Upon asking who was calling she begins to #identifyherself. So I told her I had received the letter.
She proceeded to ask me about the #complaint I had sent in, claiming her manager did not share the letter with her. But I must go ahead and tell her about it. I responded that it’s best for her manager to share the letter with her, then she could ask me to #clarify anything she did not understand. To my surprise and utter shock, the person said to me “That’s not how we do it”. I firmly said to her “In the circumstances, I will suggest you go back to your manager, get the letter, read it and get back to me”. I did not stop to #argue as I would normally have done. So I have no idea who we is/are?

My Concerns
Although I received the letter I only #glance at it, but I have since gone on to read it. I have no way of knowing if the person who called me #claiming to be from Housing for Women is who she said she is. On the 18 June 2019, after an arranged meeting with Inspector Owen Pyle Owen.Pyle@met.police.uk and Tammie.Lawrance-Blake@met.police.uk and kev.B.Webster@met.police.uk at the Southwark Police Station. I came away with my #traumas #triggered into PTSD after I was #verbally and #physically  abused by two of the Officers.

Looking at the letter, I cannot see the mobile phone number listed. I have been getting #coldcallers and worse. The reason why the Police and I are at loggerheads is the fact they failed to act on my concerns. But turned up to section me after a malicious call out from Winsome Duncan: Author, Artist & Book Confidence Coach who #wormed their way into my home to exploit me. This person www.peachespublications.co.uk is still #operating at large from her address in London Borough of Southwark. This is Ms. Winsome Duncan, 17 Avondale Square, London SE1 5NY left to exploit #vulnerableadults. Her #groomer https://www.ryanclement.com scammed my husband of £9000.00 to prepare my EAT.

If your manager didn’t think to give you the letter and have a #briefing with you about it. Why are you calling me to go ahead and tell you what happened? My experiences at https://www.gov.uk/…/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-founda… left me a #victim. But Housing for Women is #responsible for contacting my former employers LEYF Nurseries  www.leyf.org.uk about an email sent to them in #error.
This incident happened a while back, so how was I telling the person about it over a mobile phone going to get her to understand what my concerns are? I am #weary about matters that can #impact on my life since LEYF #tampered  with my #data and changed my #address to suit their agenda. After using www.ico.org.uk Subject Access Request, LEYF claims not to have any data for me.

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 2018)
What plans does Housing for Women have in place with regards to the implementation of the GDPR?

GDPR Action Plan
Raise awareness within the organization and amongst key stakeholders about the GDPR

Data mapping – What personal data is processed? Why such data is processed? Where it is located?

Review consents and if necessary refresh them

Understand the legal basis for processing the different types of personal data

Communicate privacy information (e.g. updated privacy policy and fair processing notice)

If you are part of an International Organisation, consider which jurisdiction you fall under in terms of data protection.

Data subject rights: How will you respond to the new rights e.g. the right to be forgotten? Plan how to respond to and process subject access requests

Appoint a data protection officer if relevant
Given the new time frames for breach response, put in place a data breach reporting plan and response plan/team

Adopt a privacy by design approach and conduct a Data Protection Impact Assessment

Consent & new rights
Obtaining consent for processing personal data must be clear, and must seek an affirmative response. This was not the case when the person called on Wednesday claiming to be from Housing for Women.

Data subjects have the rights to be forgotten and erased from records. I find that I am been erased from records without my consent from LEYF decided to target me to destroy my life. How much did Housing for Women contribute to this by sending information to them about the email they got in error?

Parental consent is required for the processing of personal data of children under age 16.

Users may request a copy of personal data in a portable format. So I wrote a letter to Housing for Women months ago about my concerns. Someone claiming to be a Neighbourhood Officer called me up to tell her about what happened over a mobile phone. How was she intending to #capture and #store the information?

Eight rights of data subjects

To be informed
To access data
To rectify mistakes
To have data erased
To restrict processing
To make data portable
To object
To object to automated decision-making

Without prejudice, let me state that I felt that I have been put at a disadvantage since I was forced out of my job and the treatment I get from Housing for Women. If in doubt, please go back to look at the concerns I have been raising. For example when the covering on the electrics falls down, nearly hitting my husband on the head.

I actually averted a Grenfell Tower happening when I opposed the Gas Pipes going from mine and my neighbour’s Tess flat #upstairs. Don’t get me started about what my #rights are when it comes to #safeguarding.

As per usual I would appreciate if the matter can be #resolved without causing me further #stress.

Kindest regards

Mrs Mervelee Myers.
Carer.
