MM recommends the Design Print Shop for a variety of reasons from the first day I ventured inside when I was going through another difficult stage of my transition after the discrimination by my former employers and the systemic discrimination by the Judiciary of England and Wales, the Crown Prosecution Service and the Criminal Justice System.

I will use every platform to share my stories. Because the DPS became a refuge for me when I had no one to talk to. I was privileged to meet David’s parents and the dog.

David’s unstinting advice and just sparing the time to listen when I just needed someone to guide me paid dividends.

I was privileged to meet Linda who worked on the Mural in the Blue. This resulted in introductions and signposting. I am the beneficiary of my visit to the DPS and if you are in the area, please pop in. I went to the shop today to collect my Business Cards and have a chat with David. I was smitten when David told me he was up late designing the photo frame in the shop to honour the Queen. And already I visualize the frame for my husband’s 100th birthday on International Women’s Day 2023. I discovered the shop during my transition after the systemic discrimination leaving me to deal with the deterioration in my mental and physical health. I must credit David for being the sensitive individual he is. His parents must be credited for raising such a son who can bridge the generation divide and reach out to the people of multicultural Britain. Yesterday I hear him communicating with a Ghanaian man in his “Mother Tongue” and I was impressed. I meet David’s parents and the dog. Dad helped me to choose the photo for my banner of the Empire Windrush. I must mention meeting Linda who worked on the Mural at the Blue at the shop. This meeting opened doors for me. I must commend David for the support he has given to a lonely woman in despair who walked into his business and how his compassion has helped me to be getting back my mojo to be the person I know I was before hate crimes rob me of my sparks.
