Your DBS Certificate

When your DBS check is completed, the DBS will post a hard-copy DBS certificate to you, to the current address you entered on your online DBS application form.

Your hard-copy DBS certificate is proof of your DBS check.  It is an important document.  Please store it in a safe and secure place.

Note:  If you do not receive your hard-copy DBS certificate within 15 days after Stage 5 “Certificate Printed” you can request a reprint of your DBS certificate by:

– Email:  you can complete the https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/dbs-certificate-reprint-guide
– Telephone:  you can call the DBS on 03000 200 190 (Choose option 2 and then option 1 to speak to a DBS Advisor)

It is important to note that we do not have access to your DBS certificate and unfortunately we cannot obtain copies for you.  If you do not receive it, you must contact the DBS within 3 months of the issue date.  They will not issue re-prints after this time-frame.  This is DBS policy and it is out of our control
