After my blood test, I was sent communication about the High Cholesterol via messages to confirm whether I would like to take medication https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 for more. I waited hoping I would have been contacted, but the GP Surgery failed to do so. When I decided to phone up, no one answered the phone. I tried another, got through and sorted out both outstanding matters.
I was called last Friday to go collect the medication at the Pharmacy in the afternoon. I arrived at the Pharmacy to be informed I am the 4th patient whose prescription was not sent. Since it was Friday and the Pharmacy did not open on Saturdays, I was still without medication. There is so much going on that I was unable to go back before today to collect the medication. So imagine my shock when after submitting my information, I was told that the prescription was not sent.
I was advised to call or visit the Surgery and don’t leave until I got the results. I went next door to the Artesian and was advised that the prescription will be ordered in 2 days for Friday. Considering the Weekend is Bank Holiday, will I have to wait for another week or month to get the prescription?
Since this is not the first or even second time I have to raise concerns about Nexus Group. I will make my responsibility as a Health Ambassador speak as an advocate that I will not tolerate this SHODY behaviour from Nexus Group where my health is concerned.
For there to be no shadow of a doubt about my ADVOCACY, I will be making this PUBLIC.
Let me hope I will get my medication by Friday and not have to wait until after the Bank Holidays.
