University of The West Indies student creates history
University of The West Indies student Veralton Nembhard aka Andrew created history recently when he became the youngest man ever to referee a DaCosta Cup Final when he took charge of the game between St. Elizabeth Technical High and Glenmuir High at just 23 years and 336 days.
The Psychology major who still enjoys playing the game, got his influence from his father Texchus Nembhard www.ancestrydna.co.uk who himself was a referee for 30 years.

Training to become a referee began very early in his life, with private early morning Saturday sessions with his dad who put him through the paces and prepared him for what he should expect when out in the middle. MM Updates: Refer to http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/westernnews/Nembhard-edges-Bucknor-in-St-James…

Nembhard’s career as a referee began in 2006 when he was still a student in high school and he took charge of the under 14 final in 2007 followed by the under 16 final in 2008.
‘Vee’ as he is affectionately called by his friends represented Cornwall College from 2005-2007 under the guidance of the legendary Dr. Dean Weatherly before he went to UWI where he played for Taylor Hall, his hall of residence. He took a break from refereeing games as he adjusted to university life and focused on his studies.

With his university studies almost complete ‘Vee’ has returned his focus to refereeing again and when Yardie Sports asked if that meant the end of his playing career he said, “I still want to play, but my heart is set on reaching the FIFA level.”
The DaCosta Cup final which went to extra time was won by Glenmuir High by 1-0 and for the 110 minutes of playing time there were no controversial moments to be spoken of with regards to officiating.

Anthony ‘Follies’ Williams, coach of Rusea’s High, who worked as a commentator on a local television station for the final, mentioned during the game, how good a job was being done by the ref as they had had no reason to mention him throughout the broadcast.

When asked about how he felt before the final Nembhard said, ” I felt very nervous, I knew everybody was watching, so if I made a mistake I would be heavily scrutinized.
“I felt great because a coach isn’t one to compliment officials performances. As a matter of fact most coaches usually don’t compliment officials,” was his response to hearing that “Follies” had given him a good grade for the job he did during the final.

Nembhard has a younger brother who is also a referee and his father, whose career was limited by a serious knee injury, is now a member of the Jamaica Football Federation referee’s committee.
Based on the season he has had in the middle and especially his handling of the high pressure DaCosta Cup final, the ultimate dream of becoming a FIFA referee is definitely on the cards for Veralton Nembhard.

MM Updates: I was advised at https://www.lambethcollege.ac.uk I could use my assignments for my  first BOOK. I think it’s time I do something about it. Otherwise instead of the Western Mirror crgoates@yahoo.com article VALDIN LEGISTER AIMS TO MAKE FIFA REFEREE LIST would be meaningless to me after the second miscarriages of justice by https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation.2300047-2016. I supplied data to http://worldreferee.com/referee/valdin-legister/bio when he was unknown. On reflections when this http://www.jamaicaobserver.com/westernnews/Costly-decision-for-Ledgister was sent to me the person was most likely rejoicing.

Reasons I have issues with www.jamaicalabourparty.com about how http://jamaica-star.com/article/20161128/jlp-breaks-pnps-dominance-westmoreland. Because January 8, 2018 was when I wrote about CHARMAINE MAHABEIR and 10 March https://youtu.be/kJcomeREU2Q was in Westmoreland. Go do the research about my publications at www.adwords.google.com for http://www.myvision.org.uk and G+. The way CYBER BULLIES at https://www.facebook.com and https://www.linkedin.com and https://www.twitter.com and https://www.google.com and https://www.wordpress.com you would not believe my contributions about subjects from cradle to grave.

I can write the story about my BROTHERS both dead after what www.leyf.org.uk done to me.

If we allow them to get away with RACISM, then the Equality Act is not worth any of the #ProtectedCharacteristics. Even animals are better protected than #BAME. I am writing a Review about the https://www.gov.uk/employment-tribunal-decisions/ms-m-myers-v-london-early-years-foundation-2300047-2016 as the world must be informed about discrimination of  MERVELEE MYERS.
