Celebrating With My Son Kevin Murray

I was on Flickr working with LEYF Nurseries from 1st September 2009… I got published and have been attending the Nurseryworld Exhibition, London Design Centre before I worked for LEYF. I used to attend the SEND Exhibition, London Design Centre before I worked for LEYF.

I already have my invitation for Childcare Expo. Represented LEYF at Mark Allen Publishing. Was on SkyNews on the 5th September 2012. Not to mention Facebook for Windows since February 2010? Why should I allow the establishments and systems from the Department for Work and Pensions – Department for Work and Pensions – DWP, the HMCTS, the Metropolitan Police Service Police Service and others to destroy the 26 years of my life I created in the UK from June 1992 – 28/11/18? I will start off giving God the praises for waking me up this morning in a good frame of mind and is therefore  feeling #positive about my future.

But going to Facebook where I was recording my thoughts left me feeling #embittered. I felt as if all the hard work I had put into getting where I am in moving on with my life was #scuppered when Facebook seems to hide my post and I could not get access. Instead of getting in a #strop like I used to, I let Facebook know that I am on to their game of #exploitations that was started on the #18thSeptember2015, to my knowledge. I am therefore refusing to allow anyone or anything to manipulates me ever again. But even more importantly using my CPPDP to #harvest my intellectual properties for their own gains. And in the end, using my vulnerabilities of having #disabilities to discriminate against me on any of the “Protected Characteristics” in the Equality Act 2010.

Here’s my first reason for the celebration of the 28th November 2018. On this date two (2) years ago, my son Kevin Murray Kevin Murray was elected Councillor to the Friendship Division of Jlp Westmoreland WesternWestmoreland Western Westmoreland, Jamaica. He #created history in the making and as I set out celebrating, I refuse to let anyone take away my #mojo. My life is an “Open Book” and for anyone who is interested, you might have read about my life experiences to date. Therefore, I owe it to the naysayers, trolls and those harbouring their #confirmation biases to set the record straight.

I am not doing this for their benefits, but I am in the process of creating and leaving #legacies for my family and friends. Who knows, one day I might be the source of #reference in their research? Here goes, I got the opportunity of a lifetime to make the change that would eventually help me to break away from the cycle of #poverty that blighted my life. Let me affirm that as always, I was helped along the way by friends. I had to make the decision of what was best for me and my sons. I took my son in my confidence and shared my indecision with him. Although I can’t recall, I am sure I must have gotten his blessing?

I left Jamaica to come to the UK, before my son’s graduation from Manning’s School. But I am happy for the family and friends that I was/am privilege to have all my life.  I will have to write a #reflection about my family and the transitions we have been through to get to where we are at. My brother Texchus NembhardTexchus Nembhard entered the Jamaica Constabulary Force Police Force in July 1976. My first son was born in August 1976. My education was interrupted as a result, but I am thankful for all the #teachers who influenced my life from Primary to Secondary School. My older folks used to say ambition carry you through the world and I am a testament to this.

The transition to High School started with my niece Ann Chambers Chambers. My younger brother Ervin Nembhard Nembhard decided he was going to High School too. The rest is history and might be already documented in cyberspace. Let me be specific and to the point. I left my sons at crucial stages in their lives. My younger son Valdin Legister Legister was attending Primary School when I left Jamaica. I will leave space for others to do their research about why I am passionate about taking on advocacy to stamp out the #scourge of discrimination that is destroying lives. And why the establishments and systems in the UK are responsible for destroying 26 years of my life.

I am making no #apologies for my views because corruption is deep-seated and ingrained in this British Society that has been home to me for the past 26 years. I was afforded the opportunities. But unable to use or apply them to be of benefit to others.
