I Mervelee Ionie Myers would like to bring to your attention some of the pressing matters that are causing me concerns and thereby exacerbating my #diagnosed CHRONIC ANXIETY. Since some of these issues have arisen around the time when I was in a month of my 6 months #sanction. When 1 of my colleagues went and made #allegations on the 1st of July 2015 that I was not attending to a child who was crying to Emma. Emma in turn told me she had to be advised by her supervisor the area manager #HildaMiller how to deal with the matter because she is new and in training. Although I acted as if I did not know who the person was who made the allegations was, because I did not hear her and hearsay cannot go to the court. However I can assume who the person is based on the adults who were in the room at the time, who left and entered as well.
I have since noticed that I am been given instructions by way of a #3rdParty on important Matters to do with work. However I was not unduly bothered before because I now, know not to override my authority in any of these matters. Since I resumed work after the 2 months Medical #Suspension on the 2nd June 2015, I’ve informed the 2 Deputies about my CRB/DBS expiring in July. I kept on and on expecting to be contacted by Central Office to get it done. During my 1st #supervision on Friday 28th August with Marion the manager I informed her about it for the first time. She told me she’d contact CO and after a week I put my request in writing #ensuring I am adhering to Ofsted & LEYF Nurseries Welfare Requirements for safeguarding children in line with Suitability and Disqualification Checks.
That’s why I felt #demoralised today when after I worked carrying out normal day-to-day activities from the start of my shift at 8.00 am – 2.50. Then when 1 of my colleagues mentioned that a child needs changing and I offered I was hit like a bolt of #lightning out of the blue. #Criscella told me I could not change the child’s nappy, she has to do it. When I enquired why, I was told that I don’t have a CRB. Emma informed Criscella yesterday that I was not allowed to do nappy. I can reassure you that I am not raising concerns because I have nothing better to do with my time. However because of the SANCTION I have on my RECORDS resulting from what was done to me at BIB over a prolonged period of time. I prefer that if Manager/Deputy have any concerns about my work and me on a whole they should go about dealing with the matter in a #professional manner.
I just cannot handle another #episode like what happened at BIB. And I can assure you that I will not be sitting back #idly on my laurels and go back to BIB experiences over my dead body. Yesterday at the end of her shift Emma came down and said that all I need to do about my Hospital Appointment is to change shift with Criscella. She kept on rambling on about #mistakesbeing made, etc… Later when Criscella asked me about the matter I explained as best as I could. My arguments on this issue, where information is being passed to me by the 3rd Party who is Criscella is I am not being #dismissive of authority. But I think it would have been more professional if Emma could have told me at the same time she #addressed the Hospital Appointment that I should not change the children until my CRB came through.
Louise told me in the morning that she Emailed CO to get the matter of my CRB sorted and later she phoned down to #enquire about my email address. Up until that time nothing was said to be about not changing the children or anything else for that matter to do with the #expired CRB. The way I see things happening recently makes me feeling as if I am being #stalked because once more I see some staff #preying on me like what was happening at BIB. Last week I got in 15 minutes early and was waiting to sign in. Emma asked if I could start 10 minutes early because she needed to show the Apprentice round. I was still waiting to sign in when Emma insisted that I go ahead and she’d sign me in so I asked her to sign me out for the day before because I remembered when I got through the gate. She told me she’d done it yesterday.
I was in the Baby Room when Marion comes to the door and asked if I’d sign in. I explained about Emma asking me to start early and she’d sign me in. Marion wasn’t satisfied with my answer so I had to #defend myself saying I was not at fault, I was only #obeying the instructions given to me by the Deputy Emma and expected her to be responsible and accountable in doing her part. Marion then take a different tact asking if I’d come in before or after the #Apprentice. I was the last person to come in and no one else had gone through the gate. Marion claimed the gate was left unlocked. I can #swear on my Dead Parents Graves that the gate was not left unlocked because of my Obsessive Compulsives Disorder (OCD). When Emma comes back from the office I asked if she’d signed me in and she said she #forgot.
I told her because she forgot, Marion was #picking on me. Emma said Marion was picking on me because I left the gate opened and not because she’d not sign me in. Well I did not bother to stretch the argument. Since I am the one who has been #proactive acting professionally ensuring I abide by OFSTED Welfare Requirements & LEYF Safeguarding Policy and Procedures because no one bothered to act on the fact I’d informed them from as far back as 2nd June 2015 that my CRB would expire in July. I am hereby requesting that I be not put into any #compromising situations during the tenure of the rest of my employment. Until my CRB comes through I will not be changing any nappy as Emma told Criscella to relay to me yesterday. I will not be left on my own with any child/children. And I’d appreciate it if information sharing can be relayed to me other than Criscella as 3rd Party.
From past experiences I know that 3rd Party sharing of information can turn out like CHINESE WHISPERS. Where by the time it reaches to me, it is taken out of all #context and loses its content entirely. As of now I’d like to be spoken to verbally by the Manager/Deputies, emails – addresses that I supplied, text messages – Mobile # supplied, Messages on my Home Telephone # supplied, or letter to my Home Address that I will remind you: 16 Alma Grove Bermondsey London SE1 5PY and not 16A – 16B that it has been #changed to recently.
If it is of any #relevance I’ve recently being married to my Long Term Partner Mr Arnold TOMLINSON. But I am still using MERVELEE IONIE MYERS because that’s the name on my Paper works. Apart from the #trumped up allegations that they cooked up in BIB resulting in the Sanctions on my Records/File that seem to have #dropped off the face of the Earth, I know of no other reasons why I can’t work with Vulnerable Children and Adults.
